If you’re using an AWS Enterprise Support plan, you will automatically get new credits for AWS DevOps Agent each August. You don’t need to do anything to receive these credits—they are added to your account automatically.
These credits are part of a monthly cycle. Each month, the system calculates credits based on a percentage of your support charges from the previous month. For Enterprise Support plans, you get a 75% credit of your past support expenses. For example, if your support charges in July were $17,590, you should see about $13,192 in credits added to your account by August 10th.
It’s important to know how these credits work. They are issued each month based on your support costs from the previous month. The credits can only be used for AWS DevOps Agent services within that month and will expire if they’re not used before the month ends. Also, the credits can’t be more than your actual usage for the month. This means if you have $13,192 in credits but only use $5,000 worth of DevOps Agent services, only $5,000 will be applied— the rest will expire.
You can check your current credits and your usage at any time using the AWS Billing and Cost Management console. The credits will automatically reduce your AWS DevOps Agent bills, fitting into your overall support plan investment. There’s no need for any extra steps to activate the credits—they work automatically.
