Ultimate Bird Triumph Guide for Destiny 2

Ultimate Bird Triumph Guide for Destiny 2

The “For The Bird” Triumph in Destiny 2 can be quite frustrating since it demands a lot of effort for relatively little reward. To complete it, you’ll need to finish a weekly Deepsight quest from Hawthorne, which involves completing the entire Vault of Glass raid. The initial rewards aren’t very exciting, but once you finish this triumph, you’ll unlock the chance to buy the Chatterwhite shader, a rare item tied to Vault of Glass in Destiny 1.

Here’s what you need to do to complete the “For The Bird” Triumph:

First, talk to Hawthorne at the Tower Bazaar. She’ll give you the Fated Deepsight quest, which requires completing all encounters in the Vault of Glass. Sometimes, you might have to check her inventory on the next page to find this quest. While you’re in the area, make sure to speak with Ikora and pick up the Destiny 2 Distortions quest as well.

Hawthorne also has weekly Deepsight quests related to other raids, but since Vault of Glass is free for everyone, it’s the easiest one to do. The other raids, Last Wish and Garden of Salvation, require specific expansion packs, so they’re less accessible.

Once you start the raid, you’ll need to complete all five main encounters: activate the confluxes to access the vault, solve the Oracle puzzle, defeat the Templar, reach the Glassthrone and beat the Gatekeepers, then finally defeat Atheon to finish the raid.

Completing these steps will automatically finish the Fated Deepsight quest, remove it from your quest log, and reward you with a free Deepsight weapon—an item with a red border around its icon that helps you unlock its crafting pattern. Finishing this also grants you the “For The Bird” triumph, which awards 15 Legendary Marks and unlocks the Chatterwhite shader at the Tenet of Death vendor in the Tower Courtyard. The shader costs 25 Marks, so you’ll need an extra 10 Marks, which you can easily earn by locating the Destiny 2 Archie NPC and giving him a pet for the “Can You Pet the Dog?” triumph.
