Understanding Meccha Chameleon: Player Limits & Details

The maximum number of players in Meccha Chameleon is currently set at 24. However, this is the highest limit the game host can choose when setting up a server. For the best experience, the developers suggest keeping the player count between 2 and 10. They mention that running the game with up to 13 players should still work smoothly, but beyond that—say, from 14 to 24 players—there’s no guarantee it will run properly. The actual performance at higher numbers depends a lot on the host’s computer and internet speed.

It’s best to start with the recommended 2 to 10 players. If you want to try more, increase the limit gradually until you reach your goal or notice the game slowing down. No matter how many players there are, only one will start as the hunter. As the game progresses, the hunter will catch others and turn them into hunters too, until time runs out or all the chameleons become hunters.
