The highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 Aliens game is finally set for release on the PS5. Titled Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, this cooperative third-person shooter is developed by Cold Iron Studios and published by Daybreak Game Company.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch on August 25, 2026. The standard edition will be available for $49.99, while the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition will be priced at $69.99. In addition to the game itself, the premium bundle includes several exclusive content packs:
– Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack – Featuring a unique cosmetic outfit inspired by Ellen Ripley’s look during the climax of the 1986 film Aliens. All player characters can don this outfit, making a visual nod to one of cinema’s most legendary figures. Players can also access Ripley’s customized pulse rifle, which adds a fiery element and allows further personalization with decals and more.
– Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack – Inspired by an over-the-top comic-book hero, this pack includes a wild outfit suited for tackling xenomorph threats and other challenges. It also features an exclusive weapon, Herk Mondo’s heavily modified pulse rifle, along with decals and other customization options to help characters stand out.
