    With the latest Fortnite update, a new danger arrives from above in the form of sweet, tasty treats. These heavy baked goods can be very dangerous if you’re caught in their path, but you can’t avoid the Donut Storm forever if you want to complete all your quests.

    To finish part two of the Springfield Stories quests, you’ll need to survive a Donut Storm while collecting quest items and fighting off enemies. Here’s what you need to know about Donut Storms in Fortnite Chapter 6, The Simpsons.

    How To Find A Donut Storm In Fortnite

    Donut Storms don’t appear immediately. You need to wait until a few storm circles have passed. They usually spawn during storm circle three, so stay alert as the third storm begins to close in.

    You can identify the Donut Storm in several ways:

    • A location marker will show if you’re far enough away, indicating the direction.
    • Your mini-map will display an icon for Donut Storms, represented by pink sprinkle donuts—classic Simpsons style.
    • When inside the Storm, a warning from Homer will pop up, showing him being hit on the head with a donut.

    Note: The timing of Donut Storms might change or increase as more players try to complete quests related to them. Currently, some players find it tough to locate the donuts quickly enough to finish their tasks.

    The donuts don’t fall for long, so be quick if you’re far away and want to see it. The best way to reach the storm when doing quests is by using vehicles or traversal items. You can also:

    • Head to an NPC that offers Rifts.
    • Grab Impulse Grenades.
    • Land near the Power Plant or Tire Fire to use redeployment.

    How To Survive The Donut Storm

    Part two of the Springfield Stories quests requires you to stay inside the storm while doing three things:

    • Survive 30 seconds within the storm.
    • Deal 100 damage to opponents during that time.
    • Find three “dangerous objects” (weapons) inside the storm.

    Getting the weapons can sometimes be tricky; you might need to try more than once. Wait for each weapon to be fully registered before moving on to the next task.

    The hardest part is avoiding being hit by a falling donut while searching for weapons or fighting opponents. It takes just two hits from a falling donut to knock you out, so keep moving and watch where you’re going.

    Using a Blinky Fish or Slurpee is helpful because they boost your movement speed, helping you dodge debris. Surviving the 30 seconds is straightforward if you keep moving instead of standing still. Hiding inside buildings or under stairs won’t work, as donuts break through everything. Be especially careful near gas stations, as those can explode if hit.

    Stay alert, keep moving, and watch for falling donuts to stay safe inside the storm.

    Defeating boss NPCs is part of your Springfield Stories quests, so keep those in mind while searching. You can typically find bosses near these locations:

    – Corruption Corners
    – Kamp Krusty
    – Springfield Nuclear Power Plant

    When approaching a boss area, a head icon will pop up on your mini-map if they are nearby. If you don’t see the icon, they’re probably not in that spot. To find them faster, consider driving around the island in a vehicle. The bosses will notice you and engage immediately, so come prepared with full health and shields, plus enough ammo. Be cautious, as other players will be competing for the mythic weapons too, so stay alert during fights.

    Evil Homer can appear at several locations:

    – South of Springfield Town Square and the Power Plant

    Homer isn’t an expert shot, so defeating him isn’t too hard. Keep your distance to dodge his shotgun blasts and stay mobile. If you retreat far enough, he’ll stop attacking, giving you time to heal. Once defeated, he drops a mythic Enhanced Tactical Shotgun, ideal for close-range combat because of its high damage potential.

    ### How to Find and Beat Witch Marge

    Witch Marge is usually found in these spots:
    – The small wooden structure south of Springfield Town Square
    – Corruption Corners
    – An abandoned house south of Evergreen Terrace
    – A path south of Kamp Krusty, northeast of Springfield Town Square
    – Evergreen Terrace
    – Southwest of Kamp Krusty

    Staying at a distance is key to defeating her since she wields an SMG. Use an assault rifle with plenty of ammo and shields on hand. Once she’s down, she’ll drop a mythic Enhanced Compact SMG, much stronger than the regular version.

    ### How to Find and Defeat Krusty

    Krusty can be located in:
    – Kamp Krusty
    – Springfield Slurpworks
    – The 33 Cents Store east of Springfield Town Square
    – Springfield Town Square
    – Corruption Corners

    His weapon, the mythic Mr. Blasty revolver, is highly dangerous. It fires quickly and can take players or vehicles out with just a couple of shots. Krusty’s revolver applies a balloon effect on the first hit, lifting the target into the air. Follow up with another shot to eliminate the enemy or vehicle, often in just two hits.

    When fighting Krusty, keep moving, use a shotgun and assault rifle, and aim for headshots. Be mindful of enemy players and the weapon’s balloon effect, which can toss opponents into the air, setting them up for a swift kill once hit again. Once he’s defeated, he drops the mythic Mr. Blasty, which is faster-firing than standard revolvers and comes with additional healing items.

    This season of Fortnite features story quests inspired by The Simpsons, as your character investigates how the Fortnite island has transformed. Since last season’s chaotic event, the entire area has become a strange version of Springfield, spread across a small Fortnite map.

    Complete each Springfield Stories quest to uncover secrets and earn extra XP. You also get 30,000 bonus XP after finishing every three quests. Additionally, each repeatable quest grants 1,000 XP, making them an efficient way to level up during this limited season.

    Springfield Stories quests are divided into multiple parts, with Part 01 starting on November 1, 2025, at the beginning of the season. Here are the initial quests in this Fortnite Simpsons season:

    The new locker feature, first introduced during Fortnite Chapter 6 Simpsons season, lets you bring a pet with you as you compete to win a Victory Royale. These Sidekicks don’t give you any gameplay advantage, but they are a fun way to personalize your locker and make your loadout feel more your own. Only you and your squad can see your pet, so it won’t reveal your location during fights. Here’s everything you need to know about Sidekicks in Fortnite, including how to get one and customize it.

    How to Get Sidekicks in Fortnite

    Sidekicks can be unlocked through the Battle Pass or bought from the item shop, usually costing about the same as other skins or outfits. Your first Sidekick, Peels the Dog, is available in The Simpsons Battle Pass starting November 1, 2025. More Sidekicks will be introduced later, ranging from tiny dinosaurs to furry friends and even fish! After purchasing or unlocking a Sidekick, you can select it from your locker by scrolling until you find the pet you want to take with you.

    Before taking your Sidekick into battle, you need to customize it. You can do this right after unlocking or buying it, or later by opening your locker and selecting your pet.

    How to Customize Your Sidekick

    Once you have your Sidekick, it’s time to set its look. Head over to your locker, select your pet, and click on ‘Customize.’ You’ll see several options to modify, like colors, patterns, and ear positions. Many Sidekicks have different features you can change, so have fun experimenting to find what looks best.

    Note: You can only customize a Sidekick once. Once the appearance is locked in, you can’t change the basic look again.

    For example, with Peels the Banana Dog, you can adjust how ripe it looks—ranging from green and under-ripe to fully ripe with brown spots. You can also move its ears from pointing straight up to flopping down. Lastly, you get to pick whether it’s slim or a little chubby.

    There are various extra cosmetics to unlock for each Sidekick by playing and interacting with your pet to earn Sidekick Points. The more you take your sidekick with you, the faster you earn points. Once you unlock these cosmetics and emotes, they are stored in your locker. You can equip each Sidekick with a style (outfit), a reaction (a small pop-up when you pet it), and an emote. The reaction is a tiny heart that appears when you pet your Sidekick.

    What You Can Do with Your Sidekick

    Your Sidekick will react to different situations—sad when you’re hurt, happy when you find loot, or focused during combat. You can also make it dance with you using emotes and pet it whenever you like. It’s worth noting that your pet only appears to you and your squad and cannot be seen or harmed by enemies, so it won’t give away your position. Your Sidekick can’t accompany you to most Creative maps but is allowed in modes like Battle Royale (solo, duo, trios, squads), Ranked Battle Royale, Zero Build, and many others including Party Royale and Save The World.

    As you play with your Sidekick, you earn Sidekick Points that let you unlock a variety of cosmetics, including loading screens, emoticons, outfits, banner icons, and dance emotes. Once you’re satisfied with how your Sidekick looks, lock in its appearance to make it your official Fortnite pet.

    Playing with Your Sidekick

    While in game, your Sidekick will respond to gameplay events. It might look sad if you get hurt, excited when you open chests, or focused during fights. When you perform an emote, it will dance alongside you, and you can pet it anytime. Since your Sidekick isn’t visible to enemies, it’s a safe, fun companion that doesn’t give away your location. Only you and your squad can see it, and you can pet or emote with it together.

    Keep an eye on the item shop for new Sidekicks, each coming with their own Sidekick Points and cosmetics to unlock through gameplay.
