The fight has two main phases, which can be a little tricky to get through.

In the first phase, Yama splits into multiple forms and stands on top of pillars in the arena. The second phase involves Yama drawing the soul out of your body and sending several apparitions across the arena. To avoid taking heavy damage, you must stand next to the highlighted apparition. Once you master these mechanics, the fight becomes much more manageable.
