“Eternights is a dating action game that merges a romance narrative with fast-paced combat, as you strive to make the most out of life amidst the apocalypse,” an official description states. “One day, an event or a figure transforms humans into dangerous monsters. Now, all they crave is violence and dominance. They’re the obstacle between you, a cure, and the world you envision.”
While critics have given mixed reviews, players seem to enjoy the game more. On the PlayStation Store, it maintains a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars based on nearly 3,000 verified votes. On Steam, it has achieved a “very positive” rating.
The PS5 version of Eternights earned a Metacritic score of 68 out of 100, whereas the PC version received a higher score of 75 out of 100.
