  • Top Locations for Completing Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders

Top Locations for Completing Light Bulbs in Arc Raiders

If you want to survive in the dangerous world of Arc Raiders, you’ll need to scavenge just about everything you can find in the wasteland. Most items will be used to improve your stations or craft new gear, but some are important for your Expedition Project, like the Light Bulb. You’ll need three Light Bulbs to get past step three of the project. These bulbs can be tricky to find if you don’t know where to look, so here are some of the best places to hunt them down.

    Where to Find Light Bulbs

When searching for Light Bulbs, focus on areas that are likely to drop electrical-themed loot. These locations are marked with a lightning bolt icon. Recommended spots include:

    • Power Generation Complex and Electrical Substation on Dam Battlegrounds
    • Pilgrim’s Peak on The Blue Gate
    • Lootable Vehicles

Of these, Dam Battlegrounds tends to be the most fruitful. This area includes a Power Generation Complex to the north and an Electrical Substation to the south. For the Power Generation Complex, search the underground tunnels beneath the main building — they’re full of lootable spots. The control room on the eastern side is especially good for finding Light Bulbs.

The Electrical Substation is smaller but often produces Light Bulbs. Look for the small buildings on the northern edge of this area; they usually contain containers or lockers that are more likely to hold a Light Bulb.

Pilgrim’s Peak is another good place, particularly the outlying buildings and the tower. The basement control room can also have Light Bulbs, but I’ve noticed it’s often filled with electrical parts like wires, sensors, and processors.

    Lootable Vehicles
Vehicles are surprisingly one of the best sources for Light Bulbs. Check cars with intact hoods or the backs of buses since these are breakable containers you can loot. Good spots include the highway and parking garages in Buried City, the checkpoint at The Blue Gate, as well as the damaged road running through the middle of Dam Battlegrounds.

Remember, Light Bulbs can’t be bought or crafted, so always keep an eye out for them, even if you don’t need three right away for your Expedition. They are a crucial resource and often found in specific scavenging spots, especially in less conflict-heavy areas, making them safer targets for exploration.

  • Where to Find Magnetrons and Flow Controllers in Stella Montis for Completing and Solving Tasks in Arc Raiders

Defending what’s left of humanity in Arc Raiders can be challenging, especially when you’re just starting out. While it’s helpful to learn about the materials and maps you’ll encounter, discovering new objects or enemies can be especially rewarding or tricky.

The Stella Montis map remains mostly uncharted. Tian Wen has asked you to do some reconnaissance and bring back new materials for her research. We’ll guide you through locating everything she needs so you can advance in the story and earn rewards that will make raiding easier. Here’s what you need to know to begin your search for Tian Wen in Stella Montis.

Where to Take a Photo of the Rover in the Sandbox

When you accept this task, you must deploy to Stella Montis on the map. Your first goal is to photograph one of the rovers in the Robotic Sandbox. There are two sandboxes centered on the map where the rovers, which look like dune buggies, are located.

Be careful when approaching this area because enemies like Shredders, Fireballs, Pops, and Sentinels are common and will attack immediately, alerting other Arc units and raiders nearby. To complete the task, simply walk up to the side of a rover and interact with it to take the photo. Once done, the objective will be marked as complete, allowing you to move on.

Where to Find the Security Checkpoint Papers

Next, head to the upper floors near where the lobby connects with the security bridge. Just north of the bridge, turn east to find a small reception area with a room behind it. Inside, you’ll find filing cabinets and tables filled with paperwork.

Note: Going through the checkpoint will activate a metal detector, which can attract unwanted attention.

Approach the papers and examine them to complete this part of the quest. Afterward, it’s best to quickly return to Speranza via the lobby metro. It’s nearby and easy to access as long as the metro is operational. Be cautious of other raiders on your way down.

    Where to Find Magnetrons

The next item you need is a Magnetron for Tian Wen. These parts can be found in the Assembly Workshop located to the north on the map. The area contains many offices and open spaces, which can be dangerous when facing raiders or Fireballs.

Although a Magnetron might not always spawn, this is your best chance to find one. Search all tool carts, cabinets, and workstations for parts. Even if areas appear to have been looted, you might still find something useful. Make sure to check the upper levels of the workshop for more opportunities.

Tip: There is a raider hatch in the workshop that you can use for a quick escape if needed.

    Where to Find Flow Controllers

Finally, the Flow Controllers are located in the Medical Research Labs. While Shredders patrol these halls, there are many hidden rooms and quiet corners where you can hide. Search all carts and medical bays for resources.

Finding a Flow Controller isn’t guaranteed every visit, but your chances are good. Once you find one, be sure to store it safely in your inventory. Then, bring it back to Tian Wen to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive a Burlette, a Silencer, an Extended Light Mag, and 100 Light Ammo.

  • How to Identify the Poisonous Plant in Arc Raiders by Solving the Puzzle

How to Identify the Poisonous Plant in Arc Raiders by Solving the Puzzle

Since Speranzans are forced to live underground in Arc Raiders to avoid ARC threats, most of their food production also takes place beneath the earth. They grow all their crops inside special greenhouses that don’t need natural sunlight. Sadly, because of the destruction above ground, the variety and number of crops are very limited.

Only the hardiest plants can survive naturally, and few of those that are cultivated in labs have managed to endure the destruction or be replicated. It’s possible that a new source of food or medicine is growing in the Dam Battlegrounds. Lance is looking for a brave Raider to collect a sample so he can test it.

Where To Find The Potentially Poisonous Plant

A new type of plant is part of Lance’s quests. You unlock this quest after completing the previous one given by Apollo, called Building A Library. You must finish this quest in one game session; if you don’t, your progress resets. The target location for this quest is the Dam Battlegrounds.

Head to the swamp area on the western side of the map and go to the Old Battleground zone. Look for the large Baron Husk in the middle of all the debris.

Note: You can break open the Baron Husk’s main body to find loot such as ARC Alloys and ARC Flex Rubber. However, you need to attack it first and then run back quickly, because it will explode and catch fire before you can loot it safely. If caught in the fire, you could take heavy damage.

Near the main part of the Baron’s body, you’ll see some knee-high plants with three red-orange flower clusters on top. The specific plant you need is just beneath the Baron Husk’s body. Interact with the flower to gather a sample for Lance. When you’re ready to turn in the quest, go back to Speranza’s clinic and speak with Lance. As a reward, you’ll get some XP, a Vita Shot, and five Antiseptics, which are used to upgrade your Medical Lab and craft healing items.

  • Where to Find the Power Box Completing the Pattern House in Arc Raiders

Where to Find the Power Box Completing the Pattern House in Arc Raiders

People in Speranza are fighting to establish a safe spot above ground in Arc Raiders. Their main concern isn’t the harsh weather or destruction—it’s ARC, the endless army of machines that originally wiped out humanity.

Since Speranza is entirely underground, it remains stable, but eventually, the people know they have to do something. They want to go back to the surface and reclaim what’s left of humanity’s ruins, but that will take time. The first step toward this goal is to improve Speranza’s ability to detect and understand ARC’s movements.

How to Find the Antennae Terminal

Our presence on the surface begins with a quest from Shani, which opens after completing the previous mission, Back On Top. To continue, you need to go to Dam Battlegrounds.

This mission must be finished in one run. The first goal is to reach the Pattern House, located on the northern edge of the map near the Power Generation Complex.

Tip: Make sure to loot the Pattern House, as well as the Pale Apartments and Ruby Residences in the west. These locations may seem small and unimportant, but they often contain good loot. Expect to find weapons, keys to places in the Spaceport, rare materials like Toasters, and even Legendary Mods. Many of these spots haven’t been searched thoroughly yet.

    Inside the Pattern House

When you arrive, the quest updates. Head inside the building and go down the first hallway on the first floor. There, you’ll usually find trash cans. Continue into the dark room filled with machinery.

Look for a power switch attached to a console on the wall beneath some pipes. Interact with it to flip the switch. Then return to the main part of the first floor and find the zipline near the stairs, attached to the broken elevator.

Ride the zipline up to the roof of the building. Once there, locate a small yellow computer on a desk near the guardrail. Interact with it to activate the antennae’s computer.

    Final Steps

Completing this will finish the last objective. From there, return to Speranza when you’re ready. Talk to Shani and turn in the quest to receive some experience points, a Buried City Town Hall Key (a great place to find valuable loot), a Raider Hatch Key, and three Jolt Mines.

  • Where To Find the JKV Shipping Container in Stella Montis in Arc Raiders

Where To Find the JKV Shipping Container in Stella Montis in Arc Raiders

As you explore Arc Raiders, be cautious when entering dark areas like Stella Montis. Where there’s loot, there are raiders, and nearby, Arc units are never far behind. Shani, however, believes it’s worth risking the danger to gather useful materials and relics.

In the Cold Storage mission, your goal is to track down lost shipments and recover the materials inside. We’ll assist you with everything you need to stay on Shani’s good side and earn your rewards. Here’s what you should know before heading to Stella Montis and how to return safely.

Where to Find a J Kozma Ventures Container

Finding a storage unit isn’t easy. Large loading bays are filled with cargo, and Shani has little info—just that you’re searching for a J Kozma Ventures shipping container. Your best bet is to go to the lower levels of the Stella Montis map to locate the storage units. Be careful not to fall and take damage, especially when navigating the area.

Tip: Avoid heavy resistance from Arc enemies if possible by sneaking around, or you can fight your way through. For an easier approach, head to the Lobby Metro station. There, you’ll find a white shipping container with the faded J Kozma Ventures logo in red.

Where to Find the Rare Books

Inside the lobby basement, approach the shipping container that carries the rare books. Make sure your inventory has enough space to carry them once you collect the stack of old books. Since it’s right next to the metro station, it’s easy to call in a pickup and leave quickly.

Note: If the metro call station doesn’t work or times out, retrieving the books becomes much harder, and you may need to find an alternative way out.

After you gather the books, return them to Shani. She’s glad you saved them from being lost and rewards you with a few gas mines and a Raider Hatch key. Next, you’ll help Tian Wen with the Snap and Salvage quest in Stella Montis.

  • Where to Find the Beehive in the Olive Grove in Arc Raiders

Where to Find the Beehive in the Olive Grove in Arc Raiders

In Arc Raiders, the world above is filled with machines and raiders willing to do anything to survive. Getting through each mission on the surface is much harder than it looks, and a bit of luck can make all the difference. Eventually, Celeste will give you special tasks that are for the good of everyone in Speranza.

Word spreads to Celeste that some bees are still alive on the surface. She asks you to find them and explore their hive to bring the bees back safely. We’ll guide you to locate the hives and search them so you can finish this task and earn your rewards.

    Where to Find Olive Grove:
To reach the Olive Grove, go to the Blue Gate map with basic gear. It’s a short mission, so don’t risk losing something important. The Olive Grove is in the southern part of the area, which is a large orchard with lemon, apricot, and olive trees.

While you’re there, Celeste advises you to listen carefully for the buzzing of bees. Be aware that the noise can be hard to hear if there’s a nearby gunfight or if mechanical sounds from Arc Wasps and Hornets drown it out.

Where to Find the Bee Hives:
To find the beehives, head to the middle of the orchard where all three types of trees are. As you approach, you might hear soft buzzing. The hives aren’t typical—they’re natural and aren’t the neat, box-shaped ones you might expect. Instead, look for honeycomb dripping from the ceiling of a chicken-wire shed. Get close and check for bees to complete your quest. Afterward, go to the nearest extraction point to report back to Celeste. She will thank you and reward you with Advanced Electrical Components and some sensors for your efforts.

  • Where To Follow Red Markers in the Buried City in Arc Raiders

Where To Follow Red Markers in the Buried City in Arc Raiders

In Arc Raiders, very few survivors remain outside of Speranza. Every survivor you find helps increase humanity’s numbers against the machines. Protecting humanity is always the main goal, so it’s important to follow leads when new raiders are spotted.

Apollo will contact you to find a family interested in settling in Speranza. You’ll need to search the Buried City for them. The quest is tough because the guidelines aren’t marked on your map, but we’ll help you locate the target and return safely. Here’s what you should know.

Where to Find the Abandoned Highway Outpost

Go to the Buried City and aim for the broken highway on the far west side of the map, a few clicks south. The camp is set up on the remains of the highway, so use a zipline or a grappling hook to get there quickly. Once on the highway, follow it all the way to the outpost.

While the family is no longer there, you should search the backpack on the ground for clues. Inside, look for a red marker—similar to the ones Tian Wen points out in her quests. These red ribbons are your next clues.

How to Follow the Red Markers

The markers are placed on posts and cars along the highway. Follow them carefully to stay on the trail. Continue along the entire highway until you reach the final break, where it dips into the sands of the buried residences. From here, the trail gets harder to follow.

At the end of the broken highway, head north following the red markers into the heart of the buried residences. After climbing the sand mound, turn southeast to complete your journey.

How to Complete “A Warm Place to Rest”

In the ruins of the buried residences, you’ll find a shallow grave. Examine it to finish the mission and then extract quickly. The nearby Eastern Metro Station is a good escape route if it’s still open. Once back in Speranza, talk to Apollo about what you discovered.

While the family is gone, searching the grave will give you clues. After examining it, you’ll find a recovered item, and your goal is to extract swiftly. The grave area provides a nearby escape route, making it easier to return promptly.

    More Survivors and Rewards

It’s unfortunate that the family didn’t survive, but more survivors are out there. As a reward for your efforts, Apollo will give you three noisemakers, five blue light sticks, a rosary, and a new cosmetic color. Even if the mission was tough, these rewards help keep you going.

Arc Raiders isn’t exactly a relaxing walk, unless the walk is through a landscape full of deadly robots. Everywhere you turn, there’s an ARC machine ready to ruin your day, from massive Bastions that make you question everything to tiny Ticks that somehow find every exposed bit of skin. Knowing what you’re up against makes a big difference, and this guide is here to help.

Here’s a list of enemies you’ll encounter, along with their weak spots and tips for defeating them. Think of this as your quick reference guide to stay ahead of the game’s enemies.

Updated by Allyson Cochran on November 14, 2025: We’ve added information about the Matriarch and Shredder enemies.

All Enemy Types and How to Defeat Them

Below, we describe each enemy type and how we suggest handling them.

Note: You can mark enemies in-game to see their names.

Enemy Name Type/Description How to Defeat / Weak Points
ARC Surveyor Large armored rolling machine with a scanning beacon Shoot its exposed core during scans. Heavy ammo destroys armor faster. Dodge and take cover to avoid collisions.
Bastion Slow, heavily armored walking fortress Aim at the yellow leg joints or disable its rear canister to stun it. Then, target its exposed rear barrel. Use blaze or snap blast grenades for extra damage.
Fireball Fast-moving, flame-spitting machine Hit its unarmored core when the front panel opens. It’s relatively weak and easy to damage with most weapons.
Bombardier Mortar shooter supported by spotter drones Fire at its yellow knees to slow it down and expose weak spots. Destroy its rear cylinder to disable quickly. Take out spotters first to prevent targeting; attack right after it fires.
Hornet Small flying drone with electric stun weapon Destroy front thrusters with heavy ammo or rear thrusters with any weapon. Falling from a height also destroys it. Dodge after firing or hide behind cover.
Leaper Agile four-legged attacker that causes shockwaves Dodge its jumps and shockwaves. Attack when it is recovering from a leap. There are no specific weak points.
Pop Small rolling explosive machine Destroy it before it explodes. Use vaults, stay ahead, or dodge roll away.
Queen Massive boss with multiple attack styles Coordinated team effort needed. Avoid mortars, lasers, and EMPs. Attack weak spots when they are exposed.
Rocketeer Large flying artillery ARC Hit its thrusters to bring it down. Dodge missiles with rolls or cover. Use lure grenades to redirect its fire.
Snitch Unarmed reconnaissance drone Destroy or disable thrusters to prevent reinforcements. Stay behind cover or out of detection range.
Tick Small spider-like parasite Shoot before it latches on. Run behind cover or away from sounds. It’s easy to kill individually.
Wasp Small flying drone with light guns Destroy its thrusters to cause it to fall. Dodge or hide to avoid fire.
Matriarch Larger, more dangerous version of the Queen Avoid rockets and gas mortars. Attack when its shield drops. Prioritize summoning ARC first. Use cover and long-range weapons for sustained damage.
Shredder Enemy at Stella Montis, close-quarters combatant Dodge its four-round pellet burst by strafing or using cover. Keep distance and attack from behind or the sides. Very deadly in tight spaces.

What Loot Does Each Enemy Drop?

Loot can vary, but here’s what each enemy typically provides:

    Enemy Name Loot

  • Where to Find Every Book Apollo Asks for in the Arc Raiders Library

Where to Find Every Book Apollo Asks for in the Arc Raiders Library

Reading is a meaningful activity both in real life and in the fictional world of Arc Raiders. It helps spark the imagination and gives people something to focus on. In a world where machines called ARC have caused widespread destruction, the people of Speranza need fun distractions to pass the time.

Speranza has a small library, but with many people and limited books, it won’t be long before everyone gets tired of reading the same titles repeatedly. Apollo wants to expand the library with new books, and an old library is the perfect place to find some.

    ### Where to Find All Three Books for the Library

Building a library is part of Apollo’s quests. This particular quest becomes available after completing the previous task, Digging Up Dirt, from Celeste. To do this, you’ll need to return to the Buried City, but this time, head to the library across from the Town Hall.

Be cautious when entering the library. A Bombardier can spawn outside in the courtyard and attack through the broken ceiling, especially if Spotters nearby reveal your position.

There are three books you need to find, located in yellow bookcases that are knee-high. One book is on the ground floor, next to a pile of bricks and a fallen-over shelf near the window.

The other two books are on the second floor. One of the bookcases is against the wall near the top of the stairs, and the final bookcase is against a half-wall on that floor, beside two larger bookcases that have fallen on each other.

Each bookcase drops one of the three books you need. Once you gather all of them, go back to Speranza and talk to Apollo to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive an Explosive Mine, a Jolt Mine, and a Heavy Fuze Grenade.

  • How to Defeat an Arc Enemy with a Fireball Burner in Arc Raiders

How to Defeat an Arc Enemy with a Fireball Burner in Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders is known for throwing challenges that seem simple at first but become tough when you get into the action. The “What Goes Around” quest is a good example. It looks straightforward: destroy an ARC enemy with a Fireball Burner. But before you can do that, you need to find the burner, locate the right enemy, and hit it before you’re taken out.

This quest feels like a quick sidetrack but can quickly turn into a heated fight. If you’re ready to bring the heat and earn some solid rewards, here’s what you should know before starting “What Goes Around.”

How to Complete the What Goes Around Quest

In this quest, your main goal is to destroy an ARC enemy using a Fireball Burner. First, you need to get the burner itself.

How to Get a Fireball Burner

To obtain a Fireball Burner, find and defeat a Fireball ARC. These enemies drop the burner when defeated. For detailed instructions, check the Fireball ARC guide.

How to Destroy an ARC Enemy with a Fireball Burner

Once you have a burner, head to the Dam Battlegrounds. The best spots are the Control Tower or the Research & Administration Building because they have plenty of ground-based enemies and are easy to navigate.

Since flying ARCs can be tricky to hit, it’s best to focus on ground enemies like Pops or Fireballs inside buildings.

    Using the Fireball Burner

Equip the Fireball Burner in one of your quick-use slots to react fast in combat. When you see an ARC enemy approaching, wait until it gets close, then open your quick-use menu (the same button you use to heal). Toss the burner onto the ground between you and the enemy. The explosion will set off the fire, taking out the ARC. Just wait a few moments for it to finish.

    After the Enemy is Destroyed

When you take out the ARC enemy, you can then safely extract and collect your rewards. These include a Cans Backpack Attachment cosmetic, three Blaze Grenades, and two Noisemakers.

  • How to repair the electrical substation on Spaceport in Arc Raiders

How to repair the electrical substation on Spaceport in Arc Raiders

Power is a vital resource for Speranza in Arc Raiders because, as a fully underground city, they rely heavily on electricity to keep everything running—lights, medical equipment, and generators. They mainly get their power by maintaining electrical stations on the surface, as their infrastructure and machinery are still operational above ground.

These electrical stations are at risk due to dangers from above, including electromagnetic storms and the deadly ARC machines that originally destroyed humanity. When a worker is injured or an electrical station needs repair, it’s up to a Raider like you to step in and fix the problem.

How to Find Evidence of the Worker
Power Out is another quest in the game, unlocked after completing the previous quest, Prescriptions Of The Past. This mission takes you to the Spaceport, where you need to visit the Electrical Substation located on the southeastern edge of the map.

Enter the main part of the station, which is made of concrete walls. Look across from the power box near the fence for a container. Interact with this container to update your second quest objective.

Image: Map of southeastern Spaceport with an orange star marking the Electrical Substation location.

During the quest, you’ll need to head to the Southeastern Spaceport’s electrical substation. Once there, find the main section of the station, and on the side, locate a container. Opening this container will cause a large fuse brick to drop. Pick up the fuse and bring it to the highlighted, open section of the power box. Insert the fuse, flip the switch, and restore power. After turning the power back on, you are free to extract.

When you return to Speranza, talk to Celeste at her shop to complete the mission.

Image: Raider standing by a container with a yellow prompt at the Spaceport Electrical Substation.

Note that the electrical substation, although not a designated loot spot, can contain some useful loot like wires, batteries, and electrical components inside containers.

As a reward for this straightforward task, you’ll gain experience points, the Bag Variant for the Radio Renegade Outfit, and additional supplies including five Wires, five Explosive Compounds, and five Oil. Completing this quest also unlocks the next mission, Flickering Threat.

  • How to Complete Bombardier and Bastion Cells Solo in Arc Raiders

How to Complete Bombardier and Bastion Cells Solo in Arc Raiders

The ARC in Arc Raiders consists of several dangerous machines armed with various weapons—machine guns, missiles, energy blasts, electricity, or just crushing opponents with their size. They have already destroyed most of humanity, and anyone left, especially those who go outside like Raiders, must stay alert for their threats continuous. One misstep can result in a Bastion or Bombardier wiping out a group in minutes. Eliminating these enemies is crucial—for Speranza, for humanity, to reclaim the planet, and for the valuable materials they hold.

How to Destroy Bastions and Get Bastion Cells

Bastions are large, tick-shaped ARC machines covered in black-gray armor. They wield a powerful machine gun that can quickly drain your shield and health, even if you’re equipped with medium or heavy gear. Unlike Bombardiers, Bastions don’t bring allies and rely solely on line of sight to spot enemies. Their single weapon is their gun.

It’s wise to first take out smaller enemies nearby, like Wasps and Hornets, since Bastions often have at least one nearby, and the noise from their gunfire can attract them, making fights harder. When engaged, a Bastion will shoot its machine gun at you for several seconds while trying to circle your position if you’re behind cover. If you’re out in the open, it will take a more direct route toward you but generally tries to stay circling around.

Best tactics involve using good cover—such as the rocket parts outside the Rocket Assembly at Spaceport, a building with no windows or ones you can crouch under, or a structure with multiple exits. Be cautious, as ARC enemies can shoot through tiny gaps like windows or machinery gaps.

Start by throwing or deploying explosives like Trigger Nades, Blaze Nades, or Wolfpacks at its main body or back panel to maximize damage. If aimed well or in sufficient quantity (six or more), explosives can often destroy a Bastion outright. When out of explosives, shift to your best weapon with ARC Armor Penetration and aim for the yellow joints in its legs to cripple it. Destroying these joints can hinder its mobility and leave it stunned briefly, giving you opportunities to do free damage.

Damaging the back panel is also effective, though it’s harder unless multiple players work together or you use distraction tools like grenades or electromagnetic storms to stun the enemy. Once enough damage is dealt, the Bastion will explode into debris, which contains materials like ARC Alloy, Circuits, and Gun Parts. Frequently, debris from the main body and legs drops Bastion Cells—about three to four on average, but possibly more with good luck, as smaller debris can also contain them.

Bastion Cells are mainly used to upgrade your Gear Bench to Level III. They can also be sold for 5,000 Credits each or recycled into ARC Alloy and Mechanical Components.

Locations of Bastions include various maps such as Dam Battleground (north of Hydroponic Dome), Buried City (outside the hospital, Piazza Arbusto, outside Town Hall), Spaceport (near Rocket Assembly, between Maintenance and Storage, outside Hangars, launch towers), and The Blue Gate (under tunnels, outside gates, near the Maintenance Bunker). They can spawn on every map in certain spots, with the highest chances at Spaceport, Blue Gate, and Buried City.

Weak points on Bastions and Bombardiers include the yellow joints on all four legs, a canister on the back near the bottom, and a barrel-shaped part hidden behind the canister. These areas have less armor and are easier to damage, especially with weapons that don’t have high ARC Armor Penetration like the Burletta. Destroying the canister exposes a critical inner mechanism that takes heavy damage. Attacking leg joints can disable parts of the legs, thwarting movement, and breaking canister or leg joints stuns it briefly, allowing more damage.

Loot from destroyed Bastions includes materials like Mechanical Powercells, but only the main parts contain Bastion Cells, which can be looted from legs and the main body. Precise aim at the back panel can do more damage but is harder unless multiple teammates distract the enemy or you use stun grenades or EMP effects.

Effective weapons for fights against Bastions and Bombardiers include any weapons with at least Moderate ARC Armor Penetration—such as the Arpeggio, Venator, Renegade, Osprey, Torrente, or Rattler. For the strongest damage, the Heavy Fuse Nades, Explosive Mines, or the Launcher-based Hullcracker are optimal. These explosives are especially effective due to the large size and slow speed of these enemies.

Explosives are best for flooding damage because of their wide blast and ease of use. The Wolfpack, Trigger Nades, Blaze Grenades, and Snap Nades are all suitable options. The Osprey can also be useful to snipe enemies from a distance, although the enemy’s range and accuracy mean it can hit you just as easily if you’re not in cover.

To maximize damage, bringing along items like numerous Shield Rechargers, Bandages, Adrenaline Shots, and possibly Defibrillators is important when facing these enemies. At least medium shields are recommended for better protection, and augmented gear like Tactical MK. 2 can help by dropping smoke grenades upon shield break.

Summary: Use explosives to capitalize on their slow movements and large size, target weak points with weapons that have sufficient armor penetration, and utilize cover and distractions to keep safe during encounters.

  • Where to Find Apollo’s Espresso Machine Parts for Solving in Arc Raiders

Where to Find Apollo’s Espresso Machine Parts for Solving in Arc Raiders

Many people enjoy drinking coffee because it boosts energy and has a pleasant taste. In a world like Arc Raiders, which is post-apocalyptic, coffee has become a rare luxury. Coffee beans are hard to find since they often need special underground farms, and coffee machines are uncommon too.

When survival is the main priority, items like coffee are not usually a top concern. However, a warm cup of coffee can lift spirits and improve morale. Someone has found a semi-functioning coffee machine, and Apollo can fix it, but he will need some special parts to get it working.

Where to Find the Espresso Parts

Espresso is part of one of Apollo’s quests. You unlock this quest after finishing the earlier quest from Celeste called Bees. To do this, you need to go to the Buried City and complete the quest all in one go, or you’ll have to restart.

The espresso parts required for this quest are different from the Coffee Pot Trinket, which you can possibly find in loot containers throughout the game.

To find the parts, head to the street between Corso da Vinci and the Santa Maria Houses, just below the broken highway. Look for the café on the corner near an alleyway.

Enter the café, go behind the counter in the ground-floor room, and interact with the machine at the corner of the counter, near the broken air conditioner on the wall.

The espresso machine parts will drop from the machine once you interact with it, and your quest objective will update. Collect the parts and deliver them to Speranza when you’re ready. Then, speak with Apollo at his shop to finish the quest.

Pro Tip: Store any quest items or trinkets in your Safe Pocket to prevent losing them if you get killed, which could reset your progress or force you to collect the items again.

After collecting the parts, return to Speranza. The quest completes once you hand over the espresso machine parts. As a reward, you’ll receive a Coffee Pot Trinket and three Adrenaline Shots. These shots are very helpful as they fully restore your stamina and boost stamina regeneration temporarily.

Arc Raiders Faces Backlash Over AI-Generated Content

Digital Phablet – As Arc Raiders continues to grow in popularity, surpassing expectations and attracting a substantial player base, Embark Studios’ well-known extraction shooter is drawing some criticism for its use of AI-generated content within the game.

Known as one of the most approachable extraction shooters available today, thanks to its welcoming community and multi-platform support, Arc Raiders quickly climbed the charts. The game has attracted over 400,000 simultaneous players on Steam alone and has received favorable reviews from both players and critics alike.

However, Embark Studios, the developer behind Arc Raiders, is facing backlash from fans and a particular game review outlet because of its implementation of AI voices in the game. Eurogamer rated the game 2 out of 5, criticizing the use of generative AI as the primary reason.

Arc Raiders faces criticism over AI-generated content

It’s noteworthy that this isn’t the first instance of Embark Studios integrating generative AI into their titles. The Finals, a free-to-play first-person shooter developed by Embark, also employs generative AI technology for voice acting.

According to Games Radar, Stefan Strandberg, Embark’s Chief Commercial Officer, has clarified in multiple interviews that they did not fully utilize generative AI, stating that AI’s role was limited to text-to-speech functionalities.

    Arc Raiders

The controversy has even ignited discussions among players on platforms like Reddit. Many community members expressed their opinions, with some questioning the necessity of AI voices. One user commented, “I really enjoy Arc Raiders, but I just don’t understand why they decided to add AI voices. It feels completely unnecessary.”

Another participant wrote, “My favorite moments are when I interact with other players—whether they’re role-playing as merchants or leading others with flutes. These genuine human interactions are what make the game special, and the use of inhuman AI voices somewhat ruins that authenticity.”

Conversely, some individuals pointed out that opinions are often biased, with one Reddit user stating, “People tend to seek out reviews that match their feelings. When they encounter a differing opinion, they get irritated. It’s normal to disagree, but respect others’ viewpoints.”

Despite some disagreements, Arc Raiders continues to enjoy strong popularity among multiplayer enthusiasts. Its engaging gameplay, combined with unique features that set it apart from other extraction shooters, sustains its large player base.

    Ongoing discussion and ratings

The debate over AI’s role in gaming has also spilled over into social media, with some noting the significant impact of recent reviews. One tweet remarked, “This is going to be talked about a lot. Eurogamer’s review heavily lowered Arc Raiders’ score. It was once rated 94/100 on OpenCritic, making it one of the best-reviewed multiplayer games, but it’s now down to 88, mostly because of that 2/5 review. Ouch.”

While the controversy persists, the game’s loyal community continues to enjoy what it offers, demonstrating that despite criticism, its appeal remains intact.

  • How to Fix the Celeste Generator Using Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

How to Fix the Celeste Generator Using Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

After the Power Up event in Arc Raiders, Celeste is trying to restore the power in Speranza. Since the city is underground, most of its infrastructure, technology, and systems depend on electrical and solar power.

If the power isn’t working properly, the residents will eventually lose light and energy. Their greenhouses and food supplies could die or get damaged, and medical technology needed to save injured people will become useless. Celeste needs a Raider to go to the Dam Battlegrounds and help repair what’s broken.

How to Find and Fix the Generator

This part of Celeste’s mission happens in Dam Battlegrounds, unlocked after completing her previous quest, Power Out.

Start at the Power Generation Complex on the northern edge of the map. Enter through the left side of the building if possible. If you go in from the right, you’ll still find the Generators — you’ll just need to walk across the entire building first.

Tip: Watch out for Ticks. They often appear in the Generator room, hanging from beams and walls. You’ll hear them make a mechanical chirping sound, or you can check high-up spots to avoid surprises.

The Generator room is on one of the lower floors on the left side of the building. It’s close to the entrance, large in size, and has bright teal flooring. Look for the generator with yellow wires in front. To repair it, you’ll need four wires, which you can bring from your stash or find inside the Power Generation Complex.

Since the area is filled with electrical and tech loot, wires are easy to find either on their own or by recycling materials like Power Cables. Even if the area has been looted, you’ll likely find some wires in containers because they are not highly sought-after.

Bring the wires to the broken generator, interact to repair it, and complete the first objective. Next, locate the Ventilation Shaft and the Power Switch inside it.

How to Find the Ventilation Shaft and Turn on the Power

The Ventilation Shaft is near the center of the Power Generation Complex. You can reach it in a couple of ways:

    • Exit the Generator Room through the right door, walk down the hall, and take the first door heading north.
    • If you came outside, drop onto the staircase inside the building from its top, near the North Complex Elevator. Be ready for some fall damage, which can be easily healed with a Bandage or edible items like Moss or Agave.

Before entering, make sure no Sentinel is lurking inside the shaft. Then, go to the power boxes just below the first set of stairs. Interact with the yellow-orange box in the corner to turn the power back on. With this done, all four objectives are complete.

Return to Speranza and talk with Celeste at her shop to turn in the quest. You will receive experience points, a Helmet variant for the Radio Renegade Outfit, five Medium Gun Parts, and three Advanced Electrical Components.

  • How to Solve the Red Room Puzzle in Arc Raiders

How to Solve the Red Room Puzzle in Arc Raiders

In Arc Raiders, there are many secrets, puzzles, and activities players can complete to earn rare loot. Most of these puzzles are pretty simple to solve on paper. However, because other Raiders may be around, there’s a good chance you’ll have to fight for your gear.

One of the most dangerous and conflict-filled puzzles is the Red Room, located on The Blue Gate map. Here’s what you need to know about finding, completing, and surviving this tricky puzzle.

Where to Find the Red Room Puzzle

The Red Room puzzle is in the tunnels underneath the Reinforced Reception area. It’s located in the northern part of the map. To get there, head to Reinforced Reception and go inside the large stone building. Take the zipline down to the lower level, then follow the thick blue line on the floor through the door on your left.

Eventually, you’ll reach a hallway with a big metal door on your right. Next to it is a battery deposit station. This is the entrance to the Red Room puzzle. The Red Room’s location won’t change, so it’s easy to find, but it also means other players often wait here for ambushes.

Enemies you can expect to encounter in the tunnels include Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops.

How to Complete the Red Room Puzzle

To open the Red Room door, you need to deliver three batteries to the deposit station beside the door. The batteries aren’t far away. They spawn in specific spots, identified by a machine with three red lights that you can interact with. Carrying the batteries will disable your weapon and make moving harder, so be cautious.

There are two main places where batteries can spawn:

    • From the room you entered via the zipline, turn right and find the battery machine under the yellow graffiti.
    • Alternatively, from the same entry point, go along the wall under the staircase marked with red graffiti.

Once you grab a battery, carry it to the deposit station near the Red Room entrance and place it there. Doing this three times will activate the door switch, allowing entry. Keep in mind, while carrying batteries, you are vulnerable. Watch out for other Raiders who might try to ambush you.

    Important Tips

The Red Room door can only be opened from the outside. This means someone could lock you inside while you’re looting. If you’re playing alone or don’t trust others, sprint in quickly and grab loot before someone can trap you. Being stuck there with no way out can be a big problem, especially if you’re carrying valuable gear.

Once inside the Red Room, you can loot freely. The room is filled with containers containing high-tier gear, weapons, blueprints, Epic materials, and more. There’s also a guaranteed weapon case. While completing this puzzle is worth the effort, stay alert to avoid getting trapped or ambushed.

What Are All the Map Conditions?

Map conditions are temporary gameplay modifiers that change how you play. Here are the current conditions:

    Map Condition Description
Hidden Bunker A sealed bunker appears on Spaceport outskirts. Look for heavy Arc activity to find it. Activate four antennas to unlock. Raider Hatches are disabled, and exit points are limited, making PvP fights tougher.
Lush Blooms Natural resources like fruits and seeds spawn more often. Great for gathering with minimal combat.
Night Raid The map is at night with moonlight. Visibility is low, flashlights reveal your position, and enemies are more aggressive. Keys and better loot behind locked doors are more common, making PvP more dangerous but more rewarding.
Electromagnetic Storm Lightning strikes occur across the map. Avoid hits to shields but use strikes to disable enemies. Useful for fighting tough targets or completing combat quests. Stay alert when looting.
Prospecting Probes More Arc Probes and Couriers appear, perfect for quests or farming probe loot. They cluster closer together for faster runs and quick extras.
Husk Graveyard Significantly increases the number of Arc husks available for looting and quests. Best for harvesting husk materials quickly.
Harvester A large Harvester machine spawns, protected by a Queen. Requires teamwork to defeat. Expect big PvE battles and valuable rewards.

Being familiar with these map types and conditions can help you prepare better and maximize your success in each zone.
