On June 25, Baidu’s Qianfan team announced that all subscription plans for the Baidu Qianfan Coding Program will no longer be eligible for renewal, effective immediately.
The Baidu Qianfan Coding Plan is an AI coding subscription service launched by Baidu Cloud’s Qianfan large model platform in February 2026. It was designed to offer multi-model support, high compatibility, and low entry barriers, targeting individual developers with comprehensive coding assistance—from writing and understanding code to optimization.
The service features a standardized interface that is compatible with popular AI programming tools such as Claude Code and Cursor. It integrates multiple code generation and understanding models, including GLM-4.7 and DeepSeek-V3.2, allowing developers to switch seamlessly within the console with a single click.
Pricing for the service included a Lite version, which offered the first month at just 9.9 yuan for new users and 40 yuan monthly thereafter, as well as a Pro version priced at 49.9 yuan per month. Launched approximately four months ago, the service’s discontinuation marks a significant shift for its user base.
