    These tasks are designed to be completed gradually. Examples include:

    • Remove Night Thorns: 10 tokens
    • Harvest Zucchini or Ginger: 5-10 tokens
    • Practice mining or craft items: 10 tokens
    • Gift villagers or give items: 10 tokens
    • Cook meals, catch fish, or gather materials: 5-20 tokens

    Many duties involve gathering ingredients, crafting, or interacting with villagers. Some require several in-game days, especially routine duties and special tasks like fishing in Dazzle Beach or mining gems.

    Routine Duties and Vault Rewards

    Weekly routine duties add new challenges, and completing all duties for a week unlocks vault rewards—recolored items from older Star Paths. To claim these vaults, you need to complete all tasks for each week before the event ends. These duties may take multiple days to complete but reward more tokens and special recolored items like flowers or paths.

    ### How To Get And Use Silk

    Silk functions as the currency linked to Marathon Reward Passes, which are similar to seasonal battle passes in other live-service games. Think of it like the Deck system in Arc Raiders, the Battle Pass in Fortnite, or Warbonds in Helldivers 2.

    In the full version of Marathon, Silk will be used to unlock items and tiers within these Reward Passes. These passes are expected to include cosmetics and other rewards for your Runner Shells, though details will become clearer once the full game is out.

    During the Server Slam, Silk has no real use. There are no active Reward Passes available, so there’s nothing to spend Silk on. Even if you hit the maximum amount, you can’t redeem it for rewards. Plus, progress made during the Server Slam won’t carry over to the full game, meaning any Silk earned now won’t transfer when Marathon officially releases.

    ### Earning Silk

    Most Silk is earned mainly through your Season Level. Each time you boost your Season Level, you gain ten Silk. To level up, you gain experience points (XP) by fighting enemies, completing contracts, finishing challenges, and successfully extracting from matches. The faster you level up, the more Silk you accumulate.

    There’s also a limit to how much Silk you can hold. The maximum balance is 140, with a small overflow that pushes the total possible to about 200. When you hit that limit, the UI will show a red indicator to flag your cap.

    Since Silk can’t be spent during this testing period, reaching the cap simply means you won’t earn more Silk until the full game releases.

    How To Fish

    Fishing is one of the simplest and most relaxing ways to earn pesos. Talk to the fisherman at Pinkline Harbor and help lift his boat out of the water with Travis’s Trick Shot. This will get you a fishing rod called Rod.

    Once you have the rod, you can fish at various spots around the maps. Each fish you catch earns you pesos, so even when fishing for lower-ranked fish, you’ll still make some money.

    How To Bet On Fight Club

    Fight Club is available once the bounty missions for Senator Muppy Doo and Larry Pinkstock are unlocked. You can find it in the southwestern part of Circuit Arcadia, where a man in a cowboy hat will take you inside.

    Inside, you can bet on fights and use trap screens around the arena to influence the outcome. You can do this multiple times each night, but after a big mission, you’ll need to come back to refresh the fight rounds and keep betting.

    How To Claim Bounties

    Completing main story missions is arguably the best way to earn large amounts of pesos. These missions usually take about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on difficulty, and they award the highest amount of pesos.

    On average, you’ll earn around 4,000 pesos per bounty, with a major reward of 10,000 pesos when you finish the main story.

    How To Skate For Pesos

    You can also earn money by skateboarding. There is a short side mission in Circuit Arcadia, just north of the central fast travel point. Help Clutch deliver taxi passengers around the area by agreeing to assist him.

    Each ride takes less than a minute, and if you’re quick, you might get a tip of around 200 pesos. This makes for a good early-game grind to earn extra cash for upgrades.

    If you prefer exploring the Blue Gate map, you can still find plenty of diamond-marked trinkets. Focus your search around the Village, Ancient Fort, and Ruined Homestead.

    What to Spend Your Coins On First

    Once you’ve started accumulating coins, it’s important to spend wisely. Your first priority should be expanding your stash. To do this, open your inventory and click on ‘Expand’ in the top-left corner.

    Each storage upgrade costs quite a bit of coins, and the price increases with every level, but it’s well worth the investment. Since a lot of gameplay revolves around looting and collecting items, having a bigger stash will save you hassle when unloading gear.

    After expanding your storage, you should visit the Traders tab and check out the Gun Shop. Upgrading your weapons early on will make missions easier and improve your efficiency in gathering loot.

    A Royal Request Walkthrough

    Your main goal is to gather four Monstie eggs and deliver them to Pop-up Camps strategically placed around the map. Eggs are scattered across various areas, and picking one up will cause nearby monsters to approach. If you take damage while carrying an egg, it will break.

    To safely deliver the eggs, use the Ghillie Mantle, which hides you from monsters and allows you to sneak past them while carrying the eggs. Equipping the Tool Specialist skill in your armor can also help by reducing the cooldown time of tools like the Ghillie Mantle.

    It’s a good idea to set up Pop-up Camps in key locations beforehand, especially in Areas 6, 10, and 12, which are close to most egg collection spots. Keep in mind, you cannot mount your monster while carrying an egg, so you’ll need to run back to camps on foot. This makes choosing the quickest routes essential, as longer trips increase the risk of monster attacks.

    Also, bring Dung Pods to scare off monsters that get too close, and Flash Pods or use endemic life such as area stunners to incapacitate approaching enemies.

    Collaboration Quest Rewards

    Completing this quest not only grants special event items but also provides egg-based rewards like Silver Eggs, which can be sold for money or used as cooking ingredients. The quality of the Monstie eggs delivered influences the value of these items.

    Upon first completing the quest, you’ll receive a variety of exclusive rewards, including:

    • Twisted Reflection background
    • Breezy Trio pose

    ### Loot and Sell
    One of the most straightforward ways to earn Gold is by selling items you no longer need. While exploring, you’ll find pots, barrels, wardrobes, sparkles, and chests scattered across each region. These often contain items that can be useful in battles or sold for Gold.

    Even if you’re not doing anything specific in a room or building, it pays to explore every area for loot. You might also find Tablet Fragments along the way. Make sure to open every chest and wardrobe, and destroy all barrels and pots you come across.

    Most consumables don’t give much Gold individually, but if you stockpile them, the total can add up. Be cautious not to sell anything you use regularly or items that are hard to find again—the game will warn you if you’re about to sell something rare or important. Usually, selling old gear is your best bet; once you upgrade your equipment, sell the previous items. It’s a good idea to revisit local vendors after finishing each region to unload old gear and stock up on Gold for the next part of your journey.

    ### Play Lucky Panel
    After unlocking the Alltrades Abbey region, you gain access to new activities, including the battle arena and Lucky Panel. This mini-game is located in a tavern in Pilgrim’s Perdition. The goal is simple: match cards that are flipped and moved around to find all the pairs. Completing the puzzle rewards you with items you can sell or use to upgrade your gear.

    As you progress into higher difficulty levels, the game gets trickier. You might need to cheat a little by recording the card movements before flipping them. Using your phone or in-console recording software makes this easier. There are trophies linked to playing the Lucky Panel, so even if you’re not farming for Gold, trying it at least once can be worthwhile.

    By recording the pattern, you can choose the right cards and win valuable prizes to sell or use. Remember, your daily play limit is restricted, but sleeping at an inn resets this, allowing you to keep grinding.

    ### Battle Enemies
    Fighting monsters remains one of the most effective ways to farm Gold. Each region has at least one dungeon full of enemies from the past and present, perfect for farming battles. While you can also battle in the overworld, dungeons are more convenient because they usually have Angel Statues nearby for quick healing and saving.

    If you’re early in the game, focus on weaker enemies. Later on, Gem Slimes are ideal for farming Gold—they’re found in certain dungeons, especially after battling the Demon King in Burnmont. Keep in mind, repeatedly battling enemies will also increase your experience points (EXP), which could make your character overleveled for the story. This isn’t a big problem, but it might lessen the intended challenge of the game.

    ### Adjust Your Settings
    You can also tweak the game to earn more Gold during normal play. To do this, go into your menu, open the settings, and find the ‘Difficulty Level’ section. There’s an option called ‘Gold Acquired,’ which you can set to ‘More.’ Turning this on will increase the Gold you earn from battles, helping you build wealth faster.

    This setting can be toggled at any time, making it easy to turn off if you decide you want a more balanced challenge or don’t want to overlevel. Unlocking this also earns you an achievement/trophy for earning over 300,000 Gold, so turning it on for a while is worth considering. You can check your progress at any time via the Info tab in the main menu. Additionally, if you’re concerned about gaining too much EXP, you can lower the experience earned to prevent your character from outgrowing the story content.

    ### Equip the Gold Golem Heart
    Another way to boost Gold gain is by equipping special items. When the Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined DLC was released, a new item called the Gold Golem Heart was introduced. This item is exclusive to the DLC, called the Jam-Packed Swag Bag, which can be purchased for a few dollars.

    The Gold Golem Heart increases the Gold earned from battles by 50%. When combined with other methods, this makes accumulating Gold much easier. Just keep in mind, this item is only available if you buy the DLC, so if you’re not interested in spending extra money, you can still farm Gold effectively without it.

    All these methods, used together, will quickly fill your Gold reserves and help you unlock all the game’s content.

    Talk to Azure near the bus stop and select the Fashionwave option. She will remind you that the store only accepts Fashionwave Tokens. You can choose to visit the store or sell items.

    Here are some of the items you can sell to earn more tokens:

    – Old World Swallowtail
    – Wasp Beetle
    – Mallard Info Card

    While some items might have limits on how much you can sell at once, many winter-themed items can be sold repeatedly, including:

    – All Frostspore sea creatures

    Each week, Azure offers double the usual amount of tokens for certain items. Keep an eye out for these special deals and craft or gather those items to increase your tokens. You can also earn extra by completing challenges in the Winter Frost Season quests.

    Completing each challenge grants between 100 and 300 tokens. New quests appear each week for four weeks. Remember to click the Winter Frost snowman icon at the top of the screen to see the current challenges.

    The easiest way to earn tokens is by fishing off the coast of Winter Utopia and catching Frostpore sea creatures. These can be sold in large quantities to Azure, earning you hundreds or even thousands of tokens. Growing and selling White Radishes, or their dishes, is also a simple and inexpensive method.

    As you unlock more items, additional products will become available in the Fashionwave Store. To maximize your gains, start fishing in the winter waters and grow Radishes early on.

    Only hours spent watching the participating streams will count toward earning rewards. Similar to most Twitch drop events, unique prizes are also available for those who subscribe to participating streamers during the event. Anyone can join in as long as they own a copy of the game, regardless of whether they have an active subscription.

    ### Eligibility Requirements for Twitch Drops

    In addition to owning the game, you need an active Twitch account linked to your Tarkov profile. Your first steps include:

    1. Create a Twitch account if you haven’t already.
    2. Own a copy of Escape From Tarkov.
    3. Link your Twitch account to your Tarkov profile on the Battlestate Games website, which also requires creating a Tarkov profile if you don’t have one.

    Linking your account is straightforward. After logging into your Tarkov profile on the BSG site, click your username to access your profile. Find the ‘Linked Accounts’ section and click ‘Link’ next to Twitch. You will be directed to log into your Twitch account and authorize the link. If you have multiple Twitch accounts, make sure to connect the correct one.

    Once linked, a notification will confirm the connection. Your Twitch username will appear under the link options, and you’re all set for the event.

    ### Event Duration

    The Twitch drop event for Escape From Tarkov’s 1.0 release runs from November 15th, 2025, to November 28th, 2025. However, the feature allowing rewards for subscribing to streamers is postponed, and that part is scheduled to run until December 6th, 2025. Watch for pinned messages on streams to see when subscription-based rewards resume, as they are currently inactive.

    ### Available Drops and How to Unlock Them

    There are both free and paid rewards available through this Twitch event. To claim free rewards, just watch any stream with drop support enabled. These streams are marked with a special tag. The more you watch, the more rewards you can earn, with the progress tracked under your Twitch account in the ‘Drops & Rewards’ section. You can check your progress at any time by clicking your profile icon in Twitch and selecting that option.

    Rewards are based on your total watch time, with milestones at every hour from one to nine hours. Most rewards include rare containers and other items. Watching with sound on is necessary since muting a stream won’t count.

    Paid rewards are earned by subscribing to participating streamers. Rewards for this include:

    – 1 subscription: a custom hideout decoration set
    – 3 subscriptions: a PMC dogtag for USEC and BEAR called ‘Twitch’
    – 5 subscriptions: an Escape From Tarkov patch cap, a Miller Bros. Blades M-2 Tactical Sword (Brown), and a 3×2 Secure Container ‘Loui Peeton Belt Bag’.

    Gifting subscriptions also count towards your total, but only if the gifted sub is to a streamer who is in the event. If you receive a gifted sub, it counts toward the person who paid for it, not you. Free methods like Amazon Prime subscriptions don’t count.

    You can also renew subscriptions to make your total go higher, as long as the streamer is actively streaming Tarkov and in the event.

    Rewards are limited to once per Twitch and game account, so you can’t earn the same reward multiple times on the same account. Also, all rewards are only available in PVP mode, so keep that in mind before investing in paid rewards.

    All currencies are stored securely in your Money Bag and can be used to buy cosmetics, items, and skills. Although the game is still new, there’s already a lot to customize and prepare for your adventure.

    What Are All The Types of Currency?

    There are 12 types of currency currently in the game. Most of these are accessible as you play. Below, you’ll find details on where and when you can spend each type.

    Most Common Currency

    • Five Dynasties Coins: The most common type of currency. You can purchase items from in-game vendors with a total of 175,500 coins, which include Zhou and Song variations.

    Other Important Currencies

    • Battle Pass Coins: No weekly cap, but you can earn up to 8,850 XP per week. These coins are used to buy cosmetics and other items in the Battle Pass Shop. You earn them by completing Battle Pass missions.

    • Commerce Coins: No specific cap. These are temporary and used with street vendors and mini-games. You earn them by winning mini-games, selling caught horses, and completing quests.

    • Echo Jade: No cap. Used to buy cosmetics, passive skills, and items from the Activity Shop. You can earn Echo Jade through quests, codes, exploration, opening chests, and defeating enemies.

    • Fourfold Coins: Cost 1,500. These are used for purchasing cosmetics and house items from the Bounty Shop. You earn them by completing bounties.

    • Four Seas Letters: Cost 1,000. Used to buy cosmetics and house items in the Four Seas Shop. You get these by completing co-op bounties and activities.

    • Harmony Coins: Cost 2,000. Used for cosmetics and house items in the Brotherhood Shop. You earn them by creating co-op teams, playing multiplayer, and participating in NPC quizzes.

    • Hundred Trades Treasure Coins: Cost 2,500. These are for buying cosmetics and house items in the Hundred Trades Shop. You earn them by completing career tasks through Hundred Trades activities.

    • Jade Fish: Cost 20,000. Used to purchase cosmetics, passive skills, and items in the Activity Shop. You can earn Jade Fish through various quest and exploration activities.

    • Jianghu Reputation: Cost 1,200. Used to buy cosmetics and house items in the Sect Shop. You earn this reputation by completing daily tasks.

    • Pearls: No fixed cost. These are used for purchasing premium items and cosmetics. You buy Pearls with real money.

    • Treasure Money: No fixed cost. Used for buying premium items and cosmetics without spending real money on Pearls. You earn Treasure Money by completing quests, crafting food and medicine, and other activities.

    What Is the Staking Our Claim Event?

    Players are finally getting access to this limited-time celebration, which rewards gameplay activities like surviving, looting, and destroying ARCs. The event introduces a new currency, cosmetic items, and gear. It runs until December 7.

    How to Earn and Spend Merits

    The main currency for this event is called Merits. You get one Merit for every 100 XP you earn during gameplay. You earn XP and Merits from almost all core activities, including taking down ARCs, looting, and completing missions. The conversion from XP to Merits happens automatically, so just keep playing and earning XP—you’ll naturally accumulate Merits.

    Once you have enough Merits, you can redeem them for rewards via the event’s special battle pass. Unlike traditional paid passes, all rewards are free. To claim your rewards, go to the Staking Our Claim tab located in the top-right corner of the main screen. If you have enough Merits, you can claim items on each reward page before moving on to the next. There are three pages loaded with gear, cosmetics, weapon modifications, and Raider Tokens.

    Unlike other policy trees, completing these Economy missions provides tangible rewards, which can help your nation grow faster. To get the most out of these, it’s recommended to start with either Infrastructure Efforts or Developing a Capital Economy. These will give early boosts: Infrastructure provides extra Administrative, Diplomatic, and Military abilities, while the Capital Economy grants profits—Ducats—and increases Crown Power for a strong start.

    While you can set your own order, it’s best to aim to complete The Development of Trade last, as it requires more initial setup and resources.

    How to Complete “Develop a Capital Economy”

    This mission focuses on increasing your country’s wealth through production, trade, or loans. You’ll need to establish markets and improve infrastructure. Your first step is to grant privileges to your Burghers—artisans and vendors—raising their Satisfaction to 60%. Then, you should explore your Markets tab to start importing and exporting goods, which can be done instantly.

    Next, you’ll need to gain new Burghers by building new structures for them and weather economic pressures for a year. After that, choose your focus: either Manufactory Focus or Trade Focus.

    Manufactory Focus steps include:

    • Expand Construction Materials: produce 40 units of Clay, Lumber, Sand, or Stone, or fully develop the Resources Gathering Operations (RGO).
    • Import construction materials if preferred.
    • Ensure your city has a trade surplus of the goods.
    • Develop a way to produce specific goods, then upgrade or build additional manufactories.
    • Export the goods, aiming for a profit over one Gold, satisfying demand, and maximizing export profits.

    Trade Focus steps include:

    • Increase Trade Capacity by 10.
    • Gain 10 additional Trade Advantages.
    • Export and import four goods that turn a profit.
    • Increase overall trade income.
    • Expand into new markets by sending merchants.
    • Add at least eight Gold to your income from trade.

    Once these tasks are complete, you’ll receive Profit Dividends for 20 years.

    Infrastructure Efforts

    To develop your capital region, you need to own at least two territories, which is straightforward if starting with a good economy country. Focus on building four new structures in your capital—these could be anything that benefits your population.

    Your goals include:

    • Building Royal Courts or Republican Assemblies.
    • Increasing prosperity by 20%.
    • Raising employment to 75% and populating Nobles and Burghers.
    • Achieving full control over regions surrounding your capital.

    You should also push for centralization, control your region, and improve local food supplies. Building roads connecting regions helps, and boosting your ruler’s abilities is a bonus, especially as you control more territory.

    The Development of Trade

    This mission requires you to embrace banking and control two critical locations: a coastal port and a significant city outside your capital. Since banking is an institution that appears in specific locations, watch for it to spread naturally to your country.

    Key steps include:

    • Building a Wharf at your port, fully staffing it.
    • Upgrading to Docks if possible.
    • Constructing a Market and Entrepôt.
    • Securing the Market Center in your capital.

    Subsequently, you’ll improve your naval strength and trade influence, boosting your trade capacity and profitability.

    Traditional Economy

    This branch emphasizes rural and resource development. Tasks involve:

    • Fully expanding the local Resources Gathering Operations.
    • Waiting a year to stabilize your economy.
    • Increasing workforce by 1,000.
    • Building Rural Clothmakers to enhance prosperity.

    The final part of the Traditional Economy is building Village Marketplaces, which improves prosperity and unlocks further objectives, such as building Market Villages and achieving positive Prosperity in the region. Finishing these tasks will grant the entire region the Great Rural Center modifier for 20 years.

    By completing these missions carefully, your nation will see enhanced economic strength, better infrastructure, and increased wealth—setting a solid foundation for long-term success.

Each item has its own conversion rate, with certain offering items worth the most. Not all collected items can be exchanged for Faith, so choose wisely.

    The Best Items To Offer for Faith

    Different items can be offered to the Hokora, but common items usually have lower exchange rates. Most items available for offering also have a purpose during combat, with more valuable items offering higher Faith returns. Generally, items used in fights have higher exchange value.

    While exploring Hokora locations, remember that many valuable items, especially rare ones, are found off the main paths. Check dead ends or hidden spots, as they often contain Emas, which you’ll need along with Faith to upgrade your abilities.

    What is Faith Used For?

    Faith is primarily used to draw Omamori or to pray and increase your stats. Several Omamori can be hidden around the game, but most are obtained by drawing them from the Hokora. The initial cost to draw an Omamori is low, but it will increase with each attempt.

    Using Faith to increase your abilities:

    • You can pray at Hokora to boost max health, stamina, or sanity.
    • Each prayer costs Faith, with costs rising each time.
    • To carry multiple Omamori at once, you can purchase upgrades, each tier increasing the cost.
    • Each prayer and upgrade requires an Ema, an item scattered throughout the game.

    Since Omamori are initially limited to one equipped at a time, boosting your capacity allows you to equip more. Prioritize spending Faith where it benefits your current play style—if you don’t often use sanity or stamina items, focus elsewhere.

    Additional Tips

    Leftover Faith, Omamori, and prayer points carry over into New Game+ modes, so there’s no rush to spend everything before finishing the game. It’s wise to preserve some for future playthroughs or further upgrades.

    Another way to increase your Rip Chips is through co-op play. Joining with friends, sending invites in your current game, or finding a buddy on Discord can give you access to co-op challenges. Completing these challenges rewards you with an additional 20 Rip Chips each.

    If you’re farming chips, this bonus adds up quickly, making cooperative play one of the most efficient methods.

    Finally, Rip Chips are also earned by leveling up your Rip Score. Doing tricks around the city, chaining combos, and completing map activities all raise your Rip Score. As your score increases, you’ll regularly receive extra chips on top of your mission rewards.

    Yasuda Kinen Celebration Missions require you to win specific races during your senior year. You’ll also need to complete ten careers, so try to do one or two each day before the event ends.

    How to Win All Yasuda Kinen Celebration Races:

    These races include a mix of Sprint and Mile events. You’ll need high speed and power to win. Yasuda Kinen occurs twice in each career run, so if you don’t win the first time, you can try again. Your chances improve in your senior year because your stats will be higher.

    The Milers Cup takes place in late April of your senior year, while the Keio Hai Spring Cup is in early May, and Yasuda Kinen happens in early June. All these races are best suited for high-speed characters. Yasuda Kinen requires at least 15,000 fans to enter.

    If you own Maruzensky, you can complete all these races in one career run, since she’s good at sprints and miles. Aim for more than 700 Speed and Power to win all the Mile races. For the Keio Hai Spring Cup, you’ll need even higher stats, around 800-900.

    Sakura Bakushin O and Curren Chan are great sprint racers who gain speed fast during training sessions. If you don’t have Maruzensky, you can also use Silence Suzuka, Vodka, and Air Groove as alternatives.
