A new trailer for Hot Wheels Infinite Rush highlights the game’s campaign progression and extensive customization features. Milestone and Mattel invite players to explore four different islands, participate in various activities, and tailor their experience to fit their preferred playstyle.
The second episode of Beyond The Tracker offers a deeper look into the game’s gameplay mechanics and personalization options. While the first episode focused on the individual maps, this latest installment emphasizes the tools players can use to make their gameplay uniquely their own.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush showcases four vehicle classes that players can effortlessly switch between during races to adapt to different challenges. These classes include:
- Drifters – Master tight corners and recharge boost energy through drifting.
- Speeders – Take advantage of long straightaways, accelerating and regenerating boost rapidly.
- Titans – Heavy-duty vehicles with distinct boost management mechanics.
- Versatiles – Well-rounded options suitable for a variety of situations.
Players can toggle between these classes via the Rush Squad System. To do so, they need to assemble a team of four vehicles, each representing one class. During gameplay, switching between them is seamless. Additionally, all four islands feature open-world activities like sky-jumping between locations to unlock new zones and challenges.
The story campaign guides players through defeating rival crews on their path to becoming the ultimate Rush Master. Customization options are available through sticker and livery editors, allowing players to personalize decals, wheels, boost visual effects, and even sound effects for boosts and dashes.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is set to launch on September 10, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Early access begins on September 7 for those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition.
