Hidden: Games Vanishing from PlayStation Portal Cloud Library

Over the weekend, numerous PS5 games were unexpectedly removed from the PS Portal cloud streaming catalog. While Sony’s terms of service permit the company to add or remove titles from the PS Portal library at their discretion, this mass removal—including some of Sony’s first-party titles—seems unlikely to be intentional.

A system glitch appears to be the probable cause behind PS5 games vanishing from the PS Portal’s direct cloud streaming library. Over the past day or two, multiple Reddit threads have emerged from users expressing concern. Many had purchased the PS Portal, which now allows streaming of purchased games without a PS5 console.

Ghost of Yotai, a first-party game, has been unavailable for streaming for the last three days—even though its PlayStation Store page indicates it’s playable via streaming on both PS5 and PS Portal. Other titles that have suddenly disappeared include Madden NFL 27, Cities Skylines, Octopath Traveler II, Ready or Not, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and a few more.

Some players have reached out to PlayStation Support, only to be told these games are no longer part of the PS Portal streaming lineup. However, it’s suspected this information might be inaccurate, and a technical glitch on Sony’s side could be affecting certain titles. Updates will be provided once more information becomes available.
