  • Where To Find Every Item in Mid School in Silent Hill f.

Where To Find Every Item in Mid School in Silent Hill f.

After the quick detour to Shu’s house through the center of Ebisugawa falls apart, Silent Hill f directs you to the local middle school, offering another route to the mountains and away from Ebisugaoka. Unfortunately, that route isn’t any smoother.

With a gate blocking the path to the mountains, Shu, Rinko, and Hinako must explore the school to find the mountain key. In reality, Hinako ends up doing most of the work, and the school is full of puzzles that require solving. Be prepared to do some thinking—these puzzles will challenge your wit.

    Exploring the First Floor

Start by interacting with the map on the wall to get the complete layout of the school. From there, move into the main hallway. Walk down the short corridor beside the stairs into an outdoor area where you can save at the Hokora. You’ll also find an Origami of Rumours nearby and a Dried Carcass further ahead.

Back in the main hall, check all the cubbies; one contains Yokan. Then, head through the open door into the vice principal’s office. Here, you’ll find a locked key cabinet, along with a note stating that the vice principal lost the key to the second floor. In the story, it’s locked in his desk, but on harder difficulty, he may have dropped it somewhere else.

Continue down the hall to the locker room, where you’ll find a Bandage and a First Aid Kit in an open locker. Another locker can be interacted with but can’t be opened yet. Opposite, inside a classroom, find some Ramune and the School Founder’s Anecdote. In the story version, you’ll also see a note indicating that the desk in the office can be opened with a hairpin.

Climb the stairs nearby to find Arare in a cupboard, then head back down to climb out a window. Outside, you’ll find Divine Water and hear a shout afterward.

On harder difficulty, there’s a poster indicating the vice principal’s love for gardening and his care for the flowerbeds.

    Finding Keys

The next step is to find the keys necessary for progression. The locations vary depending on difficulty but are generally similar.

In story mode, the journal updates after reading about opening the desk with a hairpin to show Sakuko dropped a hairpin in the yard’s rabbit hutch. Climb out the window, go to the bottom right of the map, and find the hairpin inside. With it, you can open the desk and retrieve the second floor key.

On hard mode, the instructions are less specific. The rabbit hutch is still there but irrelevant; instead, search along the flowerbed and find the dropped keys, battling enemies along the way. Once collected, you can open the stairwell to the second floor.

Outside, you can find useful items: a Dried Carcass in a shed, a Heavy Weapon — a Sledgehammer — to the far left, and Red Capsules and an Ema Plate further north. After acquiring the second floor key, you can access either side of the stairwell as you prefer.

    Opening Rinko’s Mysterious Box

Once upstairs, every classroom except the current one is locked, so enter the unlocked room. As soon as you go in, the door locks behind you, trapping you. To escape, interact with desks to see memories of Hinako, then sit at Rinko’s desk to solve her puzzle box.

The notes you receive are the same in story and hard modes, but the solutions differ slightly, with more interactive elements at higher difficulty.

    Stage 1

The first box’s key words are Sweet and Tart Fruit. Both modes use the same clues.

On story mode, reveal Strawberry and Cherries. On hard, you reveal Apple, Cherries, Orange, Grapes, Strawberry, and Pineapple.

    Stage 2

The keyword here is Journals. In story mode, you reveal identical books and an extra journal. Hard mode requires revealing three books on one side and one on the other.

    Stage 3

The final clues focus on Sakura In Full Bloom. In story mode, show only one Sakura branch. On hard, reveal the three Sakura branches, located on the bottom right and middle right of each side.

Once the box opens, you receive the Second Floor Classroom Key, which is used to open all other rooms.

    Exploring the Second Floor

Before moving on, thoroughly explore the second floor. First, go to the classroom near where the puzzle was solved, and grab the Toolkit in the hallway. Inside, find a Bandage, the Annex Key, and a note mentioning that Asakura has the key to her locker. Then, go to the opposite room to find Arare, an Origami of Grievances with TT’s locker code (377), and Asakura’s Textbook, hinting at her locker password, along with a cryptic cipher note.

Head to the right classroom: there, you’ll find a Toolkit and another Note of Grievances. That completes the Annex. The school is now dominated by overgrown red kudzu, but few enemies remain if you keep your distance from the stationary Scarecrow Students, some of which have Red Capsules at their feet.

    Opening the Lockers

Return to the locker room to unlock lockers with known passwords:

    • Aoi’s locker: Using the cipher notes, the password is AOI, which equals 401. Inside, find a note stating Suga’s password is a “cry for help,” which translates to SOS or 505. Inside the locker, you’ll find a School Bag to boost inventory space.

    • Suga’s locker: Password 505 yields a reward of a School Bag.

    • TT’s locker: Password 377 grants the Omamori — Wolf.

    • Asakura’s locker: On story mode, password 534; on hard, 864. Rewards include the Key Cabinet Key.

After opening all lockers, return to the office and open the key cabinet to finally get the Mountain Gate Key. With it, the school finally becomes accessible — at least for now.

  • Where to Find Every Benediction Door in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Where to Find Every Benediction Door in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Having access to a variety of Benedictions in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers ensures you’re never unprepared when facing a tough boss, especially if your build isn’t working as planned. The rarest and most valuable of these Benedictions are hidden behind special doors called Benediction Doors.

These bright yellow gateways act as shortcuts or entrances to new areas you’ll want to explore. Some of them lead directly to some of your game’s most rewarding treasures. It’s definitely worth searching for these doors whenever you can.

    What Are Benediction Doors?

Benediction Doors are different from Riddle Gates. Riddle Gates require you to answer a question, and you get different gifts based on your answer. Benediction Doors, on the other hand, are opened with a Chisel and always provide a new Benediction plus access to new parts of the map.

Finding these doors is highly recommended because the Benedictions they give boost your weapons significantly, making them some of the best in the game.

Where to Find All Benediction Doors

There are seven Benediction Doors scattered throughout your game, but most of them won’t be accessible until late in your adventure. Finding all seven grants you the Discerning Eye achievement/trophy.

You don’t need any special items besides the starting Chisel to open these doors. They don’t require riddles or puzzles—just straightforward access.

    Cloudspire Outskirts Benediction Door Location

The first Benediction Door is just outside the Cloudspire Outskirts shrine. You need to progress enough in the area to unlock the main gate shortcut. This door is right beside that shortcut and should be opened immediately.

Opening it grants the Benediction: Sheng – Lethal Might, which lets you gain a Skyborn Might charge after defeating enemies, increasing your damage temporarily. Access to this door also unlocks a cave shortcut to the boss Ai Nengqi and the Rebel Camp shrine.

    Mt. Zhenwu Benediction Door Location

After defeating Liu Wenxiu, move through the Mt. Zhenwu Temple area until you unlock the elevator back to Mt. Zhenwu Antechamber. Nearby, you’ll see a ledge with many tiny lights. Follow these steps:

    1. Step straight out to the green light and stop.
    2. Turn right and walk to the closest book near the temple, then stop.
    3. Turn left and walk to the next book, then stop.
    4. Turn right, then walk up to the next green light.
    5. Turn right again and follow the green lights to the ledge.

Open the Benediction Door here to receive Shan – Blight Ward, which reduces damage from afflicted enemies. Be cautious—inside, you’ll encounter two summoners, and fighting them is risky but rewarding, as they guard a Forgotten Remembrance.

Palace Vegetable Garden Benediction Door Location

After speaking with the Storyteller to begin Act Four, the first region of Act One will change. To reach the Palace Vegetable Garden shrine and this Benediction Door:

    – Travel from the Shu Sanctum shrine to the second-floor exit and turn right across the bridge.
    – Proceed up the hill until you pass the shield monster under the overhang.
    – Look right to follow a wooden path down the cliff.
    – Reach the Lotus Pond, then go left up a small hill, then right.

The door is visible from this spot. When opened, it grants you the Benediction: Fa – Corruptive Feathers, increasing your Feathering Attack Power near areas of corruption. Inside, you’ll find the shrine and a shortcut.

    Featherfall Marsh Benediction Door Location

Starting from the Bo Capital Entrance shrine, go around and slightly left into the cave. Cross a bone bridge and take the elevator down to the Featherfall Marsh. Inside:

    – Continue straight, keeping left around the central tree while avoiding enemies.
    – The door is up a set of golden stairs on the left, just below the ledge near the lever.
    – Beware traps on the ledge where fire traps shoot at you.

Opening this door awards the Benediction: Shi – Blood Ward, which reduces damage after taking hits. It also unlocks a shortcut into the marsh for easier access later.

First Depths of the Capital Benediction Door Location

From the Depths of the Capital Shrine:

    – Exit onto the main path, where enemies fight.
    – Take a left toward the streams of corruption.
    – Stay right and head diagonally right toward a lever in the back.
    – Use the lever to open two doors; enter the second one.

Inside, you’ll find the Benediction: Wei – Blood Force, which boosts damage when your health drops below a set point. This door creates a shortcut and provides powerful buffs.

Second Depths of the Capital Benediction Door Location

Starting from the elevator near the second Benediction Door:

    – Instead of turning right at the lever, go left.
    – Continue until you reach a fork—take the right path.
    – Drop off the ledge near kneeling enemies and find the lever to activate.
    – Return to the fork and take the right path again, then run past enemies to reach the next Benediction Door.

This grants you the Benediction: Bu – Combo Ward, which reduces damage from successive attacks. The door is guarded by enemies, including a bird that fires lasers and a staff-wielding foe. Defeating them grants access to the door, a shortcut, and the Benediction.

Third Depths of the Capital Benediction Door Location

From the elevator leading up to this area:

    – Instead of turning right at the previous lever, go left at the fork.
    – Follow the path until you find an invisible, green-lit path guarded by enemies.
    – Continue straight, then turn right at the end to find the door.

Inside, you’ll get the Benediction: Panda Merchant, which allows your attacks to absorb health temporarily after gaining Skyborn Might. The door leads to a shortcut and valuable buffs.

With these steps, you’ll be able to find and unlock all Benediction Doors, gaining powerful benefits to help you conquer Wuchang’s challenges.

  • Grounded 2: Codes for Completing the Briefcase and Solving Challenges

Grounded 2: Codes for Completing the Briefcase and Solving Challenges

Grounded 2 is packed with hidden spots containing valuable items you’ll need to succeed in the park. One such spot is the Briefcase, a plain-looking box that holds some of the rarest resources you’ll find.

Getting into the Briefcase isn’t simple—it requires discovering two separate codes. Finding these codes involves a bit of a spider-filled adventure. If you want to find the codes yourself or prefer to skip the hassle, here’s how to open the Briefcase in Grounded 2.

    Where Is the Briefcase?
The Briefcase is located on the far picnic table bench, next to the cooler. The area is full of Cockroach Nymphs, but as long as you don’t hurt them, they’ll stay calm.
To reach it, climb up the tablecloth until you reach the first bench, which has an Orb Weaver Jr. and a Garden Snail. You can either climb the spider webbing, fighting two Orb Weavers, or go around through the fold of the tablecloth.
If you choose the latter, continue to the end, avoiding spiderlings and Orb Weavers, until you reach three boxes of Hot Chachas, then climb up them. Walk along the handle of the Croquet Mallet to reach the other bench.

    Finding the First Briefcase Code
The first code is nearby. Go to the top of the picnic table. The area has ORC Ladybugs, Spiderlings, and Orb Weaver Jr., but they are easy to avoid. The code is written clearly on the underside of the Crossword Puzzle near the second ORC Ladybug. It’s right next to a Spiderling nest inside a rolled-up magazine, which you’ll probably pass as you look for it.
Once you get the code, you can either return to the Briefcase to enter it or go to the next spot to find the second code first.

    Finding the Second Briefcase Code
The second code is further away, at the Lectern. Climb down or jump off the picnic table and head southeast toward the tall stand visible from almost anywhere.
This area is more dangerous because it has more spiders, including Wolf Spiders, and butterflies at the top. Luckily, climbing it isn’t as tough as the table. If you have an Orb Weaver Buggy or are patient enough to climb without help, you can use the nearby spiderweb to skip the first floor of the lectern.

The entire route involves scrambling over trash and junk, picking up plenty of spicy candy along the way, and briefly circling outside the podium. Eventually, you’ll climb through a hole near the microphone cable. Once inside, you’ll face attacks from two ORC Butterflies and an ORC Weevil. You can defeat them or just look on the top left corner of the lectern, where a piece of paper has the second three-digit code written, then escape before they attack.

    Both Codes for the Briefcase
If you want to skip the treasure hunt and unlock the Briefcase quickly, here are both codes:

    Location Code
    Picnic Table Lock 137
    Lectern Lock 514

To open the Briefcase, enter each code into its respective lock. Once both are correct, the case will unlock.

    Why Open the Briefcase?
Opening the Briefcase offers several benefits. Inside, you’ll find many candies—minty, spicy, and sour chunks—as well as a milk molar, story logs, and raw science. It’s a treasure chest for those who manage to open it.
Plus, opening it makes travel easier: it creates a new shortcut to the top of the table, saving you the trouble of going through the cooler on future trips. It also offers a quicker way down, allowing you to drop to the case and pass through the tablecloth instead of circling around the entire area.

  • Touchscreens Might Reveal Our Decision-Making Secrets

Touchscreens Might Reveal Our Decision-Making Secrets

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Alberta’s Actions in Complex Environments Laboratory suggests that the gestures we use on our smartphones can reveal significant insights into our decision-making processes. This understanding could lead to advancements in various fields, such as tracking patients’ recovery from injuries, assisting recruiters in selecting candidates, or enhancing the design of mobile applications.

The research indicates that “As decisions necessitate actions to create an impact on the world, measurements derived from physical movements—such as using a mouse to control a cursor—serve as dynamic indicators of decision-making.” Moreover, the authors argue that touchscreens yield more nuanced insights into indecision than traditional computers.

Craig Chapman, an associate professor involved in the study, remarked, “By meticulously observing external behavior, we can glean substantial insights into what is happening within a person’s mind.” Participants engaged with Android smartphones and tablets, completing timed tasks that involved decision-making and utilizing taps and swipes to navigate “reach-decisions,” where various selections appeared in distinct screen locations.

According to Chapman, touch devices are arguably even more effective at showcasing the movement patterns associated with decision-making since users interact with them in a more natural manner. The findings also reveal that decisions regarded as more difficult took longer to respond to, with increased movement duration and curvature of trajectories when compared to easier choices.

Chapman envisions the potential of this research to revolutionize assessments of individuals in targeted contexts. For instance, health professionals and trainers could utilize movement analytics to monitor rehabilitation progress and determine areas where additional training or support may be needed. The study also highlighted the role of movement insights in hiring evaluations, where understanding how candidates navigate indecision could influence their suitability for particular roles.

The conclusion of the study emphasizes how this data could enhance the efficiency of gathering decision-making information, identifying certain combinations that yield the most sensitivity for specific tasks. App developers might leverage these insights to better position buttons related to crucial actions—such as purchases—ultimately aiming to reduce indecision and boost conversion rates.

The complete research paper is available through the university’s publication, detailing how this work expands upon earlier studies that focused solely on mouse-and-keyboard interactions.

  • Unlocking the Secrets in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a game that encourages you to explore. The first major open-world area you’ll encounter is Vatican City, where you’re able to enter the Sistine Chapel using a key provided by Antonio. While the main objective here is to meet Sister Catherine and initiate her quest, there’s an intriguing puzzle waiting for those who investigate further.

At the rear of the Sistine Chapel, you’ll find a locked safe. With a bit of detective work, you’ll be able to uncover the combination and open it.

How to Begin the Secret of Secrets Mystery

You can access the Sistine Chapel in the southern section of Vatican City, provided you have the priest disguise along with the Clerical Key from Antonio. Navigate through the Borgia Gardens and use your key to unlock the main entrance.

It’s a good idea to grab your camera before heading to the Sistine Chapel, as there are numerous photo ops that will earn you extra Adventure Points.

Once inside, talk to Sister Catherine, ideally snapping her picture if you haven’t done so already. Next, head to the back of the chapel and open the door on your left. There, read the note on the table to kick off the Secret of Secrets Mystery.

Make sure to capture an image of the chapel’s renowned ceiling while you’re there. The best spot for this photo is on the steps next to the seated priest on the left side of the room.

How to Unlock the Safe in the Sistine Chapel

The note from Nicoletti references an original manuscript from the 12th century that’s kept inside the safe across the room. It provides a clue for the combination:

“Look to the stars and the saints: Peter with the key, then Paul with the sword.”

Next to the table with the note and facing the safe, you’ll notice three small statuettes in the room:

    • A marble statue of Saint Anthony on the left.
    • A wooden statue of Saint Paul directly in front of you, near the safe.
    • A wooden statue of Saint Peter on the right, situated close to the locked door that leads back to the main chapel area.

Following the note’s guidance, only the statues of Peter and Paul matter for this puzzle—you can disregard Saint Anthony. Take the Peter and Paul statues and turn them over to check the symbols on their bases. They each have two planetary symbols painted on them.

Due to how Indy holds the statues, the symbols may appear upside-down. According to the order needed (putting Peter first, followed by Paul as per Nicoletti’s letter), the sequence is Mars, Mars, Uranus, Mercury.

You can open the safe simply by knowing the planetary order. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun, Uranus is the seventh, and Mercury is the first, making the safe’s combination 4471. If you need additional guidance, a Planetary Chart is available in a drawer at the center table.

All Mystery Note Locations for Secret of Secrets

    Note Location
Nicoletti’s Letter Found on the table on the right as you enter the room at the back of the Sistine Chapel.
Planetary Chart Inside the drawer in the middle of the puzzle room.
Hidden Note Under the book in the safe.

Though the manuscript within the safe is a forgery, retrieving it will reveal the final Mystery Note related to the Secret of Secrets, hinting at an impending visit from a German dignitary amid Mussolini’s forces securing the Vatican. You will also receive the Adventure Book for the Cutman Skill, which enhances Indy’s health recovery rate.

After solving the mystery, proceed to the back of the room and take the stairs down. Use the Clerical Key to unlock the door at the bottom, then present the priests with the photo of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Lastly, unlock the exit door to create a convenient escape route for future use!
