How To Complete The Her Legacy Lost Chapter Quest in Where Winds Meet

“Where Winds Meet” offers a lot to discover, from side missions to challenging boss battles, and everything in between. The most interesting part is how all its mechanics connect; as you explore, you’re constantly making your character stronger in some way.

Some side quests are tricky to find and might require completing other missions first. Her Legacy is a special chapter you unlock after finishing the first part of the main story, serving as a conclusion to Ruby’s story. Below, we’ll guide you through completing each step of this quest, including the locations of treasure map clues.

    ### How to Start Her Legacy

Her Legacy becomes available only after you finish the final quest in Chapter 1: “Heaven Has No Pier,” called “For Whom Does He Return.” After completing this main story quest, return to Heaven’s Pier, and Her Legacy will appear there. Just follow the quest indicator to begin.

    ### Her Legacy Lost Chapter Walkthrough

Start by searching the shelves in Parting Tears to find a treasure map. This map points to a small pond roughly halfway between Kilnfire Ridge and Heaven’s Pier.

Visit that area and talk to the Old Angler, who will challenge you to a fishing contest. Win the contest to earn a second treasure map, which points to a spot in front of a storeroom at the General’s Shrine.

Next, go to that location and break the jars outside the storeroom to reveal the third treasure map. Before leaving, chat with the nearby Sweeping Villager.

The third clue directs you to Kilnfire Ridge. Use the Kilnfire Ridge Boundary Stone as your guide, then head south until you see a woodcutter chopping a tree. Talk to him, then climb onto the rooftop nearby to find the next clue.

The fourth treasure map is more difficult to locate. It’s just south of the North Bamboo Grove Boundary Stone. Once there, find the hunter and challenge him to an archery contest. Use the “Still Waters” skill to make it easier, then win to get the clue.

Finally, head to the Bamboo Abode, where wolves are waiting. Fight them off and go to the back of the house near the steps. Read the letter from Ruby to receive the Red Thread accessory. Enter the building and meditate.

In your dream, speak with Ruby. When she leaves and you wake up, the quest will be finished.

Complete Guide to Locating All Gifts in Trails Through Daybreak 2

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 continues the tradition of engaging Japanese role-playing games (JRPGs) by featuring a dynamic bond system that allows players to deepen friendships with party members. Just like in the previous installment, the protagonist Van can enhance his connections with friends by spending quality time with them or by giving them thoughtful gifts. This approach is indeed a useful life lesson as well!

In Trails Through Daybreak 2, there is a total of 48 different and unique gifts available for purchase, which is quite fitting given the game’s extensive cast of characters. Below is a guide on where to find every gift so you can win over your entire party.

Where to Find Every Gift in Trails Through Daybreak 2

Almost all the gifts in Trails Through Daybreak 2 can be purchased at various shops, except for one special item. The exclusive Gem Cards can be won as prizes from Analysis Cubes in Marchen Garten, and you may give each character two of these cards.

You can easily spot which stores have fresh inventory by looking for a red marker on your minimap. If you see red, it means there are new items you can check out.
