Superstar Justin Bieber has recently reintroduced the name of the late young musician Alexandros Apostolopoulos, son of Lebanese artist Nora Rahal, into the public eye. This came after Bieber incorporated a musical piece composed by Alex into a promotional campaign for his own eyewear brand, SKYLRK.
Bieber shared a promotional clip for his SKYLRK Speed Demon sunglasses, which feature interchangeable lenses, on his official Instagram account. The video showcased him wearing the glasses, with the background music being an original composition by the late Alex.
The post received widespread attention from audiences across the Arab world and internationally, who regarded it as a heartfelt homage to the talent of a young artist who tragically passed away too soon.
On June 29, Nora Rahal announced the death of her eldest son, Alex, 24, through a social media post. She described his passing as the result of a tragic accident. Rahal expressed her faith, stating, “Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. With complete faith and hope in the resurrection of Christ, I say farewell to my beloved son and angel, Alex, entrusting him into the Lord’s hands.”
