Select Language:

Saudi Arabia has extended the validity of all types of visas—including visit, Umrah, transit, and final exit—until April 18, 2026, to assist visitors stranded due to regional issues. The Ministry of Interior announced that individuals whose visas expired on or after February 25, 2026, and who couldn’t leave the country because of the current circumstances, are eligible for this extension. Visa holders are advised to go directly to departure points, where their exit procedures will be processed smoothly without needing pre-approvals. This service is offered free of charge for those choosing to depart immediately.

Many foreigners faced delays in departing due to ongoing conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, which disrupted regional air travel. Several nations shut down their airspace, and airlines halted services following Iran’s retaliatory strikes across Gulf countries.
