A highly anticipated PS5 action-adventure game for 2026 recently received an unexpected free upgrade on the PlayStation Store, available at no cost to all owners. Originally launched in March, Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert now includes new content and improvements designed to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
Crimson Desert Enhanced introduces fresh cutscenes and dialogue, which help to improve the story’s narrative flow and offer players a more immersive experience in the world of Pywel. According to Pearl Abyss, the update also expands the game’s accessibility globally by adding support for five additional voiceover languages—French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Portuguese (Brazilian). It also includes Arabic subtitles and a localized user interface, allowing players around the world to connect more vividly with the characters and story.
Alongside this update, a 20% discount is available on Crimson Desert Enhanced. From now until September 10, players can purchase the game for $55.99 instead of the regular $69.99 price.
The Deluxe Edition is also discounted by 20%, now priced at $63.99. It includes the base game plus these bonus items:
– PS5 exclusive Grotevant Plate Set (Helmet, Armor, Cloak, Gloves, Boots)
– Kairos Plate Set (Helmet, Armor, Cloak, Gloves, Boots)
– Balgran Shield
– Exclaire Horse Tack Set (Champron, Barding, Saddle, Stirrups)
