The GTA Online Kortz Center Heist has just been announced, serving as the main feature of Rockstar’s summer update for this year. It’s the first official heist added since the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid came out over two years ago. This heist will likely be the last update for GTA Online before GTA 6 is released this November. There are several options now available to help you get ready for this new robbery, so here’s what we know about the Kortz Center Heist so far.
When will the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist begin?
Currently, we know the heist will arrive in GTA Online sometime in July as part of the summer update, but a specific date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Based on past years, summer update releases have varied. For example, past launch dates have been Tuesday, June 17, 2025; Tuesday, June 25, 2024; Tuesday, June 13, 2023; Tuesday, July 26, 2022; and Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Since the recent Fine Art Collector Program runs through July 13, it’s most probable that the heist will launch on Tuesday, July 14. Once there’s official confirmation, I’ll update this information.
What do we know about the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist?
The main detail so far is that to lead and plan this multi-stage heist, players must own a mansion in GTA Online. You’ll need one of the luxury homes to add an Art Studio and be able to start the heist solo or control the approach. However, players can still join heist missions led by others if they prefer not to lead.
To assist players, there’s currently a GTA$2,000,000 discount on Prix Luxury Real Estate for GTA+ members, and everyone can earn a 40% bonus in GTA$ on all Shark Card purchases. If you prefer not to spend your own money, Rockstar has launched a Fine Art Collector Program offering rewards including GTA$1,500,000 in cash.
What is the GTA Online Fine Art Collector Program?
This program is running until July 13 and serves to prepare players for the Kortz Center Heist. You can advance through different tiers of the program to earn rewards:
-
Tier 1 – Enthusiast: Play GTA Online before July 13 to earn GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo (Sedan) from Warstock Cache & Carry. This vehicle has armor and a roof-mounted Minigun for protection.
-
Tier 2 – Patron: Complete any heist before July 13 to receive GTA$1,000,000 and the NOOSE Outfit, which lets you go undercover as a special forces agent.
-
Tier 3 – Elitist: If you own a mansion and play before July 13, you unlock rewards when the heist launches, including a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio Mansion upgrade needed for the heist, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter from Warstock, a sculpture, and the chance to add a unique painting to your mansion décor.
Rewards for Enthusiast and Patron tiers are typically given within 72 hours of completing the requirements, while Elitist rewards are unlocked once the heist is available in July.
