Sony revealed four upcoming titles for PS Plus Extra and Premium in early June during the PlayStation State of Play. While three of these are PlayStation 2 classics exclusive to Premium members, Extra subscribers aren’t missing out—they’ll receive a substantial launch-day bonus.
The most notable news announced is the arrival of RuneScape on consoles. The popular MMORPG’s new installment, RuneScape Dragonwilds, is set to launch on PS5 in 2026 and will be accessible through the PS Plus Extra library right from day one.
Jagex commented in a press release, “RuneScape has thrived over the past 25 years as a leading icon in the MMORPG genre. Introducing Dragonwilds, with its blend of crafting, survival elements, and that signature RuneScape feel, to new platforms like PlayStation 5 aims to bring its magic to a broader audience worldwide.”
Additionally, three classic PS2 titles will be making their way to PS5 and PS4, all of which players will also have the option to buy separately. The games are as follows:
– Gitaroo Man, available June 16
– Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, arriving July 28
– Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, launching August 25
It’s now clear that Premium members should expect roughly one classic game each month, while the new additions continue to enrich the service for both Extra and Premium users.
