CookieRun: Crumble has just rolled out its first major update today, August 27, introducing the new Guild Raid mode along with fresh Cookies, a new Pet, and competitive guild features. The developers are also celebrating surpassing 2.5 million players and generating over KRW 20 billion ($14.3 million) in revenue in less than a month since launch.
This update comes just three weeks after the global release of CookieRun: Crumble. The game has gained a solid international following, with players outside Korea contributing to 40% of its earnings. Developers are actively sharing lots of free rewards through CookieRun Crumble codes, and this update marks an exciting step forward for the game’s future.
The most significant addition in this update is Guild Raid, a cooperative mode that allows all guild members to challenge the same raid boss with their own teams. It adds a competitive aspect as well, with up to five guilds forming a Raid Group and competing through a tier-based ranking system.
Players can earn Guild Medals and Honor Rewards through the Guild Raid. The Guild Medal exchange shop offers exclusive Cookies and Pets. But Guild Raid isn’t the only highlight of this major update.
Additionally, the update brings three new Cookies into the mix. Here’s a closer look at the new cookies coming out of the oven:
– Brightseeker Cookie: An TSSR Ranged Cookie who wields a lightning rod drone to shoot a beam at a single enemy, then finishes with a powerful explosive blast.
– Pinot Noir Cookie: An SSR Support Cookie that fires shadow-like projectiles at up to three low-health enemies. She also provides buffs with multi-hit synergy and offers resistance to knockback and airborne effects.
– Tea Knight Cookie: An SSR Tank Cookie who boosts his Defense, grows in size, and strikes the ground with his halberd to deal area damage.
The update also introduces Battery Mellow, an SSR Pet that grants allies Rapid Fire synergy, adding to the already impressive lineup of companions available in the game.
Meanwhile, CookieRun: Kingdom is also receiving an update with Episode 9 of the Timeline of Fate, titled “Time Breakers: Fatal Fixers.” It introduces new characters including Super Epic Time Shadow Cookie, Epic Pulpo Cookie, and a new Legendary costume for Silent Salt Cookie. Expect some fresh Cookie Run Kingdom codes to go along with that update as well.
