If you’re dealing with a situation where your GitHub code snippets aren’t copying to your clipboard properly, here’s an easy way to fix it. Sometimes, the copy button just doesn’t work because of a glitch or a temporary issue in your browser or the website.

The first thing you should try is refreshing the page. Just hit the refresh button or press F5 on your keyboard. Sometimes, a quick reload can resolve these minor glitches.

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your browser’s cache. Your browser stores information from websites to make loading faster, but sometimes, this stored data can cause problems. Clearing the cache often fixes such issues.

To clear your cache:
– In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
– Select “Cached images and files” and click “Clear Data.”
– Restart your browser and try copying again.

If refreshing and clearing cache don’t help, consider switching to a different browser. Sometimes, certain browsers have compatibility issues that prevent buttons from functioning correctly.

Also, make sure your browser is up to date. An outdated browser might not support some features properly.

Lastly, disable any browser extensions that could be interfering — especially those related to security, ad-blocking, or scripts. Extensions sometimes block website scripts that the copy button might need to work.

Following these steps usually fixes the problem. If not, the issue might be on the website’s end, and waiting for a fix or contacting support could be the next step.

Remember, keeping your browser updated and clearing your cache regularly helps prevent many common issues while browsing or working on code websites.
