All Celeste Journal Locations in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

Most traders in Arc Raiders will mainly give you side quests that benefit only themselves. Only Celeste offers you missions that give humanity a real chance against the Arcs. However, after completing several of her quests, she will eventually give you a task that benefits her personally.

This task appears during Celeste’s Journals quests, where she asks you to visit specific outposts in the Dam Battlegrounds area and retrieve two of her journals. Finding these journals can be tricky if you don’t know exactly where to look.

Celeste’s Journal Location in the Northern Outpost

Although the quest mentions a northern outpost, it’s actually called the Raider Outpost East on the map. You’ll find it at the very top, just above the Power Generation Complex when you’re zoomed all the way in. Once you arrive, locating the journal is straightforward.

    Inside the Outpost

When you’re inside the tallest building at this outpost, you’ll see a large circular area and a small hallway nearby. Enter the hallway and look for a yellow interaction icon on the beds. Interacting with it will cause Celeste’s journal to drop onto the ground.

    Important Tips

You need to pick up both journals from their locations and carry them out safely. Be careful, because if you get knocked out after grabbing just one journal, you’ll need to repeat the entire process to retrieve both again during that same raid.

To make this easier, consider using a loadout with the blue looter ability, which provides two extra safe pockets for carrying items. Remember, if you’re knocked out after getting only one journal, you’ll have to do the entire quest all over again, since it must be completed in one raid.

Celeste’s Journal Location in the Southern Outpost

The second journal is easier to find. It’s located in the South Swamp Outpost, which is clearly visible on the bottom left of the Dam Battlegrounds map when fully zoomed in.

    Inside the Southern Outpost

Enter this outpost and head down the hallway. The journal can be found on a bed there. Once you have both journals, you can exit the outpost and finish the quest.

  • Where to Find the Seed Vault in the Research Building in Arc Raiders

Where to Find the Seed Vault in the Research Building in Arc Raiders

When playing Arc Raiders and starting raids on the upper level, you might find yourself rushing in with a basic loadout just to complete a quest. Most of these quests ask you to reach specific locations, and if you go in with your customized gear, you risk losing everything in the process.

One such quest is “Root Of The Matter,” which you can get from Celeste after completing several other missions. For this quest, you need to find a specific seed vault in the Buried City map. Here’s a simple guide on how to do that easily.

Where To Find The Research Building

When you accept the Root Of The Matter quest from Celeste, she’ll direct you to the Research building. You can locate this building on the Buried City map, which becomes available after completing a few raids. Once there, you’ll see two buildings near the center of the map—one yellow and one red. The yellow building is the Research building you need to find. It’s straightforward to reach once you spawn into the map.

Where To Find The Seed Vault

The best way to enter the Research building for this quest is from the south side, where you can walk through some broken windows. If you come in through other entrances, you can go down to the bottom floor using the stairs on the south side.

After entering through the south or descending to the lower level, head down the hallway inside. The seed vault is inside the first room on your left—it’s a yellow container, so it’s easy to spot once you’re inside.

    What To Do Once Inside

After interacting with the seed vault, you need to pick up the seeds that drop onto the ground. If you have a safe pocket, store the seeds there to prevent losing them if you get knocked out. You’ll need to deliver these seeds to Celeste to complete the quest.

  • How to Find Rooftop Gardens in Arc Raiders by Completing & Solving

How to Find Rooftop Gardens in Arc Raiders by Completing & Solving

Everyone contributes to Speranza in Arc Raiders, but Tian Wen prefers to do things her own way. She doesn’t usually mingle with others beyond the basics, but after Celeste urges her, Tian Wen wants to try doing a little more. She needs help from a Raider to make it happen.

Speranza constantly needs more greenhouses to grow food for the city. Tian Wen is looking for crucial materials to build some of these greenhouses, which are best found in the Buried City. Get your gun ready, pack some bandages, and search the rooftops for what you need.

How to Find the Rooftop Gardens in Piazza Roma

To locate the rooftop gardens she mentioned, head to the Piazza Roma area on the west side of the Buried City. The gardens are in the building closest to the southern entrance of Western Station.

You can either go through the building itself to gather loot first, or climb the yellow ladder at the edge of the upper of two buildings to reach the roof. Once on the rooftop, look for a water pump machine attached to one of the planters, connected by two hoses. Interact with the pump to get a guaranteed Water Pump, which will complete that part of the quest.

While exploring, remember to also look for lemon trees both inside and outside the city. They look like small, tall trees with thin branches and little lemons, and three lemons are needed for Scrappy’s second upgrade.

How to Find Fertilizer in Grandioso Apartments

The other location required for this quest is the Grandioso Apartments, situated at the southwestern edge of the Buried City, just south of Piazza Roma. To get inside, the easiest method is through one of the lower floors’ open windows on the southern side of the building. Move toward the middle of the rooms to find either a staircase or a zipline that leads to the roof.

Be cautious of Pop Rollers and Fireballs inside the building—they will track your movements even from different floors and can chase you onto the roof. Once you reach the roof, cross the small bridge to the northern side. On the roof’s edge, past two cages, you’ll find two plant pots sitting on a pallet.

Interact with these pots to collect the fertilizer you need. Afterwards, use the stairs or zipline to descend to the lower floor and exit through the northern end of the building. Make sure to have the fertilizer and water pump in your inventory before leaving, and avoid selling these items.

Return to Speranza and speak with Tian Wen at her shop. Completing this mission rewards you with experience points, the uncommon IL Toro shotgun, 40 shotgun shells, and a Shotgun Choke II modification.

  • Which Hydroponic Dome Has the Data Archives in Arc Raiders?

Which Hydroponic Dome Has the Data Archives in Arc Raiders?

The Speranza underground city in Arc Raiders is a huge complex. Most of Earth’s remaining people live there, which means there are thousands of mouths to feed. Because there’s hardly any natural sunlight, they grow most of their food in labs and special farms designed for this purpose.

Their food options are limited, and when repairs are needed, they must use similar technology from above ground to fix things. Celeste hopes to build on past research and improve the gardens and crop variety in Speranza. To do this, she needs a Raider to check out the Hydroponic Domes for her.

How to Find the Data Archives

In one of Celeste’s quests called “Untended Garden,” which you unlock after completing her previous quest “A Balanced Harvest,” you’ll head to the Dam Battleground. This quest must be finished in one go. The first place to visit is the Hydroponic Dome Complex in the northwest part of the Dam Battleground.

The swamp area nearby is a good place to find Great Mullein plants, which are used to make herbal bandages. There’s also a large area of First Wave Husks to loot at the nearby Old Battleground, and an extraction point is close by. There are four domes in this area, but you need the one in the lower-left corner, near the Central Swamp Lift at the center of the region.

Inside the dome, you’ll find a tall white computer console near the door with a prompt to interact. Collect the data from it to complete your quest goal. Afterward, you’ll need to upload the data at any Field Depot.

Where to Upload the Research Data

A Field Depot is located in the Hydroponic Dome Complex, roughly in the middle of the area, just north of the dome you’re exploring. Go there and find the quest-specific computer on a desk in the corner of the room, next to the regular computer.

Interact with this computer to upload the data to Celeste. Once it’s uploaded, the quest objectives are complete. You can then extract and return to Speranza. Talk to Celeste in the Traders tab to turn in the quest and receive your reward, which includes:

    – Some experience points
    – Three Advanced Mechanical Components, used for crafting and upgrading many Epic weapons
    – Three Heavy Gun Parts, also useful for upgrading various weapons of different rarities
    – Five Canisters

  • Where To Find the Victory Ridge Raider Camp in Arc Raiders

Where To Find the Victory Ridge Raider Camp in Arc Raiders

During the first wave in Arc Raiders, many brave individuals lost their lives fighting against ARC, despite its overpowering firepower and large numbers. Their sacrifices gave humanity a chance to survive above ground, and thanks to them, the Raiders are able to go out and salvage resources.

Although many lives were lost, those who survived in Speranza remember them. Occasionally, Raiders are sent back to old camps and battlegrounds where some of the fiercest fights happened. These trips serve as both remembrance and sometimes as opportunities to find relics from the past or even survivors below ground.

How to Find the Raider Camp at Victory Ridge

Victory Ridge is one of Celeste’s quests, and it becomes available after completing her earlier quest, Keeping The Memory Alive. This task must be finished in one run, and it takes place at Dam Battlegrounds.

The first step is to go to Victory Ridge, which runs along the northern edge of the map, from the Pattern House to the Pale Apartments and the Old Battleground on the northwest corner. Once there, the mission updates, and your next goal is to locate the Raider camp at Victory Ridge. The hint is that the camp is under the broken highway. There are two main sections of destroyed highway, but you need to focus on the West Broken Bridge.

Look for the area with broken-down cars and large sections of highway debris. Find the rusted barrels and a blue tarp hanging over the debris, which creates a makeshift tent. Crawl under this tarp to find a small metal box on the ground, similar to the ones you deliver to Field Depots. Interact with it, and it will open to reveal Major Aiva’s Patch—that’s your reward.

Tip: Always store quest items in your Safe Pocket if you don’t have a more valuable item there. This way, even if you die, you’ll still have the item and can complete the quest back in Speranza.

You can choose to keep exploring Dam Battleground for more loot or exit and return to Speranza via the closest extraction point. Once back, speak to Celeste at her shop in the Traders tab. There, you’ll watch a cutscene between Celeste and Tian Wen. Afterwards, you can claim your rewards, which include some experience points, six Crude Explosives, two Processors (needed to craft higher-tier Augments), and a Music Box valued at 5,000.

  • How to Repair Solar Panels in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

How to Repair Solar Panels in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

With nearly all above-ground structures destroyed in Arc Raiders, humanity has moved underground to a massive city called Speranza. They do their best to keep things running using materials collected by Raiders.

Powering an entire underground city is a big challenge. Besides generators, Speranza depends heavily on solar power since there’s plenty of sunlight. Solar energy is a simple, safe, and effective way to generate electricity. While ARC might overlook solar panels, nature can cause problems for them now and then.

How to Repair the Solar Panels

In the game, after completing Shani’s quest, Eyes In The Sky, a new quest called After Rain Comes unlocks in the Buried City. Celeste asks you to repair flooded solar panels, which is one of the few quests that requires you to find or bring specific items.

Pro tip: If you can do Tian Wen’s quest, Eyes On The Prize, at the same time, you should. Both tasks need Wires to repair or modify things, so bringing enough Wires for both saves trouble.

The solar panels are located between the Grandioso Apartments and the Old Town Hatch in the western part of the Buried City. They sit in a large puddle of water.

To fix the panels, you need five Wires and two Batteries. It’s best to gather these items beforehand from your stash because Wires and Batteries are rare, mainly appearing as loot from the Commercial, Medical, and Old World categories.

You’re more likely to find Wires and Batteries in Dam Battlegrounds or the Spaceport. These areas tend to have lots of tech and electrical supplies, especially at Dam Battlegrounds.

    How to Gather the Materials

If you forget to bring Wires and Batteries, look near the center of the map at Research and Space Travel buildings. The Parking Garage also often has some in the wrecked vehicles.

You can also salvage items like Power Cables, Damaged Heat Sinks, and Industrial Batteries, which can be broken down into Wires and Batteries.

Bring these items to the solar panels near Grandioso Apartments. When close, interact with the yellow power box nearby to start the repair, which will show you the needed materials.

After the repair, you’ll complete the main objective of the quest. You can choose to exit the area and return to Speranza or explore more, such as the Space Travel building, to gather extra loot.

Once back in Speranza, talk to Celeste in the Traders tab to finish the quest. You’ll earn experience points, five Blue Raider Flares, three Antiseptics (used to craft Sterilized Bandages and Vita Spray), and five Durable Cloth (used for Herbal Bandages).

  • Where to Find a Pharmacy in Buried City for Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

Where to Find a Pharmacy in Buried City for Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

In Speranza, everyone works together to support the entire city in Arc Raiders. There are many Raiders who salvage materials, architects, researchers, scientists, and medical experts, since injuries happen all too often.

Your main source of medical supplies is Lance, a stylish android who specializes in life-saving treatments. However, since he frequently uses supplies, he constantly needs more. This time, he’s looking for old technology to improve his ability to treat different injuries and provide better care for his patients.

    ### How to Find Pharmacies
A quest called “A Reveal In Ruins” comes right after Lance’s earlier mission, “Medical Merchandise.” To complete it, you need to go to the Buried City map and find an ESR Analyzer.

Unlike most quests, this one must be finished in one try. You either need to successfully extract the ESR Analyzer at a station or keep it safe in your Augment’s Safe Pocket, so you don’t lose it if you die.

The ESR Analyzer can be found in any pharmacy. There are two locations in the Buried City: one at Piazza Arbusto in the east and the other at Piazza Rosa in the south. Both have a green sign on the building that reads “Farmacia” (which means Pharmacy in Italian) and display at least one green cross sign on the front or side.

Pharmacy buildings are usually locked unless someone has visited them before. To access one, approach and press the interact button to open the door.

    ### Where to Find the ESR Analyzer
Look for the checkout counters in either pharmacy. There will be a special interaction prompt for a small machine between the two cash registers.

The ESR Analyzer appears as an interactable item. You can pick it up and add it to your inventory — it will be stored as a quest item, categorized as a trinket.

Once you have the analyzer, you need to extract it and return to Speranza when you’re ready. Head to Lance in the Traders tab and talk to him to finish the quest.

As a reward, you’ll gain experience points, an Epic-tier Tactical MK.3 (Healing) Augment that allows wearing Light and Medium Shields, and it releases a healing cloud when you’re revived. You’ll also receive one Surge Shield Recharger.

  • Where to Farm Laboratory Reagents in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving

Where to Farm Laboratory Reagents in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving

If you enjoy causing explosions, you’ll want to upgrade your Explosive Station in Arc Raiders. It offers a good range of grenade options and requires several materials of different rarity levels that you need to collect. One of the later materials is Laboratory Reagents, and you’ll need three of them to upgrade to Explosive Station III.

Here are some top spots I recommend for finding safe bottles of chemical materials to add to your backpack filled with explosives and sharp objects.

    Where to Find Laboratory Reagents

Laboratory Reagents are classified as Medical materials, which means you have a higher chance of finding them at points of interest marked with a plus sign icon. Some key locations include:

    • Hospital and Research areas in Buried City
    • Testing Annex in Dam Battlegrounds

Among these, the Hospital is the most popular because it’s the only major location dedicated solely to Medical items. This results in a larger loot pool with less competition from other types of items, giving you a better shot at finding what you need. However, since it’s so popular, many players visit often, and it’s common to encounter Raiders hanging around.

If you’re playing solo, this might be advantageous since most players tend to be passive and hesitant to fight. While there’s no guarantee you won’t get hurt, in all my solo runs at the Hospital, I haven’t experienced a gunfight yet.

Teams of three tend to be more aggressive, so be prepared for a tougher challenge.

    Quick Escape Tips

Both the Hospital and Testing Annex have nearby lifts and tunnels—use these for quick escapes if you’re in trouble.

    Other Locations

Research locations in Buried City are decent alternatives, thanks to multiple floors you can loot and fewer ARC enemies. Plaza Rosa also shows the Medical icon, but I haven’t found any Laboratory Reagents there, and ARC tends to be swarming outside the buildings.

    Images of the Locations

If you want a visual reference, here’s an image of a player searching for Laboratory Reagents in Arc Raiders:

    Additional Tips

For a change of scenery, I recommend the Testing Annex in Dam Battlegrounds. It’s my favorite spot for finding Medical items. Though smaller than the Hospital, its second floor is packed with lootable drawers, bins, and desks—where I’ve found most of my Medical supplies like Rusted Shut Medical Kits, Antiseptics, and Laboratory Reagents.

Avoid Spaceport and The Blue Gate if you’re specifically farming Medical materials—they don’t have dedicated spots for these items, making them less efficient for this purpose.

    Remember

Laboratory Reagents are not guaranteed drops, even if you clean out spots like the Hospital entirely. Sometimes, luck isn’t on your side, so don’t get frustrated if it takes a few tries to gather all three bottles you need.

  • Arc Raiders Gun Tier List: Completing & Solving the Best Weapons

Arc Raiders Gun Tier List: Completing & Solving the Best Weapons

Arc Raiders is a fast-paced, competitive shooter where players face off against hostile enemies, including aggressive human opponents and dangerous Arc robots. The weapons you bring into each raid are crucial—they can determine whether you succeed or fail. Because each gun has specific strengths and situations where it works best, ranking them by overall power can be challenging.

However, we can evaluate guns based on some important factors, mainly affordability and versatility. These give us a good idea of how useful and strong each weapon is. For beginners, check out our starter loadout guide to get started quickly.

Overall Arc Raiders Gun Tier List

The following table shows the different weapon tiers and examples of guns in each category.

    Tier Weapons
S-tier – Starter: Ferro, Anvil, Il Toro
    – Midgame: Renegade, Arpeggio
    – Endgame: Vulcano
    A-tier – Starter: Kettle, Stitcher
    – Midgame: Venator, Torrente
    B-tier – Hairpin, Burletta, Rattler
    C-tier No specific weapons listed.

Note: Some weapons are highly situational or still untested due to their rarity.

    Highly Situational Weapons

    • Hullcracker: Designed to destroy large Arc robots like the Queen.
    • Equalizer: Also meant for taking down big Arc enemies like the Queen.

    Untested Weapons

    • Very rare guns such as Bobcat, Tempest, Bettina, Jupiter.

    S-Tier Weapons

This is a detailed look at the top weapons in the game.

    Ferro

The Ferro is widely regarded as the best starting weapon. It’s a bolt-action rifle that packs a punch, is affordable to upgrade, and simple to handle. It uses Heavy Ammo and is perfect for headshots and taking out Arc enemies, especially at mid to late game. Sometimes, it comes equipped with a free loadout.

    Image: Ferro gun

    Anvil

The Anvil is a powerful revolver that is user-friendly and often found in higher-tier areas. It shares similarities with the Ferro but shoots faster, although it’s a bit harder to aim. It is highly effective against Arc and enemies trying to fight you directly.

    Image: Anvil revolver

    Il Toro

The Il Toro shotgun is a common early-game find and excels at close range. Attaching a choke increases its effectiveness at medium distances. It’s ideal for tight spaces and high-loot buildings.

    Image: Il Toro shotgun

    Renegade

This mid-range weapon is extremely powerful. It’s harder to find but can be crafted once you reach level 2 Gunsmith. It has a rapid fire rate similar to a Ferro but with less damage per shot, destroying enemies quickly once upgraded.

    Image: Renegade rifle

    Arpeggio

Often overlooked, the Arpeggio is a burst-fire assault rifle. It’s decent at medium range and melts enemies with attachments. Better than the Ferro and more accurate than the Rattler, it offers versatility.

    Image: Arpeggio rifle

    Vulcano

A phenomenal shotgun, Vulcano combines the firepower of Il Toro but with twice the damage. It’s semi-automatic, allowing for rapid shots that melt targets at close range. Rarity makes it a valuable find.

    Image: Vulcano shotgun

    A-Tier Weapons

While still very good, these weapons don’t quite reach the top tier. They include:

    • Kettle: A strong starter weapon that becomes more lethal when upgraded with attachments, capable of shredding shields with semi-automatic fire.
    • Stitcher: An excellent close-range SMG that benefits greatly from extended magazines. It’s effective for armor-shredding and quick attacks.
    • Venator: A cheap secondary that fires two bullets at once. When equipped with attachments, it becomes versatile for surprising opponents.
    • Torrente: An LMG that deals substantial damage but is bulky and best used when crouching. It’s less agile but devastating at close to medium range.

Images of these weapons highlight their design and gameplay.

    B-Tier Weapons

    • Hairpin
    • Burletta
    • Rattler

These guns are decent but generally outperformed by higher-tier options.

In summary, the best weapons in Arc Raiders are those that balance power, ease of use, and situational versatility. The S-tier guns are recommended for most players striving for maximum efficiency, while the others provide options depending on your playstyle and available resources.

  • Where to Find Compass, Tape, and Rations in Broken Monument in Arc Raiders

As you complete different quests in Arc Raiders, you’ll become more familiar with each trader, and they’ll start giving you tougher tasks. Some of these quests require going to a specific place, collecting a certain loot, and then extracting with it all in the same run.

The Broken Monument is one example of these quests. In this task, you need to find a First Wave compass, a tape recorder, and rations, all located in the Scrap Yard area of the Dam Battlegrounds. These items can be tricky to locate, so here are the exact spots to check.

Where to Find the First Wave Compass

The compass is probably the hardest item to find because the instructions aren’t very clear. Before collecting anything for the Broken Monument quest, you must head to the Scrap Yard, which is south of the Research & Administration building in Dam Battlegrounds when you zoom in on the map.

Once you’re in the Scrap Yard, look for large metal pieces with wheels—these are not regular cars. Instead, they’re big metal chunks located just below where “Scrap” is marked on the map. Near these, you’ll find a box with a yellow interaction point that contains the compass.

When you search the boxes, make sure to pick up any items you find because they don’t automatically go into your inventory.

Where to Find the First Wave Tape

The tape recorder is easier to find. Head to the area between the Scrap Yard and its loot icons on the map. There, you’ll spot some shiny silver tubes. Stand next to the tube that isn’t fully resting on the ground, and you’ll find a box marked with a yellow interaction point containing the tape recorder.

Where to Find the First Wave Rations

The rations are a bit farther from the Scrap Yard. Move directly north from the Scrap Yard label on the map until you see a large tube-shaped structure, which is the raider shack.

Enter the shack and look inside for a yellow interaction box with the rations. After gathering all three items—compass, tape recorder, and rations—you need to extract with them to complete the quest. If you drop or lose any of these items, you’ll have to start the quest over.

Where to Find All Required Rooms for Completing Medical Merchandise in Arc Raiders

While your main goal in Arc Raiders is to loot items and upgrade your equipment, you also have a side task of completing quests for different traders in Speranza. These quests make up most of your progress in the game. However, many of these quests can be frustrating because they require you to reach specific locations.

One such quest is Medical Merchandise. It asks you to find three specific rooms or buildings on particular maps and search containers inside them. Once you know the routes to these rooms, getting there becomes much easier.

Where to find the medical room in Dam Battlegrounds

The first location for this quest is in the Research & Development building in Dam Battlegrounds, marked with a red boundary on the map’s lower middle area. Since this is a high-loot zone, expect to encounter many players. Luckily, if you follow the correct path, you won’t spend much time inside the building.

Start by heading to the southern edge of the building, near the red boundary. Find the stairs that lead to the top floor through a back entrance. Take these stairs up and go into the first room you see at the top. Exit through the door on your right.

Once you exit, turn left and go straight down the hallway. Be prepared for turrets and other enemies guarding the area, so be ready to fight. When you reach the hallway’s end, the medical room will be on your left. Search containers inside to complete this part of the quest.

Where to find the hospital in Buried City

This part is the easiest. The hospital is clearly visible on the Buried City map, marked with a red loot icon. Enter the building, which is easy to spot. Head upstairs and loot containers in any room. Loot three containers, and the quest step will be done.

Where to find the exam room in Spaceport

The last location is inside the Departure Building at Spaceport. It can be tricky because the exam room doesn’t look like an obvious medical room. To find it, enter the Departure Building through the main entrance. You’ll see a broken staircase leading up to the first floor.

Once there, turn around and walk straight down the hallway, then turn right into another corridor. In the darker section of this hallway with a roof overhead, look for an open room ahead. Enter this room, then go into the room on the left—the exam room.

The exam room is right next to a hospital room, making it easier to identify. Look for experiment benches with white chemical bottles in the center; that’s the key indicator. Once you locate it, you’ve found the final location for the Medical Merchandise quest.

  • Best Locations for Completing Cat Beds in Arc Raiders

Best Locations for Completing Cat Beds in Arc Raiders

In Arc Raiders, one of your best allies is a chicken named Scrappy. This bird helps by gathering basic resources such as Fabric and Chemicals while you explore and raid the wasteland. Just like workbenches, you can train Scrappy to level him up, which increases the amount of resources he collects.

To upgrade Scrappy, you’ll need a Cat Bed. Fortunately, finding a Cat Bed is easier than locating Olives and Prickly Pears, which are also used for leveling him up.

    ### Where to Find Cat Beds

If you’re hunting for Cat Beds, there are several good spots to check. Some of the top locations include:

    – Plaza Rosa, Santa Maria House, and Piazza Arbusto in Buried City
    – Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds
    – Village in The Blue Gate

I personally find the Village in The Blue Gate to be the most consistent place to get Cat Beds. This area is in the northwest part of the map and has many apartment buildings to search through. Every time I’ve looted this village, I’ve found at least one Cat Bed.

    > Keep in mind, The Blue Gate is a late-game area with tough ARC enemies. Make sure to stock up or bring a free kit if you’re planning to loot this map!

Another good option is Buried City, which is full of Residential and Commercial loot, making it a prime spot for finding valuable items and Cat Beds. I recommend exploring the south and southeast parts of the map because these areas have many buildings. Places around Plaza Rosa and Piazza Arbusto tend to yield the most Cat Beds.

However, Buried City can be chaotic and dangerous because it’s densely packed. You’re more likely to run into conflicts with patrolling ARCs and other players, especially near Santa Maria House where a Bastion might be hiding, making it more challenging to avoid fights.

Finally, the Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds are decent spots for Cat Beds. Located in the northwest corner of the map, this area isn’t marked as an official point of interest, so loot here can be hit or miss. The area is divided into several apartment buildings with many containers, bins, and cabinets that often hold useful items.

    > This part of the map tends to have fewer players and ARC patrols, making it perfect if you prefer to avoid fights.

Luckily, Cat Beds are classified as Uncommon loot, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding one. Just remember, when you join a session, the area might already be looted. If that happens, you can always extract from the map and try again. Sometimes luck isn’t on your side — I know the feeling of losing a gunfight and seeing someone loot my body.

  • Top Prickly Pear Spots in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving

Top Prickly Pear Spots in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving

When you first enter the Topside during a raid in Arc Raiders, you’ll be overwhelmed by the wide variety of loot you can find. These items have different rarity levels, but some items without a clear rarity are actually among the hardest to obtain.

Prickly Pears are a prime example. You need six of them to upgrade your Scrappy, and they can also be used to restore stamina during a raid. Depending on your luck, collecting these Pears could take hours, especially if you’re not sure where to look.

    How To Get Prickly Pears

To find Prickly Pears, you’ll want to focus on specific plants located in the Dam Battleground and Buried City maps. Unlike other resources, these plants don’t spawn in fixed spots; instead, they are scattered in small patches across these two maps.

Look for cactus-like plants with spiky leaves, which stand out from other flora. When you spot these plants, check the ground nearby — there’s a chance a Pear will be lying there. However, the spawn rate is low, so you might need to do several runs to find what you’re after. Also, keep in mind that another raider may have already collected them before you.

On low graphics settings, these cactus plants can resemble ordinary plants from a distance, so it’s important to get close for a proper look.

Best Locations To Get Prickly Pears

While cactus plants with Pears can be found all over both maps, some areas have larger groups, increasing your chances of finding them.

    Dam Battleground Prickly Pear Locations

There are two main spots in Dam Battleground for Prickly Pears:

    1. On the northern side of the map, to the left of Power Generation Complex. If you look at the map, you’ll see it near where the two main roads meet at the top.

    2. Just below the Research & Administration area, on the map’s southern side, once you exit the red line boundary.

    Buried City Prickly Pear Locations

Buried City offers better chances, with several good spots:

    1. A large cluster of cacti near the very southern edge of the map. Head south from the Old Town’s southernmost yellow boundary to find it.

    2. Another group is located on the eastern side near the spawn point.

    3. You can also find additional plants in the northeastern part of the map, close to some buildings.

  • Are Free Loadouts Worth Using in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving?

Are Free Loadouts Worth Using in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving?

Arc Raiders is a game where you play as a scavenger on an extraction mission. Your main task is to keep raiding Topside to gather as much loot as possible and upgrade your gear. But beware—if you get eliminated by an Arc or another player, especially early on, you’ll lose all the loot you’ve collected.

Losing all your gear means you won’t have anything to gear up for your next raid. That’s where free loadouts come into play. They give new players a chance to start fresh and succeed on the battlefield. Once you understand how to use them effectively, they can be a huge help.

How To Use a Free Loadout

Using a free loadout in Arc Raiders is simple. You don’t need to lose all your gear first. Start by hitting the play button on the main menu and choosing which map you want to enter.

After selecting the map, you’ll see a screen where you can customize your gear. Instead of adding items here, look for the “Free Loadout” option at the top of the screen and click it. This will take you to a preset loadout that includes only one augment, and you won’t be able to change anything. When you enter the game, the items from this loadout will automatically appear with you.

Note: Make sure there’s enough space in your stash for your main gear if you already have items equipped, as you’ll need room to start a free loadout.

What Do You Get in a Free Loadout?

A free loadout provides a basic, minimal set of items, but it can still be useful. Here’s what comes with it:

    • A basic augment that includes a slot for a light shield and can carry up to 35 weight. It does not have a safe pocket.
    • A light shield that’s fully durable.
    • One random gun, chosen from Stitcher I, Kettle I, or Ferro I.
    • Ammunition that matches the gun you receive.
    • Two bandages, one shield recharger, and a few random throwables.

Important: If you manage to escape with the free loadout, all the items, including the augment, can be added to your stash for future use.

When to Use a Free Loadout

You might think a free loadout is only for times when you’re out of your usual gear. But it can be useful even when you have some items left. Because it’s weaker than your custom loadouts, using a free loadout can be a good challenge when facing tougher maps. It’s especially helpful for newer players who want to test their skills without risking their best gear.

Additionally, some quests require moving across different areas on the map. Doing this with a full gear loadout can be risky. Starting with a free loadout allows you to complete these quests more safely, without risking valuable items.

  • Complete Guide to Every Method of Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

Complete Guide to Every Method of Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

An extraction shooter isn’t complete without a safe way to leave, and in Arc Raiders, you’ll find many options—if you can make it there fast enough. Every map has a fixed number of extraction spots, and once they’re gone or time runs out, you’re done for.

When you start a raid, your main goal is to find the extraction points and plan the best route to reach them while gathering supplies. You might risk death trying to get to the extraction or while you’re leaving, but that’s part of the danger every Raider faces on the surface.

On each map, you spawn at a random starting point, and you’ll have 30 minutes to do what you need before heading to an extraction point marked on the map with a downward arrow, a train car, or a fan symbol.

Extraction spots are usually elevators, train stations, or air shafts, depending on the map. Once there, you’ll need to find the console that calls the extraction to you:

    – Elevators are located at The Dam and the Spaceport. The console is just outside the elevator.
    – Train stations appear at The Buried City, with multiple entrances leading inside. The activation console is underground, against the gated train tracks.
    – Air shafts are at The Blue Gate, with the console directly outside the shaft.

In some cases, like at the train station, you might need to fight your way inside before activating the console, but this usually means fewer ARC enemies nearby.

Once you activate the console at the extraction point, a warning sound will alert nearby enemies and players that you’re calling for extraction. It takes about 15 seconds for the elevator or platform to open. You can then go inside and use a secondary console to leave early or wait for your teammates, which will automatically happen in two minutes.

If just one person enters the extraction point, the countdown begins, giving everyone else time to loot nearby enemies or gear before leaving. As long as one person uses that console, everyone inside can escape safely, so you don’t need all teammates to be there.

Besides the regular extraction spots, you can also use Raider Hatches, which don’t have a time limit and are safer. However, opening a hatch requires a Raider Hatch Key, which can be earned through quests like Hatch Repair or bought from Shani’s shop for 9,000 Credits once you’re level 12. Keeping a hatch key in your Safe Pocket is smart so you always have a safe exit, even if you die.

To use a Raider Hatch, find one on the map with the key in your inventory, approach its console, and interact to unlock it. The hatch opens immediately, allowing you to return to Speranza with all your gear without waiting for doors to close.

Because both ARC enemies and hostile players are likely to target you during extraction, it’s wise to find cover and wait there, especially if you’re solo. You can hide behind rocks, vehicles, chairs, walls, or debris at locations like The Dam, the Train Station, or The Blue Gate. This also helps you scout for enemies, signal your willingness to extract peacefully through emotes, or prepare for approaching machines.

To reduce risks, it’s recommended to eliminate nearby ARC enemies before calling the extraction, especially small, fast drones like Wasps and Hornets, while under cover. Clearing enemies early not only makes waiting safer but also lowers the chance of attracting more enemies with the warning sound. Be aware that fighting too much can leave you vulnerable to hostile Raiders, so weigh the risks.

Sometimes, it’s better to wait for others to go first. Since it takes about 30 to 45 seconds to get inside, activate the console, and close the doors, you can hide nearby and time your move just before the doors shut. Even if you are knocked down or caught off-guard, it’s possible to crawl into the extraction point if you’re close enough and haven’t bled out, earning the “Not Over Til It’s Over” achievement or trophy. Skills like “Downed But Determined” and “Crawl Before You Walk” boost your chances in these situations.

  • How to Upgrade Stations in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

How to Upgrade Stations in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

Arc Raiders, an extraction shooter, offers a variety of loot, items to craft, and multiple ways to craft them. The process is a bit simpler than some other games in the genre, but it still involves a lot to keep track of.

Most of the items you’ll regularly use are made at stations. Each station has a specific purpose and, except for the first one, all of them can be upgraded through three levels to unlock new crafting options.

There are seven different stations in Arc Raiders, each serving a unique function:

    | Station | Upgrade Materials | Usage |
    | — | — | — |
    | Workbench | N/A | Crafts anything you have a blueprint for—default or found. |
    | Gunsmith | Level One: 20 Metal Parts, 30 Rubber Parts | Crafts and upgrades weapons and weapon attachments. |
    | | Level Two: 3 Rusted Tools, 5 Mechanical Components, 8 Wasp Drivers | |
    | | Level Three: 3 Rusted Gears, 5 Advanced Mechanical Components, 4 Sentinel Firing Cores | |
    | Gear Bench | Level One: 25 Plastic Parts, 30 Fabric | Crafts Augments and Shields. |
    | | Level Two: 3 Power Cables, 5 Electrical Components, 5 Hornet Drivers | |
    | | Level Three: 5 Industrial Batteries, 3 Advanced Electrical Components, 3 Rollbot Parts | |
    | Explosives Station | Level One: (Materials not specified) | Crafts all types of explosives. |
    | | Level Two: 3 Synthesized Fuel, 5 Crude Explosives, 5 Pop Triggers | |
    | | Level Three: 3 Laboratory Reagents, 5 Explosive Compounds, 3 Rocketeer Drivers | |
    | Medical Lab | Level One: (Materials not specified) | Crafts health and shield healing gear. |
    | | Level Two: 2 Cracked Bioscanners, 5 Durable Cloths, 8 Tick Pods | |
    | | Level Three: 5 Rusted Shutter Medical Kits, 10 Antiseptics, 3 Bastion Parts | |
    | Refiner | Level One: 60 Metal Parts, 5 ARC Powercells | Converts basic resources into more advanced materials. |
    | | Level Two: 3 Toasters, 5 ARC Motion Cores, 8 Fireball Burners | |
    | | Level Three: 5 Motors, 20 ARC Motion Cores, 1 Queen Part | |
    | Utility Station | Level One: 50 Plastic Parts, 6 ARC Alloys | Crafts miscellaneous items like keys and Door Blockers. |
    | | Level Two: 2 Damaged Heat Sinks, 5 Electrical Components, 6 Snitch Scanners | |
    | | Level Three: 5 Friend Motherboards, 3 Advanced Electrical Components, 3 Bison Drivers | |

Upgrading stations requires specific materials. For example, upgrading the Medical Lab to the next level might involve various components like Bastion Parts or Antiseptics.

A helpful tip is to gather scrap early in the game, as it provides the materials needed for initial station upgrades. Prioritize crafting ammunition at the Workbench and healing items at the Medical Station as soon as possible. These are vital for survival in early gameplay.

The Gunsmith is also highly recommended to upgrade early because it significantly improves weapon performance during combat, giving you a substantial advantage.
