Titled “anime GTA,” an eagerly anticipated open-world action RPG for the PS5 has announced its official launch date. Created by Naked Rain and published by NetEase, Ananta will debut early next year as a console-exclusive title for PS5. The game will also be accessible on PC and mobile devices.
Ananta is set to be released on January 15, 2027, as a free-to-play game. Its environment depicts a contemporary urban setting influenced by social media culture that encourages viral trends and influencer pursuits.
The official description states, “Ananta revolves around a core idea: Go Viral. Save the World.” The gameplay centers on social influence and capturing attention, with players embodying the role of an influencer in a city governed by algorithms and online trends. Players experience the city through the perspective of a content creator—a fresh take in the urban gaming scene.

Naked Rain mentions, “Explore cinemas, mahjong parlors, arcades, cat cafés, maid cafés, gyms, restaurants, shopping districts, open-air hot springs, and more.”
