Giant Sparrow’s What Remains of Edith Finch, released in 2017, is now just $5 on the PlayStation Store. That’s a 75% reduction from its original $19.99 price, reaching a new low for the game. To take advantage of this deal, players must purchase before July 30, 2026.
The game was later brought to the PS5 in 2022, five years after its debut. Developed by Giant Sparrow, it centers on seventeen-year-old Edith Finch, the last remaining member of her family, who returns to her ancestral home for the first time in seven years.
Players explore the Finch family house, gradually uncovering its intriguing and often unsettling history—what led to its decline and the tragic events within. When it launched, the game received widespread critical praise for its storytelling, character development, and visual presentation. It garnered numerous award nominations and took home the Best Narrative award at The Game Awards 2017, among other honors.
