Ultimate Plan Locations for All Black Flag Resynced Missions

The Black Flag Resynced Ultimate Plans are the top ship upgrades available for the Jackdaw. They significantly boost the ship’s firepower, armor, and cargo capacity. It’s highly recommended to get these upgrades as soon as you can. The challenge is that the plans are scattered around the Caribbean in this version of Black Flag Resynced, so you’ll need to sail to various locations to find each one. To help you, I’ve listed every Ultimate Plan’s location below. Just remember, you can’t install these upgrades until you’ve upgraded the Harbormaster at Great Inagua to the maximum level and gathered the required materials.

How to unlock all Ultimate Plans in Black Flag Resynced

There are 12 Ultimate Plans for the Jackdaw. They are hidden in diving spots marked on the Diving Bell maps. The Diving Bell gets unlocked during the main quest “Diving For Medicines,” so you need to finish that quest first. All the locations are detailed below:

Round Shot Strength Ultimate Plan
- Find it in the Kabah Ruins, diving in the northern water currents. Reach the end of the underwater tunnel to find the plan in a treasure chest.
- Coordinates: 738, 120
Heavy Shot Strength Ultimate Plan
- Located on Ambergris Key (28, 160). Get the treasure map there and dig it up at Misteriosa (271, 178).
Fire Barrel Strength Ultimate Plan
- Found on Santanillas (191, 218). Use the treasure map to dig it up in San Juan (455, 462).
Mortar Strength Ultimate Plan
- Located in the Antocha Wreck, at (600, 636). It’s hidden in the southernmost chest in that area.
Swivel Guns Ultimate Plan
- Within the Devil’s Eye Caverns, at (456, 332). Swim through the tunnel to a small cavern with two chests; the plan is in one of these.
Broadside Cannons Number Ultimate Plan
- On the Blue Hole diving spot, at (437, 145). The plan is in a chest at the most northern end of a dead-end tunnel.
Ram Ultimate Plan
- Found in the La Concepcion Wreck at (147, 272), in the northern part of the shipwreck.
Hull Armor Ultimate Plan
- Located at (348, 745) in the San Ignacio wreck. Inside a chest in the far northeast corner.
Heavy Shot Storage Ultimate Plan
- Get the treasure map near Cayman Sound (298, 311). The plan itself is on Petite Caverne (863, 235), on dry land behind some rocks.
Fire Barrel Storage Ultimate Plan
- The map is at Petite Cavern (40, 372). Use the diving bell to reach and dig up the plan in the ruins behind the campfire.
Mortar Storage Ultimate Plan
- Located at (312, 617) behind a waterfall in Tortuga. The map is on a corpse at the northeast edge of the beach.
Harpoon Strength Ultimate Plan
- Found at (544, 693) on Andreas Island, on a tiny palm-covered island. Dig near the small cluster of three trees.

All these plans are crucial, especially for facing high-level threats like Black Flag Resynced Naval Convoys or Legendary Ships. Interestingly, elements like the rowboat armor and the front-facing weapons don’t require these Ultimate Plans for their final upgrade—the others, however, are essential for a fully enhanced Jackdaw.

Despite the scale of upgrades, many elements such as certain ship armor or weapon attachments can be upgraded without these Ultimate Plans, but completing them will give you the full power needed for endgame challenges.
