Clean drinking water is vital for the people of Speranza in ARC Raiders. Without it, they risk falling ill from parasites and tiny harmful organisms hidden in the water. The last thing Speranza needs is a disease outbreak.
Water filtration and purification systems make it possible to keep water safe. But these systems might serve other purposes too. Apollo, an explosives expert, supplies Raiders with a variety of grenades and mines to fight ARC, which are often less effective against their tough armor. Improving their ingredients could boost their power, and the water systems might help with that.
Where to Find the Filtration Systems at Spaceport
One of Apollo’s quests, called “The Clean Dream,” involves visiting the Spaceport and The Blue Gate. First, go to Spaceport and look for small, sloped buildings in the open area near the Launch Towers. These buildings are scattered around the edge of the area and have walkways or ladders that lead down into the Spaceport Tunnel underneath.
In the tunnels, loot four containers to complete the first step. Any breachable container counts, including those on trucks, metal crates, or machinery on the walls. Sometimes, security rooms on the western side of the tunnels hide Medical Bags or Weapon Crates, which can be accessed without keys.
Next, monitor the filtration system inside the tunnels. Several large tan tanks with text on them are available—approach one, and a prompt will appear to monitor it. Once you do this, that part of the quest is finished.
Where to Find the Purification System at The Blue Gate
Head to The Blue Gate for the remaining objectives. Start at the Maintenance Bunker on the eastern side of the map, just south of the Overlook Airshaft. Find a small, square opening with a ladder going into the ground next to the stairs leading up to the ENELICA Tower and Airshaft. Climb down into the bunker beneath to begin.
Enter through the first door on the right—inside, you’ll see two large blue tanks and machinery. Approach the tank on the right to get the prompt to monitor it. Doing so completes another step.
Then, go back upstairs, past the hallway that leads outside, and enter the other door you passed earlier. This door opens into an office space with lockers. Checking lockers on any map is useful, as they often contain rare materials, weapons, or other helpful items.
Finally, go to the two tables against the wall inside the office. Interact with the stack of folders near the computer monitor to take a photo of them. This completes the last step of the quest.
After completing all objectives, return to Speranza and talk to Apollo. You’ll receive a reward that includes experience points, a powerful Deadline Mine, three Showstoppers, and three Heavy Fuse Grenades.
