  • Complete Guide to Sophie’s Side Quest Seeds in Tales Of Graces F

Complete Guide to Sophie’s Side Quest Seeds in Tales Of Graces F

After you return to Lhant early in the adulthood chapter of Tales of Graces f Remastered, check out Cheria’s house for a star icon indicating a new side quest. This quest involves Sophie gathering seeds from around the world and planting them one by one at Cheria’s location. You can start this quest at any point before reaching the future arc, so why not dive in early?

To help you out, we’ve created a handy table listing every seed location. The soonest you can complete this side quest is when you come back from a specific air journey (we won’t spoil it for you, but the last seed is found at Telos Astue).

Finding Seeds for Sophie’s Side Quest in Tales of Graces f Remastered

As you explore in Tales of Graces f Remastered, you’re likely to come across a variety of seeds like Gel Seeds and Nameless Seeds. However, these won’t count toward Sophie’s side quest; they’re meant for other gameplay mechanics.

Below is a list of all the seeds you need for Sophie’s quest, along with where to find them:

    Seed Location
Night Lily Near the inn in Barona, to the left of the entrance on the grass.
Canola In Gralesyde, go to the town square and head east; the sparkly spot is on the flower bed.
Gerbera In Sable Izolle, find the item shop; the Gerbera Seeds are nearby.
Amaryllis East of the inn in Oul Raye.
Lassamble At Oswell’s Manor in Yu Liberte; check the garden outside instead of going inside.
Niferum Inside the inn in Velanik; look behind the stage for the Niferum Seeds and a locked chest.
Daphne In Warrior’s Roost, towards the bottom-left.
Bloody Rose Inside the east guest room of the Velanik inn.
Jack-in-the-Pulpit Found in the Overseer’s Chamber during the story part in the Amarcian Enclave.
Nameless Flower Take the lift to B1 in Telos Astue; the Nameless Flower Seeds are here.
Cat Pine Located at Katz Corner, right near the inn. You’ll need to feed each cat a fish to gain access.

Completing this quest will take some time, so if you have multiple seeds when you return to Lhant, make sure to interact with the star icon to plant as many as you can until you run out. After you’ve planted all your seeds, you’ll see a short scene where Sophie wishes for more seeds. Once you’ve finished, you’ll earn the Flower Girl title for Sophie, which comes with the useful Critical Blade skill and her Level 1 Blast Caliber. Plus, you’ll unlock some delightful scenes featuring Sophie—who doesn’t enjoy those?

  • Acquire Rockagong Fur Safely in Tales of Graces F Remastered

Acquire Rockagong Fur Safely in Tales of Graces F Remastered

Now that the Rockagong issue in Strahta is sorted out, life in Tales Of Graces F Remastered has returned to a state of mild normalcy. While the world still faces a number of ongoing challenges, at least the Rockagong is back to its tranquil self, freely roaming the deserts of Strahta.

However, there’s still work to be done. A researcher from Zahvert is preparing for a presentation about the Rockagong and needs some physical samples to share with his fellow scientists. He’s unable to obtain anything on his own, but perhaps Asbel and his friends can step in to assist.

    How to Acquire Rockagong Fur

This side quest becomes available once you’re in the chapter titled The Infiltration Of Fendel and have reached the Fendel Highlands area, right after navigating the Fendel Mountain Pass.

Once you’re there, talk to the Researcher who will request that you bring him some Rockagong Fur, requiring you to return to Strahta, specifically the Strahta Desert (East) area.

Once back in the desert, head north from the center, where the Desert Cottage and the Turtlez Transport Vendor are located, until you find yourself in a new area—the Strahta Desert Cliffs.

Approach the edge and choose Check to see two options: Summon the Rockagong or Challenge the Rockagong.

Summoning the Rockagong will take you back to Inside The Rockagong, allowing you to explore that area once more and discover a new Golden Smile in the southwestern corner.

Be warned, the Rockagong fight is particularly tough, and at this point in the game, it will likely be too powerful for you to defeat. A single hit can knock out even tougher characters like Sophie and Asbel.

Your best bet is to steal the Rockagong Fur, requiring the help of either Sophie or Asbel.

How to Enable Item Theft from Enemies

First, have Sophie learn her A-Arte, Eagle Dive, either from the Amnesiac or Initiate Of The Fist titles, which she likely has already unlocked. Asbel, on the other hand, needs to have acquired Wolfwind Fang from either Aspiring Knight, Arte Apprentice, or Initiate of the Sword.

Next, you need to achieve one of the Adept titles for Eagle Dive or Wolfwind Fang by using that A-Arte at least 100 times in battles. This can be done manually or by adjusting the AI to use these skills frequently.

You can set their Strategy to encourage the AI to use Eagle Dive and Wolfwind Fang more; set Style to Offensive, Defend to Rarely, and Balance to A Heavy.

Once you’ve unlocked either Adept Title, equip it right away and learn Eagle Dive or Wolfwind from the initial level. This gives the A-Arte the capability to steal items from enemies, including the Rockagong, making this the quickest path to gain this ability.

You can try to steal the Rockagong Fur from the Rockagong now, but you can improve your chances of success by having Sophie learn Elegant Flash, unlock its Adept Title, and learn it at its first level.

This enhances Elegant Flash to steal items as well, giving you three chances to obtain the fur during the battle.

How to Steal the Rockagong Fur

When you’re set, save at the save point in Strahta Desert (East) or the one Inside The Rockagong, then proceed to the Strahta Desert Cliffs. Ensure that Sophie leads your party. Use the flute to challenge the Rockagong, and once the battle begins, wait near the edge with Sophie.

You’ll need to allow the Rockagong’s head to drop lower to ensure your attacks connect properly.

Let the Rockagong eliminate anyone who approaches first, then charge in with Sophie or Asbel. Begin alternating between Eagle Dive and Elegant Flash (or just use Wolfwind Fang with Asbel). Whoever remains can provide support and healing as needed, but it’s vital to conserve your CC so that you can keep using those attacks before the Rockagong strikes again.

Stick with this strategy until you successfully steal the Rockagong Fur, resetting the process if either character is defeated or if you don’t get the fur quickly enough. Once you’ve secured it, make your way to the edge of the arena and escape.

Consider equipping a title you wish to master or that requires a lot of SP to level up before completing the Rockagong Fur task to maximize the SP Bonus you receive.

Return to Zahvert and head to the Zahvert Inn near the entrance of the city, then speak to the person at the desk on the left, under a yellow sign displaying a reversed crescent moon.

Check the Requests and at the bottom of the list, locate the one for Rockagong Fur. Send the item over, and you’ll be rewarded with 5,760 Gald and a substantial SP Bonus of around 2,800 SP.

Afterward, you’ll see a final cutscene featuring the Researcher, and once it concludes, Malik will unlock the Imposing Figure Title.

All Locked Chest Spots and Codes in Tales of Graces F Remastered

In Tales of Graces f Remastered, you’ll find a total of 12 treasure chests, each requiring a specific password to unlock. The spoils from these chests are usually quite valuable, making the effort to find the passwords worthwhile. But don’t worry; we’ve got you covered with this handy guide.

We’ve gathered the passwords you’ll need, along with the locations of each chest and the rewards inside. It seems these treasure codes were left behind by someone who, well, had a lot of time on their hands.

One major change in Tales of Graces f Remastered is that all the passwords have been modified from the original PS3 and Wii versions. Where words were once used, now you’ll need to enter numbers instead, rendering previous guides obsolete.

  • Discover All Limited-Time Events in Tales of Graces F Remastered

Discover All Limited-Time Events in Tales of Graces F Remastered

A staple feature in every *Tales* game is the Hourglass Event, and *Tales Of Graces F Remastered* continues this tradition. These events provide a deeper look into the characters, but unlike other events in the game, they are available for a limited time.

If you miss encountering an Hourglass Event during its designated chapter, you will not get another chance until you start a new playthrough unless you have a save from before. For players wanting to fully engage with the story, it’s crucial to seek out these events.

This article will be updated as new information becomes available.

    What Are Hourglass Events?

Hourglass Events are unique discussions that differ from Skits, occurring less frequently and are limited in time. When utilizing the Navigation command, you can check for any Hourglass Events available in your current location, similar to how the game displays objectives and map exits nearby.

Enabling the Destination Icon setting will allow most Hourglass Events to appear on the map like regular objectives, or they will show up when viewing the Towns section of the World Map.

Usually, they feature a special conversation or event but can also trigger side quests, like the Hourglass Event at Cheria’s house during The Sands of Strahta chapter, which leads to Frederic’s Lost Treasure.

These events have some elements in common with Star Events, and they may occur in the same area, but they are distinct from Hourglass Events. Star Events typically revolve around character memories and are not limited by time.

While most are simply conversations, Hourglass Events are classified as Side Quests and are noted in the Side Quests section of the User’s Manual.

  • Ultimate DLC Guide for Tales of Graces F Remastered

Ultimate DLC Guide for Tales of Graces F Remastered

Tales of Graces f Remastered offers an impressive selection of free downloadable content (DLC). This includes almost everything that was available on the PS3 and Wii, apart from a few items restricted by copyright. Additionally, some items are exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition. You can obtain all DLC from the same spot in the game, but whether that’s advisable is another matter.

This guide will detail each type of DLC so that you can decide if you want to acquire them early. We’ll provide descriptions and share our opinions, including some DLC that is definitely worth waiting on.

Where to Access Tales of Graces F Remastered’s DLCs

Finding the DLC menu might not be immediately obvious. In your inventory menu, navigate to the tab on the far right, identifiable by a Wi-Fi-like signal icon. This tab is dedicated to DLC options.

Here, you’ll find a massive array of choices—around 90 for the standard edition, with even more in the Digital Deluxe Edition. It can definitely feel overwhelming, so take your time and check out the details for each category below.

    Costumes and Attachments

Asbel and Hubert on Tales of Graces f Remastered's menu screen

Like many titles in the Tales series, Tales of Graces f offers numerous unlockable costumes for each character. Many costumes are available through standard gameplay, but you can also obtain others through DLC, with some coming with titles that grant new abilities.

DLC costumes fall into two categories: Quick-Costume Sets, which unlock costumes and corresponding titles earlier than they would typically become available, and character-specific sets that are exclusive to DLC.

In addition to costumes, there are 15 cosmetic attachments. These can be worn alongside costumes instead of replacing them entirely.

Should you unlock all these items right away? We believe it’s a good idea. While the costume titles can offer an early advantage, they’re not game-breaking, so you won’t spoil your experience.

    Grade Shop Content

Asbel levels up in Tales of Graces f Remastered

This feature is a bit unique, as you can toggle these DLCs on when you first launch the game—a change from previous versions of Tales of Graces f which required completing the game first to access the Grade Shop.

Keep in mind that not everything from the Grade Shop is included here—only nine options are available. Once you make your choices, you can disable them but can’t enable missed options.

Should you choose all these options from the start? We would advise against it, except maybe for the Double EXP and Expand Inventory options. Doubling your experience can help minimize grinding, while the inventory expansion is merely a slight convenience.

    Magic Carta

    Chelsea's Magic Carta card

Magic Carta are collectible cards scattered throughout the Tales of Graces f world. They’re enjoyable collectibles featuring quotes from characters across the franchise, but their functionality is limited.

You’ll encounter a character in a mid-game town who will challenge you in card matches. The game involves selecting cards tied to attributes faster than your rival. Familiarity with other Tales games can be advantageous.

Additionally, another character rewards you with items after reaching specific collection milestones, totaling 90 cards available.

The Magic Carta DLC consists of nine sets, with each containing ten cards. You can find them by exploring, though it may require re-entering areas several times for them to appear.

Should you unlock these from the beginning? That entirely depends on whether you enjoy seeking out collectibles. Enjoyment from this can be subjective, so it’s hard to give a definitive answer.

    Skits

Asbel and Sophie in an early skit in Tales of Graces f Remastered

Skit scenes often serve as the emotional heart of the Tales series, offering a wealth of character interactions that range from enlightening to humorous. These interactions delve deeper into character personalities than the main storyline typically allows.

The inclusion of 20 DLC skits is significant, especially since some weren’t available outside Japan until this release.

Should you unlock these at the start? Absolutely not. The skits are intended for your full party, and watching them prematurely can reveal major plot points. Save them for closer to the end of the story.

    Gald

Dualize screen in Tales of Graces f Remastered

You can unlock four DLC options for 300,000 Gald, the in-game currency. Acquiring even one of these can drastically change the game’s economy. Having all four is quite a benefit!

You may find yourself strapped for cash only near the end of the game when a specific NPC offers unique, costly titles for each character.

Should you grab these from the start? Only if you’re fine with having overwhelming purchasing power, which might eliminate some of the game’s challenges for different players.

    Books, Food, and Materials

Eleth Mixer in Tales of Graces f Remastered

Some DLC doesn’t neatly fit into the other categories, so we’ll cover it here. You can unlock powerful tomes for the Eleth Mixer, which will enhance various effects that are useful for progression.

Additionally, you’ll gain access to various meals that can grant HP recovery during battles and outside of them, although you can only consume them periodically when exploring. You’ll be cooking a lot, so the significance is relatively minor.

Lastly, you can obtain cute collectible dolls for a side quest and some crafting items that may not be useful to you for a while.

Should you unlock these early? It doesn’t make much of a difference, so feel free to grab them.

    Digital Deluxe Exclusives

Tiger Festival Tales of Graces f Remastered

There are some DLCs available exclusively for those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition. There’s even one that’s a pre-order bonus.

Most items offer small benefits, like healing item bundles that aren’t essential unless you skip using Gald DLCs. Stat-boost items seem valuable early on, but as you progress, the effects will become less noticeable.

One standout DLC is the Battle BGM Set, allowing you to change the battle theme to tracks from previous Tales games, including newer ones like Tales of Arise.

To change the music, go to the Options menu and navigate down to the appropriate choice. From there, you can select your desired battle theme.

Combat Strategies for Tales of Graces F Remastered

When you ask a group of ten fans of Tales of Graces what they love most about the game, there’s a good chance at least eight will mention its combat system. Even though the game has been around for a while, many players still regard its battle mechanics as among the very best. Some enthusiasts even claim it features some of the finest RPG fighting ever designed.

No matter where you stand on that debate, Tales of Graces f Remastered delivers all of this and even enhances the experience. Before you dive in, here are some useful tips to guide you in the beginning stages of the game.

    Focus on Titles

One key aspect of character development in Tales of Graces f is the various titles that you earn throughout your adventure. Although this might seem restrictive, it’s quite the opposite; each character can accumulate well over 100 titles!

Many titles are obtained by completing specific tasks, such as side quests, defeating a set number of enemies, or executing certain Artes. Other titles are acquired automatically when you hit specific milestones in the main storyline.

Keep an eye on the abilities associated with each title, as some will unlock new Artes. Many new Artes are tied to story progress, so it’s vital to explore them to maximize your attacks and healing options early on.

    Don’t Rush to Master Titles

Early in the game, you’ll be advised to switch titles once you’ve learned all their abilities instead of waiting until you’ve mastered them. We completely agree. While mastering a title does provide added benefits, the process requires a significant amount of Skill Points (SP), which can take a long time to grind for. Focusing solely on mastering a title means sacrificing the opportunity to acquire new abilities and stat enhancements.

That said, once you’ve switched titles, you can always return later in the game to master them if you wish!

    Switch Artes During Combat

It might take some players longer to discover this feature than others, but it can certainly enhance your gameplay. While battling, if you find yourself limited by the number of Artes you’ve assigned to your character, remember: you can actually adjust your set mid-combat.

By accessing the Artes menu during a fight, you’ll see the same list of B-Artes you encounter in the main menu. This is your chance to swap in other Artes you’ve learned if you’re struggling against a tough enemy.

It might feel a bit awkward at first, but this option can really help during challenging moments in a battle.

    Customize Your Controls

We’ve mentioned this in our Beginner Tips, but it’s worth elaborating on. While the default controls in Tales of Graces f may work for some, they might feel restrictive to others. Luckily, there’s a straightforward way to alter them.

The game offers extensive remapping options. You can change any button assignment, allowing you to adjust the controls to fit your play style. For example, I found it more comfortable to swap the block button from square to R1 on my PS5 controller, making it easier to access other buttons for actions like A-Artes and B-Artes.

This simple adjustment improved my blocking capabilities in combat without hindering my attack timing.

    Check Enemy Information Regularly

In Tales of Graces f Remastered, you don’t need to manually inspect enemies to view their information. Instead, pressing the target info button will reveal their weaknesses and often their maximum HP.

This feature differentiates this game from many other RPGs, making it crucial for capitalizing on enemy weaknesses. Since you can switch Artes during battles, it’s a good idea to keep track of these details to enhance your combat strategy.

Additionally, you can review enemy information outside of combat through the Enemy Book. This will give you a brief description, and a quick press of a button will provide you with more specifics about their combat characteristics.

These tips should guide you through the early stages of Tales of Graces f Remastered and help ensure you get the most out of your gameplay experience!

  • All Grade Shop Features in Tales of Graces F Remastered Unveiled

    Exchange EXP for Gold

You will trade away a significant portion of your usual experience points for more Gald. This means your levels will likely stay low unless you are in New Game Plus mode, where your levels might already be acceptable.

    No, definitely not.

    Double Experience

Your battle experience points will be doubled, allowing for faster leveling.

Probably; it can speed up the process without making things too easy, helping you avoid excessive grinding.

    5x Experience

Your experience points will increase five times faster than normal, making leveling up quick. This can be combined with Double Experience for an even faster pace.

Probably not; unless you seriously want to rush through the game, you’ll end up at a much higher level than intended, which could make many battles too easy.

    Half Experience

As the name implies, you’ll receive only half of your normal experience points.

No; this significantly slows your progress, leading to a lot of grinding if you want to maintain the correct difficulty level.

    Double SP

You will gain skill points at double the standard rate, allowing your characters to learn skills more quickly.

Probably; there are countless skills to learn for every character in Tales of Graces f, and this option makes the process much easier.

    Triple SP

Skill points will increase three times faster. This can be combined with Double SP for incredibly rapid growth.

Probably not; this could disrupt the game’s balance significantly, and you might find it frustrating to keep changing titles at such a fast pace!

    Double Item Drops

Enemies will drop crafting materials and other items at twice the normal rate. If you’re collecting ingredients for Dualization, this will speed it up.

Maybe; you will definitely gather a lot of items if you want to engage with the Dualizer frequently. It’s useful, but not overwhelming.

    Dualize Discount

The cost of using the Dualize feature will decrease by 75 percent.

Probably not; the economy in Tales of Graces f is reasonably balanced. You should have enough Gald for Dualizing without issue.

    Upgrade Eleth Mixer

The speed at which your Eleth Mixer produces duplicate items will increase significantly.

Yes; this enhancement doesn’t affect the game’s balance much. Item creation can be a slow process, so this makes it easier.

    Expand Inventory

Your maximum capacity for each item will rise from 20 to 30.

Yes; this minor improvement doesn’t disrupt the game’s overall design. It’s a useful boost, though you might not notice it all the time.

    Maximum Speed

Your character Asbel will run at his highest speed possible across the world.

Yes; since there’s a lot of backtracking in this game, it can often feel tedious. This option helps alleviate some of that frustration.

    Chain Capacity +1

The number of attacks your characters can link together before needing to recharge is increased by one, both in minimum and maximum.

Probably not; while it’s not a huge deal, it provides more of an advantage in early combat than intended. If that doesn’t bother you, then why not!

    Chain Capacity +2

Provides a boost of +2 on both minimum and maximum.

Probably not; see the previous point.

    Double Critical

Your characters will achieve critical hits at double the usual rate. However, enemies will do the same!

No; this creates a risky situation that’s best suited for replaying the game.

    Double Damage

No; while this speeds up battles, Tales of Graces f doesn’t struggle with slow combat, and it could become overwhelming for new players.

    5x Damage

Each attack will deal five times the usual damage.

No; this is going to feel excessive. Avoid combining this with Double Damage for a 10x multiplier!

    Double Gald

The amount of money you earn will be doubled.

Probably not; Tales of Graces f’s economy is quite balanced. It might require a bit of grinding, so if that’s an annoyance, feel free to enable it.

    Unlock Qualities

You will unlock additional potential qualities for your gear, which can enhance their stats even further.

Probably; it’s a fun enhancement that can give you a good power boost, but you will need to put in the effort to see those results.

    Eleth +500

Your Eleth Mixer’s fullness will increase by 500, which means you won’t need to recharge it as frequently.

Probably; you’ll be using this resource up quickly early in the game, and it doesn’t change much for a long while. Not having to visit Turtlez merchants as often is definitely a plus.

    HP +1000

Your characters will gain an extra 1000 hit points.

No; this significantly alters gameplay, especially during the childhood section, which is already quite easy.
