  • Ultimate Build and Team Strategy for Skia in Neverness to Everness

Ultimate Build and Team Strategy for Skia in Neverness to Everness

“Neverness to Everness” features a diverse group of characters, each providing flashy and distinctive gameplay. These characters can work together to create powerful team combos, even if you’re choosing a free-to-play approach. While Skia isn’t obtainable as a free character in the traditional sense, the chances of pulling him for free are very high through multiple free pulls. Most players will likely add Skia to their team early on.

This is excellent news because Skia is one of the best A-Rank characters available, especially if you team him up with allies that complement his playstyle. With a good build, Skia can outperform expectations, making him a strong and influential teammate in any challenge you face.

Skia is a Lakshana-based character who excels at using Gas Arcs to boost his combat effectiveness. While he might not be the strongest fighter in raw power, a well-planned team and solid build can make him very destructive. If fully awakened through free pulls, he’s definitely worth investing in.

He focuses on landing Critical Attacks, so increasing his Critical Chance and Damage is key to maximizing his potential. Surrounding him with teammates who can cover other roles will help him shine, though he’s enjoyable to play once fully set up, even if he’s not a one-man wrecking machine.

    Skia’s Esper Abilities:

    • Basic Attack: Arresting Art: Fires five hits dealing Lakshana Damage, with Fang Thrust chasing up to three enemies via his shadow.
    • Basic Attack: Territory Control: A plunging attack dealing Lakshana Damage, with extra damage if executed from higher falls.
    • Passive: Fang Thrust: Shadows attach to nearby enemies upon breaking out, dealing damage and then returning to Skia.
    • Critical Riposte: Pen to Paper: After a critical dodge, Arresting Art hits multiple nearby enemies with reduced Break Gauge.
    • Skill: Shadow Hound Chase: Skia sprints into his shadow, then unleashes an AoE attack. Each target hit splits Fang Thrust into three, leading into Shadow Hound Gnaw mode.
    • Ultimate: The Pack: Extends his shadow around him in all directions, then gathers it into a large AoE, dealing significant Lakshana Damage, and boosting Fang Thrust damage.
    • Support Skills: Include Arrest Warrant, which deals area damage with his shadow, Suppression, which stacks Remora to enemies, and Apprehension, which boosts Fang Thrust damage after using The Pack.

Best Arc and Console for Skia:

    • Top Arc: Good Boy’s Grand Adventure – increases charge efficiency, boosts team Attack after his ultimate, especially against controlled enemies.
    • Secondary Arc: Watch Your Heads! – improves attack, increases Lakshana Damage against Remora and Stain inflected enemies, and enhances Critical Damage.
    • Best Console: Street Boxer – provides bonus Lakshana Damage and Critical Chance, especially if Remora or Stain are inflicted.

    Optimal Teams for Skia:

A team that consistently applies Remora and Stain allows Skia to maximize his damage. Including Lakshana and Psyche damage dealers like Nanally, Chiz, and Jiuyuan will help execute effective Esper Cycles, increasing overall damage output. For free-to-play setups, pairing Esper Zero, Haniel, and Mint can also work well, as Haniel offers Psyche damage, and Mint and Esper Zero help facilitate triple-cycles—though with slightly lower overall damage.

    Best Awakening and Resonance Effects:

Focusing on Skia’s Awakening effects enhances his combat skills further. Fully awakening him takes time, but many players can unlock up to Level 6 early on through free rolls and events. Prioritize unlocking these effects in this order:

    1. Unbothered Appearance: Amplifies Fang Thrust damage when using Shadow Hound Chase, his primary attack method.
    2. Resolution: Upgrades his Tailed state, enhancing Fang Thrust and overall offense.
    3. Solution: Improves Fang Thrust damage against single targets—great for boss fights.
    4. Process of Elimination: Boosts overall Fang Thrust damage, providing a significant daily upgrade.
    5. Social Contract: Adds movement speed reduction to enemies with attached shadows, making Skia’s damage more effective by controlling enemy mobility.
    6. Law and Order: Raises Critical Chance and makes attacks more resilient, best saved for later stages to maximize damage.

Higher-level resonance effects, such as Cubical Survival Manual and Employee of the Month, further upgrade his skill levels and reduce enemy resistance, boosting his damage output and survivability as you continue to develop him.

  • Stats To Prioritize During Completing and Solving Based on Physical or Ability Build in Everything Is Crab

Stats To Prioritize During Completing and Solving Based on Physical or Ability Build in Everything Is Crab

Everything Is Crab has several specific build options, mainly Focused on Physical and Ability attack types. Usually, Ability builds involve poison and ranged attacks using abilities like Spit, Leech, and Beak, while Physical builds center around increasing health and dealing melee damage with moves like Body Slam.

Both types of builds work well, and this guide will cover some key strategies for each, including the best evolutions and abilities to maximize damage and stay alive in tougher stages.

Choosing to rely on just one build type isn’t usually effective in Everything Is Crab, especially at higher difficulty levels. Success depends on adapting to what options are available rather than forcing a single approach.

    Physical Builds

Starting with Physical builds makes sense since it’s the most common way to play. Even on harder levels, boosting your Physical damage and defense with evolutions such as Muscular Tissue, Plated, and Jaws helps you create a creature that hits hard and stays resilient.

    Best Physical Evolutions

When selecting attacks, I prefer to get Jaws or Body Slam first. Later, I might switch to arm evolutions like Pincers if luck isn’t on my side. Body Slam’s damage depends on how much HP you have, so if you get it early, focus on increasing your health with evolutions like Chonky.

I usually choose Alpha as my first evolution after defeating a boss if I get lucky; it’s excellent for physical strength and also boosts max health, social affinity (which is useful for social builds), and physical damage.

Alternatively, a good strategy is to go for Ruminate and pick prey affinity evolutions that help you level up faster. To ease survival, I often upgrade to Plating, then into Scales to unlock the Basking evolution, which grants bonus level gains while moving in the sun in desert areas. Since enemy creatures take damage from sunlight, this makes it easier to survive. For hybrid builds focused on physical and social traits, Exoskeleton is also a good choice.

    Ability Builds

The ability-focused approach involves prioritizing cortex for extra ability points, combined with Saliva and Spit for poison damage, and Beak for close-range ability attacks.

Ability builds often complement social builds nicely, as evolutions like Tail and Tail Wag provide additional abilities, including charms that can attract nearby creatures to join your team.

    Best Ability Evolutions

My favorite ability evolutions are Cortex and Dextrous. Cortex gives a flat boost to abilities, while Dextrous also reduces ability cooldowns. Pairing these with abilities like Spit, which can be infused with poison, lets you become a sort of poison-spitting machine — like firing a rapid stream of toxins.

Since ability builds tend to be a bit weaker in terms of health and defense, I prefer evolutions that increase dodge chances, such as Agile, which improves dodging while reducing attack penalties to allow more mobility. Ruminate is also valuable here because it scales with prey affinity, and both ability and physical builds can use Ruminate to level up more efficiently.

  • Ultimate Nanally Build, Arcs, Console, Modules, and Team for Solving in NTE

Ultimate Nanally Build, Arcs, Console, Modules, and Team for Solving in NTE

With the worldwide launch of Neverness To Everness, players can choose between two different banner types for gacha pulls. One banner remains available permanently, while the other features limited characters that rotate every three weeks. The first limited character introduced is Nanally.

You encounter Nanally early in the story. She has a very cheerful personality. Besides her role in the story, her skills also have some unique features. For instance, activating her skill allows her to walk freely on walls. To use her effectively in combat, you’ll need to properly build her with specific arcs and console items.

Nanally Overview and Esper Ability Priority

Nanally is an S-class Anima character who mainly functions as the team’s main damage dealer. She is great at inflicting follow-up damage and remains on the battlefield for most fights. When paired well with certain teammates, she can quickly reduce enemy health bars.

Before diving into her gameplay, it’s important to understand her kit, which is quite straightforward:

    Ability Name Type Description
Colucci Secret Skill Basic Attack Deals significant damage using her charged basic attack.
Colucci Howling Technique Skill Attacks enemies in an area-of-effect (AoE), then grants her the Ichi-daime’s Authority effect, increasing Crit DMG and enabling wall walking.
Colucci Ultimate Technique Ultimate Deals massive damage to enemies and summons Underboss, who then performs follow-up attacks while present.
More Than Passionate Bonus Skill Boosts Vita Pistils in the Blossom reaction from five to ten.
Fair Duel Bonus Skill Triggers additional follow-up attacks when allies deal Esper cycle damage while Nanally is in the Ichi-daime’s state. Can happen every two seconds.

When switching to Nanally, it’s usually best to start with her skill and ultimate to apply effects, then follow up with basic attacks to maximize damage. Using her while she’s under the Blossom Esper cycle yields the highest output.

    Skill upgrade order:

    1. Basic Attack
    2. Ultimate
    3. Skill
    4. Support Skill

    Best Arcs for Nanally

Nanally can equip all Plasma arcs, but her signature arc, Ready-Ready, stands out as the best choice. It grants Crit Rate on secondary stats, along with Attack, Crit Damage, and extra damage against bosses.

    Other arcs include:

    • Fluff To Fortitude: Great for stacking Attack and damage bonuses, especially when facing large groups.
    • Oraora!: Increases basic attack damage as more attacks are performed, up to ten times.
    • Us.: Provides a decent Attack and damage boost, suitable for various situations.

Best Cartridge and Module Setup for Nanally

Although the console system might seem complex initially, it’s well-designed compared to many gacha games. For Nanally, the optimal cartridge is Fireflies and the Forest, complemented by the module setup shown above. This combination allows her to trigger set effects efficiently.

Your primary stat on the cartridge should be Anima Damage Bonus, with sub-stats prioritized as follows:

    1. Crit Rate and Crit Damage
    2. Attack Percent
    3. Damage Percent
    4. Cycle Intensity

For early progress, another viable option is Shadow Creed, which boosts ATK and Crit Damage temporarily.

Note: If farming for Nanally’s cartridge using Character Pixels, aim for Fireflies and the Forest as your top choice.

    Best Teams for Nanally

Due to limited character options, Nanally’s maximum potential isn’t fully realized yet. The strongest current team includes Jiuyuan as a sub-DPS, with Esper Zero and Hathor as Esper cycle triggers. This setup enables triggering Blossom, Remora, and Charge cycles effectively.

Use Charge with Hathor as much as possible since her ultimate is crucial. Alternatively, pairing Nanally with Sakiri and Esper Zero relies on the Hexed cycle for more follow-up damage, but this team isn’t fully optimized.

Recommended fill-in: Adler is an excellent choice in the flex slot, providing shields that help sustain your team.

For free-to-play teams, pairing Esper Zero for the Blossom cycle and Haniel for Attack boosts works well. Additionally, Daffodill can be used for the Nova trigger, especially if aiming to maximize Haniel’s potential. Future updates will likely introduce better options.

    Nanally Awakening Priority

When unlocking Nanally’s awakening nodes, follow this order for optimal growth:

    Priority Name Effect Description
1 Because We’re Family Extends Ichi-daime’s Authority duration to 15 seconds (20 seconds outside combat).
2 Not a Troublemaker Doubles Underboss damage.
3 Second Member Increases Underboss duration by 3 seconds.
4 Followers Everywhere Each follow-up attack increases Nanally’s ATK by 2%, up to 20%.
5 Gang Formation Grants Nanally 2.5 Ultimate Energy per follow-up attack every second.
6 Call Me the Boss Nanally can perform an extra follow-up attack every second in Ichi-daime’s state.

Final note: If you plan to invest in her awakening, prioritize these nodes to maximize her combat efficiency and overall damage output.

  • Top Characters to Build in NTE for Completing and Solving

Top Characters to Build in NTE for Completing and Solving

Whenever a new gacha game like Neverness To Everness is released, many players immediately want to know the best characters they can build. After playing for a bit, the game offers a free S-class selector, allowing you to choose any of the standard S-class units.

While it’s important to select characters you like, choosing the right ones can significantly impact your account’s progress. You won’t be able to clear endgame content effectively with weaker characters, so here’s a complete list of units ranked based on their overall strength and usefulness.

    Basis of This Tier List

[Image of Skia, Fadia, and Lacrimosa in a cool pose]

One key thing to remember about NTE is that resources are limited because of the Character Pixels system. This means you can only build a certain number of characters, and with new characters being released every three weeks, making the right choices becomes even more important.

The best approach is to accept that you can’t build everyone and focus on your favorites. This tier list ranks characters based on their general power and utility while emphasizing those that are hardest to replace in future content.

Since NTE is still early in its development, tier lists are constantly changing. Some entries here might not match your opinions because all tier lists are subjective.

Below are the tiers used in this list and what they mean:

    Tier Description
S-Tier Characters that excel in combat with strong damage or support abilities and are hard to replace.
A-Tier Characters that are decent but can be replaced more easily as new units are introduced.
B-Tier Characters that might drain your resources but can still be built if you like them.

    All S-Tier Characters

[Image of Jiuyuan, Fadia, and Lacrimosa]

These are the characters you can build confidently:

    Name Attribute Reason
Jiuyuan Anima Great sub-DPS who regenerates her energy over time and requires little on-field presence. Buffs the Blossom Esper Cycle, making her a good pair with Cosmos units.
Nanally Anima The first limited character, capable of dealing good damage with her steady barrage of attacks and follow-ups.
Daffodill Chaos Boosts break damage and reduces enemy break bar, making her perfect for boss fights.
Chiz Cosmos Fully unlocked free character, excellent at damage output and lowering enemy Cosmos resistance.
Adler Incantation A-class unit with great damage, shielding, and increased team Incantation damage when fully awakened.
Haniel Psyche Provides attack buffs to the team, making her an excellent support for attack-heavy units.

    All A-Tier Characters

These characters are useful but more replaceable:

    Name Attribute Reason
Hathor Lakshana Early game powerhouse capable of defeating multiple enemies with her AoE, but can be replaced later as stronger options emerge.
Sakiri Incantation Great support at launch—groups enemies and boosts team attack—but her kit’s clarity is lacking, so future characters can take her place more easily.
Baicang Incantation Complex kit makes him self-sufficient and a solid buffer for Scorch, but limited synergy prevents him from ranking higher.
Fadia Psyche Deals damage mainly at low HP, which isn’t ideal in gacha games, but she works well paired with a healer.
Aurelia Psyche Versatile sub-DPS who can boost Psyche damage, especially at max level.
Skia Lakshana Similar to Aurelia, reduces Lakshana resistance and serves as a sub-DPS.

    All B-Tier Characters

These are less efficient choices or resource drains:

    Name Attribute Reason
Mint Anima Focuses on damage as a main DPS, but her damage isn’t high enough without upgrades.
Edgar Cosmos Can heal the team but lacks outside support capabilities, making him easy to replace later.
Cosmos Esper Zero Cosmos Decent early-game kit that falls off in late game because other characters outperform its abilities.

This ranking aims to help you focus on building characters that will serve you best in the long run. Remember, as the game develops, rankings may change, so stay updated with community feedback and new releases.

  • Top Builds and Team Combos for Edgar in NTE: Completing and Solving

Top Builds and Team Combos for Edgar in NTE: Completing and Solving

In Neverness to Everness, you’ll need a solid lineup of attackers and damage-dealing Espers, but sometimes your fierce fighters require a little extra support. That’s where Edgar comes into play—he’s the small, support character you find at the Eibon Antique Shop, acting as both healer and protector for your teams.

When equipped with the right Arc and Console, Edgar can become one of the most powerful healers in the game. This transformation makes him a highly adaptable teammate, capable of boosting your heavy damage output with exceptional support.

    Edgar Overview

As one of the kids hanging around the Eibon Antique Shop in Hethereau—your first stop in Neverness—you’ll meet Edgar, an A-Tier Esper who channels the Cosmos just like your protagonist. When added to your best team setups, he really gets to show off his talents.

He excels at defense and is classified as a Survival character, which means he’s mainly a tank. Using your strongest Liquid arc types for him enhances his abilities even further. While he might only be an A-Tier character, he stands out as one of the top support Espers available.

Thanks to his Skills, Edgar proves to be a strong healer early in the game. He’s straightforward to build and easy to include in your team, making him a great pick from the Scarborough Fair gacha mechanic in NTE.

“Thinks quick, looks like a kid. Is a kid, actually.”

Edgar is a playful, youthful support character whose abilities shine when managed correctly.

    Edgar’s Abilities

    Ability Description
Basic Attack: Combat Practice Performs up to five quick Cosmos Damage attacks. When airborne, pressing Basic Attack causes a plunge attack, dealing area Cosmos Damage based on fall height, up to 100%.
Skill: Wild Current Hold to channel a continuous attack at the target, dealing Cosmos DMG and healing the teammate with the lowest HP. The cooldown increases with longer use.
Ultimate: Finnegan’s Wake Creates a domain that deals AoE Cosmos Damage and gradually heals the current character over its duration.
Support Skill: Weight of Knowledge Charges at the target, swinging his bag to deal Cosmos Damage in an area.
Support Skill Enhancements Includes Charge Enhancement, which grants instant Ultimate Energy when supporting, and Unchanging Warmth, which extends the duration of his ultimate support effects by gaining Keys of Truth.

Best Arc and Console for Edgar

    • Best Arc: Call of the Twisted City increases healing bonus after using Redirect Skills.
    • Alternate Arc: Mind Royale grants Instant Ultimate Energy upon casting Redirect, usable every 20 seconds.
    • Ideal Console: Thea’s Night Tavern provides +10% HP with a 2-piece bonus, and +20% healing bonus with a 4-piece bonus.

    Team Compatibility

Edgar’s primary role as a healer means he’s good on nearly any team. He’s especially effective with Espers like Hathor and Daffodil, who deal most of the damage, with Edgar providing essential healing. If you’re aiming for more budget-friendly options, Mint and Skia can replace the damage dealers while still offering impressive DPS.

Pairing Edgar with Haniel is always a smart choice, because both serve as versatile support characters capable of fitting into various team compositions.

    Awakening Effects

Since Edgar is an A-Tier character and often pulled multiple times, upgrading him through the Awakening menu lets you unlock additional effects to improve his performance. Priority should be given to these effects:

    1. One of the Eibon Detectives: Boosts healing on critically low allies, useful for boss fights.
    2. Visitor from Planet Curiosity: Adds defensive benefits to nearby teammates.
    3. Intern Anomaly Hunter: Extends Wild Current’s cooldown-free use.
    4. Skilled Strategist: Amplifies Wild Current damage and healing.
    5. Anomaly-Loving Observer: Increases the duration of his ultimate with Keys of Truth.
    6. Guardian of the Antique Shop’s Light: Adds more HP, helpful for survival.

Maximizing these enhancements will make Edgar an even more reliable and potent support character, capable of turning the tide in tough battles.

  • Best Build and Team for Adler in Neverness to Everness: Completing & Solving

Best Build and Team for Adler in Neverness to Everness: Completing & Solving

Finally, we can explore the world of City Typhoon in Neverness to Everness, focusing on our favorite characters and fighting off terrifying supernatural foes. While many players might aim for an S-Rank character, the A-Ranks are also strong options. Adler, for example, is a powerful Incantation-based fighter who can be a great teammate when upgraded properly.

There are better characters of his type, but Adler is easy to get for free since he joins your team early after you meet Mint and visit the Eibon Antique Shop. Plus, you have a good chance of pulling him during rolls, making him simple to awaken and enhance further. Don’t underestimate him, as he can really boost your team’s strength.

    Adler Overview

[Insert image description: a shrunken Adler reassuring Mint in Neverness to Everness.]

Adler is one of the first allies you recruit, adding him to your team soon after you encounter Mint. He fights using Incantations and works best with a team that’s focused on upgrades and suitable gear. His Arc Type is Synthesis-focused, so equipping him with Arcs of the same kind boosts his combat abilities.

Once Adler gets going, it’s tough to stop him. He can become quite durable and still deal decent damage. While he isn’t the highest damage dealer, he’s reliable and consistent, making him a valuable team member.

    Adler’s Esper Abilities

    Ability Description
Deliverance Performs five quick attacks that deal Incantation damage.
Liberation Allows Adler to aim and shoot freely; each shot inflicts Incantation damage on contact.
Ignorance Dives downward swiftly, doing Incantation damage in an area. The farther he falls, the more damage, up to 100%.
Karma (Passive) Hitting enemies with Deliverance or Liberation stacks Karma, increasing damage of skill attacks.
Evil’s Bane (Skill) Sends a wave of Sunya Phantoms, damaging enemies in wide area and applying damage over time, while giving Adler a Shield of Blessing. Uses up all Karma stacks.
Revelation (Crit Counter) After a perfect dodge, counter with a strong attack that reduces enemy Break gauge.

Pristine Reflection (Support) Fires a wide-area Incantation attack.
Temperance (Support) Randomly inflicts a debuff when enemies are Scorched.
Righteous Heart (Support) Boosts Adler’s Defense by 20%.

Best Arc and Console for Adler

    • Secondary: Umbrella — increases HP by 10% and reinforces shield strength when HP is over half.

    Top Console Cartridge:

    • Kingdom’s Guard
      • 2-piece bonus: +15% Defense
      • 3-piece bonus: +20% Shield reinforcement

    Ideal Team Compositions

Pairing Adler with a strong Psyche-based character like Fadia enhances his shielding abilities, especially with Evil’s Bane lingering on the battlefield. Combining him with high-damage characters like Daffodill or Jiuyuan unlocks new offensive potentials. For a free-to-play setup, a team with Esper Zero, Mint, Adler, and Haniel works well, utilizing AoEs, buffs, and debuffs to overpower enemies.

Awakening and Resonance Effects for Adler

Since Adler joins early and can be found on multiple spaces in the gacha, players have a high chance of maxing out his awakening effects through regular play.

    | Form | When activating Tranquility, Adler gains 20 Karma stacks. |
    | Sensation | Gains 3% damage boost for each Karma stack. |
    | Perception | Increases Shield of Blessing’s reinforcement by 20%. |
    | Formation | Absorbs overflow damage up to 50% of his Defense if the shield breaks. |

    • 6-star: If Shield of Blessing is active, increases Incantation damage by 10%.

    Prioritized Awakening Effects

To maximize Adler’s potential, focus on unlocking these effects first:

    1. Form: Grants 20 Karma stacks at the start of Tranquility, making his shield and damage capabilities nearly constant.
    2. Sensation: Adds a damage boost per Karma stack, significantly increasing his damage output.
    3. Discernment: Helps keep his Ultimate ready more often, fueling his damage cycles.
    4. All Forms Are Void: Extends buff duration, keeping his shield and damage safe longer.
    5. Perception: Reinforces shield absorption, making him tougher to kill.
    6. Formation: Provides a safety net if the shield drops, contributing to his tankiness.
  • Top Build and Team Combos for Mint in NTE: Completing & Solving

Top Build and Team Combos for Mint in NTE: Completing & Solving

After the main hero, Zero, Mint is the first character you unlock in Neverness to Everness. She joins you alongside the protagonist as they learn about life in Hethereau and what it takes to become an Esper over time.

Mint is one of the best free characters in NTE. She acts as your combat partner and adds a lot of charm and energy to the team. With her strong Anima damage and the ability to grow her power steadily, she’s an A-Tier Esper that you’ll likely find useful throughout your journey.

    Mint Overview

[Image description: Mint making a plan with Zero to capture an anomaly in Neverness to Everness.]

Mint is your initial free character after Zero. As an A-Tier Esper, she focuses on wind-based Anima damage, unleashing the power of wind to maximize her damage potential in battles alongside other characters.

This lively, colorful teammate uses Liquid-type arcs during fights to channel elemental energy into her increasing Anima attacks. She stays with you through the early parts of the story, giving you plenty of time to learn how to use her effectively.

She works well with Zero, the main hero, who she’s paired with initially. Because of her high basic attack power and relentless charging cycle, she’s excellent on elemental teams as a damage dealer.

    Mint’s Esper Abilities

    Ability Description
Basic Attack: Perfect Containment A series of up to five hits dealing Anima damage. Includes “Justice from Above,” where Mint jumps and plunges down, with damage increasing based on fall height (up to 200%) and “Minty Whirlwind,” where holding the attack spins her around creating a tornado that drains stamina and damages nearby enemies continuously.
Skill: Overdrive: Super Claw Mint dashes forward then back to her start point, hitting enemies twice along her path with Anima damage.
Ultimate: Overdrive: Thunderous Whirlwind Slash She channels wind into her blades, turning them into wind blades that deal multiple Anima hits in an area, with a powerful final strike.
Support Skill: Ultimate: Invincible Tornado Slash Mint jumps and performs a piercing attack, causing Anima damage in an area.
Support Skill Enhancement Includes upgrades like expanding damage zones and increasing her defense and resistance stats when on the field.

    Combat Abilities in Action

[Image description: Mint making a plan with Zero to catch an anomaly.]

Her combat moves are designed for impressive elemental damage output. Her cycle-themed skills help her stay charged and ready to deal significant damage, making her a reliable damage dealer for elemental teams.

Best Arc and Console for Mint

    Best Arcs:

    • Clear Skies increases Anima damage from her skills and ultimate by 20%.
    • Shiny Days boosts break damage and adds extra damage against broken units.

    Best Console Cartridge:

    • Fireflies and the Forest
      • 2-piece bonus: +10% Anima damage
      • 4-piece bonus: Crit damage increased by 8% when enemies take Anima damage, stacking up to seven times for ten seconds each.

    Best Team Combinations for Mint

Pairing Mint with Zero is highly recommended. Their combined Anima and Cosmos damage make a powerful combo for multi-element teams, especially if you add a member with a different element for balance. Teams with Nanally work especially well once Mint is awakened enough to benefit from Blossom synergy. If Nanally isn’t available, Skia can be a good free alternative, providing buffs and support with Lakshana.

    Best Awakening Effects for Mint

Since Mint is relatively easy to pull from the gacha, you’ll be able to awaken her often. The recommended order for awakening is:

    1. Lunch Break – boosts critical chance when she’s fighting the last enemy, even bosses.
    2. Re-Examination – increases damage of her main skill, which she’ll use frequently.
    3. First Instinct – activates often as her redirect and awakening effects line up.
    4. Elite Member – helps her get quick kills on low-HP enemies.
    5. Attendance Bonus – makes her more effective on Blossom or Hexed teams.
    6. Task Force Operation – resets her Ultimate cooldown, especially useful if you’re skilled at avoiding damage with dodges and parries.

Because she’s likely to be awakened many times, these enhancements significantly improve her performance and help you maximize her potential in battle.

  • Ultimate Bow Build for Completing and Solving in Crimson Desert

Ultimate Bow Build for Completing and Solving in Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert provides many ways to engage with its combat system, from hand-to-hand grappling to ranged attacks with bows and arrows. While using swords like Frozen Anguish or Darkbringer can be appealing, Kliff’s bow and arrow skills are highly effective once you understand how to utilize your equipment and abilities.

In this guide, we’ll explain why choosing a bow-focused build is beneficial, the best gear to support it, and some helpful tips to maximize your performance with this playstyle.

    Why Choose a Bow Build?

Early in the game, bow and arrow setups might feel underwhelming, but by midgame—or sooner with some effort—you can develop a top-tier bow build. This setup enables you to take down some of the toughest bosses, such as the Stone Giant or Antumbra’s Spear, with ease. Your arrows can quickly shred enemies from afar, making fights faster and safer.

While you can focus on powerful swords, leveraging your bow’s capabilities allows for a different kind of combat effectiveness. Your ranged attacks can deal significant damage, especially when paired with the right skills and gear.

    Key Equipment and Tips

The effectiveness of your bow build depends largely on your skills and the Abyss Gear embedded into your weapons and armor. The more effort you put into acquiring optimal gear, the stronger your build becomes. Here’s how to assemble the best setup with minimal hassle:

    • Weapon Choice: The Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow stands out as the best option due to its bonus effects and extra customization slots. Adding the Health Siphon Lv. 1 Abyss Gear helps restore health as you land hits, while the two extra slots enable embedding more gears to enhance damage and utility.

    • Abyss Gears: For your bow, Infinite Arrows Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 are ideal. Stacking these ensures a 100% chance to return arrows upon firing, effectively granting unlimited ammunition. The process involves rerolling Abyss Gears using a witch’s Craft Abyss Gear feature until you obtain both versions, then paying for additional sockets and embedding the gears.

    • Armor Selection: Focus on armor pieces that can hold Abyss Gears that support your playstyle. The Frostcursed Plate Boots are great because they can incorporate both Composure 3 (to regain Spirit) and Vigor 3 (to boost stamina regeneration), allowing you to spam evasive and offensive skills.

Skills for an Effective Bow Build

Prioritize skills that enhance your mobility, attack rate, and damage output while keeping you safe:

    1. Focus: Regenerates Spirit and provides openings to attack.
    2. Focused Shot: Slows time to aim precisely, especially useful mid-air.
    3. Marksmanship: Boosts normal attack damage; a must-have for stronger hits.
    4. Evasive Shot: Allows quick firing after dodging, letting you move and attack simultaneously.

Supplement these with later skills like Evasive Roll and Charged Shot as your gear and abilities develop. Evasive Roll pairs well with Evasive Shot, allowing you to dodge around while unloading arrows. Charged Shot can deal massive damage to larger enemies or structures but isn’t essential early on.

    Optimizing Gear

To finalize your setup, choose a bow with good bonus effects and slots for your Abyss Gears. The Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow is recommended for its high potential. Embedding Infinite Arrows ensures your quiver practically never empties.

For armor, select pieces that maximize Abyss Gear slots and effects. The Dark Marksman’s Plate Cloak provides a stylish look suited to your archer, though it doesn’t have gear slots, so supplement it with armor pieces that do.

    Abyss Gears to Use

    For your primary bow, equip:

    • Infinite Arrows Lv. 2 (40% chance not to consume arrows)
    • Infinite Arrows Lv. 3 (additional 60% chance)

Stacking these gears provides a near-perfect chance to never consume arrows, making your bow virtually infinite.

To get these, reroll Abyss Gears using a witch until you secure both versions, then pay for additional sockets and embed them into your bow.

    Additional Abyss Gears

Heling your armor and weapons with gears like:

    • Composure 3 (recovers 0.3 Spirit/sec)
    • Vigor 3 (recovers 6% stamina/sec)

helps maintain your agility and Spirit, allowing continuous use of skillful shots and dodges. The Frostcursed Plate Boots are a solid choice, accommodating these gear effects without extra hassle.

How to Use Your Infinite Arrows Build

Once equipped, focus on firing Explosive Arrows constantly. Head to vendors like Norden at the Back Alley Shops in Pailune to purchase these selectively. With Infinite Arrows embedded, you can unleash explosive barrages on bosses and enemies without concern for ammunition.

Engage enemies with a combination of spammed Evasive Rolls, quick shots via Evasive Shot, and precise Focused Shots from above. Using Kliff’s glide ability, you can attack from high ground, striking safely from out of reach.

By following this approach, your bow build will excel in combat, allowing you to eliminate foes efficiently and enjoy a dynamic ranged playstyle.

  • Farming, Building, and Decorating Your Airship in Everwind: Complete Guide

Farming, Building, and Decorating Your Airship in Everwind: Complete Guide

Unlike other pixelated sandbox survival games, in Everwind, you won’t be building a permanent home base. The game embraces the idea that “the sky’s the limit,” so you’ll find yourself spending a lot of time on your airship.

Whether you’re aiming to improve your airship, need tips for passing the time during flights between islands, or want to try farming during the game’s early access period, our guide covers everything to help you make your airship feel more like a home in the sky.

How to Set Up Your Airship Essentials

Once you’ve built the Cockpit, Energy Generator, Wooden Engine, and Wooden Balloon to get started in Everwind, the game will lead you to the nearest available airship to claim. Step onto it, interact with the Flying Ship Core, and the remains will be yours to customize as you fly through the skies in this open-world survival game.

It’s important to know that the Flying Ship Core can’t be moved once the ship is yours. While you can break down and reassemble other parts of your ship anywhere you like, the core is fixed in place.

After claiming your ship, you will respawn at the Cockpit whenever you teleport using the Compass or after dying. Since your main way of exploring is on your airship, there’s little point in building a home on an island, unless you mark it specifically. As you venture farther away, it will feel less practical to respawn on a particular island, and living mainly on your ship becomes the natural choice.

To keep your ship functioning, turn off the Energy Generators when you’re not flying to save fuel. Think of your ship like your vehicle—you wouldn’t leave it idling in a parking lot without reason.

Make your ship look more like your own by customizing it with different blocks and ideas. Upgrading its size allows more space, and building vertically is also an option. Early on, your ship might be just a simple craft made from basic materials, but as you progress, you’ll need more room for additional crafting stations and storage, especially in multiplayer. Once essentials are set, you can decorate and upgrade your ship to your liking. During long flights between islands, it’s smart to set a direction and then disengage from the cockpit to focus on organizing, decorating, cooking meals for exploration, and other activities.

How to Decorate and Build Your Ship

You’re free to decorate your ship as much as you want. There are almost unlimited options for customization, including building dedicated crafting areas, navigation stations, fences for safety, and more. You can turn a basic raft into a fully equipped vessel with custom design and functionality.

Most decorating items are crafted from shared base materials. Recipes for these items can be found in the game’s Compendium, which breaks down into categories like:

    • Mechanisms (flying ship parts, pipes, mechanisms)
    • Traps (spikes, gas traps, turrets, launchers)
    • Containers (chests, dressers, vases, urns, other storage)
    • Lighting (fire pits, wall lights, candles)
    • Doors & Hatches (normal doors, double doors, gates)
    • Seating (stools, chairs, thrones, benches)
    • Tables (small, medium, large)
    • Beds (bedrolls, single, double, bunkbeds)
    • Decorative Objects (fences, flags, statues, banners, gravestones, village objects, emblems, scaffolds, cages, floor grates, tents, mine objects, pillars)

Some items have multiple versions that differ in patterns or style, so don’t be discouraged if you see duplicates.

What Can You Make at the Carpenter Station?

Here are some common items and their recipes:

    • White Candle: 1 Rope + 1 Fat
    • Wooden Fence: 20 Forestwood Planks + 10 Copper Nails
    • Small Sandstone Pillar: 8 Sandstone
    • Wooden Frame Window: 4 Glass + 4 Sticks
    • Wooden Stool: 5 Forestwood Planks + 1 Rope
    • Wooden Torch Holder: 12 Forestwood Planks + 4 Ropes
    • Medium Sandstone Dresser: 3 Tropicalwood Planks + 3 Sandstone + 4 Copper Nails
    • Stone Crystal Dust Holder: 6 Rocks + 4 Forestwood Planks
    • Wooden Chest: 14 Forestwood Planks + 8 Copper Nails

There are many variations for some items, so exploring recipes thoroughly will help you customize your ship.

    Farming in Everwind

While there is plenty of food on the islands, farming allows you to reliably gather produce for meals, which restore health, stamina, and serve as ingredients in crafting. To start farming, you’ll need:

    • At least one wooden pot or better container placed on your ship
    • Suitable farm soil matching the environment where your crop grows (e.g., desert soil for cactus)
    • A sapling for each pot, depending on the crop type
    • Something to water plants, like a bucket of water

Always keep your crops watered, as they tend to rot if neglected. Watering them again can revive crops that begin to decay.

    Produce and Their Effects

    Biome Crops & Effects
Forest Blueberry (Restores 6 HP over 3 seconds), Corn (restores 6 HP), Tangerine (restores 8 HP)
Swamp Wildberries (Poison damage over 15 seconds), Jelly Fruit (restores stamina)
Desert Cactus Fruit (Restores 6 HP over 3 seconds)
Rotten White Baneberry (Poison damage over 15 seconds)

Farming helps ensure you have fresh ingredients for your recipes and keeps your exploration well-supplied.

    Summary

Your ship in Everwind is your base in the sky—you can decorate it to your heart’s content, upgrade its size, and build structures and devices to suit your style. The game encourages customization, so feel free to turn your vessel into a floating fortress, a cozy home, or a sleek machine of war. Planning your routes, managing supplies, and maintaining your ship’s condition are key to surviving and thriving in the skies of Everwind.

  • Top Silent Build, Cards, & Relics for Completing in Slay the Spire 2

Top Silent Build, Cards, & Relics for Completing in Slay the Spire 2

When playing your first game with The Ironclad in Slay The Spire 2, you’ll pick up plenty of useful tips. By the end of this run, you’ll unlock a few Epochs, and one of these will introduce a new character called The Silent. This character is one of the most enjoyable to play because of their high damage potential.

As The Silent, you have a variety of builds to try. You can experiment with combining different strategies, though some are more effective than others. Choosing the right build increases your chances of beating the game on any difficulty level.

    The Best Silent Build

The most reliable build for The Silent is the Shiv build. While Poison is also a decent option, it often takes longer to set up, especially when luck isn’t on your side. Poison strategies can feel less powerful because they rely on enemies taking turns to stack damage over time. The Shiv build, however, is more straightforward and consistently strong.

    The Archetype

The Shiv build is popular because it highlights high-damage cards that you can play for free. Shivs are essentially one-use cards, but they are useful since they deal damage either to one or multiple enemies. Your main goal is to create a deck packed with Shivs right from the start of the battle, maximizing your damage output.

To do this effectively, you need to build your deck with specific key cards and avoid unnecessary cards that clutter your hand. Sometimes, it’s better to skip adding certain cards after fights if they don’t fit your strategy.

    The Best Cards for Shiv

The core cards to include in a Shiv deck are those that help you add Shivs easily and boost their damage. Top choices are:

    • Leading Strike: Costs 1 energy; deals damage and adds a Shiv.
    • Blade Dance: Costs 1 energy; adds multiple Shivs (three or four, upgraded).
    • Cloak and Dagger: Costs 1 energy; provides some defense and adds a Shiv.
    • Infinite Blades: Costs 1 energy; gives you a Shiv at the start of each turn.
    • Storm of Steel: Costs 1 energy; replaces your hand with a Shiv.

Prioritize upgrading Infinite Blades, Storm of Steel, and Blade Dance throughout your runs. These enhance your ability to generate many Shivs quickly, keeping damage high and consistent.

    Enhancing Shiv Damage

As you gather more Shivs, you’ll want to increase their damage output, especially when upgraded. The key cards here are:

    • Accuracy: Costs 1 energy; increases Shiv damage for the rest of the battle.
    • Strangle: Costs 1 energy; deals damage and gains additional damage per Shiv played.
    • Fan of Knives: Costs 2 energy; adds multiple Shivs to your hand, which then damage all enemies once upgraded.

Fan of Knives is a powerful upgrade that allows all Shivs to hit all enemies at once, significantly increasing your damage potential. Upgrading Accuracy and other Shiv cards maximizes their impact.

    Support and Deck-Accelerating Cards

To shuffle your deck efficiently and deal high damage, include cards like:

    • Dagger Spray: Hits all enemies twice.
    • Prepared: Draws and discards a card, helping cycle through your deck faster.
    • Flechettes: Deals damage based on the Skill cards in your hand.
    • Expose: Removes enemy block and applies Vulnerable, making them take more damage.

Among these, Expose stands out as especially useful, as it strips enemy defenses and amplifies damage output, which is vital when facing foes that rely on blocking.

    Key Relics for Shiv Builds

While you might not find all desired relics on every run, some significantly boost your Shiv strategy when obtained:

    • Ninja Scroll: Starts each battle with three Shivs, giving an early damage boost.
    • Yummy Cookie: Instantly upgrades four cards, which can include key Shiv upgrades.
    • Neow’s Torment: Returns two cards from your discard pile; useful if you can retrieve powerful Shiv or support cards.
    • War Paint: Upgrades two random skill cards when you acquire it, benefiting Shiv and defense cards.
    • Mercury Hourglass: Deals damage to all enemies at the start of each turn, stacking with Shiv damage.
    • Ornamental Fan: Provides defense when you play three Shiv cards in one turn.
    • Paper Frog: Increases the damage enemies take from Vulnerable effects, crucial for this build.
    • Toxic Egg: Upgrades cards automatically when obtained, helping you strengthen key Shiv or support cards later.

    Essential Relic Cards

Certain relics can make a big difference, even if you haven’t acquired them early:

    • Toxic Egg: Upgrades cards when you find it, rapidly improving your deck.
    • Mercury Hourglass: Adds consistent damage to all enemies each turn.
    • Ornamental Fan: Boosts defense by gaining block after playing multiple Shiv cards.
    • Paper Frog: Amplifies enemy vulnerability effects for increased damage.

Focusing on these relics will help maximize your Shiv build’s effects and overall damage output.

This streamlined build requires paying close attention to card upgrades, relics, and maintaining a deck with high Shivs and damage boosts. Properly managing your hand and sequencing your attacks are key to winning consistently with The Silent using this strategy.

  • Top Kusarigama Build Strategies in Nioh 3 for Completing & Solving

Top Kusarigama Build Strategies in Nioh 3 for Completing & Solving

Nioh 3 features a variety of Ninja-style weapons, and the Kusarigama stands out as particularly unique. The optimal build for this weapon focuses on controlling groups of enemies and repeatedly attacking single foes by frequently chaining hits. Unlike shorter-range ninja weapons, the Kusarigama lets you stay just outside an enemy’s immediate reach, attacking from mid-range before committing fully, especially when their Ki starts to decline.

Since the game rewards strategies that emphasize Ki damage and strategic positioning, the Kusarigama’s chaotic attack style can leave you open to counterattacks if your timing is off or if your loadout isn’t set up properly. When properly built, however, this Kusarigama setup offers perfect control over almost every encounter you face in Nioh 3.

    The Best Kusarigama Build

Because the Kusarigama excels at mid-range combat with quick strikes, the best build centers on inflicting the Blustered status effect using Wind damage. Blustered not only reduces enemy damage output but also works well with armor and passive bonuses that boost Ki damage and overall effectiveness.

Here’s a guide to the ideal Kusarigama setup:

    Aspect Recommended Setup
Key Stats Skill, Constitution, Magic, Heart
Weapon Spy’s Kusarigama (Reduces Ki consumption on quick attacks)
Armor Fuma Chief’s set (High defense, enhances Wind damage, increases Ki damage against Blustered enemies, supports dodge Ki consumption and Ki recovery)
Accessories Items that boost Ki recovery speed, reduce dodge Ki costs, and increase Ninjutsu damage
    Guardian Spirit Nekomata
Soul Cores Yang – Kamaitachi; Yin – Nurikabe or Otoroshi
Ninjutsu & Kusarigama Skills Deadly Mark, Whirlwind (Wind), Renegade Dragon, Black Bind, Uncanny Breeze, Shuriken, Caltrops
Core Skills Dodge, Ninjutsu Cultivation, Attack and Defense Masteries, Ki-Sapping Follow-up

Stats — Scaling Damage While Maintaining Control

As the game levels up, weapon effectiveness depends on selected attributes. Prioritizing Skill increases Kusarigama damage and enhances Ninjutsu capabilities. This build relies on both martial arts pressure and Wind effects, making Skill the top investment.

Constitution is also important but primarily as a survivability buffer. You don’t need heavy armor or tank stats; instead, enough health helps you survive heavy attacks, especially during boss fights where a single hit can be deadly.

Mentally, raising Magic allows activation of certain Soul Core bonuses and improves elemental scaling, which supports inflicting the Blustered status more reliably. Heart mainly helps maintain extended combos through extra Ki and faster Ki recovery, keeping your attack strings flowing smoothly. For the best performance, focus on higher Arts Proficiency Power and Ninjutsu Power rather than just increasing health, as mobility and evasion are your best defenses.

    The Best Kusarigama Weapon

The Spy’s Kusarigama is considered the top choice for early to mid-game builds because it reduces Ki consumption on quick attacks, allowing you to chain attacks longer and disengage safely. It’s easily obtainable by forging it with the Blacksmith in the Eternal Rift.

If the Spy’s Kusarigama isn’t available early, any weapon with effects that lower Ki consumption, boost melee Ki damage, or drain Life with quick attacks will work well. The key benefit of the Spy’s version is maintaining Ki efficiency during rapid attack chains crucial for this build.

    Armor Specifics

The ideal armor set for this Kusarigama build is the Fuma Chief’s set. Equipping all six pieces boosts Wind damage and increases Ki damage against enemies weakened by Blustered. Despite being medium armor, the pieces are lightweight enough to keep your Agility at B—essential for quick dodging and mobility. Heavier armor reduces your ability to evade, which is critical for a build that relies on swift movements and precise timing.

If you can’t find the full set early on, armor with high Defense and effects like Dodge Ki Consumption and Ki Recovery will suffice temporarily. Prioritize mobility over marginal increases in defense when choosing armor.

    Accessory Specifics

When selecting accessories, focus on those that boost Ki Recovery Speed or reduce Dodge Ki Consumption. These enhancements make longer fights safer by allowing more frequent evasion and sustained attack sequences. Boosting Ninjutsu Damage or Wind elemental damage also helps apply the Blustered effect faster and more reliably. Small improvements in Ki management can significantly extend your effectiveness throughout prolonged battles.

    Guardian Spirit

Nekomata stands out as the best Guardian Spirit for this build, thanks to bonuses that increase Ninjutsu Ki Damage, Ki Recovery Speed, and quick attack brokenness—perfectly complementing the fast-paced, mobile style of Kusarigama combat. Although Kurama Tengu is a good alternative, especially for boosting elemental and Ki damage, Nekomata’s advantages make it ideal for ninja-oriented fighting.

    Soul Cores

The recommended Soul Cores are Kamaitachi in the Yang slot and Nurikabe in the Yin slot. Kamaitachi enhances Wind damage and decreases Dodge Ki costs, empowering your ability to inflict Blustered and dodge efficiently. Nurikabe grants access to Steel Talismans, providing temporary defense boosts to help survive critical damage windows. Alternatively, Otoroshi offers Barrier Talismans that speed up Ki recovery and dispel Yokai Realm effects, offering additional control.

    Ninjutsu & Kusarigama Skills

To utilize this build fully, employ skills that create opportunities and apply pressure:

    • Deadly Mark: Engage enemies from mid-range with multi-hit strikes, applying Ki pressure and inflicting status effects.
    • Whirlwind (Wind): Control crowds and keep enemies Blustered with its wide arc.
    • Renegade Dragon: Drain enemy Ki quickly, setting up for follow-up attacks.
    • Black Bind: Pull enemies toward you or, if they are immovable, pull yourself closer for tactical positioning.
    • Uncanny Breeze: Rapidly inflict Blustered by casting wind-based magic.
    • Shuriken & Caltrops: Chip damage safely from a distance while maintaining control and gathering Ki.

    Skills

Complement your attacks with passive skills like Dodge (reducing Ki consumption when evading), Ninjutsu Cultivation (boosting overall damage), and Ki-Sapping Follow-up (extra damage to winded enemies). Defensive skills from the Samurai tree, such as Attack and Defense Masteries, help offset the build’s inherent fragility by increasing defense during quick style shifts. Still, survivability relies more on evasion and Ki management than on heavy armor.

In essence, this Kusarigama build emphasizes agile play, strategic use of Wind and Ki effects, and precise timing to dominate enemy groups and bosses alike.

  • Top Dual Ninja Swords Build for Completing and Solving in Nioh 3

Top Dual Ninja Swords Build for Completing and Solving in Nioh 3

The top Dual Ninja Swords build in Nioh 3 aligns with Ninja Style’s focus on quickness and swiftly defeating enemy Yokai. This setup is most effective when you stay aggressive and keep attacking non-stop. Instead of relying on heavy, slow strikes, this weapon benefits from rapid combos that quickly apply harmful effects, dealing steady damage while gradually draining enemy Ki.

Since Dual Ninja Swords are shorter-ranged and don’t depend much on bulky stats, your character will be more fragile than with a powerful Samurai Odachi build. However, this guide explains how to choose gear and skills to cover those weak spots, boosting both defense and offense.

The Best Dual Ninja Swords Build

Dual Ninja Swords excel at quick strikes and frequent hits. The best strategy is to apply multiple elemental effects, especially to trigger Confusion—causing enemies to stagger and slow down, while also adding damage. Combining Burn or Wind effects with Water works particularly well because fast multi-hit combos can inflict status ailments more rapidly than other weapons.

    The overall best build includes:

    • Key Stats: Focus on Heart, Intellect, Magic, and Constitution. These keep your long combo potential effective without spreading your points too thin.

    • Weapons: Use high-damage dual blades like the Mino Dual Uchigatana, especially those with elemental effects such as Wind and Fire for Confusion.

    • Armor: Wear light Ninja armor with bonuses to Ki Recovery Speed and Dodge Ki Consumption, maintaining high mobility.

    • Accessories: Choose items that greatly boost Defense, Effect Duration, Elemental Accumulation, or Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) to support aggressive play.

    • Guardian Spirit: Kurama Tengu or Enko are suitable, providing elemental bonuses and Ki benefits.

    • Soul Cores: Kamaitachi (Yang) for wind buffs and reduced Dodge Ki use, Magatsu Warrior or Infernal Oni-bi (Yin) to enhance Ki Recovery and elemental buildup.

    • Ninjutsu & Swords Skills: Use Water Sword, Demon Dance, Heavenly Chain, Shuriken, Uncanny Flame, and Cicada Shell to maximize damage and mobility.

    • Skills: Focus on Panacea Curefast, Armor Piercer, Dodging, and Awakening to heal, increase damage against tougher enemies, and lower Ki costs.

Stats — Focus on Speed, Not Raw Power

Maintaining a balance of critical stats—Heart, Intellect, Magic, and Constitution—keeps your build efficient, especially for long combos. Prioritize Heart early on to increase your Ki pool, recovery speed, and health, enabling prolonged aggression. Intellect and Magic improve Ki recovery and elemental effects, making your status triggers like Burn and Confusion more reliable. Constitution adds survivability, allowing you to endure close-range fights without sacrificing mobility.

    The Best Dual Ninja Swords

Select blades with elemental bonuses or effects tied to Heart or Magic. Because the attack speed is high, including effects such as Scorched (from Fire) and Blustered (from Wind) helps build up status effects faster, inflicting ongoing damage and reducing enemy damage output.

A recommended early-game weapon is the Mino Dual Uchigatana, which reduces Ki consumption for quick attacks by 1.9%, allowing you to land more hits before Ki runs out. You can forge it with the Blacksmith in the Eternal Rift using resources like Wood, Ingot, Tamahagane, and Lacquet.

    Armor Specifics

For mobility-centered builds, keep your Agility at A or B. Light Ninja armor strikes a good balance, offering speed and survivability. Look for pieces that increase Ki Recovery Speed, Dodge Ki Consumption, and Life Recovery to maintain agility and sustain effort during combat. Reducing Dodge Ki consumption is especially helpful, as it allows more evasive actions and prolongs your ability to avoid damage.

Heavy armor provides toughness but often hampers mobility—less ideal for this style of play, where quick movement and attack rhythm are key.

    Accessory Focus

Choose accessories that reinforce elemental effects or Ki and health recovery. Items like Omamori charms and fans with bonuses to Wind or Fire damage, along with Ki Recovery effects, are best suited for this build. These enhancements allow you to deal damage more swiftly and recover quicker from combat maneuvers.

    Guardian Spirit

Kurama Tengu is perfect, thanks to its bonuses to Martial Arts Ki Damage and elemental effects, making skill chaining and elemental triggers more effective. Alternatively, Enko can be used if more focus on Burn buildup is desired, as it boosts fire damage and damage-over-time effects. Both spirits help ensure your elemental pressure remains high.

    Soul Cores

Prioritize cores that boost speed and elemental pressure. Kamaitachi (Yang) increases Wind damage and reduces Dodge Ki use, perfect for Confusion builds. Magatsu Warrior benefits your Ki Recovery, while Infernal Oni-bi enhances fire elemental buildup, helping trigger effects faster. Equipping three fire Talismans alongside these cores can amplify your fire damage potential significantly.

    Ninjutsu & Sword Skills

Use Ninjutsu tools like Shuriken for ranged damage and disruption. The Uncanny Flame skill rapidly builds Burn status without interrupting your combo flow. Cicada Shell allows for a free teleport behind enemies to strike safely, and skills like Water Sword and Heavenly Chain enable consistent damage during openings. Demon Dance helps maintain close proximity, with safe disengagement options if needed.

    Additional Skills

Include skills like Panacea Curefast to boost healing from Elixirs, Armor Piercer to increase damage against stronger Yokai and bosses, and Dodging for efficient evasion. Improving your ability to adapt and recover makes your aggressive style more sustainable throughout battles. Lowering Ki costs for dodges enhances your combat endurance, keeping your offensive flow uninterrupted.

  • How to Build a Mono-Red Aggro Deck: Completing and Solving in MTG Standard

How to Build a Mono-Red Aggro Deck: Completing and Solving in MTG Standard

Mono-red aggro is a classic and popular deck in Magic: The Gathering. It’s a great choice for beginners or players who want to end games quickly rather than in long, slow battles for control. With more cards legal in the Standard format than ever before, there are many ways to build a solid mono-red deck. Few wins feel as satisfying as making your opponents surrender early, overwhelmed by your aggressive strategy.

    Mono-Red Aggro Deck List

(Image of a MTG card: Razorkin Needlehead against a blurred mountain background)

Aggro decks are the most compact in MTG, usually running four copies of most cards instead of just one or two. This makes it easier to keep track of what you’ve drawn. The deck also restricts the use of enchantments, artifacts, vehicles, and other spell types that often require more time or mana to be effective. Aside from creatures and instant spells, there’s only one sorcery card in this deck.

This simple structure makes it beginner-friendly. However, playing aggro effectively requires more nuance. You can’t just play all your creatures and spells randomly and expect to win every game or climb to the top ranks in MTG Arena.

Card Name Card Type Number of Copies
    Hired Claw Creature 4
    Shock Instant 4
    Burst Lightning Instant 4
    Lightning Strike Instant 4
    Razorkin Needlehead Creature 4
    Slickshot Show-Off Creature 4
    Ghitu Lavarunner Creature 4
    Boltware Sorcery 4
    Emberheart Challenger Creature 4
    Witchstalker Frenzy Instant 3
    Rockface Village Land 4
    Mountain Land 17

(Image of a MTG card: Slickshot Show-Off against a mountain background)

How This Mono-Red Aggro Deck Works

This deck is built around dealing damage from the very first turn. Many of its creatures have haste, meaning they can attack immediately after being played, without waiting a turn to clear “summoning sickness.” While haste is a key feature, other mechanics like raid, menace, and prowess are also used in different mono-red decks.

The spells are low-cost and pack a punch. They target either creatures or opponents, enabling quick damage or removal. Even the highest-cost card, Witchstalker Frenzy, can be cast for less if you’ve already attacked with your creatures that turn.

(Image of a MTG card: Slickshot Show-Off against a mountain background)

    Ideal Starting Hands

Your opening hand should ideally contain at least three mana, three creatures, and an instant spell. Since most of the deck’s creatures cost two mana or less, it’s possible to start with just two mana and draw an extra in the early turns. If you do start with only two mana, include an instant to remove blockers or inflict additional damage on your opponent.

Avoid starting with only one mana, even if your hand has many one-mana cards. The goal is to overwhelm early, and casting only one spell per turn won’t do that.

    Changes You Can Make

In the current meta, there aren’t many obvious upgrades, but here are some swaps to consider:

    • Replace Shock with Abrade
    • Replace Lightning Strike with Boulder Dash
    • Swap Witchstalker Frenzy for Charming Scoundrel
    • Alternatively, replace Witchstalker Frenzy with Hexing Squelcher

Unfortunately, the recent set didn’t bring many significant additions for mono-red aggro. The synergy isn’t quite there to include a random goblin card without haste, though Hexing Squelcher’s ward ability and uncounterable nature can be useful.

Overall, this mono-red aggro deck is well-balanced. Any changes should depend on your experience with the deck and how other popular strategies in the meta respond to your threats.

  • Google Home Update Adds More Automation Controls

Google Home Update Adds More Automation Controls

Google Home automations can seamlessly reduce daily hassles, from turning on lights at just the right moment to adjusting the thermostat as you approach home. These automations are among the most practical features of Google’s smart home ecosystem.

Recently, Google expanded the capabilities of these routines by introducing new startup triggers, offering users more ways to activate automations. Now, an update to the Google Home app further enhances this feature set by adding support for additional trigger types, conditions, and actions that simplify creating helpful routines.

According to the update notes on Google’s support page, Google Home now includes humidity-based triggers. This allows routines to activate when indoor humidity surpasses a certain level. For instance, you can automate turning on a dehumidifier or exhaust fan when humidity rises above a set point, and turn them off when levels normalize.

Google has also added new device and status-based conditions. Automations can now be set to run when a robot vacuum docks or undocks, when a device’s battery is charging or low, or when a switch or button is pressed. The button press options support single presses, multiple presses, long presses, and long-press releases.

Additionally, automations can now be triggered by the binary state of compatible devices—such as detecting if something is open or closed, whether a contact sensor registers activity, or if sensors detect leaks or freezing conditions. These enhancements enable more safety-focused routines, like sending alerts if a leak is detected or a window is left open.

Google Home has also introduced a new lighting control action that allows users to set their smart lights to a specific color or temperature. This feature enables automatic lighting adjustments to match different times of day, such as a cool white during daylight hours or a warm tone in the evening.

Along with these new triggers and actions, the update resolves an issue that prevented playback of recent security camera footage. Google reports that this fix will reduce “Video not available” errors when opening the app from notifications or viewing recent events.

Where to Build Your First Base in StarRupture for Completing and Solving

Like most survival games, your chances of staying alive in StarRupture depend heavily on where you build your base. You should choose a location with plenty of resources nearby — so you don’t have to go far to gather what you need — and with large ore deposits in the area.

The best starting locations are fairly easy to find, but expanding into other areas may require some effort. Here’s everything you need to know about setting up your first base in StarRupture.

    ### Where to Set Up Your First Base

When you start exploring in StarRupture, the area right outside your ship is the perfect spot. You don’t want to travel too far from your initial location because resources like food, water, and basic supplies aren’t plentiful at first.

Make sure your initial base is close to these essentials:
    – Hydrobulbs for hydration
    – Polifruit for hunger
    – Titanium Ore
    – Wolfram Ore

These four resources are vital during your first days. You can mine the ore, refine it, and craft items to send to different corporations. As you gain levels within each corporation, you’ll unlock new machines, features, or items that will help you progress and make gameplay easier.

The first area after your ship not only has deposits of Titanium and Wolfram Ore for mining but also features underground caves with rare resources. Nearby, there’s an abandoned base with important loot and blueprints to discover. As you level up and start working for more advanced contracts, you’ll need to venture further, gathering resources like Calcium.

StarRupture’s layout encourages exploration without forcing you to do it prematurely. You can take your time to grow stronger before venturing too far.

There is a large Calcium ore deposit near your initial base. You can use a rail system to transport materials back to your main base or establish another base at the site. As you explore deeper into the map, more ore deposits become available, including sites for Helium-3—accessible after completing a level 6 contract with the Selenian corporation—and Sulfur, which requires completing the level 9 contract.

While you don’t need to build a base at every ore site, placing them periodically will help prevent getting stranded during rupture waves. Always carry Meteorite Hearts, basic building materials, ammunition, and food in your personal inventory to be prepared for emergencies.

  • Building a Base in Hytale: Complete Guide to Completing and Solving

Building a Base in Hytale: Complete Guide to Completing and Solving

Part of playing a survival game like Hytale is in Exploration mode, which focuses on exploring the world. To survive overnight while monsters are out, you need a safe place to hide, a spot to store your extra items temporarily, and somewhere to keep your crafting tables safe.

Building a base in Hytale takes some planning. While there’s no one right way to do it, there are a few tips to keep in mind when deciding where and when to settle.

These tips are for creating a base in Exploration mode, assuming you’ll be unlocking materials and recipes as you go. If you’re in Creative mode with everything unlocked from the start, you have endless options and can build anything you imagine.

    ## Use What You Can At First
When starting a new world in Exploration mode, you only have your character’s clothes. Luckily, you can find easy-to-access resources around the overworld like sticks and loose stones that don’t require tools to gather.

Use these raw materials to make Crude Tools as soon as possible. A Crude Hatchet and Crude Pickaxe will make gathering wood and stone much faster. They can be crafted from your inventory menu’s Pocket Crafting option. Once you have better tools, gathering stronger materials for building becomes easier.

Your first base doesn’t need to be pretty. It just needs to keep monsters out and give you a safe place to store things. If night is coming and you’re not ready to fight, quickly throw together a simple structure from any available raw materials. An ugly but functional shelter is better than risking the night with no protection.

    ## Gather and Build With Available Resources
Before you craft a Furniture Workbench to make beds, you’ll need to wait out the night. Waiting in an impromptu shelter made of dirt and wood is safer than dying and losing everything when monsters attack after dark.

If you’re near a cave entrance, block the lower part to keep monsters underground, seal off the main entrance, but leave a small opening to watch the sunrise safely. In a forest, chop down thick-trunked trees, carve out sections, and use that wood to build a simple wall or shelter. It might not be pretty, but it’ll keep you safe until morning.

    ## Map Using Basic Resources, Then Improve
If your base location is ideal, but resources are limited, don’t worry. You’ll gather plenty of materials during your adventures—stone, wood, ores—so focus on establishing a sturdy structure first. You can always decorate or upgrade later.

It’s better to build a simple but solid shelter now and improve it later rather than delaying your first night or risking monsters and weather. Remember, demolishing sections with your pickaxe lets you recover materials and change your layout as you go.

    ## Build Using What’s Already There
If you come across abandoned structures, ruins, or villages, these can be turned into your home base. Exploring the world thoroughly can reveal great spots with useful loot and potential to expand or modify existing buildings.

If you stumble upon an empty house, place your bed inside to set that as your spawn point. Even if your house isn’t finished yet, sleeping in the bed sets your respawn location. When night falls, sleep in your bed to skip the dangerous hours, so you can get a fresh start in the morning.

    ## Find Ways To Add Visual Interest
Once you have a builder’s workbench and resources, make your base visually appealing rather than just functional. Rotate blocks to break up patterns, use colored wood or wool for accents, or blend materials in different areas to create unique looks. Inside, you can mix wood and stone materials to give your space character and style.

Adding decorative items like lights, pottery, seasonal decor, colored wool, or painted walls can make your base feel more like home, even if it’s still a work in progress.

    ## Pick a Good Location for Your Main Base
Choosing a strategic spot to settle allows for easier resource collection and safer exploration. Being near an underground mine entrance gives quick access to valuable minerals, while choosing a location close to natural food sources ensures you stay fed during long adventures.

Explore different areas before settling down—consider proximity to biomes, caves, and natural spawn points for animals. Make sure the location suits your preferred play style and has enough space for expansion if needed.

    ## Take Over Existing Structures
If building from the ground up doesn’t appeal to you, look for pre-made structures like houses, ruins, or villages. These can be moved into or used as bases, saving you time. Many of these structures are generated naturally and can serve as a starting point.

If you find an empty house early on, place your bed inside to gain ownership and set your respawn point there. Using existing structures helps you avoid early construction work and can give you a head start in establishing your home.

    ## Find Ways To Make Your Base Visually Interesting
Even after building your initial shelter, you can add personal touches. Rotate block orientations to create different patterns. Use contrasting materials or colors for accents. Inside, mix textures and styles to make each space stand out.

Decorate with lights, plants, furniture, and other ornaments to give your base personality. Experiment with different designs and materials to create a space that looks good and feels like home.

    ## Leave Space Outside for Farming
Food is essential for survival, especially if you’re engaging in combat, exploring caves, or fighting other players. Plan for farming outside your main base by leaving space for crop plots, animal pens, or both.

Plant berry bushes, till soil for crops, and set up fences to keep out wild animals and monsters. Access to fresh food helps keep your character healthy and well-fed on long journeys.

    ## Expand or Move When Needed
Once your initial base is established, you might find it’s not big enough, especially if friends join or you discover new resources. Building additional rooms or expanding your current base is straightforward—just add new sections if space allows.

If you want to switch to a different biome or find a better spot, you can pack up what’s important and rebuild elsewhere. Sleeping in a bed in your new location resets your spawn point, making moving a smooth process.

  • Build Smarter Google Home Routines Easily

Build Smarter Google Home Routines Easily

Google Home automations are becoming significantly smarter thanks to a major update that broadens the core components of routines, offering users more precise control over their smart devices. If you depend on Google Home for managing lights, appliances, or security systems, this new rollout provides a whole new level of customization.

The update adds approximately 20 new starting conditions and actions within the Google Home app. Anish Kattukaran, Chief Product Officer for Google Home and Gemini for Home, announced on X that these enhancements will enable more detailed, flexible automation configurations.

At the core of this update are new triggers, conditions, and actions that allow routines to respond to real-time events in your home. You can now create routines based on media playback states such as playing, paused, or buffering, including specific volume or screen brightness levels.

This means automations can, for example, automatically dim the lights when a movie begins or behave differently if a TV is paused instead of actively streaming. Smart appliances also gain more intelligence, with routines able to check whether a washer or dryer is running, paused, stopped, or reporting an error, giving routines a newfound awareness.

The enhancements in actions are equally significant. Google Home can now control individual devices more precisely—turning devices on or off, arming security systems, opening or closing smart blinds, or managing robot vacuums by pausing, resuming, or sending them back to their dock.

Support for appliances like washers, dryers, and coffee makers has expanded to include start, stop, or pause commands, although support is still limited to certain models. While categories such as smart ovens, robot vacuums, and robot mops aren’t fully supported yet, more device types are expected to be added over time.

Additionally, smaller improvements have been implemented to boost user experience, like making it easier to provide feedback on AI-created automation descriptions, which are still in early testing phases.

Google indicates this is just the first wave of updates, with more automation features already in development. With the arrival of Gemini on Google’s smart home products, these enhancements empower users to craft routines with greater precision without adding complexity to the setup process.
