Capcom has announced that the Deluxe Edition and some downloadable content (DLC) for the highly anticipated 2024 PS5 action RPG, Dragon’s Dogma 2, will be removed from the PlayStation Store on June 24, 2026. PS Store users are also advised against purchasing Dragon’s Dogma 2 at this time, as the game’s digital versions are set to receive a permanent discount across all platforms soon.
Capcom has not disclosed the new price for Dragon’s Dogma 2 starting June 24, but confirmed that it will no longer include microtransactions or certain DLC items. The Deluxe Edition will likely be replaced by a new SKU that bundles the base game with the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion.
Starting next week, the following items will no longer be available for purchase:
– The Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition
– Selected DLC packages
At the moment, none of these items are on sale on the PS Store, so unless you need to make a purchase immediately, it’s recommended to wait.
Capcom has also confirmed that the Dark Arisen expansion will launch on October 9, 2026. The expansion promises to expand the game’s world with new stories and challenging encounters, including a visit to the snowy, abandoned Norgan region in the north, along with 12 new dungeon challenges spread across Dragon’s Dogma 2’s existing map.
