LEGO Batman is making its way to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, marking another legendary gaming character joining Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 with a big Gotham City update launching on September 3, 2026. The Fortnite update 42.10 brings new Dark Knight challenges, Batman-themed vehicles, Bat-Gadgets, and more exciting content.
According to the latest LEGO Fortnite Odyssey blog from the Fortnite development team, the event will run from September 3 to October 15. Players will need to assist Batman in tracking henchmen at various Gotham City locations, complete Batman quests, defeat enemies, and unlock new LEGO-themed rewards.
Starting September 3, use your journal to complete a series of LEGO Fortnite Odyssey quests over six weeks. These tasks differ from the usual Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 quests:
– Drop 1 (September 3 – September 30):
– Weeks 1 & 2: Finish quests and clear Gotham City areas to unlock the Batglider, Bat-Grapnel, and Batmobile.
– Catch-up Weeks:
– Weeks 3 & 4: Complete any remaining quests and earn pending rewards.
– Drop 2 (October 1 – October 15):
– Weeks 5 & 6: Finish additional quests to unlock The Bat and recruit Batman as a Villager with update 42.30. Make sure all quests are completed for recruitment.
After finishing all quests, The Bat and Batmobile will become accessible on October 1. The latest Fortnite update will also introduce new LEGO Batman-themed gadgets, such as the Bat-Grapnel and Bat-Signal, allowing players to traverse Gotham City with style.
New Gotham City-inspired locations will be added to the map for exploration, complete with the Batmobile or Batglider. These areas will be guarded by two new LEGO henchmen, Gotham Henchman Blaster and Gotham Henchman Slicer, who will challenge players and Batman to take them down.
This collaboration hints at Epic’s plans to expand their Gaming Legends-themed season beyond traditional battle royale gameplay. It’s possible we might see a Batman-themed LEGO Pass in future updates, similar to previous Gaming Legends seasons.
