  • Admit It — You Still Love Stranger Things Season 5 Teaser

Admit It — You Still Love Stranger Things Season 5 Teaser

It’s easy to tease Stranger Things for the lengthy wait leading up to its conclusion. By the end of season 5, which airs later this year, the beloved Netflix series will have rolled out 42 episodes over nearly a decade. In comparison, The X-Files cranked out approximately 200 episodes in less than nine years. While the pandemic and industry strikes offer valid explanations for the delays, the extended breaks in Stranger Things have left many fans feeling frustrated, to the extent where some are doubting their interest in the final season.

However, after catching a glimpse of the season 5 teaser trailer, any lingering resentment has transformed into pure anticipation. The preview is thrilling, and I’m eager for the series’ final chapter this fall.

Set in the autumn of 1987, season 5 starts more than a year after the fourth season’s events. The Upside Down has infiltrated Hawkins, but there’s more at stake. The military is now in charge of the town and is on the hunt for Eleven. They seem to be targeting the wrong individual—or entity, rather. Vecna emerges as the primary menace, and the trailer indicates that this treacherous figure will make a comeback, especially as the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches. If the military can’t help confront Vecna, it’s up to the core group to once again save the world.

“Where this blood leads, I need you to fight one last time,” Hopper tells Eleven in the trailer. “Let’s end this, kid.”

The cast that fans have cherished is set to return for this final season. Winona Ryder reprises her role as Joyce Byers, alongside David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, and many others including Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers).

New faces joining the team are Nell Fisher as Holly Wheeler, Jake Connelly as Derek Turnbow, Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers, and Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay.

This concluding season will consist of eight episodes with titles like The Crawl, The Vanishing of…, The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, Shock Jock, Escape from Camazotz, The Bridge, and The Rightside Up.

Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things has become a cornerstone of Netflix’s offerings, renowned as one of its most popular and valuable series.

The release schedule for season 5 is as follows: Volume 1 (episodes 1-4) debuts on November 26, Volume 2 (episodes 5-7) on December 25, and the finale (episode 8) will drop on December 31.

  • John Cena Joins 11th Street Kids In Peacemaker Season 2 Teaser

John Cena Joins 11th Street Kids In Peacemaker Season 2 Teaser

Welcome back, John Cena, to the revitalized DC Universe! After a three-year break, Peacemaker is set to make its highly anticipated return to Max with a new season.

The new trailer showcases the escapades of Christopher “Chris” Smith (Cena), also known as the vigilante superhero Peacemaker. Following his world-saving feats, we see Peacemaker trying to ally with a super team alongside Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn), Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion), and Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced). However, his attempts are met with disdain as they mock him from the other side of an interrogation room.

Despite this, Peacemaker is committed to combating evil and achieving peace by any means necessary. This mission may become more complicated with the introduction of Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo), the new leader of A.R.G.U.S. Considering that Peacemaker killed Rick Flag Jr. in The Suicide Squad, there’s plenty of unresolved tension between them.

In addition to Cena, returning cast members include Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Steve Agee as John Economos, and Robert Patrick as August “Auggie” Smith/White Dragon. New faces joining the cast this season include Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.

James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, penned all eight episodes of the upcoming season and directed three. Other directors include Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones, while Gunn, Cena, and Peter Safran will serve as executive producers.

Initially set in the DC Extended Universe, Peacemaker season 2 is poised to integrate fully into the new DCU. Gunn has previously indicated that this season will address the arrival of the DCEU’s Justice League as hinted at in the season one finale. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment featuring two Peacemakers, with one pointing a gun at the other, raising speculation about a potential clash between the DCEU and DCU versions of Peacemaker.

Season 2 of Peacemaker will feature eight episodes, with the premiere episode set to release on Thursday, August 21, exclusively on Max.

  • Liam Neeson Stars As Frank Drebin Jr. In Naked Gun Teaser

Liam Neeson Stars As Frank Drebin Jr. In Naked Gun Teaser

Paramount has unveiled the teaser for The Naked Gun, a fresh take on the beloved action-comedy classic.

Liam Neeson steps into the role of Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., following in the footsteps of his father, the iconic Frank Drebin, previously portrayed by Leslie Nielsen. Neeson’s character is set on taking over the Police Squad legacy.

The trailer kicks off with a hostage crisis unfolding within a bank. As law enforcement surrounds the building, a young girl licking a lollipop enters. One of the armed robbers asks, “What do you want, kid?” She pulls off her mask to reveal Drebin, who confidently retorts, “Your ass.” Using her lollipop as an unconventional weapon, she goes on to thwart the criminals and save the day.

True to the spirit of the original Naked Gun humor, the footage concludes with Drebin striking a pose in a skirt, humorously revealing her feminine undergarments.

Set to be one of the most eagerly awaited comedies of 2025, The Naked Gun features a star-studded cast including Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston.

Directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer, The Naked Gun is based on a screenplay he co-authored with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. This reboot is produced by Seth MacFarlane of American Dad, alongside Erica Huggins.

Drawing inspiration from Police Squad!, the short-lived 1982 ABC comedy created by David Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker, The Naked Gun franchise was ignited when Nielsen reprised his role in the successful 1988 film The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, which earned over $152 million against a $12 million budget. The franchise also includes two sequels: The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear (1991) and Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994).

Described as “the single most important Naked Gun movie since the other Naked Gun movies,” Neeson’s installment is set to hit theaters on August 1, 2025.
