One of the most unexpected PS5 adventure titles for 2024 is currently available at its lowest price ever through a limited-time deal on the PlayStation Store. Combining elements of Cyberpunk 2077 with L.A. Noire, Nobody Wants to Die is a linear experience that takes roughly 7 to 8 hours to complete, and it’s now 70% off.
PlayStation 5 owners can purchase Nobody Wants to Die for just $7.49 until February 26, after which it will return to its regular price of $24.99.
Set in New York City in the year 2329, the game immerses players in a world where eternal life comes at a steep cost. The story follows Detective James Karra, who, after a brush with death, takes on an secretive case from his police chief. With only a young liaison officer, Sara Kai, to assist him, they navigate the city’s dark underbelly to uncover hidden truths about the city’s powerful elite—they’re racing against time to catch a killer and uncover unsettling secrets.
Fans of neo-noir detective stories will likely enjoy Nobody Wants to Die. I personally found it engaging, especially the challenge of earning the Platinum trophy, which is fairly straightforward.
In terms of gameplay and visuals, both are polished, especially considering it’s a AA indie game. PS Plus Premium members also have the option to stream the title if they prefer.
