A 2017 cinematic adventure game for PS4 has been quietly removed from the PlayStation Store, following its earlier removal from other platforms without any official announcement. Its store listings on consoles were pulled in May, and now the game has vanished entirely from the PlayStation Store’s online page as well.
Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier was among several Disney titles that disappeared from sale on Steam without notice in April 2026. While it initially remained available on the PlayStation Store, by May, users on PS5 and PS4 could no longer purchase it through the console’s digital storefront.
However, the game was still accessible for purchase via the PlayStation Store website for a time. According to PSNProfiles user xAleksi22, the game has now been completely removed from all storefronts. A preview of its store page can still be found through Google Search, but clicking on the link results in a broken webpage.
Interestingly, the VR title Crisis on the Planet of the Apes remains available for purchase. Although Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier garnered mixed reviews, critics noted that it provided an engaging story. Unfortunately, gameplay was hindered by various technical issues, which marred the overall experience.
