  • 2013 Award-Winning PS4 PS Plus Game Removed from PlayStation Store

2013 Award-Winning PS4 PS Plus Game Removed from PlayStation Store

An award-winning PlayStation 4 game from 2013 has been pulled from the PlayStation Store without any prior notice. Developed and published by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, The Bridge was available for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, but it appears only the PS4 version has been removed from sale.

According to reports on PSNProfiles, The Bridge was last discounted on the PlayStation Store in early August 2026. This indicates it was delisted sometime in the past few days. While players on PS3 and PS Vita can still see the game listed for purchase, both of those storefronts are shutting down soon, meaning if the PS4 version doesn’t come back, digital purchase options for the game will be gone for PlayStation users.

Currently, The Bridge remains available on Xbox and Steam platforms.

Back in 2018, PS Plus subscribers might already own The Bridge, as it was offered as a free monthly download in October of that year.

The official description describes The Bridge as “a puzzle game that challenges players to rethink their understanding of physics and perspective.”

We will keep an eye out and update if the game reappears on the PlayStation Store.

  • Leaked: PS5 Remake of Classic PS2 Action Game

Leaked: PS5 Remake of Classic PS2 Action Game

An unannounced native PS5 version of a remade PS2 action-adventure game has been leaked by the ESRB rating board. Originally released in 2020, Mafia: Definitive Edition is a complete PS4 remake of the beloved 2002 classic. It seems that PS5 players may soon have the chance to experience the remake natively, rather than through backward compatibility.

A ResetEra user discovered that the ESRB recently rated a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of Mafia: Definitive Edition. Neither Hangar 13, the developer, nor 2K, the publisher, has officially announced the port.

The assumption is that this will be a free upgrade for current owners, which is typically the case, but we’ll need an official statement to confirm. The game was recently discounted on the PlayStation Store but has since returned to its regular price of $39.99. This suggests that an announcement or release of the PS5 version is imminent.

PlayStation 5 Exclusive Unveils Major Story Expansion & Launch Date

Sucker Punch Productions’ acclaimed PlayStation 5 exclusive has announced its release date for a new story expansion. This update will coincide with the one-year anniversary of the original launch of the game.

The Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition is set to launch soon, featuring a new story chapter called Echoes of Sekigahara. Plus, this edition introduces a new single-player combat survival mode called Most Wanted. PS5 players who haven’t played the game yet will now have the opportunity to experience it in its entirety.

What can players expect from the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition? The story expansion, Echoes of Sekigahara, weaves its narrative between modern-day Ezo and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland. Players will meet Nagato, a significant figure from Atsu’s past, who arrives in Ezo searching for her.

In the current timeline, players will explore a hidden valley once occupied by The Snake and his loyal followers, the Vipers. The flashbacks reveal Atsu’s experiences during the Battle of Sekigahara. Additionally, players will witness a pivotal moment in her life before she returned home seeking vengeance. The expansion introduces new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and more, according to the official PlayStation blog.

The Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition, including the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion and Most Wanted mode, will be available for PS5 on October 1, 2026.

The Complete Edition is priced at $69.99 for newcomers, while existing players with the base game can upgrade for $14.99.

  • PlayStation 5 Open-World Game Updates Amid Fan Demands

PlayStation 5 Open-World Game Updates Amid Fan Demands

A popular PlayStation 5 game is about to get a highly anticipated patch update. This follows the game’s developers acknowledging significant player requests for improvements. These optimizations might be included in a future update to enhance the experience.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. Fans have been eager for updates on the game’s other platform versions, and Bethesda Game Studios responded, saying, “We’ve heard your feedback asking for an additional patch for Oblivion Remastered. The Nintendo Switch 2 version has several optimizations we’re exploring to bring to other platforms. We’ll share more details as they become available.”

The Switch 2 version of Oblivion Remastered performs well thanks to the console’s Nvidia hardware and its Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology. Still, it has some frame pacing issues and bugs that Bethesda may address in upcoming patches. Since Xbox and PlayStation 5 consoles use AMD hardware, they can’t benefit from Nvidia’s DLSS for faster and sharper gameplay, which limits potential improvements on those systems.

Looking ahead, Bethesda is considering applying some of the Switch 2’s optimizations to other platforms. If these updates happen, they would be the third patches for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. Details about what these updates might include are still under wraps, but fans can expect improvements in frame-time stability and overall performance.

The remastered version of Oblivion, powered by Unreal Engine 5, was released on April 22, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with the Switch 2 version launching on August 11, 2026. The PS5 and Xbox versions have received two post-launch updates, the latest coming in July 2025. Despite these patches, the game still experienced frequent crashes and performance issues, which hindered the experience. With no new updates released since last year, fans have been calling for further patches, and their voice is finally being heard.
