Top Knight Builds and Skills for Completing The Slormancer

The Mighty Knight serves as the sword master in The Slormancer, but his inventive fighting style might catch you off guard. Instead of relying solely on close-combat attacks, the Knight wields an array of formidable ranged abilities like the Throwing Sword and The Elder Lance, giving him a unique edge as a fighter.

The build system in The Slormancer is impressively complex, featuring numerous layers of mechanics. If you’re looking for guidance on creating the ideal Knight build, you’ve landed in the right spot. We’ll explore some great suggestions for Slorm Reapers, Skills, and key stats to focus on.

    Slorm Reapers

Your choice of Slorm Reaper shapes your build, and with 120 options at your fingertips, it can be daunting to find just the right one. Fortunately, we have some solid recommendations for Slorm Reapers that excel across various builds to help you get started.

    Big Fury Sword

The Big Fury Sword significantly boosts your Raw Damage. Additionally, it makes your Skill Damage Lucky, meaning each attack rolls its damage twice and takes the higher value, resulting in boosted overall damage.

This sword is excellent for nearly any build that emphasizes Raw Damage instead of Elemental Damage. However, keep in mind that it might not always be the top choice for every Slorm Reaper, so consider using it until you find something tailored to your build.

    Sword Of Endless Transference

The Sword of Endless Transference enhances Indirect Damage, which includes any damage not directly dealt by you, such as Damage over Time effects like Bleed or Burn. This Slorm Reaper allows your Indirect Damage to Leech Life and Mana, significantly boosting the survivability of bleed-focused builds. It even stores overkill Indirect Damage for the next hit, ensuring your Bleed stacks aren’t wasted.

    Sword Of Detonating Force

This Slorm Reaper is also suited for Damage over Time builds, offering a distinct option compared to the Sword of Endless Transference. The Sword of Detonating Force amplifies your Damage over Time effects while applying a Time Weakness debuff, which can stack up to 50. Each stack increases the Damage over Time you inflict on the targeted enemy, enhancing your DoT effects.

An interesting feature of this sword is its Ancestral Skill, Detonate, which triggers an explosion of all of a target’s Damage over Time effects. This ability is particularly effective against bosses, allowing you to quickly reduce their health.

Giant Sword Of The Giant Slayer

The Giant Sword of the Giant Slayer is a versatile Slorm Reaper that increases your damage against Elites. Its unique effect allows your attacks on Elites to also damage nearby enemies, making it easier to focus your strikes on tough foes.

Moreover, attacks made with this weapon inflict the Enfeeble debuff, causing enemies to take increased damage from all sources. Overall, the Giant Sword of the Giant Slayer is a fantastic option for amplifying DPS without needing to excessively modify your build, making it an ideal choice for testing out the Knight’s Skills.

    Thornbite Sword

A specific playstyle of the Knight revolves around Thorns, enabling you to deal damage by absorbing it. The Thornbite Sword boosts your Thorns Damage as you level up and enhances your Thorns Damage Multiplier if you remain stationary for half a second, alongside granting the Thornbite Protection buff, which shields you from incoming damage.

Thorns builds focus on maximizing your defenses, letting enemies inflict damage upon themselves as they attempt to breach your health. This build pairs nicely with the Enduring Protector Specialization, which emphasizes damage reflection, reduction, and Thorns damage.

    Skills

The Knight possesses a diverse array of Skills that are enjoyable and potent, so experimenting with your favorites can yield the best outcomes. Here are some recommended starting points:

    Whirlwind

Whirlwind delivers the classic spin-to-win experience essential in any ARPG. By channeling this Skill, you’ll spin in place, dealing continuous damage to nearby enemies.

A fun way to enhance Whirlwind is to combine it with Arcane Beam and Dancing Blades, giving each rotation a chance to inflict additional damage. As you upgrade these Mastery nodes, you’ll blanket the battlefield with extra damage effects while swirling with your weapon.

Whirlwind blends well with stats like Life Leech and Mana Leech due to its rapid number of hits per rotation. These stats will help sustain you during fights with large groups of enemies. Additionally, with sufficient Mana Leech, you can entirely cover the channel cost of Whirlwind, allowing you to equip powerful Auras to boost its effectiveness even further.

    Grappling Hook

The Grappling Hook serves as a fantastic Secondary Skill for the Knight, offering various effects that complement attack-focused Skills like Mighty Swing or Whirlwind. When used, the Grappling Hook pulls you toward a targeted enemy or wall and inflicts damage along the way.

Its utility skyrockets with the Captain Hook Mastery node, allowing it to hit in all directions and pull enemies toward you instead. This feature is especially handy for grouping foes, making it easier to activate Whirlwind’s shorter range effectively.

The Long Chain Mastery upgrade enhances Captain Hook further by enabling you to pull enemies from longer distances. For melee-centric builds, Grappling Hook proves to be a valuable asset.

    The Elder Lance

The Elder Lance stands out as one of the Knight’s most unique Skills. Initially, you throw a spear that doesn’t deal any damage, prompting the spirit of Bryan to throw his spear afterward for the actual damage.

This Skill can be upgraded with the Honorable Throw Mastery node, allowing the lance throw to inflict damage, which can then pair with Ancestral Training to deal twice the damage of Bryan’s spear, making the initial hit the attack’s primary damage source.

You can also scale the Elder Lance’s damage using the Align the Stars node, granting a Cosmic Stack for each cast that raises the damage of your Astral Meteors and Astral Retributions. If you unlock the Cosmic Power node, you can boost the base damage of the Elder Lance with no stack limit, making it particularly effective in scenarios like the Great Forge, where you can progressively build its power.

    Stats

Just like any build in The Slormancer, your stats may vary widely based on your Slorm Reaper, Skills, Legendaries, and more. For instance, a Damage over Time build will prioritize different stats than one centered around damage reflection.

For builds that deal rapid hits, like Whirlwind, Life Leech and Mana Leech are nearly essential. Furthermore, these builds should focus on defensive stats like Max Life and Armor since they’ll be in close combat, making them vulnerable to melee damage.

If you’re using the Throwing Sword to inflict significant Bleed, try to enhance your Damage over Time stats, along with bonuses to projectiles, such as Pierce, Fork, or Rebound Chance, to maximize each sword throw’s potential.

Movement Speed is a universally beneficial stat to include, so consider stacking some on your gear.

  • Completing the Top Huntress Builds and Skills in Slormancer

Completing the Top Huntress Builds and Skills in Slormancer

The Huntress is a range-focused bow character in The Slormancer, equipped with various arrows to eliminate foes. Even her basic Arrow Shot can become formidable when enhanced with specific Mastery nodes, allowing it to split upon impact or bounce off walls, generating projectiles across the battlefield.

With the Huntress alone, players can explore countless effective builds, each offering a distinct playstyle to approach challenges. In the following sections, we’ll highlight some of the best build options for the Huntress, including suggestions for Slorm Reapers, Skills, and Stats to aim for.

    Slorm Reapers

Your choice of Slorm Reaper is vital to defining your build, so it’s essential to pick one that matches your preferred playstyle. Whether you want a melee poison setup, a turret configuration, a passive Wandering Arrow strategy, or any of the many other options, selecting the right Slorm Reaper can make a significant difference. Here’s a look at some recommendations.

    Big Fury Bow

The Big Fury Bow provides an exceptional boost to overall Raw Damage. Each level increases your Raw Damage, Max Raw Damage, and Raw Damage Multiplier, allowing you to reach impressive damage levels. This Slorm Reaper also makes your Skill Damage Lucky, meaning it will roll damage twice and choose the higher value. This increases the likelihood of hitting the upper end of your damage range, enhancing your overall DPS.

    Epic Resounding Drum-Bow of War

This is the ultimate form of the Drum-Bow of War, focusing on creating and modifying projectiles, something the Huntress excels at. Its base stats increase your Pierce and Fork Chance Multipliers, making these effects more probable. What sets this Bow apart is its unique Drum Effects, which activate in a sequence when you use a Projectile with either your Primary or Secondary Skill. These effects can enhance Pierce or Fork chances, and even generate additional damaging projectiles.

    Bow of the Spider Nest

This Huntress Reaper also enhances projectiles. Its base stats improve your chances of Pierce and Rebound and multiply those probabilities. Additionally, this Bow’s special effect allows you to shoot webs when casting your Projectiles, which also Pierce and Rebound. Moreover, your projectiles can Rebound off all edges of the map instead of just walls, resulting in a greater number of projectiles engaging enemies and making them effective in areas like the Slorm Temple, which lacks walls.

    Bow of Concentrated Inner Strength

The Huntress’s specialization, the Mist-Walker, thrives on the Inner Fire mechanic. Inner Fires are special AoEs that surround your character, damaging any foes caught within. The Bow of Concentrated Inner Strength boosts Inner Fires significantly, enhancing their damage and extending their duration. Furthermore, it grants the Fast Expansion Ancestral Skill, allowing you to trigger a new Inner Fire immediately after the previous one expires, leading to a smoother playstyle. This Slorm Reaper is an excellent choice for those who enjoy this mechanic.

    Skills

While primarily a ranged class, the Huntress also possesses several melee attacks, along with poison options and turrets, providing even more gameplay diversity. The synergy between your Slorm Reaper and selected Primary and Secondary Skills is crucial to shaping your playstyle, so we encourage experimenting with them as you unlock new abilities to find your favorites.

Here are some strong Skills that can form the foundation of various builds:

    Arrow Shot

Arrow Shot is likely the first skill you’ll unlock as a Huntress, yet it remains one of the class’s most adaptable damage options even at higher levels. With investments in Mastery upgrades like Forking Arrow, Multi-Fork, So Many Arrows, and Multiplicative Arrow, you can unleash waves of arrows that bounce between foes.

When combined with Slorm Reapers like the Epic Resounding Drum-Bow of War, Arrow Shot’s Forking ability can be pushed even further.

    Void Arrow

Void Arrow can be charged to unleash extra projectiles that have a 100% Pierce chance. Initially strong, it can be difficult to use due to its lengthy charge time. However, once upgraded with abilities like Hypervoid Drifter or Torment of the Void, Void Arrow becomes exceptionally powerful.

This skill works particularly well with Reapers like the Bow of the Sharpshooter, which grants even more projectiles after standing still for a brief moment, making it easy to charge the attack.

    Immortal Arrow

Immortal Arrow is the final skill available to the Huntress, offering a unique and powerful ability. When used, it will follow the mouse cursor for one second, allowing you to direct its path. It then travels to each target, inflicting damage along the way. When not activated, it summons Wandering Arrows that automatically seek and engage nearby enemies. You can further enhance this skill through Mastery upgrades like Bolt of the Immortals, which generates smaller projectiles with each Wandering Arrow hit, or Academic’s Arrow to boost the total number of Wandering Arrows.

With sufficient upgrades, you could potentially avoid direct combat and let your Wandering Arrows handle foes for you.

    Tumble

Tumble acts as a support skill for the Sharpshooter of the Wild Specialization, providing excellent mobility options for the Huntress—especially when upgraded with Mastery nodes like Assassin’s Momentum or Good Reception.

This skill’s Mastery tree can significantly enhance your DPS, offering nodes like Agility of the Wild, Precision of the Wild, and Rapid Shot. Tumble can also be used to support the Ravenous Dagger playstyle, enabling you to deploy and retract Ravenous Daggers effectively.

All three of the Huntress Specializations offer unique benefits, but Tumble is particularly useful if you prefer relying on your Primary and Secondary Skills, providing increased mobility and damage output.

    Stats

Once you’ve decided on your playstyle and a Slorm Reaper that complements your Skills, it’s time to optimize your stats for the best performance. Each build may require different stats, so there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. However, here are some general tips.

If you’re focusing on a Fork build with Arrow Shot, enhancing your Attack Speed and Fork Chance is crucial, while Critical Strike Chance and Damage will help improve your overall DPS. For longevity, Life Leech and Mana Leech can provide valuable sustainability during combat.

Movement Speed is universally beneficial, helping you navigate maps or escape threats more easily, while focusing on Raw Damage can directly boost your total damage output.

  • Completing the Journey of a Mage in The Slormancer

Completing the Journey of a Mage in The Slormancer

The Slormancer offers a plethora of character builds, thanks to its vast array of over a hundred Slorm Reapers that can dramatically alter your playstyle. You can traverse the game’s campaign with various builds using any of the three classes. However, the real challenge begins after completing the campaign when you can further fine-tune your build.

If you’re unsure where to start, we have just the guidance you need. Below, we’ll discuss a sample leveling build for the Mage to help you progress through The Slormancer’s campaign. Once you get the hang of the class, feel free to modify this build however you prefer, as the game allows for easy respecs.

    Leveling Slorm Reaper

As the Slorm Reapers you encounter are randomly generated, we suggest holding onto the Adam Nostrus’ Staff until you find a better option. This staff has solid stats that complement this build and offers bonuses for opening and closing breaches as the Reaper develops.

    Build-Specific Slorm Reapers

If you happen to obtain them, here are some Slorm Reapers that fit well with this build:

    • Shockwave Staff of Havoc
    • Manabender
    • Drum-Staff of War
    • Mana Harvesting Staff
    • Energy Overflowing Staff
    • Staff of Ferocious Affinity

    Reaper Runes

You can unlock Reaper Runes through The Great Forge, which allow you to enhance your character further. While they aren’t critical for leveling up, obtaining the right ones may require some effort. If you’re interested, here are some recommendations for this build.

    Activation Rune

    Activation Rune of Fulguron

    Effect Rune

    Rune of the Sharpshooter

    Enhancement Rune

    Enhancement Rune of Adrianne

    Leveling Skills

The heart of this build is Arcane Missiles, which is enhanced to produce numerous Remnants of itself. These are then boosted by Arcane Breach and Time Warp to create Temporal Clones that also cast Remnants, flooding the area with projectiles.

    Arcane Missile

    Mastery I

    Remnant Copycat

    Mastery II

    Temporal Missile

    Mastery III

    Evolve and Overcome

    Mastery IV

    Remnant Lock

    Mastery V

    Emblematic Missile

Arcane Missiles acts as the primary source of damage in this build. The first Mastery upgrade, Remnant Copycat, allows your Temporal Clones to cast an Arcane Missile Remnant. We will summon Temporal Clones using Arcane Breach and Time Warp.

In the second Mastery slot, we utilize Temporal Missile to transform Arcane Missile into a Temporal spell, yielding a Temporal Emblem instead of an Arcanic one. This works well with the fifth Mastery upgrade, Emblematic Missile, which will trigger an extra Arcane Missile Remnant for each non-Arcanic Emblem.

Evolve and Overcome gives Arcane Missile the potential to Pierce, Fork, and Rebound based on the highest of these attributes. To maximize this upgrade, focus your gear on one of these stats. While they don’t affect Remnants, they will boost the main Arcane Missile’s DPS.

Finally, Remnant Lock provides a chance for your Remnants to inflict Time-Lock, preventing the enemy from moving or attacking while delaying damage dealt to them for three seconds. However, if a Time-Locked enemy’s health bar depletes, they still die, so you don’t need to worry about every enemy taking an eternity to defeat.

Remnant Lock significantly enhances survivability for this build, as Time-Locked enemies can’t attack you.

    Arcane Breach

    Mastery I

    Uninvited Guest

    Mastery II

    Multi-Breaches

    Mastery III

    Almighty Remains

    Mastery IV

    Ephemeral Rift

    Mastery V

    Gravitational Force

Arcane Breach serves as our secondary skill, aiding in the creation of Temporal Clones for Arcane Missile Remnants. The first Mastery upgrade, Uninvited Guest, guarantees the creation of a Temporal Clone once Arcane Breach ends at max rank.

This works in conjunction with the fourth Mastery upgrade, Ephemeral Rift, which makes Arcane Breach last only three seconds, enabling you to generate the Clone more quickly. When combined with Multi-Breaches, this allows for almost constant uptime on Arcane Breach.

Almighty Remains provides additional Critical Strike Chance for your Remnants when attacking enemies within the Breach. Critical Strikes significantly boost the damage output of this build, making this upgrade quite beneficial.

Lastly, the fifth Mastery, Gravitational Force, pulls nearby enemies in. While this isn’t the most crucial aspect, it does have some utility compared to other options, given that we won’t be using Arcanic Emblems.

    Time Warp

    Mastery I

    Experienced Battlemage

    Mastery II

    Clone Wars

    Mastery III

    Shamanic Knowledge

    Mastery IV

    Blasts from the Past

    Mastery V

    Overdrive’s Vestige

    Mastery VI

    Out of Time

    Mastery VII

    Phlegmatic Scholar

    Mastery VIII

    Heavier Cannon

Time Warp not only enhances your mobility, but also creates a Temporal Clone at your initial location each time you use it, which subsequently casts Remnants.

For Mastery upgrades, we go with Experienced Battlemage to increase Critical Strike Damage, which scales as you level up.

Clone Wars is crucial, allowing your Temporal Clones to cast Arcane Missile Remnants. Shamanic Knowledge boosts the effectiveness of your Totems, as Clones are considered Totems.

Blasts from the Past enhances the damage dealt by each Remnant, while Overdrive’s Vestige adds a chance to unleash Overdrive damage, targeting additional foes.

In the sixth Mastery upgrade slot, we pick Out of Time, which ensures your Temporal Clones are immune to damage, allowing them to last their entire duration. This is essential for setting up your Remnant-casting Clones.

As previously mentioned, Phlegmatic Scholar works wonderfully with Emblematic Missile for Arcane Missile, granting an extra Remnant cast.

Finally, we choose Heavier Cannon for its bonus to Max Life and Attack Speed, making it the best option for our eighth Mastery slot.

    Ancestral Legacy

Ancestral Legacy board in The Slormancer.

As you journey through the campaign, you’ll collect Ancestral Stones that can be placed into the Ancestral Legacy board for added effects and stats.

To start, use your first Stone to unlock the Raw Emergency circle. This will allow you access to The Viper circle with your second Stone, which offers two essential stats for this build: Movement Speed and Attack Speed. Additionally, the Cooldown Reduction is beneficial for more frequent Arcane Breaches.

Consider investing in the Hex Commander node that branches from Raw Emergency for a boost in Elemental Damage and Mana Regeneration.

We’ll also enhance Elemental Damage through the Elemental Boost and Elemental Reward nodes that stem from Burning Shadow, so make sure to invest in these as you unlock your remaining Ancestral Stones.

    Attributes and Stats

Attributes chart for a Mage leveling build in The Slormancer.

This build is built on a solid mechanical foundation, so your Attributes and gear stats will greatly impact its effectiveness.

    Attributes

As you level up, focus on investing your initial points into Dexterity to enhance your Attack Speed, and Savagery for increased Raw Damage. Fury is also beneficial for eventually boosting your Critical Strike Chance, though this may be less critical early on.

If you find yourself needing more survivability, consider putting some points into Toughness for better Armor and Max Life.

    Stats

When checking your gear, keep an eye out for several important stats that you can add through forging. Here’s a list ranked based on their importance for your leveling progression:

    1. Attack Speed
    2. Raw Damage
    3. Movement Speed
    4. Mana Regeneration
    5. Max Life
    6. Armor
    7. Critical Strike Chance
    8. Critical Strike Damage
    9. Fork/Rebound/Pierce Chance (relevant for Evolve and Overcome)
    10. Time Warp Mastery
    11. Arcane Missile Mastery
    12. Arcane Breach Mastery

    Legendary Effects

Lastly, a few legendary items can significantly enhance this build, should you be fortunate enough to obtain or craft them:

    • Shroud of the Arcanewalker
    • Vestige of Ancient Time
    • Time Traveling Robe
    • Rune of the Timeless
  • Completing the Loot Filter in The Slormancer: A Solving Guide

Completing the Loot Filter in The Slormancer: A Solving Guide

The Slormancer is a rich action role-playing game (ARPG) that offers endless character builds and a wealth of loot. As you navigate the various progression systems, you’ll be stacking your abilities and creating powerful synergies that will help you dominate your foes.

This game is all about increasing your numbers, but the task of sorting through the loot can become overwhelming. Fortunately, The Slormancer features a user-friendly Loot Filter that allows you to eliminate unwanted items, letting you focus on taking down as many undead enemies as possible. Here, we’ll cover everything you need to know about using the game’s Loot Filter, including how to unlock it and make the most of it.

    Unlocking the Loot Filter

In The Slormancer, the Loot Filter isn’t available right from the start. To gain access, you need to free the Blacksmith, Friedrich. You can do this by completing a specific Breach mission in The Guard Room within the Prison.

Once you rescue the Blacksmith, you’ll unlock the Loot Filter. The great news is that you can adjust it anytime—not just when you’re in town chatting with Friedrich.

    Using the Loot Filter

The Loot Filter enables you to hide unwanted items by filtering based on different categories. You can start by filtering the items by their rarity, which includes Normal (grey), Magic (green), Rare (blue), Epic (yellow), and Legendary (orange).

Within each rarity category, you can further refine your choices by un-hiding items based on specific criteria, such as having a Pure stat, being Highlighted, or exceeding a certain Reinforcement level.

Items that are filtered out will be automatically converted into Fragments or Goldus at 75% of their normal value, ensuring that nothing you find goes to waste.

Any items not hidden by the Loot Filter will remain visible on the ground as usual.

    Highlighting Stats

To highlight a stat so it isn’t hidden by your Loot Filter, simply open your character page and scroll through your list of stats using the tabs on the left. Click on the desired stat to add a small orange mark next to it. Any item with that stat will now be highlighted in your inventory or appear highlighted when it drops.

Highlighted stats will show up in yellow text on items, allowing you to quickly determine if they have the features you’re looking for.

    Understanding Pure Stats

Pure Stats are a special type of attribute that may be present on gear. These stats, indicated by their blue text, are notable for rolling above the standard range for that particular stat.

For instance, a standard pair of gloves might have the Raw Damage stat rolling between 158 and 226 (depending on the gear’s level). However, if that stat is classified as Pure, it could exceed 226, up to a certain cap.

If a Pure Stat rolls at its absolute maximum, it’s termed a Perfect Stat.

In essence, Pure Stats represent higher rolls of ordinary stats, giving your gear an extra edge. However, be aware that Pure Stats can’t be added at the Forge, and rerolling a Pure Stat will revert it to a standard stat.

  • Completing Top Mage Builds and Skills in The Slormancer

Completing Top Mage Builds and Skills in The Slormancer

Sure! Here’s a rewritten version of the content in American English:

The build options in The Slormancer can be both exciting and overwhelming, depending on the player. With a vast array of choices from Slorm Reapers to Legendary gear, piecing together the best setup can feel challenging, especially if you’re lacking certain items.

Fortunately, the campaign and midgame of The Slormancer allow for a lot of flexibility. You can experiment with any weapon and skills that catch your fancy, especially since the campaign is relatively simple. The game only increases in difficulty toward the endgame, giving you ample opportunity to find what truly suits your style. If you’re searching for initial ideas for the Mage, you’re in the right spot.

    Slorm Reapers

Slorm Reapers are essential to nearly every build in The Slormancer, offering powerful effects that can define your character’s playstyle. While almost every Slorm Reaper can fit into a build, some stand out for their versatility or the effectiveness they offer to specific archetypes.

    Adam Nostrus’ Staff

This is the first Slorm Reaper you receive and its overall solid effects will serve you well until you discover one that better matches your preferred style. The staff evolves twice, gaining benefits that trigger when you open and close Breaches—something you’ll be doing frequently.

It also boosts Raw Damage, Attack Speed, and Life on Hit, all of which work well with any skills or gear you choose. While it’s a solid choice, remember that it’s more of a "jack of all trades" tool and might not be the top choice for specific builds.

    Epic Resounding Drum-Staff Of War

This upgraded version of the Epic Drum-Staff of War enhances projectiles, increasing your Pierce Chance and Fork Chance with each level. It’s particularly effective with the Arcane Missile, significantly increasing your projectile count and the chance they will pierce or redirect to other enemies.

    Staff Of Ferocious Affinity

This staff allows you to improve your overall damage based on your Max Mana, making it an excellent fit for several Mage builds focused on maximizing Mana.

    Staff Of The Manabender

Similar to the Staff of Ferocious Affinity, this staff boosts Mana Regeneration. This becomes vital for enhancing various skills. The Energy Overflowing Staff is also an option, turning extra Mana into additional damage against nearby foes.

    Skills

Your Primary and Secondary skills, along with the Support Skill from your Specialization, are the backbone of your build. Fortunately, every skill in The Slormancer has potential, so your choice is flexible.

Aim for your Primary Skill to be your main damage dealer, while your Secondary Skill should support or amplify it. Here are some strong skill suggestions.

    Arcane Missile

As your initial skill, Arcane Missile can be customized in several ways. A fun approach involves maximizing Remnant casts, which create additional projectiles alongside your main cast.

Utilize the Remnant Copycat node to cast a Remnant simultaneously and the Arcanic Tempo node to generate more projectiles. Combining the Temporal Missile and Emblematic Missile nodes transforms Arcane Missile into a Temporal spell and provides extra Remnants based on your Non-Arcanic Emblems.

This also synergizes with the Phlegmatic Scholar node in the Time Warp mastery, enabling each cast of Arcane Missile to release five extra Remnants, plus bonus projectiles from Arcanic Tempo. Use this together with the Drum-Staff of War Slorm Reaper for an overwhelming number of projectiles.

    Arcane Breach

Arcane Breach creates an area of effect (AoE) that inflicts damage over time on enemies within its radius. This skill pairs smoothly with Arcane Missile, allowing you to hit more foes.

Consider upgrading with the Evergrowing Portal mastery node, which expands the Breach size each time it’s hit by an Arcane Missile. The Temporal Missile upgrade can lengthen the Breach’s duration, while the Multi-Breaches upgrade reduces its cooldown for stacking multiple Breaches.

    Orb Of The Arcane Master

This skill complements Arcane Missile, adding further projectile options. Mastery nodes can decrease its cooldown based on your experience with other Mage skills, highlighting your Mage prowess.

Notably, combining the Temporal Missile upgrade with the Orb of the Temporal Master upgrade allows your Orb to generate extra Remnant Orbs, flooding the area with projectiles.

    Time Warp

Time Warp is the Support Skill for the Phlegmatic Caster, providing mobility by teleporting you to a chosen spot. As an added benefit, it summons a Temporal Clone at your starting location, which can assist during combat.

    Stats

The stats you prioritize depend on your build and specific needs, but some attributes are generally effective for Mages. Max Mana and Mana Regeneration are crucial since many skills and Slorm Reapers rely on these stats to enhance damage output.

These stats are particularly valuable for casting spells, especially early in the game when resource costs can exceed your capabilities due to skill upgrades. Thus, Mana Regeneration is a vital stat for early builds.

Elemental Damage is another key attribute for numerous Mage builds, as many skills inflict this type of damage along with Raw Damage. While Elemental Damage is somewhat specialized, it offers an advantage as fewer enemies can effectively resist it.
