If you want to change the font size on a website to make it easier to read, here’s a simple solution that works without needing to dig into complicated code. You can do this directly through your browser’s zoom feature, which adjusts the entire page size, including fonts, making everything larger or smaller based on your preference.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. On your computer or phone, open the website you want to view better.

  2. To zoom in and make everything larger, press and hold the Ctrl key (on Windows) or the Command key (on Mac) while pressing the + key. Keep pressing + until the font size is comfortable for you.

  3. To zoom out and make everything smaller, hold Ctrl or Command and press the - key.

  4. To reset the zoom back to default, press Ctrl or Command and 0.

This quick method adjusts all on-screen content, including text, images, and layout, making it more readable without changing any website settings or relying on special browser plugins.

If you prefer a more permanent solution for your favorite browser, you can also adjust the default font size in your browser’s settings:

  • For Chrome: Click on the three dots in the upper right corner > Settings > Appearance > Font size, then choose your preferred size.
  • For Firefox: Click on the three horizontal lines > Settings > General > Language and Appearance > Fonts and Colors > Advanced > Set your desired font size.
  • For Edge: Click on the three dots > Settings > Appearance > Fonts > Font size.

This way, your chosen websites will always display text at a size that’s comfortable for you. Remember, using browser zoom is the quickest and easiest way to improve readability whenever you browse.
