  • Completing Every Printer Slurry Location on Quasadron IX in Revenge of the Savage Planet

Exploring Revenge of the Savage Planet is an enjoyable experience, but as you delve deeper, you might find yourself wanting more. Each planet showcases its own distinct environments, ecosystems, and creatures, igniting your curiosity at every turn.

To fully explore these alien landscapes, you’ll need upgrades. For crafting these upgrades, gathering resources is essential, and among these, Printer Slurries are among the rarest. Unlike other materials, Printer Slurries won’t drop from enemies but are tucked away in specific locations. The savannah-themed planet Quasadron IX has numerous Printer Slurries, and this guide will help you find them easily.

Locations of All Savannah Lake Printer Slurries

    First Printer Slurry Location

For this one, you’ll need the Blight Bomb Stabilizer upgrade.

Start by going east from the Savannah Lake teleporter. You’ll come across an area filled with stone pillars and sticky pink ground, home to Sluggators. Here, you’ll find a breakable floor you must destroy as part of a quest involving the Alpha Sluggator.

Once you drop down, look for a crack covered in amber on the west side of the cave. Use the Blight Bomb to break the amber and enter the crack; that’s where you’ll find the Printer Slurry.

    Second Printer Slurry Location

From the Savannah Lake teleporter, head southeast. On a rock in the river, you’ll spot an unopened crate that contains a Printer Slurry, but it will require some unlocking first.

Fast travel to the Summit point. To the west, there’s a large amber mass—you’ll need to break this using the Blight Bomb. After clearing the amber, look for a cracked section on the ground and Stomp on it. This will send you sliding down a long tunnel.

As you slide, shoot the glowing pink devices along the way. Once you’ve shot them all, the tunnel will drop you off near the crate containing the Printer Slurry.

    Third Printer Slurry Location

Go directly north from the Savannah Lake teleporter and enter the lake. Keep the land on your right. When you see a Blight Bomb Plant, direct your gaze to the northeast to find a tall, narrow rock structure rising from the water.

Climb to the top of this formation to find a lid-like object with a red center. Destroy it by Stomping from mid-air, which requires a Double Jump followed by a well-timed Stomp.

For the Stomp, make sure you have the Launch Boosters, Advanced Stomp Boosters, and Quadruple Thrusters upgrades. Once you land a strong enough Stomp on the lid, it will open, revealing the Printer Slurry.

    Fourth Printer Slurry Location

To locate this one, move south from the Savannah Lake teleporter. At the river’s end, you’ll find a tree-like creature known as the Baobab Maw. Stand in front of it and dive to the bottom of the lake to find the Printer Slurry on the lakebed.

    Fifth Printer Slurry Location

For this Printer Slurry, head west from the Savannah Lake teleporter. You will find three pillar-like rock formations next to each other. The Printer Slurry is on top of these, but you won’t grab it just yet.

Instead, look north to find another set of three pillar-shaped formations covered in vines. Go to the right side base of this section where you’ll come across some amber. Use a Blight Bomb to break it open, revealing a metal box. Lift it and climb to the top of the rock formation.

Once there, place the box on the button to activate a nearby air vent, allowing you to enter it. Inside, you’ll find a cracked wall; destroy it using a Bombegranate to get to the Printer Slurry.

    Sixth Printer Slurry Location

Return to the rock formation where you found the previous Printer Slurry. On top, there are wilted mushrooms; use your hose to spray them with water, causing them to grow into platforms.

Use these mushroom platforms to reach the top of the formation. Because you placed the metal box on the button, an air vent should now be active at the top.

Utilize the Drone Glider upgrade to ride the air current upwards. While in the air, spray the mushrooms on the nearby stone pillars to transform them into yellow platforms.

Climb to the highest stone pillar, then look south to spot another trio of stone pillar formations in the distance. Glide towards them and use your grapple to reach the next Printer Slurry.

    Seventh Printer Slurry Location

For this one, navigate west from the Savannah Lake teleporter to the three pillar-like rock formations. Proceed south from there, and you’ll see a crate holding a Printer Slurry.

Before you can open it, you need to take down all the nearby creatures, especially the Arffalo. Burst its blob-like shell using the Whip to defeat it. Once you’ve cleared out the creatures, use a Blight Bomb on the amber-covered crate to access the Printer Slurry.

Locations of All Babutt Kingdom Printer Slurries

    First Printer Slurry Location

From the Babutt Kingdom teleporter, look to the southwest. Move along the left side of the giant tree while keeping it on your right. Behind the tree, you’ll find a brown barrier called Batterus Lo, familiar from your previous explorations.

To break through, find a nearby Ferro Dispenser near one of the fluffy tree-like plants to gather Ferro Goo. First, target the electrified mushroom on the left of the barrier and spray Ferro Goo to connect it to the small mushroom next to it.

Next, head to the right side of the tree to find two more small mushrooms. Create Ferro Goo connections from the electrified mushroom to these two as well, noting that one is under the tree’s roots. Once you’ve electrified all the mushrooms, the brown barrier will vanish, letting you access the Printer Slurry.

    Second Printer Slurry Location

From the Babutt Kingdom teleporter, head towards the cliff’s base to your southeast, keeping the cliff wall on your right. When you reach the Vitality Plant near the river, look again to the southeast; you’ll see a green barrier on the cliff wall.

Approach it and use your Remote Drone to guide Eko through the green barrier. Navigate Eko through the red barriers and connect it to the device inside.

Soon after, swim to the center of the circular lilypads in front of you, dive underwater, and you’ll spot the crate surrounded by red barriers.

Check the purple cables around the crate; they lead to two small green barriers underwater. Exit the water, use Eko to activate both green barriers, and once they’re powered, the red barriers will drop, allowing you to retrieve the Printer Slurry.

    Third Printer Slurry Location

Begin at the Babutt Kingdom teleporter again and head to the base of the cliff to your southeast. Keep the cliff wall on your right. When you reach the Vitality Plant by the river, look east to see a cave entrance blocked by pink crystals.

Enter the cave and carefully navigate through, avoiding spiked traps, until you reach the end. Upon exiting the cave, you’ll find yourself in an area with tall grass. If you move east, you’ll find the Printer Slurry, but you need to follow the purple cables to open its crate.

Behind the large tree to the east of the crate, you will see a purple button. Another purple button is behind a rock to the south, and the third is to the right of a tree northwest of the crate. Quickly shoot all three buttons to unlock the crate and claim the Printer Slurry.

These buttons can reset, so you’ll need to shoot them all in quick succession. To facilitate this, climb onto the rock northeast of the crate to easily shoot two buttons, then move to the other rock to shoot the last one.

Locations of All Summit Printer Slurries

Head east from the Summit teleporter where you’ll find a crate containing a Printer Slurry. However, nearby creatures must be defeated first. To open the crate, follow the cable linked to it; the device it connects to is inactive. By locating the active device along the cable’s path, you can activate it.

Shoot the active device and backtrack to activate each device in order before time runs out, or you’ll need to restart the process.

If you’re having trouble, you can simplify it by spraying water on the pink goo on the ground. However, dodging and speeding through the area while shooting accurately is usually the best approach to save time.

Locations of All Florian’s Fuchsia Festivus Printer Slurries

    First Printer Slurry Location

From the teleporter in this area, move north. After crossing the river from the waterfall, look northwest to spot some column-shaped rocks in the valley below.

Leap down to find a crate containing a Printer Slurry. To unlock it, you’ll have to energize the vein-like roots on the crate.

Start by looking south for an electric mushroom on the ceiling of the rock formation and nearby, a plant where you can extract Ferro Goo. You’ll need to connect the electric mushroom to the ground mushroom by applying Ferro Goo.

Your aim is to establish an electrical connection between the mushrooms. Even if you didn’t bring down the mushroom, spraying Ferro Goo all over the rock formation is the simplest way to tackle this.

After creating the electrical link, return to the crate and look north to find another rock column. This next part is easier—just bring down the electric mushroom using the Magnetic Fork, which will then open the crate for you to retrieve the Printer Slurry.

    Second Printer Slurry Location

To find this Printer Slurry, head southeast from the teleporter in this area. Ascend the cliff ahead and jump into the canyon-like pathway below—that’s where you’ll find the crate containing the Printer Slurry. Be prepared to hack the terminal and face waves of enemies to access it.

After defeating all the enemies, you can claim your Printer Slurry. Use your surroundings to your advantage and prioritize eliminating the moths that heal other foes.

Completing the Slurry Locations for Zenithian Rift Printers in Revenge of the Savage Planet

Sure! Here’s a unique rewrite in American English of your provided content:

Finding all the Printer Slurries in the Zenithian Rift in Revenge of the Savage Planet is crucial, especially since you’re approaching a midpoint in the game. As the upgrades become pricier, you’ll need these resources to craft essential gear that can facilitate your gameplay.

The Zenithian Rift is one of the more complex worlds in this survival shooter, making the search for Slurries a bit tougher. However, this guide will simplify the process, helping you locate every Printer Slurry on Zenithian Rift effortlessly.

Every Printer Slurry on Zenithian Rift

Having a stockpile of Printer Slurries is vital for success in Zenithian Rift. These Slurries enable you to craft superior equipment, helping you escape the planet faster. However, much like the numerous hidden crates on this planet, the Slurries are often out of sight.

It’s important to note that some Slurries require specific equipment to access them. This guide will point out their locations and how to unlock them, making it easy to follow along.

    Located at Bilodeau’s Floating Isles

Start in the northern section of Bilodeau’s Floating Isles. Ascend to the main floating rock platform at the top and approach the rock’s base. Look to the north side, where you’ll spot a small platform next to dehydrated mushrooms.

First, stand on the platform and use your Lava Tank to extract lava from the lava tree. Next, utilize the Power Hose to hydrate the mushrooms, allowing you to jump upward. A barrier may block the entrance at the top—just shoot it to clear the path and navigate upward using the mushrooms.

Follow this path until you find a frozen Printer Slurry. Use the Lava Tank to melt the ice, then employ the Power Hose to wash away the resulting lava, unlocking the Printer Slurry.

    Tip:

If you continue along the same path beyond the Slurry, you’ll find a crate located just behind the wall that was covering the Slurry.

    Printer Slurry 2

In the northern area of Bilodeau’s Floating Isle, climb to the main floating rock platform. On its northern base, you’ll find a small platform with dehydrated mushrooms. Jump onto this platform, extract lava from the nearby tree using the Lava Tank, and hydrate the mushrooms using the Power Hose.

Watch for a barrier at the top; simply shoot it and ascend the mushrooms. Continue on the path to discover the frozen Printer Slurry. Use the Lava Tank to melt the ice and cleanse it with the Power Hose.

    Printer Slurry 3

Access this Slurry by navigating the floating platforms toward the main rock. At the rock’s base, look left and down to spot another Slurry on a nearby platform. After landing, take care of any enemies and then melt the ice covering the Slurry, using either the Lava Tank or explosive enemies nearby.

    Brrrts Frozen Grotto

To reach this area, head to Frip’s Big Chill. After entering, locate the teleporter in the southern part of the zone. Behind the teleporter is a tunnel—travel through it without jumping out. Look left for a grapple point and swing over to the ledge across from the tunnel, where you’ll find the Slurry by breaking a wall with a Bombergranate or Blight Bomb.

    Printer Slurry 5

In Plyxor’s Shaft, check two trees at the base, where one tree will have roots covering the Slurry. To access it, you must throw pink alien creatures into the tree’s mouth, which will remove the roots.

    Printer Slurry 6

You must have the Magnetic Fork and Hawx Rail Grinder to retrieve this Slurry. Ascend using the Hawx Rail Grinder, but before exiting, find a ledge slightly above the exit. Use a magnetic throwable object with the Magnetic Fork to break the barrier, then drop down to access the Printer Slurry.

    The Depths of Trrn

Upon entering The Depths of Trrn, go to the right side of the cave. Use rock formations to climb and navigate the air currents. Once you reach the ledge, jump across to the next opening to find the Printer Slurry.

    Chikit’s Pool

You’ll find two Printer Slurries here, closely situated to one another. First, ensure you have defeated the Clawbarella boss to access Chikit’s Pool. The first Printer Slurry is positioned near the base of the pool, while the second can be located under the exit point. After exiting, you’ll teleport back to the Frip’s Big Chill region.

  • Completing the Quest: Solving Every Toxic Employee Cry-O-Pod

Revenge of the Savage Planet dives deeper into chaotic worlds and wild creatures compared to its predecessor, Journey to the Savage Planet. Each planet brings its own vibe, packed with opportunities for exploration. You start as an explorer for Alta Interstellar but are quickly dismissed from your job. Shortly after, you connect with Martin Tweed, the ex-CEO of Kindred Aerospace.

After Alta Interstellar takes over Kindred, Martin faces forced retirement, which he struggles to accept. It’s also clear that Alta Interstellar has some questionable practices. To help Martin and dig deeper into the situation, you can take on an optional mission on the planet Xephyr called Best Served Cold. This guide provides details on how to complete it.

How to Start the Best Served Cold Quest

First, you need to accept the Roundtrip 2.0 mission to locate the Cry-o-Pods. While you’re working through the main tasks on Stellaris Prime, you’ll spot a spaceship stuck in the swamp to the south of your base.

This ship, known as the Javelin, is from the previous game and is now trapped in the swamp. After you see and scan it, you won’t be able to do much at that moment. Keep progressing through the main tasks on Stellaris Prime, then move on to the next planet, Xephyr. Upon arriving, you’ll receive a quest from Martin Tweed titled ‘Best Served Cold’.

As you approach the Cryo-pods, icons will appear on your map showing their locations. You can click on these icons to track them easily.

Taking on the Best Served Cold quest while you’re on main missions in Xephyr is a smart move and won’t eat up extra time.

If you stick with Tweed’s storyline and gather information about Alta Interstellar during your journey, you’ll unlock multiple endings. To achieve Tweed’s Revenge ending, you must find 13 pieces of hidden evidence across different planets. Each piece brings you closer to revealing the truth about Alta and completing Tweed’s mission.

Where to Find the First Cry-O-Pod

If it’s your first time on Xephyr and you’re working on the May The Fork Be With You quest, make your way towards the northern parts of the planet. Continuing north, you’ll eventually discover an area called Cactus Valley, which is located just north of the Frangipane Drifts region.

Keep exploring this area and check around the large lake to the south of Cactus Valley. To the east of that lake, nestled by the edge of a cliff, you’ll find the first Cry-o-Pod waiting to be scanned.

Where to Find the Second Cry-O-Pod

To get this Cry-o-Pod, start at the teleporter in the Great Oasis region, located in the northeastern part of Xephyr. From the teleporter, head southwest until you see the entrance to the Caves of Miranyth—a cave system that goes deep underground.

Once inside, you have two choices: either venture in and turn right, or stay outside and move to the right before going down a narrow path. Either way will lead you to a pile of debris underneath a waterfall, where the Cry-o-Pods are hidden.

Where to Find the Third Cry-O-Pod

Begin your search at the G’nortt’s High Rise teleporter on Xephyr. From your location, look directly south. You’ll see a cliff thick with vegetation. Carefully make your way to this cliff. When you arrive, you’ll spot a Fungal Generator there—a unique mushroom that emits electrical energy.

Get close to this glowing mushroom and then turn your gaze to the east. In the shaded area beneath the cliff’s overhang, you should see the Cry-o-Pod waiting for you.

Where to Find the Fourth Cry-O-Pod

To find this Cry-o-Pod, you’ll first need to return to the Caves of Miranyth, the same spot where you got the second Cry-o-Pod. Inside, you’ll face a small but significant puzzle that involves interacting with electrically charged mushrooms.

Completing this puzzle is necessary for progressing the main storyline. Just keep in mind that you’ll need the Goo Ingestor upgrade first. Once you’ve completed the electric mushroom challenge, the blocking obstacle in the cave will disappear.

From there, make your way to the teleporter and drop down carefully into the lower area. You’ll find several red flytrap plants. This section also poses a puzzle, as scanning the plants reveals they require feeding amber to move forward.

Your task is to deflect the orange projectiles shot by certain plants with the Reflect-o-matic Hand Gel, aiming them into the mouths of the red flytrap plants.

The northernmost red flytrap is obstructed by thick branches, so you must first feed two other red flytraps found in the cave with amber before you can reach that one.

While feeding the flytrap in the watery area, don’t forget to grab the Orange Goo sitting right in front of it. There’s also more Orange Goo near the Cry-o-Pod itself.

Once you’ve fed the northern red flytrap, its roots will disappear, allowing you access to the cave on its right side. After you enter that cave, turn left immediately, and you’ll find the Cry-o-Pod waiting there.

Where to Find the Fifth Cry-O-Pod

To collect this Cryo-Pod, the first thing you need is the Lava Tank upgrade. Without this crucial upgrade, you won’t be able to access the area where the Cry-o-Pod resides. Make sure to keep progressing through main missions and side quests until you obtain the Lava Tank.

After you’ve got the upgrade, teleport to the G’nortt’s High Rise region on Xephyr. From the teleporter, move east toward a cliff, where you’ll encounter a hostile pink mantis enemy guarding the area. Once you’re there, you’ll see a cave corridor close by. Enter this passage to get to a place called Stone Aerie.

Inside the corridor, there’s a unique red plant known as the Lava Dispenser. Interact with it to gather lava, necessary for continuing your journey.

At the end of the corridor, look down to find a large cobweb. Use your hose to melt the web with lava, then drop down to the lower part of the corridor. This will take you directly to the Cry-o-Pods, which you can scan.

Once you’ve tracked all the Cry-o-Pods, you’ll unlock the achievement called Toxic Positivity. Plus, when you return to the base, a strange video message from Mary K. Le Faux will be waiting for you.

  • Completing the Challenge: Solving Three Babutts in Savage Planet

Completing the Challenge: Solving Three Babutts in Savage Planet

When you dive into Revenge of the Savage Planet, you might expect a thrilling adventure across new worlds, aiming to make them suitable for human habitation. However, things take a twist when you wake up after a century in cryosleep, only to find yourself jobless and without any necessary supplies.

At this point, transforming these planets into safe havens has to wait while you focus on basic survival. But just managing to get by can be dull; you need some challenges to make things interesting! One such challenge is the Up, Up, and Boom task. It’s tricky not because of the actions required, but because timing is everything.

How to Unlock the Up, Up, and Boom Challenge

As you progress, the disguised Slappi will reach out with new challenges. They come in sets, with each main challenge containing several sub-challenges to tackle first. Some are straightforward, but others can be quite intricate. Completing these sets opens up a treasure trove of upgrades, making them well worth the effort.

The Up, Up, and Boom challenge is part of the final set and requires you to cover three Babutts in Green Goo simultaneously. While it may sound simple, it demands more finesse than you might realize.

How to Complete the Up, Up, and Boom Challenge

A Babutt covered in green goo floating into the air in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

First, you’ll need to locate some Babutts, which can be found only on Quasadron IX, particularly in the Babutt Kingdom area. There’s a teleporter close to this region, so start from there. Babutts usually gather in groups, but they can be spaced out enough that one may not alert the others if it gets agitated.

So, what does this challenge entail? Babutts breathe fire from their faces. Coating them with Green Goo prevents their flames from escaping, but they won’t stop trying. This leads to them attempting to breathe fire through the goo, causing them to rise like hot air balloons, which culminates in an explosion.

The challenge stipulates that you must coat three Babutts at once. Fortunately, there’s a bit of leeway. You have until the first Babutt explodes to coat the last one. As long as the third Babutt is fully covered in Green Goo before the first one goes off, you’re good to go.

Be cautious while engaging with them; the Green Goo can also cause their fire trails to explode.

A great strategy to keep all the Babutts clustered together is to use some Bait. If you attach it to one of them, the others will gather around that Babutt, giving you a better chance to coat all three without the need to search for more.

  • Completing the Art of Freezing Enemies in Savage Planet

Completing the Art of Freezing Enemies in Savage Planet

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, you’ll have to confront one of humanity’s toughest realities: big corporations. After losing your job at the start of your journey in this new star system, you’re left to navigate on your own.

During this time, Slappi will present you with various challenges to keep things interesting. One of these is the Ice Ricochet challenge, where you’ll need to strategically freeze and take out enemies. To successfully complete it, follow these tips.

How to Unlock the Ice Ricochet Challenge

As you progress in Revenge of the Savage Planet, Slappi will frequently present you with challenges. Completing these challenges not only helps you improve your skills but also opens up chances for further upgrades. Each challenge consists of four smaller tasks, and there are four sets total.

The Ice Ricochet challenge is found in the third set. Your goal is to defeat three frozen enemies at once using a single Bounce Shot. Here’s how to do it.

How to Complete the Ice Ricochet Challenge

Pointing a charged bounce shot at an enemy in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Before attempting this challenge, it’s crucial to unlock the Bounce Shot ability. This upgrade to your blaster enhances your Charge Shot, allowing it to bounce between nearby enemies, dealing damage to each of them.

There’s also a Bounce Blast upgrade, but this isn’t necessary for this challenge.

Once you have the Bounce Shot, it’s time to find a suitable location. The only way to freeze enemies in the game is by using the Ice Detonator plant, which is available on every planet. A great place to accomplish this is in Zenithian Rift, where enemies are plentiful, and Ice Detonators are easy to find.

You’ll need to freeze three enemies together and then knock them out in one go with a Bounce Shot. Thankfully, once enemies are frozen, they can be taken down in a single hit. Just ensure that they’re close enough together, and your Bounce Shot will take them all down effortlessly.

This strategy works for all enemies, regardless of their strength. It’s best to lure multiple enemies to follow you, then shoot the Ice Detonator when they’re grouped together. Just be cautious: you can also get frozen. If that happens, you might not have enough time to charge your Bounce Shot before you break free. So, it’s wise to keep your distance from the Ice Detonator.

If you’re having trouble getting the enemies close together, don’t hesitate to throw some bait to make them attack each other—just make sure you do this with stronger enemies so they don’t eliminate each other too quickly. Once they’re frozen, unleash that Bounce Shot!

  • Completing the Search for All Stellaris Prime Orange Goo in Savage Planet

Completing the Search for All Stellaris Prime Orange Goo in Savage Planet

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, you wake up after spending 100 years in cryosleep, floating through space until you land on the planet Stellaris Prime. It’s a stunning yet wild world, and your mission is to make it more livable for humans. That was the plan—until you got laid off. Now, it’s up to you to figure out a way back home and seek revenge on the corporation that messed up your life.

While you’re on this adventure, why not enjoy yourself and get as strong as possible? A century in cryosleep has left your body in rough shape. Fortunately, Stellaris Prime is packed with Orange Goo, which you can consume to boost your strength. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

    What Does Orange Goo Do?

As you indulge in Orange Goo, it’s important to understand what it actually does. Although the game doesn’t give a clear explanation, you can be sure it only makes you stronger—no downsides at all! That’s why it’s found all over this star system. The more you consume, the more your Health and Stamina will improve.

However, don’t expect your Health and Stamina to grow with every single Orange Goo you munch on. Instead, each one increases the amount you need for the next upgrade. For example, eat one, and the next upgrade will require two, then three, and so on until you reach the maximum. Time to get munching!

You can’t find an excess of Orange Goo, so to max out your Health and Stamina, you’ll need to gather every last one.

Orange Goo Locations on Stellaris Prime

Every planet in the game has some Orange Goo, but Stellaris Prime has the most. Other planets have a total of 24 pieces each, while Stellaris Prime boasts a whopping 31 pieces of Orange Goo. You’ll be returning here again and again to gather all the goo.

Some images may indicate other areas, but they refer to the region marked in white on the map.

Pfyzzich Beach – Four Orange Goo

You’ll find four pieces of Orange Goo across Pfyzzich Beach. Here’s where to locate them:

    • The first goo is near the 3D printer on the beach, but you’ll need a blaster to break the crystals around it.
    • The second piece is hanging from the wall next to a large pillar in the west.
    • The third goo is located just after you jump across a gap before climbing up the hollow tree trunk.
    • The last piece is found before entering the large swamp of Nu Florida.

Slarragon Forest – 14 Orange Goo

Slarragon Forest contains the highest number of Orange Goo in the game, with 14 total pieces. Here’s how to find them:

    • The first piece is on top of a pillar. A Gelatinous Blob jump pad is below it.
    • The second is on a mushroom extending from a large rock formation.
    • The next one can be found on a small rock in the water—easy to reach.
    • One goo is situated on a rock in the center of this area. Just watch out for the strong winds as you approach.
    • This piece is on top of a large pillar east of the teleporter. You’ll need the water hose to grow some mushrooms.
    • Find the next goo inside a cave, which opens by feeding Kiwi Slugs to a living tree.
    • There’s one hidden behind a cracked wall. Grab a Bombegranate from a nearby mushroom to break it.
    • This goo is in an area filled with electrified Ferrous Goo. You can either jump over it, or use the Water Hose to wash it away.
    • Find the next piece in an underpass covered in webs, which requires Lava Goo to clear.
    • The goo is located just outside Spiderling’s Grotto. Burn the webs with Lava Goo to access it.
    • There’s a piece underwater that requires the Underwater Scooter to reach.
    • Another goo is on top of a large pillar surrounded by water. You can either glide from the east or use the free grapple to get there.
    • This next piece can be reached in different ways, either with Grapple Points or by having a triple jump, or again, using the free grapple.
    • The final piece is accessed by collecting nearby Blight Bombs and clearing out the Amber to reveal multiple grapple points leading to it.

Chuggler’s Swamp – Seven Orange Goo

There are seven pieces of Orange Goo in Chuggler’s Swamp. Here’s where to find them:

    • At the top of the tree where you receive the Lasso Whip, you’ll find an Orange Goo hidden beneath some blobs.
    • This goo hangs above the toxic gas from a rock overhead. You can reach it by jumping from the mushroom below.
    • The next piece is located on one of the large mushrooms, surrounded by spikes. Just jump off from the Grind Rail to reach it.
    • This piece is hidden behind a cracked wall; you will need a plant with Bombegranates on a nearby mushroom.
    • Another goo is found in a cave to the east infested with Stinging Bloatus enemies.
    • The next piece can be found on the ground. You can hurry to grab it or wait for the Toxic Gas Filter.
    • The final goo is high up and reachable via a series of nearby Grind Rails.

Cliffs of Abaddoon – Five Orange Goo

There are five pieces of Orange Goo to locate in the Cliffs of Abaddoon. They are:

    • The first piece can be found on one of the mushrooms as you ascend the cliffs.
    • This goo is hidden in tall grass in the northern part of the area. You’ll need to whip away the blobs around it.
    • There are two pieces of Orange Goo here that you can release by feeding Kiwi Slugs to the tree.
    • This piece is found in a small cave, which you can enter by destroying the entrance with a crystal picked up with the Mag Fork.

Spiderling’s Hollow – One Orange Goo

Inside Spiderling’s Hollow, there’s only a single piece of Orange Goo. Here’s where to find it:

    • In the hollow, you’ll need to use Lava Goo to burn away the webs blocking the Orange Goo on the ceiling.

Congratulations! You’ve now collected every single piece of Orange Goo on Stellaris Prime. If you’ve managed to find them all here, you’re likely equipped to track them down on the other planets as well!

  • Complete Your Quest: Solving Javelin Upgrades in Savage Planet

Complete Your Quest: Solving Javelin Upgrades in Savage Planet

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, you’re presented with a host of spectacular planets to discover. Unfortunately, the reason you have this opportunity is because your employer decided to let you go as part of cost-cutting measures. Still, you can make the most of your unexpected downtime. These planets offer a fantastic variety to explore.

But nothing truly compares to home. Earth feels like it’s light-years away, and getting back will require a Javelin spacecraft. Fortunately, you’ve got one that mysteriously washed up in a swamp outside your Habitat. Your first task? Get that spacecraft operational, which will take some serious effort.

Where to Find the Rusty Javelin

After landing on Stellaris Prime, you head to the Nu Florida Habitat, which becomes your main base. You’ll need to build it up since Alta Interglobal didn’t provide you with the necessary tools. Once you get the Habitat functioning again, Eko will detect a peculiar signal nearby and ask you to investigate.

This leads you to discover the Rusty Javelin, which is deeply buried in the swamp of Nu Florida. What a treasure to find! However, it’s stuck deep within the muck, and you’ll need a more powerful tool to excavate it. You can find such a tool on the planet Xephyr.

After defeating the Wormzilla boss, you’ll receive the Mag Fork tool, which allows you to lift metal objects. It’s time to head back to the swamp, pull that Javelin from the water, and return it to your base. With the Javelin now in your possession, you might think you’re ready to go home, right?

Not quite. The Javelin has been submerged for who knows how long, possibly since you left Earth. Restoring it will require significant maintenance, beginning with a thorough cleaning.

    Cleaning the Rusty Javelin

Once you bring the Rusty Javelin back to your Habitat, it needs a good scrubbing. Years of grime have built up, so you’ll need to clear it all off before you can even think about repairs. To accomplish this, there are three main tasks:

    • Remove the Green Goo.
    • Clean the Webs.
    • Eliminate the Amber.

If you’ve retrieved the Rusty Javelin promptly, the first cleanup task focuses on the Green Goo. Simply blast it off using the Water Hose. There’s a lot to wash away, so be thorough. Keep an eye on the journal to track when this objective is complete.

Next up are the webs. To tackle these, you’ll need Lava Goo, which requires the Goo Ingestor upgrade for your Water Hose. You need to collect parts from different Supply Crates on Xephyr to get this. Once you have the upgrade, just spray some Lava Goo on those webs. Remember, you’ll need to gather Lava Goo on Stellaris Prime first, as your supply resets when you change planets.

You can also opt for the Homebrew Lava Goo upgrade for a permanent supply, but this requires completing the final batch of challenges, which only unlocks later in the game.

Lastly, you need to deal with the Amber. This task is simple, but you can only do it after unlocking the planet Quasadron IX. To break it down, you’ll need Blight Bombs. However, without the inventory upgrade, they last only five seconds in hand. Once you obtain that upgrade, you can refill Blight Bombs from the vending machine in your Habitat. Toss them at the Amber chunks to clear them away.

After cleaning all that mess, the Rusty Javelin looks a lot better, though still not quite ready for action. Now it’s time to start the actual repair process, which, as you might expect, is a lengthy endeavor.

    Finding Each Javelin Upgrade

Once you’ve cleaned the Rusty Javelin, the next step is to repair it, requiring five specific upgrades before you can take off for Earth. These upgrades are not only costly but also need to be discovered. Here’s how to find all five.

Air Freshener and Ultra Hi-Fi Sound System

The first two upgrades for the Javelin are the Air Freshener and the Ultra Hi-Fi Sound System. These may seem a bit frivolous, but they’re essential for your journey back to Earth. Fortunately, they’re also the only two upgrades you can access right away. You can install them whenever you desire, but their materials come at a high cost.

    • Air Freshener – 1,600 Aluminium, 1,400 Carbon, 700 Silicon.
    • Ultra Hi-Fi Sound System – 1,800 Aluminium, 1,100 Carbon, 600 Silicon.

Since the Javelin isn’t functional until you’re ready to finish the game, it’s smarter to prioritize upgrades for your character first.

    Antenna

The Antenna is the first Javelin part you can find for research. It’s deep within the wasteland of Xephyr, at the northernmost end of the Crystal Pillars. Look for it lodged on a rock pillar just north of the Great Oasis teleporter. Scan it to unlock the upgrade.

    • Antenna – 1,200 Aluminium, 1,500 Carbon, 400 Silicon.

    Thrusters

The next upgrade is the Thrusters, located at the top of Zenethian Rift. Starting at the Summit of Ruin, descend the slope and head left until you find a small passage; the broken Javelin awaits at the end. Scan it to activate the Thrusters upgrade.

    • Thrusters – 800 Aluminium, 1,300 Carbon, 800 Silicon.

There’s also a floating island below with a Grind Rail leading to the broken Javelin, which you can activate if you haven’t reached the Summit of Ruin yet.

    Radiator

The last Javelin upgrade, the Radiator, can be found on Quasadron IX. To access it, you’ll need the Underwater Scooter, which you should already possess. Dive down in the water just south of the Savannah Lake teleporter to locate the submerged Javelin and scan it for the final upgrade.

    • Radiator – 1,100 Aluminium, 1,200 Carbon, 600 Silicon.

With these upgrades, the Rusty Javelin can finally be repaired, transforming it into a regular Javelin that will take you back to Earth. This undertaking requires a hefty total of 6,500 Aluminium, 6,500 Carbon, and 3,100 Silicon. As mentioned before, it’s a significant investment. After fixing the Javelin, you can interact with it to return to Earth, completing your journey.

Only proceed when you are ready to finish the game.

  • Completing the Quest: Printer Slurry Locations on Stellaris Prime

Completing the Quest: Printer Slurry Locations on Stellaris Prime

As you enter Scuttling Grotto from Chuggler’s Swamp, you’ll face Fecal Beetles. You need to shoot the electrical panels powering the lock on the Printer Slurry. You can battle them or just focus on obtaining the Printer Slurry and leaving.

Printer Slurries are harder to find than other resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet. Though you’ll need to fight through various creatures to collect all eight Printer Slurries across Stellaris Prime, you’ll be grateful for your upgrades back at the habitat!

  • Completing Every Creature You Can Solve in Stellaris Prime

Completing Every Creature You Can Solve in Stellaris Prime

Once you unlock the proton whip upgrade in Revenge of the Savage Planet, you can start doing some exciting things, including catching various creatures on Stellaris Prime for your base’s animal pens.

Capturing creatures on Stellaris Prime is also your first step in studying them in your pens, so swing your lasso and grab a few. The more creatures you catch, the better your research will be!

Complete Guide to Stellaris Prime Creatures and Their Locations

Below, you’ll find a list of where to catch each creature on Stellaris Prime. Some are automatically unlocked as you progress through the main story, but others will take extra effort to find if you want to catch them all for the Kindex.

You can start catching creatures on Stellaris Prime as soon as you get the proton whip in the early stages of the game, so be ready to use your lasso to grab some creatures and bring them back for research.

Complete List of Catchable Creatures on Stellaris Prime and How to Catch Them

    Creature Name

Return after getting the proton whip; these creatures serve as your introduction to collecting carbon for your 3D printer.

    Slitherfly

Slarragon Forest and Cliffs of Abaddoon

Nests are visible hanging from structures, and they make a buzzing noise before launching missiles at nearby targets.

Deal with a single Slitherfly by lassoing it, or use your water gun to stun it for an easier capture.

    Raccocco

    Slarragon Forest

The easiest way to find them is by following the main storyline or locating them near a teleporter close to the forest’s entrance from Nu Florida.

If you avoid attacking them first, Raccocco are simple to catch.

    Beetle

    Slarragon Forest

Commonly found around cliff sides, especially leading up to the Cliffs of Abadoon.

Stun it by hitting its purple shell before using your lasso, or it may escape.

    Fecal Beetle

    Slarragon Forest

Found in various spots; you’ll need to defeat a few to access Scuttling Grotto.

Use your whip to destroy the growths on its back to expose its weak point and then stun it by attacking that spot.

    Trickle

    Slarragon Forest and Chuggler’s Swamp

They emerge from coral-like tube plants when you walk by and can be aggressive.

It’s best to eliminate nearby Trickles first before trying to lasso one remaining creature.

    Mito Slime

Slarragon Forest, Chuggler’s Swamp, and Cliffs of Abaddoon

These green slimes leave trails and often attack in groups.

Shoot the larger slime to break it into smaller pieces for easy lassoing.

    Alpha Raccocco

    Slarragon Forest

Usually found alongside regular Raccocco as their protector.

Make sure not to attack nearby Raccocco to easily catch the Alpha version.

    Hognork

    Cliffs of Abaddoon

This is a key part of the storyline and cannot be skipped.

Stun it by hitting the weak spot in its mouth before lassoing the Hognork.

The more creatures you capture, the more useful your research will be back at the base. While you can catch the Hognork easily, some creatures require capturing multiple individuals to raise their research rank.

  • Completing Item Addition to Habitat in Revenge of the Savage Planet

Completing Item Addition to Habitat in Revenge of the Savage Planet

Even when you’re stranded on a distant planet with no way to return home, left behind by a heartless company that dismisses you despite your contributions to their profits, survival becomes your only option. You can’t let the corporation win, after all. But to survive, you need a place to call home.

Yet, a house can be more than just a shelter; it can become a vibrant space where you truly thrive. Revenge of the Savage Planet lets you transform your Habitat into something special. Internally, at least. Just be warned: it can be quite an expensive endeavor.

    How to Customize Your Habitat

The customization process for your Habitat is fairly straightforward, though there are limitations. For starters, you can only modify the interior, and you can’t alter the entrance room, which houses essential elements like the Teleporter, Computer, and 3D Printer. The rest of the Habitat, however, is fair game.

To begin customizing, simply hold the designated button on-screen to access the customization menu. This will detach you from your character, allowing you to move freely and zoom between the two levels as you enhance your space.

Placing items has few restrictions—as long as they don’t clip through the ground or other objects, you can position them wherever you like. The stairs to the second floor are an exception, but that’s understandable to prevent blocking access to that area.

Many items you place can be interacted with, so ensure there’s enough room for interaction, as the game allows you to place items that may block access.

There are various methods to position items. For example, you can enable snapping, which keeps items aligned with the walls, allowing them to rotate only in 90-degree increments. While this is useful for certain items like counters, it can feel limiting since items can’t snap to each other.

In such cases, free-form placement is beneficial. After all, nobody wants a boxy, grid-like home—it looks unnatural.

For furniture like tables, you can also stack smaller items on top. Clearly, a blender shouldn’t be sitting on the floor. However, be cautious, as larger items require more countertop space, often only fitting on larger tables.

Is There a Limit to How Much You Can Place?

When customizing your Habitat, you might wonder how much you can place before the game limits you. Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to be an issue at all. You can fill the space you’re given as much as you like.

There’s no hard limit on items you can place since the game employs a different system to prevent overloading—money. The currency, called Alta Bucks, is finite. While you can stuff your home with inexpensive items, you may run out of funds before hitting any limit.

How to Earn More Money for Customization

Earning a promotion to vice president of exploration in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Money fuels the game world, specifically Alta Bucks, which are your key to customizing your Habitat. You can gather these bucks throughout your adventures, but their main purpose is clear: to purchase items that make your Habitat more comfortable.

While there aren’t many ways to acquire Alta Bucks, the ones available reward you generously. Completing challenges can give you a significant boost in cash, and regularly filling out surveys from Alta Interglobal can also add a nice chunk to your funds.

The bulk of your earnings will come from Alta Coupon Crates. These crates can be found scattered across all planets, but they won’t be shown on your map or detected by the Survey tool. However, you might hear them as you approach, so keep your ears open.

  • How Long Is Completing Revenge of the Savage Planet?

How Long Is Completing Revenge of the Savage Planet?

As your Pioneer awakens in Revenge of the Savage Planet, you might find yourself wondering—where am I, how do I get back home, and how long will it take? Get ready for some payback of your own before you finish the game!

Your employer, Alta, has left you stranded on the outer edges of space without a way back, so you’ll need to venture out to explore these alien worlds in search of resources and knowledge. The time it takes to complete Revenge of the Savage Planet largely depends on how much exploration you decide to do.

How Long Will It Take To Play Revenge Of The Savage Planet?

The time from when you crash-land on Pfyzzich Beach on Stellaris Prime to when you finally board the Javelin and head back to Earth will depend on your play style, as there are many ways to enjoy this entertaining sci-fi adventure.

If you’re someone who likes to complete everything, known as a completionist, you might want to scan every item on every planet and fully fill your Kindex or unlock every outfit in the game. According to HowLongToBeat.com, a completionist run will take about 16 hours. Our editor, Andrew King, spent around 15 hours to finish the game for his review.

If you play in co-op mode, your overall playtime may vary based on how much you and your fellow Pioneers achieve together—exploring can be more fun with friends!

If you prefer a more casual approach and just want to enjoy the main story, a story-focused run will take roughly five hours, depending on how quickly you adjust to playing in the Habitat and how many teleporters you’ve unlocked for quicker travel.

Overall, the average playtime for Revenge of the Savage Planet is around 11 hours. In comparison, its predecessor, Journey to the Savage Planet, has a completion time of about 11.5 hours for its main game, so if you’re revisiting this quirky series, expect a similar amount of content!

  • Completing Challenges to Solve New Outfits in Revenge Of The Savage Planet

Completing Challenges to Solve New Outfits in Revenge Of The Savage Planet

Imagine being dropped onto a planet where no intelligent life has ever existed. You just lost your job, and your chatty robot companion never stops talking. To top it off, all your belongings were lost during the trip from Earth. But hey, at least you’ve got plenty of outfits to choose from. If you’re going to face challenges, you might as well do it in style.

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, looking good while exploring is just as vital—if not more so—than finding your lost gear. No matter how many times you get knocked out, you’ll always respawn. So let’s dive into finding every outfit available and embark on our stylish adventures through these uncharted worlds.

    How Do Outfits Work?

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, outfits consist of four key parts: Helmet, Body, Gloves, and Boots. There are several complete sets available, but you’re free to mix and match pieces as you like.

You can also change the color of each piece, but keep in mind that color changes are saved by category. If you alter the color of a helmet, it will change color for all helmets. However, you can still customize each piece’s color, allowing for outfits that are beautifully coordinated or downright outrageous. The choice is yours!

How To Unlock New Outfit Colors

Capturing a large creature in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

To unlock new outfit pieces, you’ll need to find Supply Crates scattered across the planet. Opening these will grant you new items to sport. However, obtaining new colors is a different challenge: you’ll need to capture creatures.

Each creature you capture (except for those that upgrade your gear) will unlock a unique color scheme for your outfits, encouraging you to capture as many as possible.

There’s one special color, gold, which can be unlocked by completing the D.I.A.P.E.R. Program DLC.

Once you capture a creature, simply research them back at the Habitat computer to unlock their color scheme. This is a one-time task; once you have a color, it’s yours for good. You can apply it to any piece of clothing as often as you like. Best of all, even though outfit pieces can be dyed separately, the colors apply universally across all pieces.

Every Outfit And How It Is Unlocked

Initially, there are 14 outfits available in the game. Five of these come standard, while the other nine must be found in Supply Crates across the game’s four main planets. Only the default color scheme is available from the start; all others require capturing creatures.

  • Completing Every Planet in Revenge of the Savage Planet

Completing Every Planet in Revenge of the Savage Planet

With a title like Revenge of the Savage Planet, it’s clear that exploring alien worlds is a major part of the game. After being let go from your job, there’s not much else to keep you busy, so why not dive into interstellar exploration? With a myriad of planets to discover, there’s no shortage of adventures awaiting you.

This game offers plenty of variety, presenting many different enemies and landscapes, which means you can look forward to many unique planets. Fortunately, each one offers a distinct character, making every exploration a delightful experience. But just how many of these planets can you explore?

    How Many Planets Are There?

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, you start your journey on Stellaris Prime, a vibrant world filled with color and diverse wildlife. While it serves as a great introduction to the game, it’s just the first step in your adventure. It’s not a bad planet by any means, but it’s a bit more guided compared to others.

Overall, there are five planets to explore, although only four are fully navigable. Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect:

    • Stellaris Prime – Verdant and lush.
    • Xephyr – Desolate and rocky.
    • Zenethian Rift – A mix of icy and volcanic regions with various elevations.
    • Quasadron IX – Expansive plains dotted with water bodies.
    • Slappi’s Den of Fun – A more linear planet, akin to the Shrines.

Except for Slappi’s Den of Fun, you’ll encounter all these planets as part of the narrative, which explains why Slappi’s Den is more straightforward; it wouldn’t make sense to heavily develop a location that might go unexplored.

    How Big Are the Planets?

The player posing on Zenethian Rift with another planet in the background in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

While each planet is unique, they are generally similar in size. For example, Stellaris Prime is more straightforward but densely packed, whereas Xephyr is vast, mostly consisting of deserts. Zenethian Rift features a mix of frozen and volcanic terrains, complete with floating islands and deep caves, offering you more ways to explore each area.

Strictly speaking, it’s challenging to quantify their size. However, each planet has a comparable amount of collectibles—like Orange Goo and Printer Slurry—ensuring that you have plenty to engage with no matter where you are.

Slappi’s Den of Fun is an exception; it consists solely of interiors and contains no collectibles.

    How to Unlock Each Planet

A javelin space vehicle traveling towards the Stellaris Prime planet in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Now that you know how many planets there are, you might be curious about how to unlock them. Thankfully, it’s pretty simple—with one exception, you can’t miss any of them. All planets become accessible as you progress through the story, which makes exploration straightforward.

However, this also means you can’t access them in any order. Each one is designed to be discovered with certain abilities that you gain through gameplay. Below is the order in which you’ll unlock each planet:

    Planet

    How to Unlock

    Stellaris Prime Initial planet.
Xephyr Unlocked after building the Planetary Cannon.
Zenethian Rift Unlocked after defeating Wormzilla and acquiring the Mag Fork.
Quasadron IX Unlocked after defeating Clawbarella and obtaining the Underwater Scooter.
Slappi’s Den of Fun Unlocked after completing all of Slappi’s Shrines and researching the Pentaforce.

Slappi’s Den of Fun is the only optional planet, but you still can’t reach it until you’ve completed the story mission for Quasadron IX. This is because you unlock Slappi’s Den by finishing all his Shrines, the last of which is on Quasadron IX. That said, you can complete the game without visiting this extra planet if you’re not interested in the challenges.

Once a planet is unlocked, you can return to explore them anytime. This allows you to collect items you may have missed or discover new Scannables with your new abilities.

  • “Completing Every Selfie Location on Xephyr in Revenge of the Savage Planet”

“Completing Every Selfie Location on Xephyr in Revenge of the Savage Planet”

Revenge of the Savage Planet is a game that humorously explores the consequences of letting one corporation control all aspects of space travel. It also pokes fun at modern social behaviors, such as the obsession with taking photos, regardless of the situation.

Imagine losing your job but gaining access to entire planets to roam freely. Why not make the most of your time by capturing memories? Although Xephyr may appear to be just an expanse of sand and cacti, the right angles can transform even the driest landscape into a vibrant oasis. Here’s where you can snap a selfie.

What Are Selfies in Revenge of the Savage Planet?

Referring to them as selfies might suggest that Revenge of the Savage Planet has a photo mode where you can take pictures on your own. While the game does encourage discovering specific locations, you can’t take custom photos. Instead, selfies are marked locations on each planet, indicated by pedestals.

These are part of the D.I.A.P.E.R. program DLC and are essential for completing the Interstellar Geographic quest. Even though you’re not personally framing the shot, the game provides some stunning visuals for you.

Since the UI is disabled, you can also take screenshots of these scenic moments if you wish.

    Every Selfie Location on Xephyr

There are 16 selfie locations in total, with three found on Xephyr. They are somewhat scattered, so here’s where to discover each one. To make things easier, use your Survey skill to highlight them if they’re within 100-200 meters. Keep in mind that these markers won’t remain on your map, but they will be helpful in the search.

Additionally, you can check your journal for hints about the location of each selfie spot and the overall count on each planet.

    Selfie Location #1

The first selfie is located in the Cactus Valley, which is north of your entry point into Xephyr. Walk straight ahead until you reach some greenery. The Selfie Pedestal is positioned just south of the teleporter, easily visible.

    Selfie Location #2

The second spot is at the Great Oasis, situated far to the east of Xephyr. Keep heading east until you encounter the large body of water; it’s one of the few. The Selfie Pedestal can be found in the southeast corner from the teleporter, providing a beautiful view of the planet behind you.

    Selfie Location #3

The third selfie can be found in the G’nortt’s High Rise region, located south of the Cactus Valley. The Selfie Pedestal is nearly directly south of the first pedestal you discovered, nestled in the hills just northwest of the nearby teleporter.

With these locations, you should be able to find all Xephyr selfies. You can track your progress from the journal; selfies you’ve already captured will show in black-and-white, while those you haven’t taken will remain in color. Completing these selfies brings you closer to achieving your Interstellar Geographic mission.

    Selfie Location #4

The last selfie location is in the Larval Roost, where you first encounter Wormzilla. This spot is situated on a hill to the west of the region, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

Essential Tips for Completing Revenge of the Savage Planet

Even though Revenge of the Savage Planet is a shorter game, there’s a lot to know before you embark on your adventure across distant alien worlds. After all, it’s a big deal to leave everything behind and dive into the unknowns of space!

As you crash-land on Pfyzzich Beach during the game’s opening moments, you’ll notice that the world is vast, vibrant, and teeming with alien life. To help you get started on your journey, here are some essential tips.

    Scan Everything as You Explore

As soon as you escape the wreckage on Stellaris Prime and gather some Eko, your mission is to scan the items around you while searching for a way back to Earth. Eko introduces you to the Kindex, a journal feature that tracks everything you document during your planetary explorations.

You can hover over regions on your map to see how many collectibles are nearby. Each planet is packed with dozens of items to scan, and you may find some shared discoveries as you progress through additional missions. It’s wise to scan regularly to save time if you’re aiming for completion.

Scanning plants, animals, obstacles, and even entering new areas will add discoveries to your Kindex. If you want to log everything, it’s smart to scan roughly every 50 meters. Items you’ve already scanned will be marked in blue, while new discoveries will have an orange outline.

    Activate Every Teleporter You Encounter

Using a teleporter in the Habitat in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

When you reach Nu Florida for the first time and start exploring Stellaris Prime, a mission appears in your journal called Worlds Traveler. Your task is to activate the teleporters scattered throughout the universe. They’re usually located in various areas, and to use them, you first need to reach and activate each teleporter.

Activating teleporters in different locations is crucial for an efficient gameplay experience in Revenge of the Savage Planet, as everything connects back to Stellaris Prime. If you die or restart, you’ll end up back at your Habitat. If you lose resources upon dying, their locations will be marked on your map for a return trip.

With so much to do across the planets, unlocking the ability to fast travel is key. Even if a teleporter is surrounded by challenges, it’s worth the extra effort—you won’t regret it later.

Your Habitat: A Canvas for Creativity

A Habitat in the DKO catalog in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Once you explore the somewhat luxurious mobile home in Nu Florida (and try to ignore the video about losing your job and being stranded), you’ll have a base to return to frequently. Your main room includes essentials like a teleporter, a computer for emails and research, a wardrobe for outfits, and a video screen, among others. You’re free to decorate it as you wish!

You’ll find Alta crates scattered throughout the planets. When you come across ones that are not empty, you can grab Alta Bucks and Coupons to buy decorations from the Alta Store. Choices range from arcade machines to kitchen sets—anything a wandering space explorer might want for leisure back in the Habitat!

The Alta Store regularly updates with new items, so each time you’re back in the Habitat, check the Home DKO menu on your PC or enter the décor menu from your living space. You can interact with these decorations, so be sure to explore them and enjoy the playful features they offer.

    Prioritize Finding Balls of Goo

Finding orange goo in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

As you explore, Eko points out the significance of finding Orange Goo. You can spot them while navigating, and they are also marked on your map in the journal. While it may seem odd to ingest globs of goo (somehow past your helmet), doing so will boost your health and stamina.

As in most adventure games, you start off with modest health and stamina levels. Stamina allows you to sprint across vast worlds, and sufficient health is crucial for surviving battles, especially during boss encounters!

It’s wise to regularly scan the area for items, as this will highlight nearby orange goo. So, scan often and stay alert!

    Watch for Vitality Plants

While not as impactful as the orange goo, knowing where the nearest Vitality Plant is important. Eko will point these out as you explore; interacting with them will immediately restore your health.

These plants are typically located in areas filled with dangerous creatures or high falls, so if you’re unsure of their location, just scan the environment for guidance.

Customize Yourself and Eko in the Habitat

Not long after settling into your Habitat, you’ll receive a message from Shama Lama about a new program you’ve been enrolled in called the D.I.A.P.E.R. Program. This involves taking selfies at scenic spots across the planets, and completing it will reward you with new outfits for your character. You can change outfits in the Wardrobe at your Habitat whenever you want a new look.

In your main hub, you can also use the PC to customize your avatar and Eko’s voice. If Eko’s quips become repetitive, you can change their tone or reduce how often they speak. Turning Eko off entirely won’t hinder your understanding of the story.

Find all these options in the Parameters menu on your Habitat PC.

Use the Kindex to Learn About Enemies

The Fecal Beetle Kindex entry in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

While you’ve been encouraged to scan the environment, don’t forget about the enemies as well. Scanning foes is part of your journey to fill the Kindex, so be swift and thoughtful when documenting them.

Once you’ve scanned an enemy, you can read about it in the Kindex. While the action can be chaotic, take the time to learn from these entries during quieter moments.

Many enemies may not have straightforward strategies for defeat, often needing upgraded tools or environmental advantages. For example, the slimes you encounter early on are unaffected by regular attacks, but after you unlock the spray nozzle upgrade, you’ll find that they dissolve in water, making it easier to deal with them.
