Hollow Knight: Silksong – Mastering the Widow Boss Fight Strategies

The boss fights in Hollow Knight: Silksong really stand out when they have a clear theme behind their attacks, and the Widow of Bellhart definitely delivers in this aspect. As the creature responsible for the current hauntings in the town, there’s a strong reason for Hornet to defeat her. However, defeating her will take some effort on your part.

She uses the leftover Silk from Pharloom to attack, with a variety of moves that may take some time to learn. Once you get the hang of her patterns, you should find it easier to defeat her. Luckily, using the right tools can make this early boss fight much quicker and less frustrating, so you can enjoy the battle without feeling overwhelmed.

    Best Equipment for Fighting Widow

Given that Widow’s moves mainly involve standing still while pulling rocks or crawling along the ground, placing traps like Sting Shards or Tacks over her can do a lot of damage. Quick-throw weapons like the Straight Pin or Threefold Pins can also be very helpful for dealing extra damage between her attacks.

Tip: If you’re having trouble or running out of tools during the fight, save most of your resources for her second phase. This will help shorten her empowered state and make the fight easier.

Using the right tools combined with upgrades can also make a big difference. Improving your tool capacity, damage, and passive effects with accessories like the Pollip Pouch can give you a significant boost in damage output.

For other accessories, the Weighted Belt can prevent unnecessary damage from falling boulders when attacking her. Defensive tools like the Bell, which shields you from off-screen attacks, and the Druid’s Eye, which offers extra healing, are also useful to have.

Luckily, you don’t have to farm for many upgrades or Rosaries before facing Widow. If you don’t have the perfect setup, don’t worry—she’s still beatable.

How to Beat Widow and Dodge Her Attacks

Since you won’t get your first nail upgrade before fighting Widow, focus on staying alive by playing cautiously. Her attack patterns may seem fast at first, but they are fairly predictable once you learn them.

Her most common move involves calling down bells from above at an angle, which is a good opportunity to deal damage as long as you watch where they land. She also calls down vertical bells to block your movement, which is a good time to launch projectiles or a Silkspear if you have extra thread.

Another move involves her jumping into the air and slashing diagonally, then running across the screen. Dashing underneath her at the right moment can help you dodge this attack. If timed well, you can also land several diagonal pogo attacks while she’s running side to side.

Sometimes, Widow will dash without attacking and summon bell hazards from below. When this happens, it’s safer to focus on wall jumping to stay high and float towards the side where the hazards appear.

It might take several tries to get the timing right, especially in her second phase when she’s more aggressive. But with patience and practice, these tips will help you beat her efficiently. Defeating her is very satisfying, especially because her attacks are themed and connect to what she unlocks afterward.

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong – Sister Splinter Boss Strategy

Hollow Knight: Silksong – Sister Splinter Boss Strategy

Sister Splinter can be one of the hardest bosses in Hollow Knight: Silksong, mainly because the fighting area can become very crowded. While her attacks are pretty straightforward, they get much more difficult to dodge when there are spikes on the ceiling and flying enemies around.

Knowing how to keep the fighting space clear can make defeating Sister Splinter much easier. With the right strategy and tools, you can beat her and move on to other challenges in the game.

Where To Find Sister Splinter and the Bench Location

    Deep in Shellwood
You can find Sister Splinter in the Shellwood area on the map, as shown in the picture above. You need to fight her to move forward in the game, as she blocks the wall-jump ability that helps you explore more areas.

To reach her easily, work your way through most of Shellwood to unlock the elevator that gives quick access. Once you have it, rest at the bench near the center of Shellwood; this is the shortest route back after the fight. The bench costs 50 rosaries to unlock, so make sure you have enough when exploring this area.

From that bench, take the elevator up, go into the room on your right, then jump across the platforms and climb up. Use your pogo jump to cross the flowers on the left to reach the boss room.

    How to Defeat Sister Splinter

    First Phase
Your main goal during the fight is to keep the area clear. When she goes up to the ceiling, spikes will come down soon after. You can break these spikes with a few hits—don’t bother destroying all of them, just the ones that block your movement. You need enough space to dodge her attacks comfortably.

In this phase, dodge her strikes by moving left or right, jumping to hit her whenever possible. She attacks in sets of three, alternating when she strikes from the left or right. When she’s about to drop spikes, you’ll see light beams indicating where they will land—use this to avoid them and heal if needed. Staying on the correct side of her attacks makes it easier to get hits, and when she falls to the floor, step back quickly to avoid damage from her impact. When she’s on the ground, you can safely attack or heal.

    Second Phase
Things get tougher here. She will summon flying enemies at the start, giving you a few seconds to handle them before she attacks again. Instead of trying to hit these enemies, it’s better to use your Silkspear attack if you have the silk available. It kills the flying enemies in one hit, helping you keep pace.

Throughout the fight, she’ll keep spawning flying enemies. Focus on killing them with your Silkspear rather than using it for healing. Her own attacks can also kill these enemies if they’re in her way, which can work in your favor if you’re careful.

If she slams down many brambles at once, use your Silkspear to take them out with a single attack. The tool you have equipped, like the Longpin (found in a side room in Shellwood), can help deal with environmental hazards. If you don’t have the Longpin, the Straight Pin is a good alternative.

Staying aggressive is key. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed; I struggled early on because I wasn’t using the Silkspear, but I beat her without taking a hit once I changed my approach. Sister Splinter is a tough opponent if she controls the arena, but shutting down her attacks quickly gives you the advantage.

After defeating her, leave the arena to the left. You’ll find a statue nearby where you can unlock the wall jump ability. With that skill, you’ll be able to reach the next boss above Bellhart as you progress towards the end of the first act of Silksong.

  • How to Defeat Lace in the Cradle by Completing and Solving in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Defeat Lace in the Cradle by Completing and Solving in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Since the first game in the series, the creators of Hollow Knight: Silksong have shown a fondness for bosses that repeat multiple times. You face these bosses on the main path several times, and each encounter is more difficult, with increased health and new attack patterns.

Lace is one of these recurring bosses. Although she appears small, she’s quite dangerous. After defeating her in Deep Docks, you’ll see her again in The Cradle, which is the final part of the main story.

Where to Find Lace in The Cradle

If you’ve just defeated Lace in Deep Docks and wonder if she will appear again, the answer is yes. But you’ll need to progress quite far in the game first. First, reach the Citadel and go through Choral Chambers to defeat the Cogwork Dancers at the top. Doing so unlocks three new objectives, which involve collecting three melodies from different parts of the Citadel.

Once you’ve collected all three, play these melodies at the Cogwork Dancers’ arena to activate statues. This will summon a large elevator. Take the elevator to the top, and you’ll immediately face Lace once again.

How to Defeat Lace in The Cradle

Most boss fights in Hollow Knight: Silksong require patience as you wait for the right moments to strike. But fighting Lace is the opposite; she attacks so quickly that waiting for her to finish her moves can be deadly. The fight is fast-paced, with her attacking in rapid succession—often just a second apart.

Besides her standard attacks, Lace has a special mechanic for her idle times, which will be explained below. It’s important to learn what to expect from each attack:

Attack Wind-Up Tells and Description Recommended Counter
Slash Attack She charges her needle, barely visible in her hand, then swings three times while moving forward Move backwards if there’s space or jump up to strike downward during her swings
Jump Attack She crouches slightly with her needle near the ground, then leaps diagonally upward and dashes toward your position Wait for her to jump and walk towards her or dash to her if you’re far away
Dash Attack She holds her needle horizontally before rushing through the arena, dealing double damage if hit Jump to dodge, and you can strike as she dashes past
Parry Counter When idle, Lace can parry your attack, triggering an AoE attack either on the ground or in the air Avoid attacking when she’s idle, then immediately jump to dodge her counter
AoE Attack Last phase move where she forms a big circle around herself and then slams the ground Stay outside the circle and wait for it to end; move far enough away to avoid the second one

Note: Lace has little time between her attacks, and this short window gets even shorter in later phases.

The fight has three phases, each starting when she roars, which signals a new phase. Sometimes, she gets stunned at the same time, causing you to miss the cue. Expect her new attack patterns after each stun. Her health at each phase begins as follows:

Phase Approximate HP Changes from Last Phase
1 100% Starts with her basic moves
2 ~60% Jump and Dash attacks become faster and more aggressive
3 ~20% Unlocks the AoE attack and increased aggression

In later phases, her Jump and Dash attacks are buffed:

    • During the Jump Attack, she creates three rings around her which explode when she lands, limiting your movement.
    • Her Dash Attack may occur up to three times in a row, instead of just once.

    Tips for the Fight

Lace’s low health might suggest an easier battle, but her speed makes it challenging. Her attacks happen quickly, and there are gaps of little to no safe space. You must time your own attacks and healing carefully. During her Jump Attack, it’s one of your best chances to land hits.

Since many of her attacks involve downward strikes, it’s recommended to equip a separate crest specifically for this fight, rather than relying on the default.

When you’re low on health, wait for her Dash Attack, jump away as she starts to dash, and heal immediately afterward. This timing lets you recover without taking damage. You can also bait her parry stance to land a few hits, as she tends to enter parry mode after certain attacks. Wait for her stance to end before attacking again for the best chance to deal damage.

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong – Final Judge Boss Tips & Runback Strategies

Hollow Knight: Silksong – Final Judge Boss Tips & Runback Strategies

The Last Judge is the final challenge of the first act in Hollow Knight: Silksong. It’s likely to be the toughest boss you’ll face so far. The fight is long and aggressive, and each time you try to face it, you’ll need to do a tricky run back to get there.

Thankfully, with some practice and knowing what to do, you won’t get stuck. Understanding the runback route, choosing the right crest, and using a helpful tool can make a big difference. This can turn a daunting boss into a more manageable one.

How to Get Through the Last Judge Runback

    Don’t Waste Time on Enemies

The runback to the Last Judge can seem intimidating because of the platforming involved. Watching a video of an optimized runback can help you avoid unnecessary jumps and enemy encounters.

Keep your speed up. Dashing allows you to skip fighting some enemies. Quickly dash and jump over the first few sandworm gaps, then start jumping vertically between platforms. Instead of moving straight to the right, jump to the left and wall jump up to avoid some difficult spots.

Next, you need to pogo off a bell. I used the Wanderer crest because it makes pogo jumps easier, but you can do this with other crests too. Run forward, then jump, dash, and float over the next gap to avoid an enemy and pogo off the bell. It’s better to pogo off a bell rather than hitting the wall for a quick wall jump — that’s more reliable.

Once you hit the far wall, wall jump up, then move back left for another pogo. Hit the left wall, wall jump again, then jump, float, and dash onto the last platform. Once you master these steps, you can do the entire runback in about 30 seconds without fighting enemies.

How to Beat the Last Judge

    Playing Aggressively Can Help

When fighting the Last Judge, having the Wanderer crest equipped is very useful. You can find it in the Bone Bottom area, after passing through the Wormways. With it, you can land quick attacks, but the boss can still be defeated with other crests if you prefer.

The Magma Bell, bought from the smith in Deep Docks, is also a good choice. It reduces fire damage, which is a major part of the boss’s attack pattern. You can pick other gear based on your playstyle. Since some of the boss’s attacks block tools, consider using flasks that boost speed or mask count.

You can play more aggressively against the Last Judge, especially if you have the Wanderer crest. Its first phase isn’t too dangerous — dash in for hits when it attacks. The easiest opening is when it leaps into the air and slams down, but you can also dodge toward it when it throws its flail, then leap over the flail when it pulls back. Its spin attack can often be parried with the crest, but it’s safer to back away.

The second phase introduces fire attacks. The spin attack sends out flames you can dodge by moving left or right. Pillars of flame also appear and can be avoided the same way. When it slams the ground, jump into the air to avoid the shockwave. The flail explosion releases fire too, so steer clear of the blast radius.

Pro Tip: When you need to heal, look for good openings and try to do it while airborne — fewer of the boss’s attacks will hit you then.

Mastering the timing of these attacks will give you chances to land hits. As the fight gets harder, you might want to play a bit safer, especially during the second phase. The transition between phases is a good moment to strike quickly.

After defeating the Last Judge, there’s a brief freeze before it falls. Move as far away as possible right afterward. Once it explodes, you can safely return to the area.

Getting good at the Last Judge fight takes time, but it’s doable once you know the openings. Remember: hit fast, dodge the flames, and get out of the way as soon as it’s over.

  • Discovering Steel Soul Mode in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Discovering Steel Soul Mode in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Even though Hollow Knight: Silksong has only been out for a few days, some players have already finished the final boss and are ready for the next challenge. If you’re still working through the game on normal difficulty, don’t worry—there’s an alternative difficulty called Steal Soul mode that’s not too far away.

While Hornet has many tools and abilities to fight enemies in Pharloom, players have still raised concerns about how tough the game can be. Whether you’re an expert or just want to see how hard Silksong can get, Steel Soul mode is the ultimate challenge.

What Changes with Steel Soul Mode in Silksong

The main change in Steel Soul mode is the permadeath mechanic. When Hornet is defeated for the first time, your save file is erased, making it a very tough mode similar to the one in the previous game.

Tip: Quitting and saving right before dying will bring Hornet back to the last bench you used with full health, helping you avoid a complete run loss.

In the original Hollow Knight, Steel Soul mode affected shopkeepers—some NPCs that sell items would be killed or replaced. In Silksong, this mode makes certain items like Rosary Strings useless since your death results in losing everything. However, items like mask shards, tools, and powerful weapons become even more important.

Knowing which areas to avoid and when to return is crucial for surviving Steel Soul. Remember, quitting before death can be a lifesaver by letting you restart with full health.

How to Unlock Steel Soul Mode in Silksong

The intended way to unlock this end-game challenge is to complete the game once through any ending. After that, on your next save, you’ll see a prompt to choose between Classic Mode or Steel Soul.

Some players have discovered an early unlock method without beating the game first. By going into the extras menu and entering this code: Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, a sound will confirm that Steel Soul mode is unlocked—that is, even before starting your initial playthrough.

While attempting Steel Soul mode without experience in the main game is extremely challenging, it can be a fun way to test your skills and try a very different way to play. Just be prepared—it’s a tough fight even for experienced players.

  • Achieving Fine Pins in Hollow Knight: Silksong Through Completing and Solving

Achieving Fine Pins in Hollow Knight: Silksong Through Completing and Solving

Beyond the main storyline of Hollow Knight: Silksong, there are many hidden areas and secret spots that contain rare items. You can discover some of these through side quests called wishes, but some wishes require grinding in specific zones.

One such wish is called Fine Pins. It spans the Choral Chambers area, but there’s an easy way to complete it if you know what enemies to look for.

How to Get the Fine Pins Wish

If you’re after an easy wish that rewards you with a lot of Rosaries, Fine Pins is perfect. However, you’ll need to progress pretty far in the game first. To start this quest, you first have to unlock the Choral Chambers. This requires defeating the Last Judge boss and then proceeding through the Underworks.

Once you return to the Choral Chambers, head to the right side of the biome and climb upwards to find the next boss fight. Before entering the fight, clear the silk around the bell in the top right section of the biome. Doing this unlocks the Songclave area.

Tip: Clearing the silk also spawns a bench nearby, giving you a save point.

After unlocking the Songclave, you can receive the Fine Pins quest from the wish board there.

    Where to Find Fine Pins

To find Fine Pins, search for two specific enemies in the Choral Chambers area: Reed and Choristor. Both enemies hold a pin in their hands, and they can be found crawling around this zone.

    • The Reed is a flying creature that primarily uses melee attacks but can also throw its pin at you. It can sometimes parry your blows and then counterattack.
    • The Choristor appears more like a knight; it stays on the ground, attacking with both melee and ranged moves. It can also leap at you while spinning to inflict damage.

If you’re lucky, defeating either of these enemies will cause them to drop a Fine Pin. The item is not guaranteed, but you’ll recognize it when it drops — there will be a bright white glow on the enemy’s body and falling ground particles. Move toward the glow and pick up your shiny new Fine Pin.

Tip: A good place to farm these enemies is the Grand Bellway, where you can reset them using a nearby bench. Just outside the Bellway, you’ll find a Choristor first, followed by a Reed a little further along.

  • Unlocking the Wanderer’s Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong Guide

Unlocking the Wanderer’s Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong Guide

Even if Hollow Knight: Silksong doesn’t have as many charm options as the original game, it makes up for it with special tools and different move sets. These offensive tools and charms are already diverse, but the real strength of combat comes through the new Crest customization system.

Instead of upgrading Hornet directly, Crests let you choose themed moves and abilities to swap out your current ones. This keeps the game feeling fresh as you move forward. Which Crest you pick depends on your playing style, but there’s one that offers big advantages and is worth investing in early on.

How to Get the Wanderer’s Crest in Silksong

There are two ways to get the Wanderer’s Crest: one uses the float and dash abilities, while the other requires buying a 500 Rosary key in Bone Bottom after gathering enough currency. Both methods start with either taking the elevator unlocked in Moss Grotto or entering from the upper right via the Marrow pathways.

Once back in Moss Grotto’s main hole, you’ll need to jump up and cross a gap filled with hanging cages and flying enemies. You can bounce on these enemies or dash past them. After crossing, if you have the key, go left through the Wormways, avoiding a large enemy until you reach a locked door.

For a quicker route, unlock the door using the key, then go down through the Wormways to find a hidden area—but this uses up your expensive key that could be useful elsewhere.

If you have the float and dash powers, you can skip taking the Wormways route to the locked door. Instead, head down from the pathway entrance where there’s a broken cage hanging off a ledge. Jump off and float down near the left wall, timing a dash to land in an open window inside an overgrown habitat.

Continue left and glide as far as you can. You’ll end up near the giant bug carcass hanging in the air. No matter which way you go, you’ll eventually find yourself on the far left side of Moss Grotto. There, you’ll see a simple tomb. By passing through the tomb, avoiding traps, and fighting some haunted bugs, you’ll finally earn the Wanderer’s Crest.

What Does the Wanderer’s Crest Do?

The Wanderer’s Crest unlocks a new moveset and attack patterns for Hornet that focus on faster, more precise strikes. This comes at the cost of a smaller, less forgiving hitbox. It also offers more charm slots than other movesets, with room for a weapon charm, two support charms, and three navigational tools.

The main appeal of the Crest is that its moveset is familiar to fans of the original Hollow Knight. It replaces Hornet’s diagonal pogo attacks with downward slashes like those of the Knight. This change makes bouncing on enemies and environmental hazards much easier, and it also makes Hornet’s dash attack faster.

While adjusting to the Wanderer’s Crest can take some time, it’s especially powerful when paired with strong Needle upgrades. This combo allows you to deal a lot of damage quickly during boss fights or tough encounters.

  • Unlocking Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong – Step-by-Step Guide

Unlocking Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong – Step-by-Step Guide

After beating the final boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you might think the game’s story is over. But if you complete some optional missions, you can unlock a third act that reveals a new chapter and a special ending.

As its name suggests, you can only access Act 3 after unlocking Act 2 first. To do this, you need to reach and defeat Grandmother Silk, which is usually the last boss for most players. However, by completing certain side quests and collecting specific items, you’ll unlock more content in Act 3.

Steps to Unlock Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong

    1. Complete Nearly All Wish Side Quests
You need to finish almost every Wish quest, which are given by NPCs or on Wishboards scattered around different areas. These include battles against area bosses and optional enemies, quests that require spending currency, and missions involving finding certain NPCs. Some of these tasks are:

    • Pharloom’s Crown (Ascend)
    • Savage Beastfly (Grand Hunt)
    • The Hidden Hunter (Grand Hunt)
    • The Terrible Tyrant (Grand Hunt)
    • The Wailing Mother (Grand Hunt)
    • Various Hunt, Learn, Delivery, Donate, Gather, Search, Seek, Sprint, and Wayfarer quests listed in detail in the game.

    2. Collect All 25 Fleas
Once you’ve completed all the Wish quests, go to the Bellhart region and speak with an NPC named Pavo. Make sure you’ve gathered all 25 fleas in the game. These fleas are vital for unlocking Act 3 and are earned by progressing through your skills and story — you’ll find them gradually as you play.

    3. Move the Flea Caravan
Ensure Fleamaster Mooshka moves the flea caravan to the Putrefied Ducts area, which is a necessary step before proceeding.

Doing all these tasks unlocks a new Wish called “Silk and Soul,” which you can learn more about from an NPC called the Caretaker in Songclave.

How to Complete the “Silk and Soul” Wish

    1. Gather Four Key Items
To set the trap against Grand Mother Silk, talk to the Caretaker, who shares a plan involving four special items:

    • Maiden’s Soul
    • Hermit’s Soul
    • Seeker’s Soul
    • Snare Setter

You’ll find these items by interacting with specific characters or completing challenging quests. Upgrading your needle can help in obtaining some of these, as they sometimes involve tough enemies.

    2. Locations and How to Get Each Item

    Item Location How to Obtain
Maiden’s Soul Bone Bottom Talk to the Chapel Maid after the Moss Grotto tutorial
Hermit’s Soul Bellhart Bellway Speak to the Bell Hermit in pipes beneath Bellway
Seeker’s Soul Bilewater Left from the bench, then collect it from abandoned bellhome
Snare Setter Weavenest Atla Open a door in Needolin, then find it on a table above a bench

Collect these items as you explore, even before starting the “Silk and Soul” quest — some may already be in your inventory.

    3. Build the Trap
Bring all four items back to the Caretaker, who then creates a trap for Grand Mother Silk. When you fight Silk after setting this trap, instead of the usual ending, you’ll get a different outcome.

How to Reach the Hidden Act 3 Story and Ending

    1. Use the Trap During the Final Fight
After you defeat Grand Mother Silk with the trap, choose the “Needolin” option instead of “Bind” to trigger the secret ending.

    2. Access Your Save File
Once the credits roll, your save file will be covered with dark vines. Interact with your save to attack the vines repeatedly until they break, which restores your access to the game.

Note: Don’t worry — your progress and upgrades from Act 2 stay intact for Act 3.

    What’s New in Act 3?

Act 3, titled “Abyss,” features new areas and tougher enemies. It’s a continuation of your journey from where you left off, now with more challenging bosses. To unlock the true ending and uncover all secrets of Hallownest, you’ll need to complete “Silk and Soul” and reach Act 3.

Enjoy the new adventures and challenges ahead!

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong – All Mossberry Locations Guide

Hollow Knight: Silksong – All Mossberry Locations Guide

One of the first side quests you’ll likely come across in Hollow Knight: Silksong is called “Berry Picking.” In the game, side quests—known as Wishes—like this one and “Rite of the Pollip” are good breaks from the main story. They often give you helpful items that can boost your abilities and make it easier to explore the world.

“Berry Picking” is pretty much what it sounds like. You’ll travel through some early game areas looking for rare items called Mossberries. You only need to find three to finish the quest, but collecting a few extras can net you extra rewards. Below, you’ll find the locations of all four Mossberries we’ve found so far, as well as where to find the quest giver.

    How to Start “Berry Picking”

    Finding the Moss Druid

To begin the quest, head to the map point shown above, located in the northeast part of the Mosshome area. Inside this room, you’ll unlock the Silkspear ability—your first ranged attack, which is necessary to start the quest. There’s also a bench here if you want to switch your gear, heal, or save.

Use your Silkspear to cut through the silk strands to the east, then move on to meet the Moss Druid, a strange character working on an unusual ritual. Talk to the Druid until they ask for your help: if you bring back three Mossberries, they’ll finish their potion, and you’ll be rewarded.

You only need three Mossberries to complete the quest, but there are more in the game. The first three locations are the easiest to find, but collecting others will give you extra rewards.

    All Mossberry Locations in Silksong

    Mossberry #1 – Mosshome

The first Mossberry is close to the Moss Druid. Head left from the Druid’s lair, then drop through the gap. Go down and to the right into the next area, where you’ll see a flying bug carrying something green. Defeat the bug to get your first Mossberry.

    Mossberry #3 – Moss Grotto

This Mossberry is located at the northeast part of Moss Grotto. It’s on your way from the start toward Bone Bottom. If you miss it the first time, you can come back by dropping through the hole between Bone Bottom and the Ruined Chapel—just hold right as you fall to land on the upper ledge, then go left into the subsequent area. Jump to the lower platform to your right; if you miss it, you’ll land near the game’s starting point. Crawl around and go up and right until you reach a large east chamber where the Mossberry hangs from the ceiling, guarded by a flying bug.

    Mossberry #4 – Bone Bottom / Mosshome

This one is best collected after unlocking the elevator from Mosshome to Bone Bottom, which you can do by exploring Mosshome and activating a lever. Once you have the elevator, head to the southwest part of Mosshome. Look down from the ledge and wait for a flying green-glowing enemy to pass by—you’ll need to defeat it to get the Mossberry. You can do this with your ranged attack or by attacking it repeatedly when airborne. Be careful—falling will drop you straight into Bone Bottom, so make sure you have the elevator activated before attempting.

    Rewards for “Berry Picking”

For Finding Three or More Mossberries

Turning in three Mossberries grants you a special accessory called the Druid’s Eye. You can equip this to a blue slot on your crest; while wearing it, any damage you take adds to your silk meter, which you can use to heal or perform special moves.

If you bring back more than three Mossberries, you’ll earn 50 Rosaries for each extra berry. This is a significant amount early in the game and will help you buy important gear and items in Silksong.

Mastering these small quests and their techniques, like pogo jumping, is helpful as you progress, especially since some areas later in the game will require you to have mastered these skills. Gathering Mossberries and completing this quest is a good way to practice while earning valuable rewards.

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong – Mask Maker Location Guide

Hollow Knight: Silksong – Mask Maker Location Guide

There are many hidden details in Hollow Knight: Silksong, such as secret locations and hidden NPCs like the Mask Maker. Even though she doesn’t seem to be part of any big quests or rewards, the Mask Maker is a familiar face from the original Hollow Knight that players might recognize. She plays an important role by helping various creatures in Hallownest, so it’s worth meeting her at least once.

In the first game, the Mask Maker was found in Deepnest, where she was an intriguing character with lots of knowledge. She knew a lot about the history and stories of Hallownest, especially about the masks she crafted for different bugs. Now, as you search for items in Silksong, you might find a new character who holds this title.

Where to Find the Mask Maker

The Mask Maker in Silksong is located in the Mount Fay area. To find her, you need to have the map of Mount Fay, which you can buy from Shakra once you come across her in the area.

Maps are useful early in the game, but Shakra can be tricky to locate. To find her, go west from the quick travel point at The Slab, then use the Clawline skill to cross the hanging chains and move further west, where you’ll hear her singing.

Once you have the map, look for a room with a jetstream that pushes you high into the upper parts of Mount Fay. Head west from the first platform you see when climbing upward. In the next room, keep going west until you see a big drop.

    To reach her:

    1. Drop down and float southwest until you land in a walkable area.
    2. Go west past some ruins until you reach a room filled with spikes on the ground.
    3. Use your Double Jump and Harpoon skills to jump over enemies and climb upward.
    4. Reach the top of the room, then continue climbing higher.
    5. Keep using your Double Jump and attack bugs to ascend further.
    6. At the northwest tip of the area, you will find an entrance where the Mask Maker’s home is located.

The Double Jump ability, which you learn while exploring Mount Fay, is essential for reaching her. You’ll need to hang onto walls and make precise jumps, so it might take a few tries to get there.

What the Mask Maker Does in Silksong

Even though she’s not exactly the same Mask Maker from the first game, the character you meet in Silksong is still quite interesting. Talking to her is your main reward; her dialogue offers important insights into the world of the game.

The Mask Maker, true to her name, creates masks for bugs in Hallownest, which is a vital but often overlooked part of their world. If you use Hornet’s Charge Attack on her, you can even knock off her mask, revealing her true face underneath.

This action unlocks new dialogue and reveals more secrets about the setting, which fans of the series will find especially fascinating. For players aiming to complete Hollow Knight: Silksong 100%, finding the Mask Maker is a key step, as she adds another piece to the puzzle you don’t want to miss.

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong – Guide to All Lost Flea Locations

Hollow Knight: Silksong – Guide to All Lost Flea Locations

One of the first sidequests you can take on in Hollow Knight: Silksong is called “The Lost Fleas.” Your job is to find five lost pilgrims and safely bring them back to Fleamaster Mooshka’s traveling caravan. This quest is one of many scavenger hunts you’ll encounter early in the game. If you aren’t sure what to listen or look for, it can be a bit tricky.

Fleas are scattered across several early areas, including The Marrow, Deep Docks, and Far Fields. If you’re looking to finish “The Lost Fleas” quickly or just want to know what’s in it for you, here’s everything you need to know.

How to Start “The Lost Fleas”

There are two ways to start this quest. The first is to find the flea caravan and talk to Fleamaster Mooshka — his location is marked on the map above. Alternatively, you can begin the quest by checking the quest board in Bone Bottom after donating 200 Shell Shards to the repair effort. Once you’re at the caravan, go talk to Mooshka. You might need to speak with him twice to activate the quest.

    Finding Every Lost Flea

Here’s where each flea is located:

    Flea #1 — The Marrow

Start by heading northwest from the caravan on the map. Move west carefully over broken platforms. When you see a giant skull, turn around and go upward along the path to the northeastern part of the room. Look beneath you by pressing down on the thumbstick — you’ll see a platform to the southeast. Jump onto it to find the first flea caught in vines. Attack the vines to free it, then watch it fly away.
Tip: Listen for a faint yipping-like sound to help locate the fleas.

    Flea #2 — Hunter’s March

This flea requires defeating a tough enemy and navigating part of Hunter’s March. You might want to come back after gaining the dash ability, which makes platforming easier.
Start from the indicated map point, go east into Hunter’s March, and perform a pogo jump across the first gap. Walk into the next area and either fight or pass the red ant. Use downward strikes to climb the fruits, then go left at the first ledge. Bouncing off fruits, find a cage where the flea is trapped — break it to free the pest.

    Flea #3 — Deep Docks

Travel to Deep Docks via The Marrow or Hunter’s March. From the Bellway fast travel point, head west through an area with falling lava. Cross the lava stream carefully, then proceed up and right. The third flea is near the northeast corner of the room, past the lava, resting just beyond. You don’t have to fight it — just walk over, and it’ll head home.

    Flea #4 — Deep Docks

From the previous location, go north in Deep Docks, east of the nearby bench. Jump or dash to a small platform in the northwest part of the area — you might need to use a lever to raise or lower a weight for better footing.

    Flea #5 — Far Fields

The last flea is in Far Fields, east of Deep Docks. Start from the indicated map point, and go straight east until you see an illusion wall. Hit it several times with your weapon to reveal a hidden passage. Proceed through the narrow passage, which triggers a trap and a cage with a red ant. Destroy the cage and defeat the ant, then head further east to find the final flea in a similar cage.

Rewards for Finding All Five Fleas

After collecting all five fleas, return to Fleamaster Mooshka at the caravan. First, he’ll let you join the Flea Caravan and travel to Greymoor, unlocking that area for you. Mooshka also gives you Flea Brew — a temporary boost to your movement and attack speed. Use it at a bench by pressing Up + RB. If you run out, visit the caravan and speak with Grishkin for a refill.

Now that you’ve found all the fleas, enjoy your rewards and keep an eye out for more sidequests as you continue your adventure.

  • Where To Find And How To Complete The Great Conchflies In Hollow Knight: Silksong

Where To Find And How To Complete The Great Conchflies In Hollow Knight: Silksong

Of all the optional fights in Hollow Knight: Silksong, the Great Conchflies stand out as a boss that would fit well into the first game. They’re fun, fair, and a little silly, making them a nice challenge on the summit of the Blasted Steps. You’re more likely to find them by accident than intentionally.

Even though fighting them is enjoyable, you definitely don’t want to lose. If you do, you’ll have to trek a long way back from the nearest bench—often quite far away. Winning is essential because the reward at stake is worth the effort.

How to Find the Great Conchflies

The conchflies are an optional boss that blocks your way to the nail art called Needle Strike. The nail art is taught by the Pinstress on the far west side of the Blasted Steps map, and the Great Conchflies are waiting in the arena before her.

To get to their arena, climb up the Blasted Steps from the Shellwood area:

    – Head up where possible after entering Shellwood.

    – Use the bench above as a checkpoint.

    – Climb the room west of the bench to enter the central vertical chamber.

    – Exit the chamber at the first left part when you’re halfway up.

    – Jump left across several platforms guarded by smaller conchflies.

It’s a good idea to grab the map from Shakra in the room east of the vertical chamber on your first climb.

How to Defeat the Great Conchflies

The boss fight is simple but requires you to learn just two or possibly three moves. The fight won’t take long to learn once you get the hang of it. To avoid running back and forth between the arena and the bench, it’s best to do these two things:

    1. Study the move table and compare it with a video guide.

    2. Practice dodging projectiles by fighting the smaller conchflies around the area.

The most common attack they use is Pinburrow, where they turn to point their shells at the wall and drill into it. They disappear and reappear somewhere else in the arena, with dust and shell tips showing where they’ll next strike. Timing your dodges to side-step and avoiding corners is key.

They also perform Pin Shot: firing a small conch shell that ricochets off walls up to three times before being destroyed on the fourth hit. You can side-step these shells or hit and destroy them to bounce them back at the conchflies. Usually, the other conchfly won’t appear until after the shot has been fired. The firing conchfly then burrows, and they sometimes perform synchronized Pinburrows within a couple of attack cycles.

The fight is straightforward because the conchflies only have the Pinburrow and Pin Shot attacks, making it easy to understand and counter. Practice and understanding their attack patterns will make it quick to defeat them.

The main challenge is the long run between the arena and the bench, but the fight itself doesn’t have complex phases. To make things easier, review the move table carefully and practice against the smaller conchflies to handle projectiles better.

The most frequent attack is Pinburrow, which can appear on either side of the arena, so stay alert at every wall. When dodging, keep your dashes precise and don’t spend too much time in the air, using jumps only when necessary. Setting traps early in the fight can also help, especially using items like Sting Shard paired with the Pollip Pouch for extra effectiveness.

The other attack is the Pin Shot: a bouncing shell you can side-step or destroy. After firing, one conchfly typically burrows, and both perform synchronized Pinburrows in quick succession.

Keep facing the two flies, defeating at least one to make the boss retreat. There’s no reward for defeating the boss here unless you continue further left in this area to meet the Pinstress for the hidden nail art. Be cautious with the platforming to the left, as it involves strong winds and sand worms that double damage. If your health is low or you’re nervous about platforming, it’s wise to lure some small conchflies to the right to fight for silk before proceeding.

  • How to Defeat Trobbio in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

How to Defeat Trobbio in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

As you explore the vast biomes across Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll encounter many tough challenges, including dangerous creatures and tricky jumping sections. The hardest moments often come after clearing an area and facing the main boss at the end.

Trobbio is one of these bosses. Compared to others, this fight might feel a bit easier because its attack pattern stays the same through all phases. Still, you need to be careful about where you step.

    Where to Find Trobbio

Trobbio can be found in the Whispering Vaults. To get there, you first need to climb on the right side of the Choral Chambers after defeating the Underworks area. While doing this, you’ll pass through a small stage area blocked on the right. This is the Trobbio fight spot. But to reach it, you must enter the Cogwork Core after defeating the Cogwork Dancers, then enter the Whispering Vaults from there. The stage where the fight begins is located in the bottom left corner of the Vaults.

    How to Beat Trobbio

Trobbio is an interesting boss because it’s teased earlier in the game, but you won’t face it until much later. The fight takes place in a single phase, which is pretty unusual for a boss so far into the game. Even though Trobbio gets stunned after several attacks, it doesn’t gain new moves—just an animation change and a roar later in the fight.

A key aspect is Trobbio’s ability to go underground. During the battle, you’ll see floors that pop up, and Trobbio moves beneath them. You can track its movement by watching these floors. It reappears where the floors stop moving or performs a move called the Smoke Attack. Here are the main attacks you’ll need to recognize:

Attack Wind-Up Tells & Description How to Counter
Smoke Attack Trobbio throws three bombs that release smoke either horizontally or vertically after a short delay. Dodge around since the bombs usually won’t hit you. If hit, they’ll cause damage. You can also hit the bombs to send them back.
Fireworks Attack Before this, Trobbio jumps and makes a loud fireworks noise. Circular spots appear on the field, then explode when filled. Stay in the clear zones without fireworks or try to jump into the air to avoid damage.
Tornado Attack Trobbio moves to a corner, then charges with a tornado around it, launching tornadoes in horizontal and diagonal directions. This attack is tough to dodge. Jump to avoid the first, and learn the tornado paths to dodge the second.

When Trobbio roars and shifts into the second phase, it will launch smoke bombs underground just before spawning. It always reappears from the last smoke bomb.

    Tips for the Fight

After defeating bosses like Widow, Cogwork Dancers, and the Last Judge, this encounter becomes more straightforward. Focus mainly on dodging because many attacks limit your movement. You can find easy openings to hit Trobbio during the Smoke Attack. During the Tornado Attack, downward strikes work well since Trobbio passes through your position.

Trobbio moves around unpredictably, so avoid using dashes too much, as this might cause you to get hit. Patience and careful observation are key.

  • How to Replace the Needle in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Replace the Needle in Hollow Knight: Silksong

“Hollow Knight: Silksong” features nearly 200 enemy types and 40 different bosses, so making sure your Needle weapon is upgraded is essential. Upgrading the Needle increases your main damage, helping you defeat tougher enemies as you explore more dangerous areas. There are several stages to strengthening the Needle, so it’s best to unlock these upgrades as quickly as possible.

With “Hollow Knight: Silksong” already making waves and breaking records, it can be overwhelming to decide what to do first when you start playing. Before focusing on upgrading the Needle, you need to have some abilities unlocked. For example, if you want to deal more damage, you should first obtain the wall-jump ability in the Shellwood area before looking for Needle upgrades.

How to Find the Needle Smith in “Hollow Knight: Silksong”

One character must be rescued to get weapon upgrades

The Needle can only be upgraded by a smith named Plinney, who specializes in the type of weapons Hornet uses. However, Plinney isn’t available early in the game, and many players might have missed the spot where he can be found.

To reach Plinney, head east from Shellwood until you find a lift that takes you to the northeast part of the map. Plinney is located in Bellhart, which is just east of Shellwood. After taking the lift, go past the water-filled room and jump to the exit at the top right. Carefully slide down the walls through the caverns until you reach a bigger room at the bottom. From there, head straight west until you see a gap in the floor to fall through.

Avoid the spikes along the walls in Bellhart, as they can quickly reduce your health. You’ll need to keep your health high to defeat the boss that is preventing Plinney from upgrading your Needle.

After falling through the gap, head east through several corridors that lead to a boss room. You must defeat the Widow boss to free the residents of Bellhart, including Plinney. Once the boss is defeated, a lift will unlock, taking you to the upper parts of Bellhart where Plinney eagerly waits to help.

    How Upgrading the Needle Works

Complete quests to discover more weapon improvements

Pinmaster Plinney is an experienced smith and will offer you a free first upgrade to the Needle after you defeat the Widow. Future upgrades will require completing quests for Plinney. Many of these quests involve collecting rare materials from different parts of the world—such as retrieving Iron Silk from specific areas. Finding everything needed for Plinney’s tasks might take some time and may involve some shopping in “Hollow Knight: Silksong.”

As the game gets more challenging with stronger enemies and more damage from bosses, upgrading your weapons becomes almost necessary. Defeating the Widow early on can help you unlock Needle upgrades quickly, giving you an edge as your journey progresses into tougher territory.

  • How To Defeat The Cogwork Dancers in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

How To Defeat The Cogwork Dancers in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

The world of Hollow Knight: Silksong is filled with dangerous creatures trying to prevent your progress toward the Citadel. Among these enemies, some stand out because they have unique move sets, known as the main bosses.

As you travel to the Citadel, you’ll encounter many bosses, with the first being the Cogwork Dancers after you enter the area. These bosses follow a straightforward pattern that you can learn to avoid, but staying patient is key.

Where to Find the Cogwork Dancers

To reach the Cogwork Dancers, first enter the Citadel after defeating the Last Judge in Blasted Steps. Just after entering, you’ll need to go through the Underworks, where you’ll face many enemies. Once past it and back in Coral Chambers, head to the top right edge until you reach Songclave. Activate the dormant shrine there. From the bench in Songclave, take the top left exit and navigate the corridor guarded by elite guards. Defeat three guards to open the door to the boss fight room.

Every time you lose, you’ll need to defeat the three guards again to access the boss room.

Phase One of the Cogwork Dancers

The first phase has the bosses charging their attacks simultaneously, dashing in their fixed directions. Their moves involve shining a beam of light towards a target direction and then charging in that direction. If they charge in the air, they simply reach the destination and stop. If they charge to the ground, they stomp in a small area.

In this phase, the attacks are slow, and you can typically hit them two or three times after each charge. Position yourself close to the boss that will land on the ground after its charge, but keep your distance to avoid stomps.

    Attack Patterns

    • Attack 1: Both dancers dash simultaneously in different directions—either up, down, left, or right.
    • Attack 2: One dancer moves to the middle top and then charges down or sideways; the other moves to the middle sides, charging in the opposite direction.
    • Attack 3: Dancers are diagonally opposite, moving towards each other’s starting points.
    • Attack 4: Both dancers are on the ground on one side, with one charging horizontally and the other bowing.

Learning these patterns helps you know where to go and when to dodge.

    Phase Two: Increased Speed

After enough damage, the dancers reset to their slots with cogs turning behind them. The second phase starts, where attacks occur roughly twice as fast, giving you less time to react. The attack patterns are similar, but with shorter charge times, requiring quicker responses.

    Phase Three: Alternating Attacks

Once the health drops further, the bosses attack separately rather than together. The right dancer charges first, followed by the left one a second later. Attack frequency remains similar to the second phase but feels less intense because they alternate. This phase is simpler—focus on avoiding their attacks and staying safe rather than predicting combined moves.

    Final Phase: A Sad Ending

When you defeat one dancer, the other tries to continue attacking but less frequently. Its attacks are less aggressive and easier to avoid. After a few more attempts, the second dancer also falls, concluding the fight.

Mastering these attack patterns and phases is essential for defeating the Cogwork Dancers and progressing in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

  • How to Find All Three Plasmium by Completing and Solving in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Find All Three Plasmium by Completing and Solving in Hollow Knight: Silksong

The Wormways in Hollow Knight: Silksong are not safe places to linger—they are crumbling and filled with danger. However, daring explorers who risk their silk might unlock secrets to longer life by discovering the mysterious substance called plasmium.

If you encounter the Alchemist inside the tight tunnels of the Wormways, he will consider you his assistant in studying this strange material. With the proper tools, you can harvest the blue liquid similar to Lifeblood and gain the power it offers.

How to Start the Alchemist’s Assistant Quest

To talk with the Alchemist and start this quest, you must have unlocked the Wormways. That requires the Simple Key, which you can find in one of two places:

    • Purchased from Pebb for 500 Rosary
    • Dropped by a tough enemy at the top of Sinner’s Road

The first method is usually quicker, but either method works. Once you have the key, use it to open the Wormways door at the top left part of the Mosslands.

Note: If you’ve already reached Sinner’s Road before getting the key, it’s better to cross through Shellwood and enter from the top Wormways entrance instead of wasting the key.

Once inside, the Alchemist is located at the top center of the map. To reach him, you need the Cling Grip ability, which requires defeating Sister Splinter in Shellwood and claiming Cling Grip from the Herrah statue at the top of Shellwood.

    Getting the Cling Grip

If you don’t have Cling Grip yet:

    1. Go to Shellwood
    2. Defeat Sister Splinter
    3. Claim Cling Grip from the Herrah statue

With Cling Grip, you can climb walls to reach the Alchemist.

Tip: It’s best to wait until you’ve saved the residents of Bellhart to get the Needolin ability. This gives you deeper insight into your quest and makes the journey more rewarding.

Inside the Wormways and Finding the Plasmium

Once inside, head to the top middle of the area where the Alchemist is. From there, descend into the main Wormways area, taking a slight left past the falling worms, climbing a small hill, and then floating down toward a blue light to find a hidden alcove containing plasmium.

    There are three plasmium deposits:

    • Two are located at the bottom of the Wormways
    • The third is along the way to the lower depths

Each plasmium looks like a bright blue flower filled with liquid. To collect it, use your trap button and hold it down until the vial charges, then release to absorb the plasmium.

    Where to Find Each Plasmium

    1. First Plasmium
This one is closest to the Alchemist but less obvious. After leaving his room, go down into the main Wormways, then:
    • Take a slight left, drop past the worms
    • Climb a small hill on the left
    • Float down toward a blue light and alcove on the right, where the plasmium is nestled
    1. Second Plasmium
From the Alchemist’s room, go downward through two rooms, staying to the right. Navigate through dark corridors, and when moss appears, head right. Follow the blue light to find the plasmium hidden in moss.

    2. Third Plasmium
From the second deposit, aim for the bottom left. Head up and left, avoiding falling worms, go through a narrow entrance, dash across a room with worms, and descend a wall. Break the false wall on your left to reach the final plasmium, which is tucked into a shadowy alcove at the bottom.

Note: Exploring the area thoroughly is recommended, as a deceased pilgrim with a Memory Locket is hidden here.

    Bonus: Finding the Last Assistant

From the third plasmium, jump across spikes to a ledge. Behind a shadowed breakable wall on the left, you’ll find a large chamber containing the previous assistant of the Alchemist, now overgrown with plasmium or lifeblood—no reward is given, but talking to this assistant unlocks special dialogue with Zylotol.

    Rewards for Completing This Task

Returning the plasmium to Zylotol grants you a new charm: the Plasmium Vial. This trap item, when used, temporarily grants a blue mask of health. It doesn’t consume scrap, holds 20 charges, and can be used up to three times per rest. Although masks disappear when resting at a bench, its utility in tight situations makes it invaluable.

Special Effect: If you have the Pollip Pouch charm equipped, the Plasmium Vial will instead grant a purple mask, which bursts into venom when it expires, damaging nearby enemies—adding a strategic twist to its use.

  • How to Gather Crawbug Ragpelts in Hollow Knight: Solving and Completing

How to Gather Crawbug Ragpelts in Hollow Knight: Solving and Completing

Crawbugs are among the most frustrating enemies early in Hollow Knight: Silksong. It’s understandable that the owner of the Halfway House asked us to help get rid of them. In Crawbug Clearing, your task is to collect supplies needed to put an end to these unwanted pests at the tavern.

Fortunately, Crawbugs are plentiful in Greymoor. Finding them won’t be difficult, but battling enough of them to build a large enough scarecrow to scare these pests away is quite challenging. Going solo against swarms can quickly become overwhelming, but there’s a simple trick that makes it easier.

How to Start the Crawbug Clearing Mission

Clearing Crawbugs is one of the first quests available at the Bellhart board. To unlock it, you must have freed Bellhart from a possession. Once the quest appears, take it from the Wish Board and read the details. Then:

    • Head to the Halfway House in Greymoor.
    • Talk to Creige about the Crawbug problem.

Creige will ask you to defeat Crawbugs to help craft a scarecrow. You’ll need 25 Ragpelts, which is a tall order.

    How to Collect Ragpelts Quickly

The key to this quest is that you don’t have to fight only normal craws. Any bird creature in Greymoor will drop Ragpelts. Larger creatures tend to drop more Ragpelts, making them more efficient targets.

There are two other Crawbug species to look for:

    Species Description
Squatcraw Throws golden pins shaped like tripods.
Tallcraw Has a long cane and prefers diving and thrusting attacks.

Each of these drops about four Ragpelts on average, while standard Crawbugs only drop one.

    Fastest Way to Gather Ragpelts

The quickest route is to go directly from the Halfway House, heading past the Greymoor-Far Fields exit toward Craw Lake—the large dome area on the map. If you haven’t already, take on the Craw House challenge:

    • Enter the dome on the far right of the map.
    • Proceed into the top right room.
    • Defeat the waves of Crawbug enemies.

If you’ve completed the challenge before, simply running between Craw Lake and the Halfway House should give you enough Ragpelts to meet your quota.

Sometimes, a few Crawbugs still spawn near the Halfway House. Exiting and re-entering the exterior room will cause them to respawn, helping you reach 25 Ragpelts faster.

    Additional Tips and Details

The fastest way to reach your 25 Ragpelt goal is to start right from the Halfway House and make your way toward Craw Lake. Crops like the Craw House challenge can be very useful, and running back and forth in that area ensures consistent drops.

You can also leave the area momentarily and re-enter the exterior of the Halfway House to respawn Crawbugs, ensuring a steady supply of Ragpelts.

    Completing the Quest

Once you’ve collected 25 Ragpelts, deliver them to Creige. This will reward you with two significant benefits:

    1. A massive Craw — called a Scarecraw — will appear on top of the Halfway House after your next rest. This giant Craw prevents the Craw on top of the house from spawning again.
    2. You’ll receive an upgraded Crafting Kit, which increases the damage of all your traps by one level.

This makes clearing Crawbugs easier in the future and is a worthwhile reward for defeating some birds in Greymoor.
