Where To Find Raikou, Entei, and Suicune in Pokemon Pokopia: Completing & Solving

Every Legendary Pokémon in the Pokémon series has its own story explaining why they are considered special enough to become part of folklore. Among these stories, the legends of the Johto Legendary Dogs—Raikou, Entei, and Suicune—stand out for their captivating tales. Each has its own myth and fan theories that expand on their heroic deeds, making them an essential part of Pokémon lore.

It makes sense that these Legendary Dogs are some of the few Legendary Pokémon featured in Pokémon Pokopia. They aren’t encountered in the usual way, but once you know where to look, they’re not too difficult to find. With a bit of knowledge, here’s what you need to know to discover them.

    ## How to Find Raikou, Entei, and Suicune in Pokémon Pokopia

The three Legendary Dogs are found through similar methods, with a few key differences. First, a quick note: Raikou is a guaranteed encounter in the main story at Bleak Beach. This will add Raikou to your Pokédex, but it won’t automatically add it to your village. To befriend Raikou, and eventually encounter Entei and Suicune, you need to visit different Dream Islands. These Pokémon don’t appear every time, but if you explore carefully, you might find their hidden dens, typically marked as caves with differently colored walls indicating a Pokémon’s presence.

When you arrive at these caves, open your Pokédex and use the search filter set to “All, Location: This Area.” If a question mark appears, it indicates a Legendary is nearby. Raikou can be found on Pikachu Island, Entei on Arcanine Island, and Suicune on Eevee Island.

Since the Legendary Dogs don’t have regular habitats, they can be placed in tall grass once they’re back in your village.

    ## How to Unlock Dream Islands

To access the Dream Islands, you first need to reach a Dream Island itself. The process involves befriending Drifloon in the Withered Wastelands, which float near the coast by the bridge to Palette Town. Build a habitat with three lit campfires and find the nearby Poké Doll across the wasteland. As you progress, you’ll unlock more Poké Dolls from rewards and the shop. When visiting Eevee’s, Pikachu’s, or Arcanine’s islands, be sure to look for hidden hideouts to locate the Legendary Dogs.

Note: The Legendary Dogs aren’t available on Dream Islands until after you meet Raikou at Bleak Beach during the main storyline.

    ## What Do You Get for Catching Raikou, Entei, and Suicune?

Besides having these majestic Pokémon as residents in your village, catching all three rewards you with the recipe for a Clear Bell. This item is needed to befriend Ho-Oh, which you can read more about elsewhere. Once you have all three Legendary Dogs, they’ll also be housed in your village’s Tall Grass, making it easier to keep them close.
