A cherished RPG series for PS Vita and PS4 is making its way to the PS5 in a comprehensive package that delivers remarkable value. Blue Reflection Quartet, developed by Gust and Koei Tecmo, includes the 2017 Vita title Blue Reflection, its sequel Second Light, and two additional titles making their debut on console for the first time.
PS5 gamers will enjoy the Blue Reflection RPG series bundled together for $49.99, which comprises the following titles alongside Blue Reflection (2017) and Blue Reflection: Second Light (2021):
– Blue Reflection: Ray – An anime-driven story centered on magical Reflectors who clash over divergent beliefs and emotions. This game offers a streamlined narrative with the main characters depicted in 3D. Players follow Hiori and Ruka as they navigate the Common, re-exploring their memories en route to confronting a student from another academy attempting to recreate the world. Additional short stories expand on the anime’s plot, while a new prologue and epilogue link this installment to the wider series.
– Blue Reflection: Sun – Originally a mobile game that depicted a team of students in a dying world holding onto hope for a better future, Sun has been remade for consoles. Using the gameplay systems developed in Blue Reflection: Second Light, it recreates the memorable battles from the original. The package includes 24 new character events, alongside the main storyline, with the original prologue and epilogue tying this part into the series’ broader narrative.
– Reference – An extensive database providing deeper insights into the Blue Reflection universe. It features chronological flowcharts of major story events, character relationship diagrams across the series, and a gallery showcasing official artwork by Mel Kishida.
The Blue Reflection Quartet launches on July 30, 2026. Pre-orders are now available on the PlayStation Store and come with exclusive bonuses, including:
– Four special photo frames for use in Photo Mode in Second Light
– A free limited-time bonus: the Special Photo Frame – Quartet, available at no cost until August 12
