Google Increases Booking Options for Local Services Ads

Digital Phablet reports that Google has dramatically increased its number of booking partners for Local Service Ads, jumping from around 20 to over 500—a growth of approximately 2,400%. Ginny Marvin, the Google Ads Liaison, announced that the expansion brings more than 500 Reserve with Google booking partners into the fold, up from just 20 previously. These new settings are also expected to transfer seamlessly when Local Service Ads accounts are migrated into Google Ads in the upcoming months. Details about these booking partners can be found on the official Google Maps Reserve Partners page.

Ginny noted on X that this update primarily affects Local Service Ads and shared some key implications for advertisers using these ads. She explained:

  • Direct Booking from LSAs: Beginning immediately, if your Google Business Profile already features an active booking link with a partner, this will automatically be enabled for your LSA—no manual setup needed. Customers will now be able to book directly from your ad on Search and Maps.
  • Lead Tracking: Bookings made through these links will appear in your LSA lead reports as paid leads. You can continue managing and viewing all booking leads directly within your Local Service Ads profile.
  • Account Controls: To modify your booking preferences or disable a specific partner link, simply visit the Profile & Budget section within your LSA dashboard at any time.
