How to Get More Sanctuary Points in Two Point Museum: Zooseum Completing and Solving

Two Point Museum’s Zooseum DLC introduces new features and fresh twists to the base game. Instead of each destination having a Survey Level like in the main game, Zooseum locations have a Biodiversity Level.

During the Silverbottom Park campaign, you’ll need to boost the Biodiversity Levels at various locations. Here’s how you can do that, what you’ll earn in return—called Sanctuary Points—and how to use those points.

    What does Biodiversity Level affect?
Biodiversity Levels influence the wildlife exhibits you can find in each area. As the Biodiversity Level of a Point of Interest (POI) increases, you have access to rarer and higher-quality wildlife exhibits. You’ll also need to raise these levels in Farflung Isles to advance through the campaign.

    How to check Biodiversity Levels
Open the expedition map and select a POI in the Farflung Isles. The current Biodiversity Level will be displayed there. The maximum level you can reach at any location is Level 3.

    How to increase Biodiversity Level
There are several ways to boost Biodiversity in each POI:

    Releasing Wildlife Exhibits
The most effective method is releasing animals back into the wild. Each successful release increases the Biodiversity Level of the area from which the exhibit originated. For example, releasing a Carnivulture will raise the Biodiversity Level in Farflung Jungle. Every time you do this, you gain Sanctuary Points, and the area’s Biodiversity level improves.

It’s also a good idea to treat your animals to a spa at the Wildlife Welfare room. Not only does this provide a bonus buff to the animal, but releasing it with this buff will give you more Sanctuary Points, further boosting biodiversity.

    Special Cargo Items
Cargo Items can be manufactured at your Workstation, but you need to progress enough through the campaign to unlock their recipes. Certain Cargo Items, when used by sending experts to a POI, help raise its Biodiversity Level more quickly. Examples include:

    • Pollen Packet: boosts wildlife POI Biodiversity
    • Rewilding Reset: significantly increases wildlife POI Biodiversity

Using these items can accelerate improvements at specific locations.

    Expedition Events
Different expedition events can occur at POIs, some positively or negatively impacting their Biodiversity Level. Be sure to check which events might happen before you start an expedition; this way, you can prepare and meet requirements to counter negatives or promote positives.

    How to spend Sanctuary Points
Once you’ve earned Sanctuary Points, you can spend them in the Animal Adoption tab within the Exhibits menu. There, you can buy wildlife exhibits with your points. If you’re searching for a particular species or gender, you can send out an advert for it. Sending adverts costs Kudosh instead, and once the advert is fulfilled, you can purchase the desired animal with your Sanctuary Points.

Keeping these methods in mind will help you efficiently boost Biodiversity Levels, unlock better exhibits, and advance through the campaign more smoothly.

  • Completing Mythical Gear in Two Point Museum: Fantasy Discoveries

Completing Mythical Gear in Two Point Museum: Fantasy Discoveries

The Fantasy Finds DLC allows your Two Point Museum team to embark on exciting quests, but they’ll need the right gear. Mythical Gear is a unique type of exhibit that can be equipped by your staff members, giving them enhanced abilities that can help them perform their tasks more effectively.

There’s a trade-off, as you can’t put Mythical Gear on display for guests to admire while it’s being worn by staff. However, if used strategically, these extraordinary items can be quite valuable. Here’s what you need to know about these remarkable relics.

    How to Equip Mythical Gear

All exhibits in the Mythical Gear category can be equipped by any staff member. Once an item is equipped, only one staff member can wear it at a time.

Keep in mind that not every piece of Mythical Gear will be beneficial for all staff members, but they can still equip it—so be strategic about your choices!

Mythical Gear can only be equipped when it’s on display in the museum. If it’s in Storage, it can’t be used. To equip an item, place it in the museum and click on its display case to open its information window. Look for the button labeled Choose Staff under its Traits section, click it, and select the staff member you wish to equip with the item.

You can un-equip the item using the same method, but by clicking the trash can next to the staff member’s name in the item’s information panel. This will return the item to its display case.

    Effects of Equipping Mythical Gear

Each piece of Mythical Gear provides unique benefits for the staff member wearing it; see below for a list of their effects. However, there are some important changes to note while the item is equipped:

    • Mythical Gear cannot generate Buzz while equipped; its display case will show a note indicating that the item is currently in use. However, they can still contribute Knowledge to nearby Info Stands.
    • Mythical Gear cannot be stolen while being worn; after all, there’s nothing in the display case to take!
    • Mythical Gear does not require maintenance while equipped; its Grubbiness level remains the same as when it was taken from its display case.

All Mythical Gear in Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds

Below is a comprehensive list of all Mythical Gear found in the Fantasy Finds DLC, including their locations and effects when equipped. Note that, besides the Bolt Buckle Boots and One-Eyed Lid, every piece of Mythical Gear is unique; only one of each can exist in a museum.

    Mythical Gear

    Location(s)

    Effect

    Tip(s)

    Bolt Buckle Boots

    Wishfell Village, Upside Town

+5 Dexterity. Greatly boosts movement speed in the museum but depletes Energy.

Having multiples can be beneficial for Security Guards chasing thieves or Janitors tackling emergencies.

    One-Eyed Lid

    Troll Bridge

+5 Luck. Expands the field of view for Security Guards.

Equipping several can help your security team nab criminals more easily.

    Nor’s Hammer

    Furious Forge

+15 Strength. The equipped staff member completes maintenance tasks much quicker.

This is great for Janitors and Science Experts.

    Wizard’s Chat

    Archwise Rise

+15 Intelligence. The equipped character offers extra Knowledge to guests they pass by.

An excellent all-around item useful for anyone.

    Loot Lute

    The Woblin’ Goblin

    +15 Luck.

Actually, the Loot Lute is best left unequipped, as its display case effect generates larger guest donations.

    Plot Armour

    Longrange Inn

+15 Agility. The equipped character experiences hunger, thirst, and fatigue more slowly and needs to take bathroom breaks less often. They will never go MIA while wearing this armour.

This can help keep your top staff secure during challenging missions.

    Kingdom Crown

    Mount Gloom

+20 Intelligence. The equipped character provides a small Happiness boost to nearby guests.

This boost is minor (5%), so it might be wise to keep the Crown in its case.

    Fantasy Stats on Non-Fantasy Characters

Some areas in Scorched Earth allow non-Fantasy characters to join in. During these quests, a non-Fantasy character equipped with Mythical Gear will receive the Fantasy Stat bonuses from their items, even if they lack Fantasy Stats themselves.

For instance, if you send a Supernatural Expert equipped with Nor’s Hammer, they will still add 15 Strength to the encounter, even without a direct Strength score. This makes Mythical Gear even more valuable for completing your collection of fantasy fish and goblin ghosts!

  • Completing the Geode Device in Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds

Completing the Geode Device in Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds

Sure! Here’s a fresh version in American English:

    Dwarven Devices Overview

Dwarven Devices are part of the exciting new exhibit category in the Fantasy Finds DLC for Two Point Museum. Although the game doesn’t explicitly mention it, if you pay attention to the item descriptions, you’ll discover that grouping these devices together grants you added benefits, much like the Astral Anomalies.

    Gathering Dwarven Devices

Collecting all the Dwarven Devices involves quite a bit of adventure with your Fantasy Experts. If you aim for complete Knowledge and Pristine Quality on each item, prepare for a challenge. The effort pays off, as the setup will create an engaging tour and allow you to profit from the Geode extraction, a valuable side activity for your museum.

    Where to Find Dwarven Devices

You can find Dwarven Devices in the southwestern area of the Scorched Earth expedition map, which becomes accessible as you advance through the early storyline. Initially, you can extract Geodes from the Mines of Adnausea and gather your first set of Devices at Great Dwharf.

Once you have at least five Dwarven Devices (including Geodes) displaying a total of 225 Buzz or more, you can unlock Furious Forge after a few dwarf guests complete their Dream Visit. Additionally, displaying three Pristine Dwarven Devices is required to access Cog Tower.

Note: While Furious Forge doesn’t contain any Dwarven Devices, unlocking it is necessary to reach Cog Tower.

    Locations of Dwarven Devices

Here’s where to find various Dwarven Devices along with tips for each location:

    Location Devices Tips
Mines of Adnausea Fire Geode, Grass Geode, Water Geode Equip Bolt Buckle Boots or bring a Dexterity Potion to avoid the Worm Food event.
Great Dwharf Gas Device, Geode Device, Smelting Device A Barbarian, Bard, and Wizard of Rank 5 or higher will handle this area easily with Mythical Gear.
Cog Tower Fire Device, Wind Device The Fantasy Stat requirements are high. Bring a Curse Counter for Wildfire protection, but be cautious of the Teleportation Trap. Your Expert can heal in the Bandage Box upon returning.

How to Activate the Geode Device

The Geode Device requires the Smelting Device for power, which in turn needs all three of the Gas, Fire, and Wind Devices placed nearby. The ideal setup is to have the Smelting Device centrally located, surrounded by the other three within its effect range.

When arranged correctly, the Smelting and Geode Devices will begin to function. As long as they are active, you can put Geodes into the Geode Device to convert them into Crystals.

Tip: There may be a delay of a few seconds before you can collect a Crystal from the Geode Device once it’s finished processing.

    Why Convert Geodes Into Crystals?

Crystals serve as upgraded versions of Geodes, each carrying its own Knowledge rating. You can research both the Geode and its corresponding Crystal through repeated visits to the Mines of Adnausea.

Crystals maintain the Quality of their original Geodes but yield approximately twice the Buzz. This factor alone makes it worthwhile to refine every Geode you find after completing your research on them.

Moreover, Crystals sell for a flat $20,000, irrespective of Quality, making them a quick way to generate cash when needed. If a Collector visits your museum looking for Dwarven Devices, having several Crystals on display increases your chances of receiving a lucrative offer—so don’t hesitate to stock up!

  • Completing the Choice: Protect Fairydale or Wishfell in Two Point Museum?

Completing the Choice: Protect Fairydale or Wishfell in Two Point Museum?

The Fantasy Finds DLC for Two Point Museum allows you to dispatch brave adventurers to the scorching land of Scorched Earth, where dragons wreak havoc across the land. The initial part of this storyline introduces you to the fundamentals of deploying Fantasy Experts and brewing potions, leading up to a climactic battle with a red dragon.

However, when you confront the dragon, the game presents a challenging choice: the dragon’s fiery destruction threatens the nearby villages of Wishfell and Fairydale, which you explored in earlier missions. You can only choose to save one village. Which will it be? Is there a right choice?

How to Battle the Dragon in Two Point Museum

As you begin your adventure on the Scorched Earth map, the dragon can be spotted north of your starting point. However, you must first create a Dragon Tail Potion. Follow the objectives on the map to gather your team of Fantasy Experts, and you’ll unlock the potion recipe.

Once you obtain the recipe, any Fantasy Expert qualified as a Potion Master can whip up a Dragon Tail Potion in your museum’s Workshop. This potion specifically protects against the dragon’s tail attack, and you can brew as many as you want. Using one during an expedition provides a slight increase to your party’s overall Strength and Dexterity. Check out our guide on Fantasy Stats for more details.

The Dragon Tail Potion is essential cargo for confronting the Dragon; even if your team has sufficient stats to evade the Dragon Tail, you can’t initiate the battle without it.

The dragon poses a significant threat; any misstep during this expedition could result in a character going MIA. If your Fantasy Stats fall short against any of the dragon’s attacks, one of your experts will randomly be lost. Ensure your team is well-prepared!

    Choosing Between Wishfell and Fairydale

A tough choice arises during the first dragon encounter in Two Point Museum's Fantasy Finds DLC, as players must decide which village to save.

During the expedition to battle the dragon, you’ll encounter a Dilemma halfway through; the mission won’t conclude until you decide to save either Wishfell or Fairydale. The village you choose not to save will be destroyed and removed from the map, replaced by a ruined version featuring new, more challenging events and different rewards.

The destroyed village yields the Tall Tale Tail, a special exhibit; future visits will yield a copy of War Turf. Both are categorized under Canon Fodder.

The original rewards from the destroyed village will be unavailable. While you can find them later in other areas, securing those rewards will take longer and be considerably more perilous. Thus, it’s wise to save the village you’d like to keep sending expeditions to.

    Which is the Better Choice?

Fairydale offers the Teanie Kettle and Three-Handed Greatsword exhibits, while Wishfell features the Bolt Buckle Boots and Halvenhaf Tapestry. The Greatsword and Tapestry are relatively basic, although the Tapestry comprises multiple parts. If you decide to sacrifice Wishfell, aim to complete the Tapestry first. The big question is whether you prefer to maintain access to the Kettle or the Boots.

The Teanie Kettle occasionally grants guests’ wishes, boosting Happiness in a randomly selected category. While useful, it’s not a must-have. However, be cautious, as like most Enchanted exhibits, neglecting the Kettle can lead it to turn grumpy and inflict debuffs on guests.

The Bolt Buckle Boots can be equipped to a staff member to significantly enhance their movement speed around the museum, though doing so requires more frequent breaks. When worn by a Fantasy Expert, the Boots will also boost their Dexterity by five. However, like all Mythical Gear, the Bolt Buckle Boots do not provide any Buzz while worn.

All exhibits from Wishfell and Fairydale are non-unique, allowing you to stock up on multiple copies before facing the Dragon.

Of the two, the Bolt Buckle Boots are the more beneficial, as they’ll facilitate your progress through the remaining challenges in Scorched Earth. Dexterity is crucial for many Points of Interest, so securing the Boots is wise in case your existing pairs get lost. For this reason, we suggest saving Wishfell and letting Fairydale succumb to the dragon.

After you make your choice, you’ll earn the Scorched Earth Achievement/Trophy, one of the three new awards added in the Fantasy Finds DLC.

Where to Find the Exhibits from the Destroyed Village

As mentioned earlier, you can still collect the exhibits that were once available in the destroyed village once you unlock later parts of Scorched Earth. Don’t worry about having an incomplete collection – here’s where to find the “lost” exhibits:

    Exhibit

    Location

    Bolt Buckle Boots

    Upside Town

    Halvenhaf Tapestry

    Halvenhaf Castle

    Teanie Kettle

    Cumulus Woods

    Three-Handed Greatsword

    Flue Pastures

  • Completing Fantasy Experts in Two Point Museum: Solving Finds

Completing Fantasy Experts in Two Point Museum: Solving Finds

Discovering Fantasy Finds in Two Point Museum

Fantasy Finds is the inaugural DLC for Two Point Museum, bringing a brand-new frozen biome for your creative building options, along with the Scorched Earth expedition map. To gather fresh exhibits from this map, you’ll need to recruit Fantasy Experts, or as we like to call them, a team of adventurers!

Fantasy Experts have similarities with other types of specialists, but they also add a unique twist to expeditions. This means enhanced challenges and new strategies during their training, calling for more careful planning. Here’s what you need to know.

    How to Recruit Fantasy Experts

Fantasy Experts do not show up in the regular hiring pool. To enlist these adventurers, you will have to specifically advertise for the position, similar to how you would for other expert types. Simply hit the Advertise Job button located at the bottom of the available experts list, and you’ll start seeing candidates in approximately a week.

Tip: Since they’re adventurers at heart, you’ll need to extend a quest for them to show interest!

If you haven’t logged in since the game launched, you might notice that you can now spend more on advertising to attract additional applicants for the role. When looking to hire Fantasy Experts, it’s wise to aim for the full three applicants, as they come in various classes, each focusing on a different specialization. A diverse group of heroes is essential to tackle the challenges posed by the Scorched Earth map, so hiring multiple classes simultaneously is recommended.

    Fantasy Experts: Stats and Classes

Fantasy Experts come equipped with four Fantasy Stats that can influence the success of their expeditions: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Luck. Each of these experts fits into one of four classes, with each class specializing in one of the four Fantasy Stats:

    Class Best Stat
    Barbarian Strength
    Rogue Dexterity
    Wizard Intelligence
    Bard Luck

Additionally, each Fantasy Expert starts with a randomly selected Trait that gives a minor boost to one of the Fantasy Stats that isn’t their primary focus.

    Increasing Fantasy Stats

Every time a Fantasy Expert achieves a Rank, they earn one Skill Point that can be used to enhance one of their Fantasy Stats. To do this, select the expert and click the Upgrade button found in their panel’s Class section.

Note: If the expert has no Skill Points available, the Upgrade button will not be visible.

You can use the plus and minus buttons to add Skill Points and then click Confirm to finalize your choices. Bear in mind that once you confirm, the Skill Points cannot be refunded.

Sometimes, while on expeditions, Fantasy Experts may acquire Traits that boost their Fantasy Stats without using any Skill Points, making it worth your while to send them out frequently for potential upgrades.

    Utilizing Fantasy Stats on Expeditions

Fantasy Stats have no impact when the expert is at the museum. Their influence is felt only on expeditions, where they can either activate or deactivate events.

The expeditions in Scorched Earth present various events that your team’s abilities can affect. Many of these events depend not only on the overall Rank of team members but primarily on the combined total of a specific Fantasy Stat of the expedition crew.

As an example, you might need a combined Strength of 25 to overcome one challenge and a Dexterity of 40 for another.

While many of the requirements can be quite demanding, you can still utilize cargo items, such as Curse Counters and First Aid Kits, to neutralize certain hazards.

    Mixing Fantasy and Non-Fantasy Experts

Certain expeditions in Scorched Earth may require your Fantasy Experts to partner with an expert from another field. However, since only Fantasy Experts possess Fantasy Stats, the “guest” won’t contribute to any events that necessitate these stats.

Conversely, if a Fantasy Expert joins an expedition outside of Scorched Earth, their Fantasy Stats will not be applicable. Nonetheless, in both situations, experts can still utilize Qualifications they’ve earned in the Training Room where relevant.

  • Maximize Your Earnings at The Gift Stop in Two Point Museum

Maximize Your Earnings at The Gift Stop in Two Point Museum

Creating a gift shop is one of the first tasks you’ll want to undertake in Two Point Museum. It serves as a vital revenue stream from the start, particularly during tougher campaign levels, and your visitors will appreciate having it.

While it’s easy to set up a basic shop with minimal items and a single staff member, you’ll soon notice that guests will be eager for a wider selection and a more spacious environment to shop in. Failing to provide this will limit your earnings and reduce your museum’s appeal. Here’s how to elevate your gift shop from drab to fabulous.

    Understanding Gift Shops

A gift shop is an essential part of any museum as it generates consistent income, particularly in the early stages when visitor numbers and donations are still low. Moreover, a well-stocked shop boosts your museum’s overall rating and enhances guest satisfaction.

Guests can purchase one of six merchandise types, which you can price at your discretion. The options include Trinkets, Plushies, Posters, Onesies, Books, and Toys. Each item represents a unique type of merchandise, and you can choose its theme from the same six categories used for exhibits.

    Staffing Your Gift Shop

Your gift shop will only require staff members called Assistants. At a minimum, it should contain one entrance, one Checkout Counter, and one Trinket Stand. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

    • The shop must be at least four by three tiles in size.
    • Building it will cost a minimum of $7,500, covering construction and the essential items.
    • While guests typically won’t litter in a gift shop, you may lose points if you don’t provide a Trash Bin.

Tip: It’s beneficial for Assistants to have skills in Customer Service, Guest Happiness, and Aerodynamics, as these can improve checkout efficiency and merchandise restocking.

To maximize your shop’s appeal, stock a diverse range of merchandise that aligns with the themes of your exhibits.

    Enhancing Your Gift Shop

There are various strategies to improve the functionality and profitability of your gift shop, many of which involve changing the products sold and expanding the shop’s size. You can also personalize the flooring and wall designs through the Room Customization option in the shop’s settings.

Just like every other room, your gift shop has a Room Rating of up to five, which you can enhance by adding more merchandise, placing Trash Bins, and incorporating decorations that fit the shop’s theme.

    Increasing Room Capacity

One straightforward way to increase your gift shop’s effectiveness is by boosting its capacity. A smaller room can accommodate fewer guests, limiting sales opportunities. To expand the shop, select the Edit Room option from the information menu.

Room capacity is determined by the number of tiles; every two tiles added increases capacity by one. While there’s no maximum size, aiming for 16 to 25 capacity is ideal for large museums.

More space allows for additional Assistants to be assigned, though each must have their own Checkout Counter to process sales. Assistants can still help with restocking if they are not given a Checkout Counter.

    Adjusting Merchandise Selection

A great way to enhance your gift shop includes evaluating and changing the available merchandise. Different guest types have varying preferences; for instance, professors tend to favor Bookcases and Poster Stands over other items.

You can discover what types of merchandise guests prefer by consulting the Guests section of your Sticker Book.

Given that each Campaign has an overarching theme, tailor your gift shop to fit the types of guests frequenting your museum, which can significantly boost profits.

Here’s a quick overview of guest types and their favored merchandise:

    Guest Type Most Preferred Merchandise
Standard Guest Toy Stand, Bookcase, Poster Stand
    Supernatural Enthusiast Trinket Stand, Bookcase
    Science Enthusiast Toy Stand
Goth Toy Stand, Bookcase, Poster Stand
Frogborne Toy Stand, Bookcase, Poster Stand
Cheese-Monger Toy Stand, Bookcase, Poster Stand
Space Enthusiast Toy Stand, Bookcase, Poster Stand
Space Gibbon Toy Stand, Plushie Stand, Onesie Stand
Marine Life Enthusiast Poster Stand, Plushie Stand
    Botany Enthusiast Poster Stand
Wetlantean Toy Stand, Bookcase, Poster Stand
    Yeti Poster Stand
    Professor Bookcase, Poster Stand
    Tourist Trinket Stand, Bookcase
    Children Onesie Stand, Toy Stand
    Clown Poster Stand, Plushie Stand
    Caveman Poster Stand, Plushie Stand
    Vampire Poster Stand, Plushie Stand

    Crafting a Multi-Theme Gift Shop

Depending on your campaign level and the size of your museum, having a single theme for merchandise may not suffice. If your exhibits encompass both Prehistory and Marine themes, for instance, a one-theme shop could limit profits by failing to attract a diverse guest base.

Once you have at least two themes in your museum, expand your gift shop and assess which types of guests you are attracting. You can use the Sticker Book to check their preferences and then adjust your merchandise selection accordingly.

If you’re organizing specific themes in separate areas of the museum, consider setting up multiple gift shops, each dedicated to one theme, allowing for more specialized inventory and staff.

Through careful planning and attention to your guests’ preferences, your gift shop can become a thriving hub in your museum, enhancing both visitor experience and your revenue stream.

  • Essential Tips for Launching Your Two Point Museum Experience

Essential Tips for Launching Your Two Point Museum Experience

Running a museum isn’t just about showcasing intriguing exhibits; it requires a great deal of effort, especially in Two Point Museum, where you’ll manage a range of specialized museums throughout the game.

With themes like space, the supernatural, and many others, you’ll have a lot to juggle in Two Point Museum, which can feel daunting at first. However, by curating a diverse array of exhibits, decorating thoughtfully, and hiring a few experts, you’ll quickly get your museum flourishing.

    Optimize Exhibit Placement

While variety is essential, organization is key! Just like real-life museums, it’s crucial to group similar exhibits together to enhance visitor satisfaction. As your museums expand, ensure that guests can easily navigate between related exhibits, allowing them to enjoy more of what your establishment has to offer.

Start by constructing rooms designated for specific types of exhibits, incorporating walking paths, decor, and convenience stations like bathrooms or snack machines. This way, when guests enter a room filled with familiar themes, they’ll enjoy themselves more and may even be inclined to donate on their way out.

When placing information stands and decorations, consider the directional arrows shown in the game, which indicate which exhibits will be influenced by those items. The more exhibits you can cluster around items that boost buzz or knowledge, the more effective your placements will be.

    Promote Your Museum

While word of mouth is helpful, one of the most effective ways to increase visitor numbers is to launch targeted marketing campaigns for your museum. With your marketing-trained staff, you can run different campaigns aimed at various types of visitors over specific periods to draw them in.

Marketing campaigns will cost money, but they can significantly boost attendance. More sophisticated campaigns might raise the likelihood of certain visitors coming in by as much as 50%, making them worthwhile—especially after you’ve refreshed your museum or added new attractions.

    Constantly Send Out Expeditions

Having a well-organized museum means little if visitors don’t have enough exhibits to explore. Museums lacking in items will not only attract fewer guests but also struggle to maintain high satisfaction ratings. Thus, it’s essential to regularly dispatch staff on expeditions to acquire new pieces for display.

You can send staff from the helipad located behind the museum to explore different areas, providing the necessary team members and supplies. Expeditions vary in length, with longer ones offering greater experience for your staff, enabling further development in their roles.

Although enhancing existing exhibits and their zones is beneficial, visitors expect a lot of variety for their admission fee. The more exhibits you offer, the longer guests will stay, increasing the chances of donations or purchases before they leave.

Ensure Staff Training From The Start

After expeditions, staff will gain valuable experience, so monitor their progress and aim to send those close to leveling up. Filling their experience meter unlocks an extra trait slot, allowing them to expand their abilities.

Regular training helps staff acquire additional traits throughout their tenure. Experts can enhance skills relevant to expeditions, while customer service personnel can refine their interaction skills. Keep track of individual progress and encourage training whenever opportunities arise.

Keep An Eye On Expedition Risks

Adventure is part of the expedition experience, so it’s vital to consider potential risks before assigning teams. Preparing appropriately by selecting staff skilled in unique areas—like flying for sky-bound trips—can help navigate potential hazards smoothly.

Your crew may encounter unexpected events during their journeys, requiring your input on how to proceed. Careful decisions can yield favorable outcomes, but remember that poor choices may lead to setbacks.

    Cater To Younger Guests

While adult visitors make up a significant portion of guests, children often accompany them. Engaging young visitors with interactive displays and special zones will make their experience more enjoyable.

To create appealing areas for children, consider adding more engaging items. Items like plush toys or themed gifts can attract kids and their guardians, boosting potential sales.

    Manage Ghosts Effectively

In the Wailon Lodge museum, you’ll likely capture ghosts during your expeditions, which can be both exhibits and guests. It’s important to cater to their needs to prevent any disturbances.

Be mindful of the decor in ghost rooms to keep your spectral guests content, as their preferences vary by historical period. Keeping them satisfied not only avoids issues but enhances visitor experiences when they interact with these haunted displays.

    Strengthen Security Measures

As your museum becomes more popular, the likelihood of encountering thieves increases. Ensure you have adequate security systems in place to monitor the premises and catch potential criminals in the act.

Security personnel are also crucial for emptying donation boxes, ensuring that guests can contribute without obstruction. The more protective measures you implement, the better your chances of safeguarding valuable collections.

    Leverage Sponsorships

For immediate financial gains, consider partnering with sponsors to showcase specific exhibits in return for monetary support. These deals can enrich the museum’s offerings while providing extra revenue.

However, weigh the potential downsides, as sponsored displays can sometimes compromise visitor experiences. Strategically choose where to place these exhibits to mitigate any adverse effects.

    Use Kudosh Thoughtfully

Kudosh serves as a premium currency in Two Point Museum, allowing you to unlock extra items. These are available alongside the standard cash transactions you perform, so keep an eye out for opportunities to spend responsibly.

Once you buy access to an item with Kudosh, remember that you’ll still need to purchase it with regular cash for placement in your museum. Be strategic to maximize the benefits this currency offers.

Stay Informed about Point of Interest Unlocks

As you embark on expeditions, familiarize yourself with the unlock goals associated with Points of Interest (POIs) on the maps. Advancing key milestones will open new opportunities for exploration, allowing you to access deeper locations on the maps.

Keeping track of specific unlock goals will help your gameplay, ensuring you stay on top of necessary achievements while enjoying the game’s expedition features.

    Don’t Overlook Botany

Although it may not have its designated museum, Botany is an important skill to develop. Many POIs will require botany expertise, and neglecting this can hold up your progress.

Botanical knowledge is also needed to maintain exhibits, which provide resources for your workshop. Monitor plant needs for climate conditions to support your gardens effectively and ensure that botany experts are on hand for maintenance.

    Monitor Buzz Levels

Buzz is a key factor in your museum’s success; patrons won’t feel inclined to donate if they find exhibits lackluster. Understanding how to enhance your exhibit’s Buzz score is essential since visitors prioritize high Buzz content.

To boost Buzz effectively, engage with exhibits that offer Buzz bonuses. Consider the underlying factors that contribute to the overall Buzz score for each exhibit to optimize your museum’s appeal.

By being attentive to these strategies and techniques, you’ll create a thriving institution that delights your visitors and secures its spot in the spotlight!

  • Securing Sponsorships at Two Point Museum: A How-To Guide

Securing Sponsorships at Two Point Museum: A How-To Guide

Museums always need a steady flow of income to survive, and ideally, much of that funding will come from your supporters as you grow your collections in Two Point Museum. However, if you’re finding it hard to stay in the green each month, exploring sponsorship options might be a good idea.

Your museums can enter into various sponsorship agreements, which might involve showcasing exhibits or selling branded merchandise in your gift shop, all in exchange for funds from a sponsoring company. There’s even a unique sponsorship option available to help save your museum from financial trouble.

In Two Point Museum, there are several ways to generate income through regular gameplay: admission fees from visitors, who may also shop in your gift store after enjoying the exhibits and purchasing food or drinks during their visit. Yet if you find yourself in need of an extra financial push, consider securing sponsorship deals to increase your revenue.

To explore sponsorships, check the Finances tab in the management menu (look for the briefcase icon that provides an overview of your staff, patrons, and more). Within this menu, click on the tab with a handshake icon to access the Sponsorship section, where you can review any pending or active sponsorships for your museum.

While you’re free to accept any sponsorship offer that comes your way, you also have the option to reject any agreements you don’t want. This action helps to keep your menu organized, but you’ll need to wait a few in-game months for new offers to come around after rejecting one.

Sponsorships can take many forms—they might request that you sell branded toys from a company like Cheesy Gubins in your gift shop, support the testing of new technology, and more. These sponsorships are never mandatory, but they can provide a helpful financial boost for your museum. Just remember, not all guests may appreciate certain sponsorship concepts.

Some sponsorship deals can negatively impact guest satisfaction while featured in your museum, like the Holistix Diffuser that claims, “if it’s burning your nostrils, it’s already too late!” If you accept such offers, be prepared to mitigate any negative effects these sponsorships may have on visitor experience, as their financial benefits could come at a cost in terms of public opinion.

If you are grappling with financial issues and face the possibility of bankruptcy, you will unlock access to a third sponsorship deal specifically available for museums at financial risk.

  • Top Strategies for Earning Staff XP in Two Point Museum

Top Strategies for Earning Staff XP in Two Point Museum

Your employees are the heart and soul of Two Point Museum. Without them, exhibits would deteriorate, thieves could easily steal items, and the museum would quickly fall into disarray. While having a sufficient number of staff is crucial to manage your expanding museum, it’s equally important that your long-term employees are skilled and trained to work efficiently. To achieve this, they need to advance and increase their Rank.

In Two Point Museum, your staff members gain experience points (XP) slowly, so if you want to unlock their next skill slot more quickly, here are some effective strategies to speed up their progress.

    Maximize Staff Productivity

Your staff earns XP gradually every time they complete tasks in the museum. Whether they are selling tickets, cleaning facilities, analyzing artifacts, or performing any job-related duty, they accumulate XP. Therefore, you can boost their growth by ensuring they work more and spend less time walking around or waiting.

The most efficient way for staff to gain XP is to have them work with their assigned project devices, such as a Deconstructor, Workstation, Marketing Desk, or Camera Booth. These tools provide a steady stream of XP instead of just a small amount with each guest interaction.

Make sure you have the right number of staff in each role to cover all stations without having extra employees who aren’t busy. For instance, if you have two Ticket Booths but only need one, reduce it to one and assign the other assistant to a different task. This lets the ticket seller serve a constant flow of guests, earning XP consistently rather than having both assistants handle the queue quickly and then experience idle time.

However, keep in mind that employees do need breaks eventually, and you should also ensure you have enough staff available for Expeditions. Overworking your team could lead to resignations, costing you both the investment in their training and the XP they’ve earned.

    Harness the Power of Expeditions

Expeditions can take your staff away from the museum for extended periods, sometimes lasting months. However, they offer a significant XP bonus to anyone who returns safely. Before sending your staff on these journey, make sure they possess enough skills for the more challenging Expeditions. Once your employees reach around Rank 10, Expeditions will be the most efficient way to gain XP.

Consider bringing along the XP-dition Journal, which boosts the total XP earned by your team by fifteen percent. Just be sure you don’t need other items for the trip!

You can also utilize Expeditions to help lower-Rank employees improve their skills. Allow them to accompany higher-Rank staff on challenging missions, benefiting from the seasoned members’ experience to navigate dangerous events. You can also use Rank Cheese to count your group’s total Rank as ten higher, which can help when facing extreme challenges.

    Special Locations for Staff XP

Each map features a unique location that can provide XP to Experts tied to that map’s theme, allowing them to level up faster. Some locations may require the Expert to be at least Rank 5 before they can visit. This helps in getting them to Rank 10, equipping them for advanced Expeditions or ensuring they can maintain things properly at home.

The After-Life Academy in the Netherworld offers several hundred XP per visit to any staff member, regardless of class. However, each course costs $25,000, so while it might be the fastest way to boost a character’s level, it can significantly deplete your museum’s funds unless you’re generating substantial income.

Understanding the Importance of Staff Rank

When staff members embark on an Expedition, their total Rank determines which events may occur. Additionally, some locations are only accessible to those with sufficient experience.

A character’s Rank is also crucial because it allows access to additional Skill slots. Although Rank itself doesn’t influence daily tasks, having more Skills can greatly enhance their efficiency in specific areas. Each character begins with one Skill slot and earns another for every five Ranks they achieve.

These Skill slots can be filled by having the employees train in the Training Room. Keep in mind that studying does not yield additional XP, so you can’t gain twice from the same effort. Furthermore, obtaining new Skills will increase their salary expectations, making them less tolerant of subpar conditions until they receive a raise.

  • Tips for Preserving Botany Exhibits in Two Point Museum

Tips for Preserving Botany Exhibits in Two Point Museum

As the curator of multiple museums in Two Point Museum, your main goal is to ensure their success. This primarily involves curating interesting exhibits for the public. You can choose from various themes, ranging from prehistoric artifacts to unique botanical displays that may include edible or even carnivorous plants.

Every type of exhibit requires proper care. If neglected, exhibits can lose interest, become damaged, or, in the case of botanical displays, wither away. Failing to maintain plant health can result in unsightly dead plants in your museum, leading to wasted funding from your expeditions.

    Understanding Botany Exhibits

Botany is one of the six main themes available for exhibits, and it stands out as a unique category. While it isn’t a strict necessity, it also features its own Enlightenment branch with various unlocks.

Initially, the Botany exhibits become available through the Bone Belt via a Point of Interest called Bigfoot Gardens. Unlike other themes, they do not have a dedicated map, but are instead highlighted on every map, either as key objectives or optional exhibit types you can pursue.

Many botany exhibits provide low to moderate buzz but can yield high donations, even those of average rarity. Some require specialized experts to access, such as the Palm Tree located in the Overgrown Jungle at Two Point Sea, which needs both a Marine Expert and a Botany Expert to discover.

Given how they operate, Botany Exhibits can significantly increase your museum’s income, provided you can manage their more expensive expeditions, as they can be placed in various environments, as long as they are kept away from exhibits needing Dry or Cold Climates.

    Caring for Botany Exhibits

To keep plants healthy, Botany Exhibits feature a Health meter, as opposed to metrics such as Grubbiness or Corrosion. The primary factor determining the depletion speed of this meter is whether the plants are situated in a favorable environment.

Areas like Bungle Wasteland and Pebberly Heights are naturally warm and humid, so you don’t need to set up Heaters or Misters for Botany Exhibits.

Each Botany Exhibit requires a specific environment, generally needing to be both Hot and Humid for optimal growth, although some, like the Peek-a-Lily Pads, can thrive without special conditions.

Player character placing heaters in a room to create a warm environment in Two Point Museum.

You can adjust the environment for your Botany Exhibits by adding climate-control equipment like heaters and misters to their area to regulate temperature and humidity.

    • Heaters are available in three types – regular, wall-mounted, and compact – and raise the temperature in a 15-by-15-tile zone around their placement, indicated in bright red on temperature visualizations.
    • Misters also come in three styles – regular, wall-mounted, and compact – and increase humidity in a 15-by-15-tile area around their setup, shown in light blue on humidity visualizations.

You can view a museum-wide visualization of Temperature, Humidity, Buzz, and more by selecting one of the options in the Visualization section on the far right of the bottom menu panel.

For a plant to thrive, it must have its size plus two tiles of climate control on each side to ensure it is in the correct environment. If not, a symbol will pop up over the exhibit to indicate what’s lacking.

If they aren’t kept in the right environment, the plants will swiftly lose health until they wither completely. When this happens, the exhibit will become unusable, and your only options will be to sell it or analyze it.

Botany Exhibits can cohabitate without issue as long as they don’t have opposing requirements, such as one needing only a humid environment, like the Sickly Pear, being able to thrive alongside one that requires both hot and humid conditions, like the Blooming Buffoon.

The announcer will frequently notify you via the PA system if any exhibit is in the wrong environment, provided at least one is being poorly managed.

    Enhancing Your Botany Experts

Training menu for a Botany Expert in Two Point Museum, ready to gain survival skills.

Botany Experts can possess most of the skills available to other experts, but there are a few key skills to focus on due to the common negative events that occur in points of interest related to Botany: Survival Skills and Survey Skills.

Many events you might face will lead to injuries or, in severe cases, even death to an Expert. Skills like Im-peared or Snake Bite are common threats. Additionally, certain Points of Interest and Obstacles require at least one staff member to have Survival Skills to embark on an Expedition.

Having a Botany Expert trained in both Survival Skills and Survey Skills makes for one of the best combinations, allowing enough skill slots to upgrade one skill to level two and another to level three.

Survey Skills significantly enhance the quality of Exhibits obtained by increasing the Survey Rate of any Expedition by 30 at the first skill rank and offering cumulative benefits based on the number of staffed experts and their skill levels.

This can effectively reduce costs by shortening the number of expeditions required for a location and minimizing time spent, as fewer detailed trips would be necessary.

Moreover, having high Survey Skills can enhance the safety of your Experts, often yielding at least a Great or Epic rarity Exhibit from just one Expedition, reducing the need for multiple trips to more hazardous points of interest.

Useful Workshop Items for Botany Expeditions

Player using Plant Camouflage to mitigate a negative event during an Expedition in Two Point Museum.

Almost all Cargo items can be beneficial, but the top three for Botany expeditions are the Survey Scanner, Illness Elixir, and Plant Camouflage.

These items help counter various negative events, and when combined with Survival Skills and highly-ranked experts, they can render expeditions almost entirely safe:

    • The Survey Scanner is available on the Memento Mile map. It typically amplifies the Survey Level of any Expedition and also prevents certain events, like Stagnant Water, which can lead to Irritable Trowel sickness.
    • The Illness Elixir unlocks on the Bungle Wasteland Map after reaching a One Star Ranking. It’s considered one of the best Cargo items in the game, as it can completely block one illness-causing event per Expedition, covering events that can’t be avoided through skills or combined ranks.
    • The Plant Camouflage is also unlocked on the Bungle Wasteland map through campaign objectives and is created by mulching Botany Exhibits in the Science Exhibit using the Mulch-o-matic. It can be used to counter specific plant-related events and can prevent an MIA that might otherwise eliminate one of your staff members, making it quite valuable.

The First-Aid Kit is also always a good choice. It’s available right from the start of the game and will eliminate one injury-related event, and can counter some situations that can’t be resolved through skills or combined ranks.

When sending your staff on expeditions, choose a location to send them called Points of Interest, or POIs. As you train your staff and unlock new areas, you’ll reveal more of these locations. Unlock access to 25 unique POIs to achieve this trophy—regardless of which museums they belong to.

    Tour de Force

    Create a 5-star tour.

Set up a tour stand designated for your museum, allowing chosen staff members to conduct guided tours for visitors seeking insights into the exhibits. These tours are rated by quality, so aim to create the best experience possible to earn this achievement.

    Healing Journey

Heal an injury or illness by sending staff to Remedial Springs.

When staff return from expeditions, they may bring back treasures but could also be injured. For those who need a little extra care, send them to Remedial Springs for quicker healing to unlock this trophy.

    Perked Up

Add 3 perks to a single exhibit.

Exhibits possess varying numbers of perk slots based on their rarity, and more slots mean you can enhance exhibits further. Finding one that can accommodate three perks requires excellent quality finds from expeditions, but think of the excitement it will generate!

    Straight to Jail

Apprehend a thief stealing an exhibit.

Having solid security will be essential, but you can catch thieves in the act if you see them taking your exhibits. Ensure you have a security guard—either human or robotic—on hand to capture the thief.

    Byte at the Museum

Employ 10 Robo-staff members (Janitors or Security Guards) in a single museum.

Once you’ve developed robotic staff members in the workshop by upgrading your machines, you’ll be able to create various types of employees instead of hiring. Fill ten staff roles at any museum with robots you’ve made at the workshop.

    Built on Sand(box)

Construct a level 10 museum in Sandbox Mode.

From the game’s main menu, you can opt for Sandbox Mode instead of the regular campaign, allowing complete customization of your museum. Although this mode tracks the quality of your exhibits, maintain upgrades to reach level 10 for this achievement.

To make this easier, set your Sandbox run with the maximum starting funds since the game focuses on your earned results rather than your initial budget.

    Product Placement

    Earn $10,000 from sponsored exhibits.

    Comprehensive Curator

    Thaw & Order

Have a donation stand vandalized by a Defrosted Cave-Person.

After using the Time Portal to introduce a Cave Person to the museum, their curiosity about the modern world may lead to mischief. This trophy activates automatically the first time they damage a donation stand.

    The Anomalonians *

Activate the final Astral Anomaly exhibit.

On reaching the Space Museum, Pebberly Heights, as part of the campaign, you’ll encounter various unique universe-themed requirements. Completing this task signifies the campaign’s conclusion; however, you may continue playing in any museum afterward.

    Prehistory Mystery *

    Activate a Prehistory Mystery exhibit.

The assembled exhibits and taxidermy creatures collected on expeditions aren’t suddenly coming back to life to frighten visitors, are they?

    Ex-plorer *

Lose a staff member during an expedition.

Expeditions come with risks—sending your team to dangerous areas without proper training increases the chances of a staff member not returning. You can purposely send untrained staff to high-risk locations to trigger this event.

  • Adjusting Room Temperature in Two Point Museum: A Guide

Adjusting Room Temperature in Two Point Museum: A Guide

Without exhibits, a museum loses its essence. In the aptly named Two Point Museum, that’s exactly what you’ll be managing. Whether you’re diving into Campaign mode or experimenting in Sandbox mode, your mission entails setting up various museums and populating them with unique exhibits.

You’ll discover all kinds of treasures; from dinosaur bones and fossils to extraterrestrial artifacts, you have the freedom to place them wherever you like. Like in the real world, your exhibits require specific conditions to remain in good shape, especially if they are living specimens. It’s essential to maintain appropriate temperatures to avoid decay or deterioration.

    Caring for Your Exhibits

As time passes, your exhibits will gradually lose one of four key stats: Grubbiness, Iciness, Health, and Maintenance. Each of these stats is represented by a meter ranging from 0 to 100. As these meters decline, various negative outcomes will emerge based on the specific stat in question.

    Meter Overview

Meter Type Exhibits That Use It Consequences of a Low Meter
Grubbiness Prehistory, Science, Marine Exhibits will lose their allure, eventually resulting in no interest.
Iciness Frozen Finds Exhibits risk melting and may become damaged beyond repair.
Health Botany, Aquarium (Marine) Exhibits may become ill and, if neglected, will die.
Maintenance Space Exhibits may experience malfunction, posing potential fire hazards.

If any stat falls below 70%, you face increased risks for your exhibits, your museum, or both. To mitigate these risks, having Experts for each exhibit type is crucial.

Tip: Match the Expert’s specialization to the type of exhibit. Experts can only address the needs of the exhibits that align with their expertise.

Experts will regularly tend to your exhibits, but if your museum has numerous exhibits and few Experts, you may need to check in manually and request restorations.

To clean or restore an exhibit, you can either select it directly or utilize the Exhibit List option in the menu. Doing this will allow you to call on an Expert to take care of it promptly. It’s wise to stay vigilant, as even with automatic cleaning, you should keep an eye on the condition of your exhibits. If you notice that an exhibit’s meters are dropping too quickly, consider adjusting its climate for better stability.

    Understanding Exhibit Climate

Each type of exhibit has a preferred climate for optimal performance. For example, Botany exhibits thrive best in Hot Climates. Changing a room’s climate involves adjusting the temperature in that area. You can view the Temperature Visualization through the menu to monitor different climate zones.

Initially, every museum area has a Neutral Climate. To alter it, you must install specific machines that can modify the climate characteristics accordingly.

Note: If you choose to remove a climate-altering machine, the area will revert to a slightly dry climate instead of a neutral one.

    Climate Types and Their Requirements

Climate Type Temperature Needed Machinery Needed Preferred Exhibits
Neutral Climate None None Prehistory, Supernatural, Space, Science
Dry Climate Dry Dehumidifier, Small Dehumidifier, Wall Dehumidifier Prehistory
Cold Climate Cold Freezer, Small Freezer, Wall Freezer Frozen Finds
Hot Climate Hot Heater, Small Heater, Wall Heater, Botanical Heater Botany
Humid Climate Humid Mister, Small Mister, Wall Mister, Botanical Mister Botany

    Keeping Dry Climate Exhibits

Dry Climate Exhibits primarily encompass items from the Prehistory category, including fossils and dinosaur remains. These exhibits have a Grubbiness Meter, indicating that the surrounding area must remain completely dry. They cannot be placed near any machines that alter the climate, except for the Dehumidifier, which is specifically designed for dry conditions.

Having this machine within the vicinity will not only convert the climate from Neutral to Dry but can also reduce the rate of Grubbiness decline by about 10%, allowing your prehistory experts more time to focus on other tasks.

    Maintaining Cold Climate Exhibits

Cold Climate Exhibits primarily consist of items from the Frozen Finds category. Unlike others, these exhibits rely on an Iciness Meter. Surrounding areas must have a Cold Temperature maintained by at least one freezer unit. If these conditions aren’t met, your exhibits may quickly deteriorate.

Bonus: Allowing certain Frozen Finds to melt can trigger a fun Easter egg, leading to an achievement.

To prevent your Frozen Finds from deteriorating, keep nearby freezers over 50% operational to maintain the Iciness Meter effectively.

Maintaining Hot and Humid Climate Exhibits

While separate, most exhibits that require a Hot Climate, such as Botany ones, also need a Humid Climate to thrive. Ensure that the surrounding area is equipped with heat-pumping machines like heaters, and humidity-generating machines like misters. In most cases, exhibits need both heating and humidity to stay healthy, making multiple machines beneficial.

These machines require regular maintenance from a Janitor, while an Expert should periodically tend to any exhibits requiring water or restoration, such as the vibrant Man-Eating Plants in the Botany category.

    Managing Aquatic Exhibits

Aquatic exhibits have specific climate needs and often require unique water-based settings. Most start with a Temperate Climate, suited for temperate fish. However, various fish types, like the Lionhead, may require Tropical or Cold-water Climates.

Adjusting any aquarium climate involves placing a Water Heater or Coldwater Cooler inside it. Typically, you only need one machine for each aquarium, unless it’s exceptionally large.

For maintenance, a Marine Expert will be necessary since only they can service the equipment within the aquariums.

With the right care and adjustments, your museums can be vibrant spaces full of life and learning. Embrace your role as a curator and create an engaging environment for visitors to explore.

  • Revamp Your Furniture at Two Point Museum: A Quick Guide

Revamp Your Furniture at Two Point Museum: A Quick Guide

Decorating your own museums in Two Point Museum is already a blast. You can mix and match wallpapers, flooring, and various decorations, but why limit yourself to just the basics? You have the opportunity to take customization to the next level and make each item truly your own!

There are several ways to alter the colors of your furniture and displays in Two Point Museum. Items marked with a round paint palette icon can be adjusted to fit the overall theme of your museum.

Utilize Sliders for Customizing Furniture and Decorations

The initial levels in your Prehistory museum provide plenty of tips on how to arrange your exhibits to boost the decoration score, which your visitors will certainly appreciate. With numerous themes and a variety of furniture pieces unlocked through the campaign mode, you’ll find yourself customizing the colors of certain items to better fit their surroundings in no time.

You can personalize your furniture and decorations in Two Point Museum before and after setting them up. Fortunately, once an item is placed, you won’t incur any additional costs for customization, giving you full freedom to express your style across every corner of your museum.

If you’re changing colors before placing a piece, look for the orange palette icon on the item in your catalog. Not every piece will have this icon, meaning they are fixed in their appearance. However, any item with this icon can be customized. Click into the customization menu to select the color using a circular hue selector and then adjust the saturation meter to achieve the exact shade you want.

In addition to changing colors, many decorations offer other customization options. By interacting with the blue paintbrush icon in the bottom right corner of any item in the menu, you can modify things like rock formations, exhibit designs on banners, the number of animal prints, and much more.

Changing the type of plushies displayed in a gift shop by customizing the theme in Two Point Museum.

If you want to modify an item you’ve already placed—perhaps due to a change in theme or a desire for a new layout—you can easily do so. Just hold to pick up an item, which will open a small menu on your screen that shows details about that item.

At the bottom of this menu, you’ll find several icons for selling or storing the item. Select the Customize Furniture option from this row. This will bring up the same hue selector for recoloring as you would use for items before placement. After adjusting the color, you can return the item to its original location with a fresh look.

Interestingly, customizing furniture or decor doesn’t seem to influence your guests’ opinions. They care more about how well the items are arranged and maintained rather than if the colors are coordinated.

  • Maximizing the Marketing Office in Two Point Museum

Maximizing the Marketing Office in Two Point Museum

In Two Point Museum, a significant portion of your revenue stems from donations made by visitors. To make an exhibition successful, it’s essential to draw in guests who are willing to contribute generously. While having a large museum with diverse exhibits attracts broad interest, achieving that is more of a long-term ambition. For now, your best strategy for maximizing the potential of your current collection lies in the Marketing Room.

Continue reading to discover how the Marketing Room functions and to master its effective use for your museum.

Running a Marketing Campaign in Two Point Museum

Each Marketing Room in your museum can manage just one 90-day Marketing Campaign at a time. If you have several Marketing Rooms, you can run a campaign in each, though this can become costly due to staffing and promotional expenses, so make sure your budget allows for it.

For a Marketing Campaign to be effective, it must be overseen by an Assistant with one or more levels of Marketing skills. While some Assistants may start with this skill, many will need training. The greater the Marketing level of the Assistant, the more successful the Campaign they manage will be.

When launching a Marketing Campaign, the total cost and effectiveness depend on whether you opt for a Basic, Standard, or Elaborate Campaign. Higher-priced Marketing Campaigns offer larger bonuses – details below.

You have the option to set the Campaign to automatically repeat once it ends. If selected, you’ll incur charges for each new campaign on commencement, and the Marketing Room will continue the same Campaign until you disable this feature.

Marketing Campaign Types in Two Point Museum

Every time you initiate a new Marketing Campaign, you can select one of three types using the tabs at the top of the Marketing menu:

    • A Guest Campaign, which targets increasing foot traffic or drawing visitors interested in specific themes.

Tips for Using Marketing Campaigns in Two Point Museum

When executing Marketing Campaigns, aim to capitalize on your museum’s strengths rather than attempting to compensate for weaknesses. Since bonuses are based on percentages and odds, you’re more likely to recoup your investment if you attract a lot of donations from the visitors your Marketing team brings in.

As a rule of thumb, concentrate on Campaigns that enhance a larger number of Exhibits in your museum. Regularly organize Campaigns around the main theme of your Exhibits. You can explore subcategories and specific pieces only if they have high Buzz totals or if your collection is significantly skewed toward a certain subcategory. Even those without direct interest will be impressed by the Buzz and more inclined to donate.

Once you have several Marketing Rooms functioning, assess Guest Campaigns to boost attendance. Focus on what your museum does best: If you offer many Interactive Displays, for instance, target Families since children are likely to enjoy these Exhibits and leave positive feedback. If your offerings are rich in information, attract Professors, Yetis, and Goths.

If you cater to Cheesemoongers, you can easily provide a Dream Visit by serving the Melted Cheese Medley in your Cafeteria, resulting in an excellent Museum Rating!

  • Unlocking the Silverbottom Reunion Achievement in Two Point Museum

Unlocking the Silverbottom Reunion Achievement in Two Point Museum

Long before your team in Two Point Museum began searching for new artifacts, Twiggy Silverbottom and her cousins ventured into the uncharted areas of Two Point County. Unfortunately, one by one, they met their demise, and now their spirits linger in many places you’ll explore.

If you manage to locate all four ghosts and place them together in a Polterguest Room, you’ll earn the Silverbottom Reunion Achievement/Trophy, along with a new exhibit that’s bound to attract visitors to your museum.

Where to Find the Silverbottom Ghosts

Twiggy and her cousins—Bish, Bim, and Biff—can be found haunting each of the four exploration maps on Earth within Two Point Museum. They never traveled to space, so there’s no need to search for them in The Known Universe.

    Bim Silverbottom

Bim resides in the Withering Way within the Bone Belt. To retrieve his spirit, you’ll need a Prehistory Expert and a Janitor, both at Rank 5, along with a Supernatural Expert of any level. At $20,000 per attempt, Bim is the most expensive of the Silverbottom ghosts to recover.

Before you head out, avoid scheduling your trip during Seismic Season. This time brings a risk of Cave Collapse events that could lead one of your staff to share Bim’s fate. If your team’s Rank totals 30 or greater, you can prevent this event, but achieving that can be a challenge.

Bring a Curse Counter to keep your staff from becoming possessed by the more malevolent spirits in the Withering Way.

    Bish Silverbottom

Bish can be found haunting the wreck of the SS Silverbottom beneath the Two Point Sea. He resides in the second of two locations associated with the ship, known as Silverbottom Salvage. The wreck itself is home to several Pirate Spirits, including the notorious Captain Dreadge.

Rescuing Bish from his watery resting place costs $10,000 and requires both a Marine Life Expert and a Supernatural Expert. Your team should have both the Pilot Wings and Survival skills to avoid danger from drowning. If you can spare a skill slot for Happy Thoughts, it can help counter Seasickness.

Alternatively, you could hire Experts with the Sea Legs trait, though you would need a bit of luck for both experts to have it.

Unless the combined Rank of both characters is 20 or greater, bring a Curse Counter to prevent one from being possessed; this will save you a trip to Curses, Curses, Curses for healing.

    Biff Silverbottom

Biff, sporting his magnificent mustache, is located deep within Bungle Burrows. You’ll need to progress far in the Bungle Wasteland story to access the Cryo Labs. A visit to the Labs costs $6,000, but you’ll likely need to make at least two trips since your first visit will always reward you with the blueprint for the Air Commissioner.

However, the Cryo Labs are the least hazardous among the Silverbottom haunt locations. With your Science Expert and Assistant, you should be easily able to achieve a combined Rank of 10. If the Expert possesses the Survival Skills to counter the Blizzard event, you can ensure an XP bonus! Additionally, you can use First Aid Kits or Rank Cheese to manage negative events if your team’s skills aren’t at the desired level.

    Twiggy Silverbottom

It remains uncertain if Twiggy truly made it to the afterlife during her journey or if she became lost before her death, causing her spirit to wander. Regardless, you’ll need to visit The Resting Place in the Netherworld to bring her back. This journey is perilous, so ensure all three team members have at least Rank 5—preferably more.

Attempting to rescue Twiggy’s spirit costs $17,500 and requires two Supernatural Experts and a Janitor. Having them at Rank 5 ensures they each have two skill slots. Make sure the chosen Janitor has two levels of Happy Thoughts while the Supernatural Experts have two levels of Analysis and Spirit Whispering, respectively.

Advanced training in these three skills will help mitigate the risks of The Resting Place.

With this configuration, all that’s left is Hellhole Repellant or Rank Cheese to ward off a potential Hellhole Holdup; and as long as you avoid going during Nightmare Season, extracting Twiggy from the Netherworld should be safe.

How to Set Up the Silverbottom Ghosts for an Exhibit

The Silverbottoms gain Buzz Bonuses for being in the same Polterguest Room, so having all four together in a fully-decorated room can yield a total Buzz of 340—making it a prime attraction, especially for Supernatural Enthusiasts. This group of ghosts tends to be quite relaxed and will accept any decor.

As long as there’s some form of entertainment—ideally at least one TV, bookshelf, gramophone, or another object for each of them in addition to regular decorations—they’re easy to manage.

The Silverbottoms require a Polterguest Room that’s at least 20 squares total. A room size of 5×4 is sufficient, but feel free to go larger if you like; just ensure the space complements the preferences of any new roommates.

Even better, each of the Silverbottom ghosts offers a unique bonus that can be utilized as soon as you rescue them!

    Silverbottom Bonuses

    Ghost

    Ability

    Twiggy Silverbottom

Guests who visit Twiggy’s room tend to stay at the museum longer.

    Biff Silverbottom

Cleans any messes in his Polterguest Room without needing to call a Janitor.

    Bim Silverbottom

Boosts guest happiness as if they had interacted with a Customer Service-trained Assistant.

    Bish Silverbottom

Ghosts in the same room as Bish experience a slower loss of Peace.

  • Quick Cash Strategies in Two Point Museum

Quick Cash Strategies in Two Point Museum

Two Point Museum Guide: Maximizing Your Revenue

In Two Point Museum, like in any management simulation, you’ll need to juggle your expenses and income wisely. Your museum’s funding will come primarily from donations, rather than ticket sales, so managing your budget effectively is crucial. High staff costs can make it tricky to maintain a sustainable income, but with some strategic planning, you can encourage more generosity from your visitors.

If you’re struggling to secure the necessary funds for your next project, check out these tips to boost your financial standing.

    Group Exhibits Together

Guests donate based on their experience, so it’s essential to create an environment that maximizes both excitement and knowledge. To accomplish this, focus on fulfilling their entertainment, food, and overall needs, which will encourage them to stay longer, enjoy more exhibits, and contribute to donation bins.

Tip: Pack as many exhibits as possible into each room while maintaining walkways and pleasing decor. A moderately sized room filled with engaging exhibits and informative displays will attract more donations than a larger space with exhibits spread too far apart.

    Guided Tours

Creating guided tours that highlight closely grouped exhibits with a common theme can significantly enhance guest satisfaction. Visitors prefer shorter walking distances, so grouping high-quality exhibits together allows for smooth, efficient tours. Notably, donations from these tours are collected immediately, eliminating the need for a security guard to handle funds!

    Expand the Gift Shop

A well-sized and adequately staffed gift shop can be a significant profit center. Guests are inclined to spend considerable amounts here, so ensuring that it’s easily accessible and that checkout lines move swiftly is vital.

Tip: A larger gift shop can accommodate more customers at once. Aim for one checkout counter for every ten guests, plus an extra or two for good measure to avoid long waits.

If sales are slow, consider lowering prices to encourage more purchases. Customers who feel they’ve bagged a good deal are likely to spend more time in the museum overall.

    Sell Old Exhibits

As you advance in the game, you may find yourself with surplus copies of common exhibits obtained from expeditions. If you’ve maxed out the knowledge on these items, selling them for quick cash can finance further expeditions for more valuable artifacts.

Alternatively, wait for a collector to visit. Display anything that might pique their interest, as collectors purchase at a premium—often double the regular selling price.

    Explore Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships can provide crucial financial support, but you’ll need to know where to look. Go to the Finances Menu and click on the Sponsors Tab. Here, you’ll find two sponsorship options at a time, along with the chance to declare bankruptcy if you’re in a tight spot.

A sponsorship will require you to display a specific exhibit in exchange for a monthly bonus and extra cash for each visitor to that exhibit. However, be aware that some sponsored exhibits may have drawbacks, like creating litter or displaying advertisements that might annoy your guests. Weigh the financial benefits against these potential issues.

    Adjust Ticket Prices

Raising or lowering ticket prices can have significant impacts on your revenue. Lower prices may encourage guests to stay longer and spend more overall, while increasing prices could provide quick financial relief if you’re facing losses. However, be sure to adjust prices back down once your situation stabilizes—unless guests still view the higher price as a fair deal!

    Consider Taking Out a Loan

Loans are available in the Finances Menu and can provide a lump sum of cash quickly. Keep in mind, though, that repayments start right away, and higher loans usually come with higher interest rates. It’s essential to have a solid plan for using the funds wisely rather than blowing it all at once.

Tip: Use loans strategically for significant projects like new exhibits or expanded gift shops to ensure that the potential earnings outweigh the interest costs.

In summary, effective budgeting and strategic planning are vital for your museum’s success. By grouping exhibits, expanding sales opportunities, exploring sponsorships, adjusting ticket prices, and managing loans, you can ensure a thriving museum experience for both you and your guests.
