Completing the Decision: Kill Yourself or War in Tainted Grail?

With countless places to explore in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, it’s easy to find yourself disoriented or caught in an unexpected predicament. We’re here to guide you through the perilous terrains, including the Forlorn Swords, so you can earn new rewards and fulfill various questlines.

As you rise through the ranks of the Children of Morrigan, you’ll unveil a plethora of secrets and intrigues that shape Avalon and Kamelot. With some assistance, you might even connect with the goddess herself and influence the destiny of her followers. Here’s what you need to know to locate the Crow’s Nest.

    Finding the Crow’s Nest

Your next mission from Self, your mentor, is to find the large Corax nest within the Forlorn Swords. Your main objective is to rest in the nest and face whatever challenges arise.

To get to the nest, navigate to the southern part of the Forlorn Swords, where a massive sword stretches over a deep chasm. You’ll need to carefully cross the slender edge of the blade to reach the nest perched on top.

Circumnavigate the nest and ascend the branches to enter the Corax’s abode, then settle down in the nest for some sleep. You’ll awaken in a strange place alongside two lifeless crows, who will challenge you to face another Fledgling: Luth.

Unfortunately, there’s no escaping this. You’ll need to defeat Luth.

Ask any questions you may have, then slay your fellow Fledgling, Luth. There’s no time to loot; you must exit the Darkness and return to Self in Morrigan’s Hollow. You can either confront her about what you experienced or proceed as usual.

In either case, she will inform you of your next assignment: to speak with War himself. Head to the altar inside the hollow and interact with it to access War’s throne room and engage him in conversation.

You might find him familiar! War is Vidar from the Spread Your Wings quest and will have some intriguing dialogue for you.

War will let you know that you have a critical choice to make, but first, you need to locate Morrigan in the Corax Nest.

    Finding Morrigan

The Corax is the massive flying creature you’ve noticed in Avalon since you washed ashore after the shipwreck. To access the nest, return to the Forlorn Swords and cross the sword above the chasm once more.

Climb into the nest to meet the goddess Morrigan herself. She has bestowed upon you not only her presence but also a choice. You must decide the fate of the Children of Morrigan: should they embrace the shadows or finally step into the light and rise to conquer Avalon?

Should You Choose Self or War?

Self tells you that the will of Morrigan must be fulfilled in the hollow.

Express your thoughts to Morrigan, but the real decision comes when you return to War to inform him of your decision. Whichever side you commit to will survive, while you will be compelled to eliminate the other in Morrigan’s name.

Here’s what transpires based on whether you side with Self or War:

    • Siding with Self

If you decide to ally with Self and embrace the shadows, maintaining the traditional path of the Children of Morrigan, you’ll need to deliver that message to War. In response, he will accuse you of deceit regarding Morrigan’s will and attack.

You can persuade him that he’s the true blasphemer, but the outcome remains unchanged.

After defeating him and bestowing an honorable death, return to Self in the hollow. In gratitude, they’ll reward you with your own set of Crow armor and a promotion as they continue to lead the Children of Morrigan from safety.

    • Siding with War

If you choose to ally with War, he will send you to confront Self. You can eliminate her without triggering the hostility of others if you proceed stealthily, but you cannot warn Self in advance.

Feel free to engage with the other Children of Morrigan, as they are merely bandits.

Once Self is defeated, the quest concludes, and you can search her remains for a set of Crow armor and branded skin that can be exchanged for a bounty. Following this, War will be able to lead the Children of Morrigan as he initially intended, as Vidar mentioned at the start.

Whichever path you choose, the questline wraps up, and you are now a full-fledged Crow among the Children of Morrigan. Best of luck! May your choices honor the goddess.

Boeing Aircraft Heads Back to China as Tariff Tensions Dwindle

Sure! Here’s a rewritten version of the content in American English:

SEOUL: A brand new Boeing 737 MAX arrived back in China on Monday, according to flight tracking data, signaling that the American aircraft manufacturer is resuming deliveries to Chinese clients as trade tensions between Beijing and Washington begin to cool.

Boeing had frozen deliveries of new aircraft to China in April amid escalating tariffs between the two largest economies in the world. However, the company announced at the end of May that deliveries would restart in June after a temporary 90-day reduction of those tariffs.

The aircraft, adorned with Xiamen Airlines’ colors, touched down at Boeing’s Zhoushan facility near Shanghai after departing from Seattle on Saturday, making refueling stops in Hawaii and Guam along the way.

Tracking data shows that Boeing initially transported the plane to Zhoushan in March, but it returned to the U.S. in mid-April when Chinese airlines ceased accepting new Boeing deliveries.

Neither Boeing, Xiamen Airlines, nor the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) responded immediately to requests for comments.

China accounts for approximately 10% of Boeing’s commercial aircraft backlog and constitutes a crucial and expanding market for aviation.

On Monday, representatives from both the U.S. and China will meet in London to discuss potential trade agreements.

In April, Boeing repatriated at least three 737 MAX jets to the U.S. from Zhoushan, where they were undergoing final preparations for delivery to Chinese airlines; the first of these jets was the one that landed on Monday.

Boeing had previously noted that its Chinese customers were unable to accept new aircraft because of the tariffs and considered reselling a number of these planes. However, the company opted not to send these aircraft to other markets despite desires to reduce its inventory.

Chinese authorities have not disclosed specifics as to why Boeing’s deliveries halted, but they indicated that both Chinese airlines and Boeing have faced severe impacts due to tariffs imposed by the U.S.

In April, Boeing indicated that it had planned to deliver 50 jets to Chinese airlines in the remainder of the year, with 41 already under production or completed.

Russia and Ukraine Intensify Conflict Ahead of Peace Talks

    • Ukraine launches strikes on Russia’s nuclear-capable bombers.
    • Seven dead, 69 injured in Bryansk, per Russian reports.
    • Russia executes largest drone assault of the ongoing conflict.

As peace negotiations approached, both Ukraine and Russia intensified their military actions, engaging in one of the largest drone clashes to date. This included the destruction of a Russian highway bridge over a passenger train and a daring strike against nuclear-capable bombers located deep in Siberia.

After days of speculation about Ukraine’s participation, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Defense Minister Rustem Umerov would meet with Russian representatives for the second round of direct peace talks in Istanbul on Monday.

The initial round, held over a week ago, resulted in the largest prisoner exchange of the conflict, yet there was no indication of a mutual agreement to cease hostilities.

Amid ongoing discussions about peace, the violence persisted. At least seven individuals lost their lives, and 69 were injured when a highway bridge in the Bryansk region of Russia—adjacent to Ukraine—collapsed onto a passenger train en route to Moscow, carrying 388 people. No group has claimed responsibility for this incident.

On Sunday, Ukrainian forces targeted Russian long-range bombers equipped to carry nuclear weapons at a military site located exceptionally far from the front lines, over 4,300 km (2,670 miles) away, as reported by a Ukrainian intelligence official. This marked the first such operation at such a distant location from the active conflict zones.

The operation involved concealing drones packed with explosives inside wooden sheds and transporting them close to the air bases using trucks. According to the official, 41 Russian aircraft were impacted in this strike.

The Russian defense ministry later confirmed on Telegram that Ukraine had executed drone strikes against military airfields across five regions. It noted that while most attacks were successfully thwarted, two areas—Murmansk in the far north and Irkutsk in Siberia—sustained damage, resulting in multiple aircraft igniting. Fortunately, the fires were extinguished without any reports of casualties, although some suspects linked to the attacks were detained.

Overnight, Russia launched an unprecedented 472 drones at Ukraine, marking the highest nightly total recorded in the conflict, along with seven missile strikes.

According to Russian claims, forces advanced into the Sumy region of Ukraine, while open-source pro-Ukrainian maps indicated that Russia gained control of 450 square kilometers of Ukrainian land in May, representing its most rapid advance in at least six months.

U.S. President Donald Trump has called for a resolution between Russia and Ukraine, threatening to withdraw U.S. support if an agreement is not reached. This move would likely place the onus of Ukrainian support on European nations, which generally possess fewer financial resources and less military equipment than the U.S.

Trump envoy Keith Kellogg indicated that both parties would present their proposals for peace while acknowledging that, after three years of relentless conflict, significant gaps remain between the two sides.

In February 2022, following eight years of confrontation in Eastern Ukraine between Russian-backed separatists and Ukrainian forces, President Putin ordered a massive invasion of Ukraine. The U.S. estimates that more than 1.2 million lives have been lost or altered due to the war since then.

Although Trump has criticized Putin, labeling him as “crazy,” he has also acknowledged Zelensky’s efforts. He remains optimistic that a peaceful solution is possible and suggested that delaying negotiations could result in strict sanctions against Russia.

Last June, Putin outlined his initial terms for an immediate cessation of hostilities, which included Ukraine renouncing its aspirations for NATO membership and withdrawing all troops from the four Ukrainian regions claimed and largely held by Russia.

According to a draft seen by Reuters, Ukrainian delegates at the upcoming Istanbul talks would lay out a possible roadmap for a durable peace, emphasizing that no military restrictions would be placed on Ukraine after a peace settlement, no global acknowledgment of Russian sovereignty over occupied Ukrainian regions, and a demand for reparations to Ukraine.

The proposed document also indicated that the current positions of the front lines would serve as a baseline for discussions about territorial disputes.

Currently, Russia controls just under 20% of Ukraine, accounting for approximately 113,100 square kilometers—an area comparable to the size of Ohio.

In a surprising and honest acknowledgment, senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy stated that Pakistan successfully downed five Indian Air Force jets during a recent confrontation.

In a recent interview, Swamy explained that the Indian aircraft were overpowered in aerial combat due to Pakistan employing Chinese fighter jets that outperformed New Delhi’s French-made aircraft.

“Pakistan managed to shoot down five of our aircraft. They utilized Chinese jets to accomplish this, while ours were French-made,” Swamy stated. “Though the Chinese jets were effective, our French ones didn’t meet our expectations. The Rafale jets are not suitable for India’s requirements,” he criticized.

Furthermore, he made strong allegations regarding corruption tied to the contentious Rafale deal, suggesting that it would go uninvestigated as long as Modi remains Prime Minister. “There was corruption in the Rafale deal that won’t see any investigation while Modi is in power,” he asserted.

On the issue of accountability within the Indian administration, Swamy noted that under the current leadership, a transparent investigation into the loss of the aircraft seems improbable. “With Modi at the helm, discussions or inquiries surrounding how and why those jets were shot down are unlikely,” he remarked.

Pope Leo XIV Proposes Peace Talks Between Russia and Ukraine at the Vatican

ROME: Pope Leo XIV has extended an invitation to mediate peace talks between Russia and Ukraine at the Vatican.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni confirmed the Pope’s willingness to assist in facilitating discussions aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict after a conversation with him. She expressed that the Pope is eager to bring both parties together and work towards a peaceful resolution to the war.

Meloni reached out to the Pope following a phone call on Monday between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to her office. After the call, President Trump engaged with several European leaders, including Meloni, where he underscored the Pope’s readiness to host the talks.

On Tuesday, Meloni had a discussion with the Pope, where he reiterated his commitment to holding upcoming negotiations at the Vatican. She expressed her gratitude to the Pope for his steadfast dedication to peace.

That same day, Meloni also spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and various other international leaders to ensure continued coordination in pursuit of peace talks.

Despite recent initiatives aimed at resolving the conflict that has persisted since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, there have been no significant breakthroughs, and Putin has dismissed Kyiv’s proposals for a ceasefire.

Last week, Pope Leo XIV offered the Vatican as a platform for mediation during a meeting with representatives of Eastern Christian Churches.

    • Trump expresses optimism about ending the Ukraine conflict.
    • Russia insists on Ukraine’s neutrality and exclusion from NATO.
    • European nations and Britain ready to deploy peacekeepers if a ceasefire is established.

WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump announced plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday to explore possibilities for ending the war in Ukraine, following constructive discussions between U.S. and Russian officials in Moscow.

“Our goal is to see if we can put an end to this war,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on a flight from Florida back to Washington. “There’s a chance we can succeed.”

“I will have a conversation with President Putin on Tuesday. A significant amount of progress has been made over the weekend.”

Trump aims to secure Putin’s backing for a 30-day ceasefire proposal that Ukraine accepted last week, even as both countries continued to engage in heavy aerial strikes over the weekend. Meanwhile, Russia is progressing in its attempts to dislodge Ukrainian forces from their established positions in the western Russian region of Kursk.

There was no immediate response from the Kremlin to Reuters’ request for comment.

Last Friday, the Kremlin indicated that Putin had sent Trump a message regarding the ceasefire plan through U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff during talks in Moscow, conveying “cautious optimism” about reaching an agreement to end the three-year conflict.

In separate appearances on U.S. television on Sunday, Witkoff, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Trump’s national security adviser, Mike Waltz, highlighted that several obstacles remain before Russia would agree to a ceasefire, let alone a comprehensive peace settlement.

When asked on ABC if the U.S. would consider a peace deal allowing Russia to retain portions of eastern Ukraine that it has claimed, Waltz responded, “Are we expected to drive every Russian from every inch of Ukrainian territory?” He emphasized that negotiations need to be grounded in “reality.”

Rubio mentioned on CBS that a final peace agreement will require “significant effort, with concessions from both Russia and Ukraine,” and that initiating those negotiations would be challenging “while the fighting continues.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated last Friday that he sees a favorable opportunity to conclude the ongoing Russian aggression after Kyiv endorsed the U.S. suggestion for a temporary 30-day ceasefire.

Nevertheless, Zelenskiy has consistently maintained that Ukraine’s sovereignty is non-negotiable and that Russia must relinquish the territories it has annexed. Since its invasion in 2022, Russia has seized control of Crimea and significant parts of four eastern Ukrainian regions.

    Russia’s Demands for Guarantees

Russia will seek “ironclad” guarantees in any peace agreement, specifically that NATO nations agree to exclude Ukraine from membership and that Ukraine remains neutral, according to remarks from a Russian deputy foreign minister published on Monday.

In an extensive interview with the Russian news outlet Izvestia, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko did not mention the ceasefire proposal but reiterated that any lasting peace deal concerning Ukraine must meet Moscow’s conditions.

“We will insist that unyielding security guarantees be included in this agreement,” Izvestia reported Grushko stating.

“Part of these assurances should include Ukraine’s neutral status and a commitment from NATO countries to prevent Ukraine’s admission into the alliance.”

Putin has maintained that his military intervention in Ukraine was provoked by NATO’s eastward expansion, which he views as a threat to Russia’s security. He has demanded that Ukraine abandon its aspirations for NATO membership, that Russia retains control of all territories it has taken, and that the size of the Ukrainian military be restricted. He also seeks the easing of Western sanctions and the scheduling of presidential elections in Ukraine, which Kyiv argues is premature during martial law.

    Peacekeepers’ Involvement

Trump, having altered U.S. policy to align more closely with Moscow, has described Ukraine as more challenging to deal with than Russia. He had an intense discussion with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy last month that ended with Zelenskiy departing the White House prematurely.

However, Ukraine’s approval of the proposed ceasefire now places the responsibility on Russia to comply with Trump’s requests, putting the U.S. president’s more favorable perception of Putin to the test.

Ukraine’s allies in Europe and Britain emphasized that any ceasefire and eventual peace agreement must involve Ukraine in the negotiations.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer mentioned on Saturday that Western allies, besides the U.S., are ramping up preparations to support Ukraine if a ceasefire with Russia is achieved, with military leaders set to finalize “robust plans” in the coming week.

Britain and France have both indicated their readiness to send peacekeeping forces to monitor any ceasefire in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russia has dismissed the idea of deploying peacekeepers until the conflict concludes.

“It doesn’t matter what name NATO troops would go by on Ukrainian territory—whether as part of the European Union, NATO, or under national flags,” Grushko stated. “If they appear, it means they would be in the conflict zone, bearing all consequences as participants in the conflict.”

“We can discuss deploying unarmed observers, or a civilian mission designed to oversee the implementation of certain aspects of the agreement, or guarantee mechanisms. Until then, that’s all just rhetoric,” he added.

French President Emmanuel Macron commented on Sunday that the deployment of peacekeeping troops in Ukraine is a matter for Kyiv to decide, not Moscow.

  • 70% of Europeans Favor Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine Support

70% of Europeans Favor Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine Support

Unwavering European Support for Ukraine: A Detailed Analysis

As the ongoing conflict in Ukraine continues to impact millions, European leaders have reinforced their commitment to supporting the nation and its people. Interestingly, this political resolve is paralleled by a strong sentiment among EU citizens, as revealed by the latest Eurobarometer survey conducted in late 2024.

    The Eurobarometer Survey: An Overview

The Eurobarometer is a vital tool for gauging public opinion within the European Union. Conducted on behalf of the European Commission, this EU-wide poll reflects the attitudes of citizens towards various issues, including current geopolitical crises. In light of the war in Ukraine, the results from the October and November 2024 survey provide insight into the public’s stance on support for Ukraine, revealing steep levels of backing for humanitarian, financial, and military assistance.

    Key Findings from the Survey

    Humanitarian Aid: A Compassionate Response

A significant finding from the Eurobarometer survey is the overwhelming support for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. With approximately 7 million Ukrainians having fled their homes since the onset of the war, EU citizens recognize the urgent need for assistance. The survey illustrates a collective empathy towards the plight of displaced individuals and the broader ramifications of the conflict.

Sanctions Against Russia: A Unified Stance

The poll also indicates that Europeans are in favor of imposing sanctions on Russia and its associated enterprises. This reflects a widespread consensus on holding aggressors accountable for their actions, as EU citizens understand the importance of a united front in international relations. The support for sanctions not only signifies a political stance but also highlights the moral imperative that many citizens feel regarding the ongoing crisis.

Financial Support for Ukraine: A Call for Action

One of the most striking results from the Eurobarometer is the support for providing financial aid to Ukraine, with nearly 70% of respondents backing this measure. This strong endorsement indicates that many Europeans believe in investing in Ukraine’s resilience and recovery. The continuous financial backing is seen as essential for the country to navigate the challenges posed by war and to rebuild in the aftermath.

    EU-Candidate Status: A Long-term Perspective

In addition to financial aid, the survey reveals that 60% of EU citizens support granting EU-candidate status to Ukraine. This finding underscores the long-term vision that many Europeans share for Ukraine’s path toward integration with the European Union. Granting candidate status could serve as a crucial step in solidifying Ukraine’s ties with Europe and fostering a sense of stability in the region.

Military Assistance: A Divided Yet Favorable Opinion

The question of whether Europe should provide military equipment to Ukraine yielded a positive response from 58% of the 26,525 survey respondents. Support for military assistance highlights the complexities surrounding Europe’s involvement in Ukraine’s defense. While a majority supports such measures, there remains a nuanced debate on the implications and responsibilities that come with military aid.

    The Evolving Landscape of Support

The current landscape of support for Ukraine is particularly significant as the United States reevaluates its levels of assistance. European nations are facing the pressing necessity of ramping up their efforts to assist Ukraine, especially as the EU prepares to furnish a substantial defense package. This shifting dynamic suggests that Europe may play a more prominent role in Ukraine’s defense strategy in the future.

    Budgetary Considerations and Economic Implications

As European countries gear up to provide increased support to Ukraine, the financial ramifications are likely to be substantial. The anticipated defense package could have lasting impacts on the budgets and economic conditions of Ukraine’s European allies. Such adjustments will necessitate careful planning to manage public resources while ensuring continued support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and recovery efforts.

Through the insights gained from the Eurobarometer survey, it is evident that a significant portion of the European population stands firmly behind Ukraine, reflecting a broader commitment to humanitarian values and international solidarity. As the situation evolves, this support may shape the future of European politics and diplomatic relations within the region.

    Understanding International Aid to Ukraine

In recent times, the geopolitical landscape has dramatically shifted, especially in Eastern Europe. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has prompted many countries to step forward with significant contributions aimed at bolstering the Ukrainian economy and military. This blog explores the aid landscape and highlights the nations that are leading the charge in supporting Ukraine.

The Scale of Aid: A Snapshot

Data from the Ukraine Support Tracker at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy provides critical insights into aid flows to Ukraine. As of December 31, the allocations from various countries paint a picture of varying levels of commitment:

    • United States: Almost $120 billion
    • EU Institutions: Less than $60 billion

This disparity highlights the robust support from the U.S., often leading the conversation on international assistance to Ukraine.

Major Contributors: A Look at National Contributions

Germany and the United Kingdom: Leaders in Aid

Germany and the United Kingdom have emerged as the biggest supporters of Ukraine, providing substantial financial and military aid. Notably, Germany has committed approximately 0.4% of its 2021 GDP, while the UK has surpassed this with around 0.9% of its GDP earmarked for wartime assistance.

France and Italy: The Lagging Heavyweights

While France and Italy are major European economies, their support has not matched the scale of their counterparts. They have committed only about 0.2% and 0.1% of their GDP, respectively. This raises questions about the perceived responsibilities of larger economies in times of crisis.

    Smaller Nations Making Significant Contributions

Interestingly, smaller countries like Denmark and the Netherlands are proving that size does not equate to impact. They rank as Ukraine’s seventh and eighth-largest donors, showcasing both relative and absolute support despite having much smaller economies compared to France and Italy.

Types of Aid Delivered to Ukraine

The aid directed to Ukraine encompasses a range of support types:

    Financial Support

This includes loans and grants that assist with immediate economic stabilization and longer-term recovery opportunities.

    Humanitarian Aid

Essential supplies such as food, medicine, and shelter support the civilian population that has been affected by the war.

    Military Assistance

A significant portion of the aid is dedicated to military support, which includes financial contributions tied to military purposes and the provision of weapons and equipment. This aspect is crucial for Ukraine to maintain its defense against ongoing threats.

    Trends in Aid Commitment

Overall, the aid flows to Ukraine are constant, albeit slow. The evolving dynamics of international aid reflect not only the urgency of the situation but also the complex interplay of national interests and global political strategy.

By understanding the details surrounding aid to Ukraine, we can appreciate the larger context of international relations at play.

  • Android 16 Fights Against Ugly App Stretching And Letterboxing

Android 16 Fights Against Ugly App Stretching And Letterboxing

Google has released the first beta of Android 16, which is now available for developers and tech enthusiasts looking to explore new features on their compatible Pixel devices. While there aren’t many groundbreaking changes, the update includes live updates—a simplified version of Apple’s Live Activities system—support for the Advanced Professional Video (APV) codec, and the ability for apps to enable night mode in the camera.

The standout feature is what Google refers to as app adaptivity. This means that app windows can now be resized freely across all screen sizes and orientations.

This might seem minor, but given the wide variety of screen sizes and aspect ratios across different brands, providing a consistent user experience has been a significant challenge. The situation has been further complicated by varied form factors such as smartphones, tablets, foldable devices, and the use of larger screens in desktop environments, such as Samsung DeX.

App scaling behavior in Android 16.
    Google

Previously, the compromise for this issue has often resulted in ugly letterboxing or stretched app interfaces that look poor on different devices. Some manufacturers, like Samsung and Oppo, created custom solutions to allow for resizing app windows, but no universal fix was available across the Android ecosystem.

Google has been attentive to these user frustrations for some time. Since the release of Android 12L, the company has ramped up efforts to enhance the large-screen experience within applications. With Android 16, we are seeing a significant step toward achieving a more user-friendly interface across various devices.

“Android 16 is eliminating the ability for apps to restrict screen orientation and resizability on larger screens,” the company states. This means that adaptive apps will define the future, and those that attempt to impose limits will not be exempt from this new framework.

In essence, regardless of the form factor or screen dimensions, apps will automatically adjust to fit the available display space. These adaptivity rules will be uniformly applied across Android and other compatible platforms that support native access, including:

    1. Inner displays of large foldable devices
    2. Tablets, with desktop windowing capabilities
    3. Desktop environments, including Chromebooks
Android apps spanning across different screen sizes and devices.
    Google

The best part is that users will have control over how they prefer to see apps displayed on their device’s screen. Android 16 offers an opt-in feature that allows users to maintain an app’s default settings regarding aspect ratio adjustments.

Google acknowledges that developers may encounter issues like buttons being pushed off-screen, content overlapping, or camera viewfinders needing adjustments. Therefore, this transition will be gradual.

During the first part of this shift, set to roll out this year, developers will have the option to bypass these adaptivity rules for their applications. However, by 2026, these standards will become mandatory across the platform, with no option to opt-out.
