Pokemon Go Update: Introducing Dynamax Entei

The popular mobile game Pokemon Go is set to enhance its roster with the introduction of Dynamax Pokemon—larger and more formidable versions of standard Pokemon. This month, players will see the addition of Entei, a powerful Legendary Pokemon.

Players will have the chance to battle Dynamax Entei in a special Max Battle. This will be the primary way to obtain Dynamax Entei for your collection. Below, you’ll find all the necessary information about the new Legendary, including event details and effective strategies for battle.

Dynamax Entei Max Battle Weekend

Dynamax Entei will debut during the Dynamax Entei Battle Weekend, taking place from Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 6 AM local time to Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 9 PM local time.

There will also be several exciting bonuses available for all players during this weekend, including:

  • The limit for collecting Max Particles will increase to 1,600.
  • Players will receive eight times the Max Particles from Power Spots.
  • Power Spots will refresh more quickly.

  • It will require 25% fewer Max Particles to power up and unlock Max Moves.
