  • February PS Plus Extra & Premium Leak Sparks Fan Excitement

February PS Plus Extra & Premium Leak Sparks Fan Excitement

A recent leak has sparked a lot of excitement among fans regarding the upcoming game lineup for PS Plus Extra subscribers in February.

What games are rumored to be available for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in February?

According to a fresh report from trusted insider Billbill-kun on Dealabs Magazine, three titles are expected to join the PS Plus Extra library in February 2026: Neva, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and notably, the highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for 2023. While these details are still rumors, Billbill-kun has a spotless reputation for insider leaks, leading fans to believe these titles are likely to be included soon.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed 2018 game and the standalone Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up to tackle emerging threats, including the villain Venom, a symbiote creature. This marks Insomniac Games’ third Marvel project, with their next game, Wolverine, also expected this year.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was initially released in 2024, developed by KT Racing. It’s the 21st entry in the Test Drive series and the first since 2012’s Ferrari Racing Legends. The game takes players through a meticulously recreated Hong Kong, offering a sprawling open-world racing experience. Although reception was mixed upon launch, fans of racing games might find this to be a fun addition to their collection.

Neva is a 2024 puzzle-platformer developed by Nomada Studio and published by Devolver Digital. The story follows Alba, a young woman traveling with her wolf companion Neva across a world corrupted by darkness through its four seasons. The game plays as a side-scroller, featuring environmental puzzles and combat elements. Critical acclaim greeted its release, and it even secured the Games for Impact award at the 2024 Game Awards.

  • 2024 PS5 Exclusive Action RPG – 58% Off on PS Store!

2024 PS5 Exclusive Action RPG – 58% Off on PS Store!

A hidden gem among 2024 PS5 exclusive action RPGs is currently available at 58% off in a limited-time deal on the PlayStation Store. Fans of the genre shouldn’t miss this opportunity. Developed by Team Ninja, Rise of the Ronin is now at its lowest price yet and is a great choice for those interested in an open-world game set in historic Japan.

PS5 owners can grab Rise of the Ronin for only $23.39 until February 26. The game is enhanced for PS5 Pro, offering improved visuals and performance. For players who prefer multiplayer, it also supports up to two players in co-op mode.

A free trial for Rise of the Ronin is available on the PlayStation Store, allowing you to test the game before committing to a purchase.

The official synopsis describes a tumultuous time in Japan’s history: “Following three centuries of the Tokugawa Shogunate’s oppressive rule, the arrival of Western Black Ships sparks chaos across the nation. Amidst war, disease, and political upheaval, a nameless warrior carves their own path, holding Japan’s fate in their hands.”

Rise of the Ronin has received generally positive reviews and holds a Metacritic score of 76 out of 100. The game has also garnered several awards.

  • 2015 PS4 Open World Game Could Earn PS5 Compatibility

2015 PS4 Open World Game Could Earn PS5 Compatibility

A potential compatibility update for the PS4 and PS Vita open-world game Roundabout could be on the horizon, as its developer has expressed interest in addressing issues that have prevented its availability on current-generation consoles. Released in 2015, Roundabout offers a distinctive mix of genres, combining driving gameplay with puzzle-solving and full-motion video.

Roundabout has been plagued by a persistent bug that prevents players from unlocking one of its trophies, hindering 100% completion. Despite efforts from the community over time to resolve this issue, it has remained unresolved.

Tyler Treese, a trophy enthusiast at PlayStation LifeStyle, recently reached out to the game’s developer, No Goblin, with a potential fix discovered by players. In response, No Goblin confirmed their interest in making Roundabout compatible with the PS5. They also mentioned that once the game is re-released on the console, they plan to implement a quick fix for the trophy bug.

It’s important to note that PS4 owners can still access and play Roundabout on the PS5, and the game remains available for purchase on last-gen platforms. However, it has been temporarily removed from the PS5 store due to ongoing compatibility concerns.

Roundabout is a quirky driving game that combines puzzle elements and live-action video sequences, earning a dedicated following over the years.

  • PS5 Wolverine Release Date Closer, PS Store Narrowly Targets Window

PS5 Wolverine Release Date Closer, PS Store Narrowly Targets Window

An official listing on the PS Store for Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine has narrowed down the release window for the PS5 exclusive. While Sony previously announced a fall 2026 launch, the PS Store Mexico listing suggests the game could arrive in September 2026, which aligns with expectations.

Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 release date probably set for September 2026

As spotted by gamers, the Latin American PlayStation Store lists Marvel’s Wolverine with a release date in the third quarter of 2026. Since the third quarter includes July through September, and Sony has confirmed a fall 2026 launch, a September debut seems very likely.

Releasing in September makes sense for several reasons, notably because of GTA 6’s highly anticipated release. Industry insiders believe developers are intentionally avoiding scheduling major titles around what is expected to be this generation’s biggest hit.

It’s also notable that PlayStation Studios has a history of launching games in September. For instance, Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4 debuted in that same month.

Sony is scheduled to hold a PlayStation State of Play event this Thursday, February 12. There might be a new trailer or update for Wolverine, but whether a specific release date will be announced remains uncertain.

Most likely, a full launch date will be revealed sometime during the summer.

  • Divisive Reception for PS5 Remake of Classic PS3 Action Game

Divisive Reception for PS5 Remake of Classic PS3 Action Game

A newly released PS5 remake of a popular PS3 action game has received a mix of critical reviews.

What PS5 remake is causing divided opinions?

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, a remake of the 2009 PS3 title Yakuza 3 along with a brand new DLC, is scheduled for release on February 11, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The remake features a fresh visual overhaul of the original game, and while it has garnered strong recommendations from some players, reviews are notably split on whether it measures up to the original 2009 version.

On the review aggregator site OpenCritic, the game holds a critic score of 75, with a 72% “critics recommend” percentage. Many reviews remain divided over whether this remake lives up to its predecessor.

In a 7 out of 10 review from IGN, Tristan Ogilvie describes the game as “another enjoyable mix of gritty drama and quirky sidestories,” but notes that overall, it doesn’t feel as well-rounded as the series’ more polished entries.

Nintendo Life’s Oliver Reynolds, who rated it 6 out of 10, considers it “a fair entry in the series,” yet criticizes it for “poor pacing” and a recasting controversy that seemed unnecessary.

DualShockers’ Usama Mehmood gave the game a 7.5 out of 10, expressing ambivalence, noting that while it has moments of brilliance, it’s also quite polarizing. He remarked that not every black sheep in the series needs a remake.

Despite the mixed reviews, some fans found the remake to be a worthy addition to the franchise. On our sister site, ComingSoon, Tyler Treese awarded it a 9 out of 10, praising it for being “much better than the original.”

He highlighted the new Dark Ties expansion, which offers a compelling story about one of the series’ most intriguing villains, along with a wealth of new side content. Treese concluded that, although a remake of Yakuza 4 might seem imminent, fans can currently enjoy what he describes as one of the series’ best games, beautifully updated.

  • Horizon 3’s Release Delay Hints at Next-Gen PS6 Launch

Horizon 3’s Release Delay Hints at Next-Gen PS6 Launch

A recent Horizon 3 update has been leaked online, and it’s unlikely to please fans. The news also suggests that the game might not be launched until the PlayStation 6 hits the market.

What’s the latest Horizon 3 update?

In a few recent posts on Bluesky, journalist Jason Schreier briefly discussed the newly announced Horizon Hunters Gathering, a roguelike-style addition to the Horizon universe. Schreier mentioned that Guerrilla Games has been developing this new game. When asked if the development team was just a small branch of the studio, Schreier clarified that it’s “most of the studio.”

Another fan inquired whether this indicated that a third main Horizon game wouldn’t be coming anytime soon. Schreier simply responded with “Yup.” While this wasn’t entirely unexpected, it confirms that a third major Horizon game probably won’t arrive before 2028 or later — around the time Sony might unveil the PlayStation 6.

The Horizon series has been a massive success for Sony. Debuting in 2017 with Horizon Zero Dawn, the franchise centers around Aloy, a hunter living in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by robotic creatures resembling dinosaurs and other animals.

The franchise includes two mainline titles along with numerous spin-offs, such as a virtual reality game, a Lego-themed adventure, comic books, a board game, and an upcoming movie adaptation.

  • Top 2024 PS5 Hidden Gem at 70% Off — Lowest Price on PS Store

Top 2024 PS5 Hidden Gem at 70% Off — Lowest Price on PS Store

One of the most unexpected PS5 adventure titles for 2024 is currently available at its lowest price ever through a limited-time deal on the PlayStation Store. Combining elements of Cyberpunk 2077 with L.A. Noire, Nobody Wants to Die is a linear experience that takes roughly 7 to 8 hours to complete, and it’s now 70% off.

PlayStation 5 owners can purchase Nobody Wants to Die for just $7.49 until February 26, after which it will return to its regular price of $24.99.

Set in New York City in the year 2329, the game immerses players in a world where eternal life comes at a steep cost. The story follows Detective James Karra, who, after a brush with death, takes on an secretive case from his police chief. With only a young liaison officer, Sara Kai, to assist him, they navigate the city’s dark underbelly to uncover hidden truths about the city’s powerful elite—they’re racing against time to catch a killer and uncover unsettling secrets.

Fans of neo-noir detective stories will likely enjoy Nobody Wants to Die. I personally found it engaging, especially the challenge of earning the Platinum trophy, which is fairly straightforward.

In terms of gameplay and visuals, both are polished, especially considering it’s a AA indie game. PS Plus Premium members also have the option to stream the title if they prefer.

  • State of Play February 2026: Confirmed, but Lowered Expectations

State of Play February 2026: Confirmed, but Lowered Expectations

Sony has officially announced a PlayStation State of Play event scheduled for February 2026. While this news is promising, recent showcases suggest fans should temper their expectations.

The live broadcast is set for Thursday, February 12, at 2 p.m. Pacific Time / 5 p.m. Eastern Time, with the event expected to last over an hour.

Sony has highlighted that the presentation will feature “eye-catching third-party and indie games coming to PS5,” along with the latest updates from PlayStation Studios teams.

While the inclusion of PlayStation Studios is confirmed, it appears we’ll see updates from multiple studios rather than entirely new game announcements. Fans are hoping for more reveals on titles like Saros, Horizon Hunters Gathering, and potentially Marvel’s Wolverine, which Sony has kept under wraps. However, expectations for brand-new reveals should be kept in check, as previous events typically focused more on existing projects and upcoming titles.

Much of the extensive runtime is likely to be dedicated to showcasing third-party titles and indie games, as has been typical in past presentations.

We’ll keep you updated with more details as they become available. As usual, we’ll stream the event on PlayStation LifeStyle and provide a comprehensive recap for those unable to watch the live broadcast.

  • Hidden PS Plus Game Returns After Monthly Hiatus

Hidden PS Plus Game Returns After Monthly Hiatus

A Sega PS5 and PS4 game has reappeared in the PS Plus Extra catalog after being pulled unexpectedly in late December 2025 or early January 2026. The game, Endless Dungeon: Definitive Edition, was initially added to the catalog in June 2025. Although players who downloaded it before January could still access it, it was no longer available to new users after its removal, leaving potential new players unable to continue or try the game.

Endless Dungeon was among several titles that vanished from PS Plus recently. It seems likely that a glitch in the PS Store caused the temporary removal, as the game was missing until late last week. The issue appears to have been resolved over the weekend, restoring access to the game.

However, other affected titles remain unavailable. As of now, the missing games include:

    • A Hat in Time, removed sometime in or before December 2025
    • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, gone since or before November 2025
    • Totally Reliable Delivery Service, also missing since or before November 2025
    • Carto, with the removal date still unknown

While Sony announced that Spirit of the North and Carto would be removed from PS Plus in February 2026, both had already disappeared from the catalog months earlier—specifically before their scheduled final day on Tuesday, February 17.

  • PS Plus Members Receive Free PS5 Upgrade for Adventure Game

PS Plus Members Receive Free PS5 Upgrade for Adventure Game

PS Plus members have been notified that they are eligible for the recent free PS5 upgrade of one of the top PS4 action-adventure titles, Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. The PS5 version is already accessible to owners without an extra charge, but PS Plus users are still waiting to receive their free upgrade.

Team Cherry confirmed that the PS5 upgrade should be available to PS Plus subscribers. They acknowledged that the update hasn’t gone live for members yet and are currently in discussions with Sony to resolve the delay.

As of now, the free upgrade still hasn’t appeared for users. There are two important points to keep in mind: First, updating the Hollow Knight listing on the PS Store has triggered a recurring glitch that causes the game to disappear from the PS Plus Extra library. Second, players who previously claimed Hollow Knight as a free game in 2020 will likely be ineligible to access the free PS5 upgrade.

Regarding the first point, this issue has been discussed extensively before. Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition is included in the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs. However, if you didn’t add the game to your library or download it prior to the PS5 port’s release, it won’t appear in the catalog until the PlayStation Store updates properly. Do not buy the game now if you’re a PS Plus Extra or Premium member! Wait until Hollow Knight reappears in the store catalog.

For the second point, according to a statement from Team Cherry, the free PS5 upgrade is designated for “PS+ Game Catalog players.” Since Essential or monthly free games are different from the PS Plus Catalog, it appears that players who claimed the game back in November 2020 will not be able to access the free upgrade.

  • Surprise! 7 Favorite Action Games Drop on PS5 PlayStation Store

Surprise! 7 Favorite Action Games Drop on PS5 PlayStation Store

Konami is releasing a surprise collection that brings together seven classic games, available now on PlayStation 5.

During Nintendo’s Direct showcase, Konami announced the upcoming launch of the Super Bomberman Collection. The digital versions are already available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

You can purchase the digital edition now on the PlayStation Store for $19.99. Physical copies will be available for pre-order soon, though the pre-order option on Konami’s website is currently disabled. The physical release is scheduled for August 25, 2026.

This collection features all five titles from the Super Bomberman series released between 1993 and 1997, including titles that were initially exclusive to Japan. It also includes the original Bomberman game from 1985 and Bomberman II from 1991.

Like many collections, it offers several quality-of-life enhancements such as auto-saving, rewind capabilities, and more. Players can listen to the series’ classic soundtrack in an area dedicated to music, explore a gallery boasting over 200 character illustrations, and enjoy a Boss Rush mode that pits them against iconic bosses from the series.

  • Epic PS5 Adventure Game Now 65% Off in New PS Store Deal

Epic PS5 Adventure Game Now 65% Off in New PS Store Deal

A highly praised adventure game for PS5 and PS4 from 2022 is currently available at its lowest price through a limited-time PS Store deal. Created by Beethoven & Dinosaur and published by Annapurna Interactive, The Artful Escape is now 65% off as part of the Critics’ Choice promotion.

The Artful Escape is only $6.99 in the latest PS Store sale

Players on PS5 and PS4 can purchase The Artful Escape (cross-buy) for just $6.99 until February 26. After that, the price will return to its regular $19.99. Since the game isn’t included in the PS Plus Extra library, fans should take advantage of this deal while it lasts.

Describing The Artful Escape is tricky. Officially, it’s called a “psychedelic journey” that follows a musician trying to escape his late uncle’s shadow—a legendary artist.

“Striving to break free from his uncle’s musical legacy, a teenage guitar prodigy sets out on a colorful, surreal adventure to craft his stage persona, exploring stolen opera houses, alien-like landscapes filled with melodies, and the vastness of the Cosmic Extraordinary,” an official description explains.

The game features a voice cast with notable talent, including Lena Headey from Game of Thrones.

  • PS Store Gets Long-Awaited Feature Returning After Years Gone

PS Store Gets Long-Awaited Feature Returning After Years Gone

The previously removed feature on the PlayStation Store website has finally been reinstated, making browsing a bit easier. Sony had taken away the ability to view game images on the web store, forcing users to search elsewhere to see what the games look like.

The PlayStation Store still lags behind platforms like Steam and Xbox in many ways, and it doesn’t yet support trailers on the web version. But small wins like this are appreciated. Interestingly, trailers and videos are still available on the console’s store and the PlayStation App, so it’s unclear why Sony removed the images feature from the web version.

What’s even more unusual is that game screenshots were accessible through the store’s backend all along. They appeared in Google image searches, and tech enthusiasts could extract them directly from the store’s backend. It’s surprising that it took Sony so long to simply enable users to view these images normally.

Hopefully, game trailers will also make a comeback soon, along with better management of the numerous low-quality titles cluttering the PS Store. While Sony has begun cracking down on scam developers, the issue of unwanted and low-quality software persists.

  • Free PS5 Demo Unveiled for Stunning Upcoming RPG

Free PS5 Demo Unveiled for Stunning Upcoming RPG

PS5 gamers have been treated to another free demo for a highly anticipated upcoming game—this time, a promising RPG. Alongside the demo for Pragmata, Capcom also released a demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection on the PS Store, much to players’ delight.

All PS5 players can try out the free demo of Monster Hunter Stories 3. It’s completely accessible without a PS Plus Premium subscription, and it doesn’t require any subscription to play since it’s an offline single-player experience.

However, if you want to stream the demo via the cloud, a PS Plus subscription is necessary. PS Portal users can also enjoy remote play functionality.

The demo allows players to experience the beginning of Monster Hunter Stories 3, and any progress made will carry over to the full game when it launches on March 13.

The story is set in Azuria and Vermeil, two nations on the brink of disaster. The narrative begins with the discovery of an egg containing a Rathalos, a creature believed to be extinct. As hope flickers, it’s quickly shattered by darkness. From the egg emerge not just one Rathalos, but twins, marked with the Skyscale—reminding players of a devastating civil war from two centuries ago.

  • Unexpected PS5 Upgrade for Celebrated 2017 PS4 Game

Unexpected PS5 Upgrade for Celebrated 2017 PS4 Game

A highly acclaimed 2017 PS4 game has unexpectedly dropped a free upgrade for PS5, and fans couldn’t be more excited. Existing PS4 owners of Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight can now access the new native PS5 version without paying extra.

The PS5 upgrade for Hollow Knight is available now on the PlayStation Store and is completely free for current PS4 owners. This upgrade includes:

    • The original, award-winning action-adventure game.
    • Four substantial content packs launched alongside the game, adding new quests, challenging boss battles, and powerful new abilities.

The PS5 version, which launches alongside Hollow Knight’s debut on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, features higher frame rates, improved resolutions, and enhanced visual effects.

Hollow Knight is priced at $14.99 on the PlayStation Store. It now offers cross-buy, meaning anyone who purchase it will receive both the PS4 and PS5 versions.

For trophy enthusiasts, rest assured: the PS5 version comes with its own trophy set, including a Platinum. However, a previous glitch that made earning the Platinum easy has been patched. Currently, trophies don’t automatically unlock, so players will need to replay Hollow Knight on PS5 if they want to earn all the trophies again.

  • New PS5 Demo Released for Highly Anticipated Capcom Action Game

New PS5 Demo Released for Highly Anticipated Capcom Action Game

A highly anticipated Capcom action game is nearly ready to launch, with the publisher releasing a demo on PlayStation 5 for fans to experience firsthand.

Pragmata, the upcoming action-adventure title, now offers a demo on PlayStation 5, with versions also available for Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Following the Steam demo released last month, fans across all platforms now have the chance to explore the game. Pragmata follows Hugh, a space explorer, and Android companion Diana as they band together to combat an AI that has overtaken a space station.

Scheduled for release on April 24, 2026, Pragmata will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The game has been in development for some time, first announced in 2020 during Sony’s PlayStation 5 reveal. It was initially expected to launch in 2022 but experienced an indefinite delay in 2023. When it arrives, Pragmata will mark Capcom’s return to an original franchise after a significant hiatus.

The game’s storyline involves Hugh and Diana navigating a lifeless lunar research station, where they face the threat of a hostile AI controlling the environment. Their mission: work together to defeat the AI and find a way back to Earth.
