How to Complete All Crafting Machines in Starsand Island

Crafting is a vital part of Starsand Island; without it, progress is slow. Most activities on the island, like fishing, farming, and exploring the Moonlit Forest, rely heavily on crafting. Your journey begins as an apprentice guided by a local mentor, but soon crafting will occupy most of your day. Here’s everything you need to know about crafting in Starsand Island: the machines you can build, their functions, and the resources required for each project.

How to Craft in Starsand Island

Early in the game, you’re introduced to the Crafting Profession and start harvesting materials right away. This gives you a clear idea that crafting will be a main focus throughout your gameplay. Resources are scattered across the island, including rocks, wood, animal byproducts, and rare elements found only in the Moonlit Forest. Some items require purchasing blueprints, which you can find at the General Store, or at specific mentors’ workplaces for profession-specific projects. For example, fishing-related items can be unlocked at the AquaBlue Outpost with Delphin.

As you progress and earn your Crafting Certification with Serene, you can upgrade your crafting machines to produce more valuable and rarer items. When you scroll over an ingredient or press the left thumbstick (or hover your mouse), you can view details such as:

    • Quantity needed
    • Current amount owned
    • The purpose of the item
    • How to obtain it
    • Selling price
    • Resources required for crafting

It’s helpful to build multiple machines like the Furnace, Cutter, and Charcoal Kiln to speed up more complicated tasks.

  • How to Increase Bag Slots in Starsand Island by Completing and Solving

How to Increase Bag Slots in Starsand Island by Completing and Solving

There’s a lot of loot to gather on Starsand Island, but as a solo player, your carrying capacity is limited. What do you do when your bag is full and you can’t carry any more treasures? No worries—we’re here to help!

Instead of leaving valuable items on the ground and risking them despawning, here’s how you can boost your inventory space and make the most of the storage options available in Starsand Island. Keep reading to learn how to upgrade your backpack so you never lose loot again.

    ### How to Upgrade Your Backpack

At the start, your inventory is pretty small. You’ll find only two rows of space, which means you’ll often have to make trips home to unload items before collecting more.

Luckily, you can increase your inventory capacity. To do this, open your bag and tap the “Expand” button at the bottom left. This will bring up a menu showing the materials needed to add more slots to your bag.

    ### All Inventory Upgrades

Here’s a list of all the materials you’ll need for each upgrade, so you can plan ahead:

    | Upgrade Level | Materials Needed | Total Slots After Upgrade |
    |—————-|———————|—————————|
    | Upgrade 1 | Fiber (5), Softwood (5), Stones (5) | 55 slots (starts from 20-30) |
    | Upgrade 2 | Carbon Line (5), Softwood Planks (5), Stone Bricks (5) | 60 slots (35-40) |
    | Upgrade 3 | Copper Ingots (5), Glass Panes (5), Radiant Cores (5) | 65 slots (40-45) |

    | Upgrade 8 | Meteor Plank (4), Eternal Alloy (4), Rainbow Fabric (1), Stardew Fern (5), Perpetual Reactor (1) | 90 slots (65-70) |

    ### How to Make a Realm Box

Once you earn the Intermediate Crafter certification, you can buy the Realm Box Blueprint from the General Store. This special chest links with others of its kind and can be used directly in your inventory.

To craft it at Workbench II, gather these materials:
    – Alloy (5)
    – Spirit Cube I (3)
    – Starflare Core (5)
    – Hardwood Plank (6)

While it doesn’t permanently boost your total inventory size, the Realm Box is a crucial tool during your adventures through the Moonlit Forest. Store food, materials, and ammo in it to reduce trips back home. You can also place and access the Realm Box on your home plots, making materials available without carrying them around. This becomes especially useful late in the game when you have multiple properties across the island.

  • How to Play Arcade Games on Starsand Island: Completing & Solving

How to Play Arcade Games on Starsand Island: Completing & Solving

While you’re busy exploring the Moonlit Forest, caring for your animals, and planting fruits and vegetables, you might be missing out on the fun waiting in the town center of Starsand Island.

At Chronos Arcade, you can find Loren playing arcade games, restocking gacha machines, or trying his luck with the lottery. You’re welcome to join him. Visit the arcade now for a chance to win incredible prizes. Here’s what you need to know about the games and rewards at the arcade.

All Games and Prizes at Chronos Arcade

There are two arcade games to play, along with gacha machines filled with balls containing random prizes, and lottery machines where you can buy scratchcards.

To play, you need to exchange gold coins for tokens. Talk to Loren or interact with the cash register to get one token for every 10 coins. You can also sell spare items or resources here, just like in other shops.

Note: You can buy up to 80 tokens a day, and you’re given 20 free tokens daily.

The arcade is open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. During those hours, you can enjoy any of the games. The lottery machines are outside and in the lower section of the arcade, while the gacha machines are near the cash register.

There are two types of lottery tickets: single-panel scratchcards and multi-panel scratchcards, both offering Chronos tokens as prizes. Single-panel cards cost 5 tokens with lower chances of winning, while multi-panel cards cost 10 tokens and have higher winning odds.

The gacha balls might contain resources or blueprints for various objects for your home or wardrobe. Each gacha pull costs 20 tokens, and the contents are completely random, so your color choice doesn’t affect the outcome.

The two arcade games are Starblock (similar to Tetris) and Foodybara (similar to Snake). In Starblock, you move, rotate, and fit shapes to clear lines. If the shapes reach the top of the screen, you lose. Foodybara involves controlling a cute capybara that runs around eating everything in sight while avoiding walls and its own body. The longer it gets, the more challenging it becomes to keep moving without hitting something.

    Prizes for Playing Arcade Games

Prizes can be claimed in two ways: cumulative or personal best. In cumulative mode, your total points from multiple games add up. In personal best mode, you need to beat your highest score each time. You earn tokens each time you play, but the best rewards come from reaching higher cumulative points or beating your own scores.

    Foodybara Rewards

    Type Reward Score Needed
    Cumulative Capy-Alarm Clock Blueprint 200
Cumulative Foodybara Home Theme (Pool) 1,000
Cumulative 40 Starsand and Block Nightlight Blueprint 3,000

Note: The most coveted rewards are clothing and cosmetic items. Keep playing and earning points to unlock all these items.

Again, these rewards showcase clothing and cosmetics, which unlock as you keep improving your scores.

All content is based on standard gameplay features and prizes in the Starsand Island arcade area.

  • Finding the Left & Right Ruins Keys in Starsand Island for Completing and Solving

Finding the Left & Right Ruins Keys in Starsand Island for Completing and Solving

There’s always something to do on Starsand Island, whether you’re just farming or seeking new adventures. With a little help, you can level up your skills and gather a variety of resources found everywhere around your new home. However, some of these materials are off-limits early in the game.

As you move forward, you’ll need keys to open the large doors inside the Moonlit Forest. We’ll help you find these keys so you can explore deeper into the ruins and fully discover the forest.

    ## How to Get the Right Ruins Key

When you’re ready for your next adventure, head northwest of your farm to find Zephyria. Talk to him about taking the Intermediate Certification Trial. Afterward, he’ll give you a key to the ruins.

Despite a small translation mistake, you’ll add the Ruins Key (Right) to your inventory. This is one of two keys needed to open the big gate near Mural Valley.

    ## How to Get the Left Ruins Key

Getting the second key is tougher. If you explore the forest more than talking to NPCs, you might find this key first. Go to the elevator in front of Azure Bay and ride it down to the lower level.

Open the round wooden chest here to find some materials and, importantly, the Ruins Key (Left). With both keys, head to the large door to the east and open it. Like in the Crystalinth Hideout, you’ll face a new, bigger boss — in this case, more challenging than before.

    ## How to Beat the Glintortle Boss

This boss will be your first real test. The Glintortle is heavily armored and very tough, so regular shots won’t damage it much. Instead, upgrade your slingshot to a bow and use arrows.

Your best bet is Bomb Arrows, but they can be expensive to craft. Bring along a mix of Bomb and normal arrows to reduce the Glintortle’s health. It also has AoE (area of effect) attacks that can hurt you, so keep plenty of health-restoring food in your hotbar for quick use.

The Glintortle’s weakness is a glowing crystal on its back, but it’s not always visible. Wait for it to spin or become dizzy — then strike when the crystal is exposed. Otherwise, keep your distance and watch for water-based attacks it will summon to hit you.

If you’re having trouble, you can deploy sentry bots to distract the Glintortle and give you a chance to attack safely.

Once you defeat the Glintortle, gather your rewards from the log chest nearby and proceed to the next rest area. The path forward is blocked by brambles that only Fire Arrows can destroy. For now, return to the previous camp and head back home.

  • Tips and Tricks to Know Before Playing Starsand Island: Completing and Solving

Tips and Tricks to Know Before Playing Starsand Island: Completing and Solving

On Starsand Island, you start as a young farmer returning to your home island after years away working in the corporate world. Coming back feels refreshing, and it opens up a whole new world of adventures. You can make new friends and explore hidden spots around the island—there’s always something new to discover.

Here’s a quick guide on how to enjoy each day on the island and some helpful tips you might have missed to get ahead. Everything you need to know to begin your journey on Starsand Island is right here.

    ### Check Charity Bins
Outside many shops and local hangouts, you’ll find charity bins—bright yellow containers that often hold useful items like fish, crops, dishes, or other resources. Recycling resources this way is great for building things within the community and gathering supplies you might not have access to yet.

Besides the charity bins, you can shake vending machines or search through trash cans for anything useful. While not always pretty, checking these spots from time to time might reward you with items that help you progress.

    ### Prepare Meals Each Morning and Night
You’ll need lots of energy for all the work, whether tending your farm or exploring the forests for ore. Cooking is a valuable skill, and you can prepare meals passively by cooking before bed and right after waking up to keep your stamina topped up.

Be careful—some meals restore health instead of stamina! You can buy recipes in town, but many dishes are easy to make at home using simple ingredients like mushrooms. Foraging around your farm daily will help you keep a steady supply so you don’t run out of energy.

    ### Visit Shops Daily
In town, shopkeepers often have special deals. Loren might give you 20 free arcade tokens every day, Pastelle might offer two random feed bags, and the general store periodically has sales. Make it a habit to visit regularly so you can stock up on animal feed, ingredients, and other supplies. This will help you settle into island life more smoothly.

    ### Talk To Everyone
Aside from local residents, you’ll meet many tourists on the island. Some may ask where to swim, while others might need you to take their photo. Completing these small, untracked requests is quick and rewards you with useful items.

Engaging with tourists can also lead to potential business opportunities. They often have money to spend, and spending a moment talking to them could be profitable for you.

    ### Feed The Wildlife
Different animals, from pandas to capybaras, roam the island. You can interact with each one, increasing their affection for you. Feed them snacks, pet their fur, or play mini-games to build bonds. As your relationships grow, you might even be able to adopt some as pets! Check your map frequently to find your favorite animals and become friends.

    ### Craft and Upgrade Tools
From the start of the game, you can craft new tools at your workbench. It’s important to do this early so you can gather resources efficiently. Upgrading your tools allows you to improve your workbench and other devices, speeding up resource collection and completing quests faster. Wasting days gathering materials you already have can slow down your progress, so stay on top of upgrades.

    ### Invest in Ranching
Beyond farming, ranching offers a variety of animals, like chickens, pigs, and even ostriches. Each animal produces unique products you can use for crafting or cooking. Some livestock can be ridden as mounts, making travel faster.

Improve your collection of animals over time; you’ll unlock rare breeds—like different-colored sheep or special livestock—that also help with pest control and weed management. The more you care for these animals, the smarter your farm becomes.

    ### Clear Out Your Farm
Your farm has plenty of space, and although you can’t use it all right away, it’s wise to start clearing trees, rocks, and other obstacles to gather additional resources. These materials will come in handy later in the game.

Once you expand your farm, you’ll be able to plan your layout more carefully. Well-organized farms boost efficiency, especially if you dedicate areas to workshops or storage. Even if home design isn’t your thing, you can use pre-made plans to improve your setup.

    ### Give Gifts Daily
Residents love receiving gifts. Even simple things like fresh crops or flowers can strengthen your relationships with neighbors. Giving gifts doesn’t take long and can significantly boost your friendships. Whether you’re aiming to romance someone or just be friendly, handing out small presents is a quick way to improve your standing.

Some residents especially love Moonflowers—collect plenty to give daily for extra affection. For gift ideas, check guides, but generally, flowers and fresh produce are safe bets with everyone.

Engaging daily in these activities will help you make the most of your time on Starsand Island, building your farm, friendships, and resources step by step.

  • How to Completing the Moonlit Forest Luna Deer Mount and Solving in Starsand Island

How to Completing the Moonlit Forest Luna Deer Mount and Solving in Starsand Island

The Moonlit Forest is full of rare minerals and hidden treasure chests to find as you explore Starsand Island. You can’t skip this area because it provides many resources necessary for your progress. However, be careful of dangerous creatures that guard some parts!

If you’re searching for specific ores or plants, or struggling to defeat the Ruin Guard, the guide below will help. It covers everything you need to know while wandering through the Moonlit Forest and eventually unlocking the rare Luna Deer mount.

How to Unlock the Moonlit Forest

The entrance to the Moonlit Forest is behind your first home on Starsand Island, but it’s initially blocked by a large, broken stone door with weak spots. To access it, you need to complete the Explorer Profession, which starts after talking to Zephyria. He will give you a blueprint and some ammo for a slingshot, which you can craft using 2 Softwood and 2 Fiber.

Once you’ve crafted your slingshot, you can use it to break through the weak spots on the blocked door with ammo. After destroying these weak points, you can enter the forest. Before going in, you can gather Midnight Herb and Copper Ore from the area outside the entrance, along with the portal to the first section.

    Evernight Forest

The first part of the Moonlit Forest is called Evernight Forest. Here, your first camp is set up. Rocks block one way, and large glowing mushrooms are on the right. Head toward these mushrooms, gathering resources along the way:

    • Fluorite
    • Tin
    • Copper
    • Quartz
    • Midnight Herb
    • Moondew Shroom
    • Mirthshroom
    • Twilight Succulent
    • Celeb Moth
    • Green Firefly

Evernight Forest has various minerals, plants, and orange Gravecrystals. Break these crystals to release Gravestars, small spirits that will help unlock the gate further ahead.

As you follow the Gravestar, repair the broken bridge using 15 Stone to proceed to the next area.

    Gate of Life

At this gate, fix the Moonweaver with 5 Fluorite to activate the camp. The Gravestar will float toward the gate on the right, but you need to find two more Gravecrystals to fully unlock it. One is just outside the camp, to the right, and the other is on the grassy rocks past the large tree on the left. Break these crystals to let the spirits out.

Beyond the gate, you’ll find more resources like Fluorite, Tin, Copper, Quartz, Midnight Herb, Moondew Shroom, Mirthshroom, Twilight Succulent, Red Firefly, Moonflower, and Celeb Moth. In the open space, a Runebird will attack—defeat it with your slingshot. You can also break the blockage here with your pickaxe to return to Evernight Forest.

Use your Gravecrystal to release the spirit, then go back to the Gate of Life to continue. Another obstacle will block your path, which requires an Impulse Pickaxe. Craft it at the workbench with 10 Copper, 10 Fluorite, 5 Softwood, 5 Quartz, and 1 Pickaxe. If you haven’t unlocked the blueprint yet, buy it at the Starsand Town General Store.

    Dreamfall Garden

Use a Bug Net to catch Luminwing Butterflies and activate the Dreamfall Garden camp with 5 Fluorite. This area offers new and familiar resources, including Copper, Fluorite, Quartz, Coal, Tin, Iron, Salt, Sunveil Shroom, Mirthshroom, Moondew Shroom, Moonflower, Twilight Succulent, and several Fireflies.

Near the camp, explore the area by jumping across bubbles to access the chest behind a waterfall and a nearby treasure map. Head toward the large glowing mushroom along the path, where a fairy ring of Sleep Lilies awaits. Harvest all the Lilies to trigger a surprise. At the top, defeat a Luminfrog with your slingshot.

Use your slingshot to destroy weak spots in the broken gate and proceed inside. Fight a Luminfrog there with a few shots; it will attack you by leaping, shooting lasers, and casting energy pulses. Use movement and aim carefully to avoid its attacks. Bring plenty of arrows, as it takes time to defeat with just pellets or stones.

    Crystalith Boss Fight

Climb up further to find ore and plants, and a large door requiring two keys. The keys are hidden: one is in a chest by the waterfall, and the other is obtained from Zephyria after completing the Intermediate Explorer Certificate. Once you have both, unlock the door to face Crystalith, a large golem-like creature with an orange glowing abdomen.

During the fight, watch for Crystalith trying to draw power from a crystal center—an opening to hit its weak spot for extra damage. The boss has two main attacks: throwing a boulder and smashing the ground to send tidal waves. Keep moving, avoid its attacks, and strike the glowing weak spot on its shell when vulnerable. After defeating Crystalith, loot the chest and proceed through the open gate.

    Crystalith Hideout

This area contains another camp and resources like Fluorite, Gold, Tin, Copper, Quartz, Iron, and various plants, including Midnight Herb and Moondew Shroom. A large door here only opens with two keys—one you found earlier, the other from Zephyria.

You will also encounter Glintortle, an adorable but dangerous giant turtle. It attacks with water waves, bubble shots, lasers, energy pulses, and area attacks that chase you. Avoid its attacks by observing patterns and staying distant. When it gets dazed after a heavy attack, target its top shell weak spot to deal double damage.

Once defeated, a chest drops, and the area opens up. You need Water and Fire Arrows for the next section, so prepare accordingly by completing the Exploration Certificate quests.

    Harvest Yard

This last part of the forest holds high-rarity ores like Oilstone, Flamecore, Diamond, and Primorite. Access here requires Water and Fire Arrows. Use a Fire Arrow to clear a blocked door, and activate a camp to avoid having to fight Glintortle repeatedly. Gather resources such as Oilstone, Flamecore, Diamond, and Primorite, and explore the area.

    Mural Valley

Use an elevator to return to the top, where you find the Mural Valley camp. Nearby, break a Gravecrystal stuck in the cliffside to free a spirit. Three Gravecrystals are located in high spots around this area—destroy them to help the Gravestars to reveal a hidden chest beneath the first large mushroom. Open it to find loot.

    Azure Bay

Travel to Azure Bay, which offers more ores like Primorite, Fluorite, Iron, Tin, and plants such as Twilight Succulents, Sleep Lilies, Hydrangea, and Fireflies. There’s a large door requiring two keys—one is in a chest by a waterfall, the other from Zephyria after completing specific quests. Unlock it with both keys to access the final boss.

    Final Boss: Ruin Guard

The Ruin Guard is the toughest enemy, with four different attack moves: ore throws, spinning charges, laser beams, energy pulses, and area floral attacks. It’s assault is predictable: watch for signs before each attack. Keep your distance, aim carefully, and hit its weak spot on the top of its shell when it’s momentarily dazed for extra damage. Use plenty of arrows, as relying solely on simple projectiles will take a long time. When you defeat it, it will drop a chest and open the way forward.

  • Top Skills to Upgrading and Solving Early in Starsand Island

Top Skills to Upgrading and Solving Early in Starsand Island

While enjoying your peaceful life on Starsand Island, you’ll find a variety of hobbies and activities to keep you busy. The classic relaxing game activities are all available—fishing, crafting, and caring for pets. There are several things to do that will help you learn new skills and expand your experience on Stardust Island. Each activity offers a different way to enjoy the game and add to your lifestyle there.

When choosing which skills to learn and which parts of the skill tree to focus on first, it’s helpful to know which options are best for beginners. Here are some of the top skills to pick early on when starting out on Starsand Island.

    The Best Skills for Beginners

Initially, you can choose to focus on fishing, crafting, farming, ranching, or exploration. Although you can pursue whichever skill interests you, some are more important to prioritize at the beginning.

Since your starting resources for upgrades are limited and you’ll want to make gold from your activities, it’s best to concentrate on a few key hobbies and skills early on. Building your abilities in these areas will help you progress faster and improve your overall experience.

Note: There are other skills you can learn as well, such as cooking.

    Crafting

Crafting should be your top priority at the start. This skill is essential because it’s required to unlock other skills, making it an early game must-have. Many of your initial missions will involve crafting items, so focusing on crafting makes these tasks easier.

Additionally, your inventory will fill up quickly with resources collected along the way. Crafting items from these resources helps clear space in your bag and lets you sell finished goods for more profit than selling raw materials alone. When developing your crafting skills, focus on these key upgrades:

    • Recuperate: You collect materials each day, but your stamina runs out quickly. Resting to recover stamina without restarting the day by sleeping allows you to stay active and get back to work faster.
    • Supply Boost: Restocking raw materials makes it easier to gather what you need when you’re in a hurry.
    • Golden Crafter: Refreshing the general store can give you access to the items you need without restarting the day. More options are always useful.

    Farming

Farming is another good skill to develop, as it offers a clear return on your investment. Crops grow in specific seasons, so starting early gives you more time to harvest and prepare your next crop cycles. To maximize your farming efforts, consider these upgrades:

    • Seed Spreader: Makes planting seeds faster and easier, improving your efficiency.
    • Harvest Season: Doubling your harvest allows you to gather more crops in the same amount of time.
    • Golden Farmer: Helps you buy what you need from the shop more easily, saving time and effort.
    • Eternal Blessing: Investing in seed drops that last forever can be very valuable.
    • Chain Harvest: Simplifies the harvesting process, making it less time-consuming.

    Exploration

Exploring is essential, especially for gathering resources and unlocking new areas. Early on, taking advantage of exploration skills can give you some small advantages:

    • Ammo Recycle: Running out of ammo can be frustrating, so recovering it for free helps you stay prepared and saves time.
    • Victory Siphon: Doubling the rewards from treasure chests reduces the need for extra work and fights.
    • Bounty Hunter or Beast Tracker: Your choice depends on your comfort with combat. Beast Tracker ensures you won’t faint if you’re not good at fighting, while Bounty Hunter earns more coins, making in-game purchases easier.
    • Shattering Blow: Allows you to defeat enemies faster, saving daylight so you can accomplish more each day.

Other hobbies are available, and you should pick what you enjoy most. Focus on the skills that help you progress efficiently but don’t hesitate to pursue other activities for fun.

  • Where To Find Every Bug in Starsand Island While Completing the Game

Where To Find Every Bug in Starsand Island While Completing the Game

There’s a lot to explore on Starsand Island, and initially, not everything is straightforward. With some guidance, you can unlock new activities that will make you feel more at home on the island. Whether you enjoy discovering new places or tending to your farm, there’s something for everyone!

One of the most fun activities is bug catching. Since Starsand Island is still in early access, there’s no mentor to show you how to do it yet. But don’t worry—here’s a quick guide so you can start collecting bugs and keeping a record of them all.

    How to Unlock Bug Catching

Once you finish the tutorial in Starsand Island, you’ll receive a blueprint to craft a bug net. Make the net so you can add it to your quick access bar. Afterward, you can use it to catch bugs by swinging the net.

Bugs tend to fly away when you get close, so it’s best to watch how they move before trying to catch them. Remember, there’s a slight delay when swinging the net, so wait for the right moment to strike to avoid missing.

If you find it tricky to catch bugs, you can turn on the walking mode. This makes your approach slower, which helps keep bugs from fleeing or disappearing before you get a chance to catch them.

  • Completing All Crops on Starsand Island

Completing All Crops on Starsand Island

Starsand Island offers a chance to revisit your childhood and start anew with friends you haven’t seen in years. Life here moves slowly and peacefully, giving you time to enjoy festivals and hobbies you normally wouldn’t have time for.

Farming is a rewarding skill to learn while settling on the island. We’ll guide you through the basics of farming, including where to find seeds and how to plan for upcoming seasons.

    How to Unlock Farming
To start farming, you need to unlock the skill. This is done by talking to Graminova, who is a mentor for farmers. You can find him working on his fields in town, near the clothing shop.

During the tutorial, you’ll receive blueprints for essential tools like a hoe and a watering can. Take a moment to craft these tools, which will help you till soil and water your crops.

Weeding can be a problem, but you can speak with Pastelle about raising rabbits to naturally control weeds.

    Where to Get Seeds
Graminova will open the Happiness Seed Shop as you work with him, allowing you to buy seeds any time of year. The good news is that seed packets are available regardless of the season, so you can buy and store them ahead of planting time.

However, crops only grow during specific seasons, and some crops need special structures like Paddy Fields or Trellises to grow correctly. As you complete tasks and trials with Graminova, you’ll unlock more types of seeds.

  • Which Profession to Choose First in Starsand Island: Completing or Solving?

Which Profession to Choose First in Starsand Island: Completing or Solving?

After arriving on Starsand Island, you meet Solara in your new garden. Once you’ve done some basic clearing and learned crafting essentials, you’re free to explore the island. There are five main jobs you can take on: Crafter, Farmer, Angler, Rancher, and Explorer. The most important one initially is the Crafter, because without crafting and upgrading your skills, it’ll be hard to progress on the island.

Each profession has its own mentor. You meet them during quests and when earning certification in that job. When you complete a certification, you revisit Solara for a reward. Your mentors are Zerine (Crafter), Graminova (Farmer), Francis (Angler), Pastelle (Rancher), and Zephyria (Explorer). You can find them on the map by pressing M or the menu button, selecting Mentors, then clicking on their icons and choosing Track to get there.

The first major step after finishing your first Crafting Certificate is to try the Explorer job. You can do this by visiting Zephyria at the Explorer Club in the west. She’ll give you a Slingshot blueprint, an essential tool for navigating the mysterious Moonlit Forest, filled with magical resources.

Farming and Angler are good to try next. These jobs are straightforward and help you earn money by growing crops or catching fish, which you can sell at the General Store. Many NPC vendors will buy your items, so you can usually sell what you buy or gather.

Ranching is less critical at first but worth exploring once you’ve built most of your crafting stations. It’s a great way to start farming animals like rabbits, who can even eat weeds on your farm, making Ranching particularly useful if you’re focusing on farming.

To improve your skills in each profession, you use the Workpedia app on your phone, where Starsand Points are earned by completing tasks, fulfilling requests, and leveling up. Tasks are listed in your StarNote app, which grants EXP and helps you level up. Every time you increase your level, there’s a chance to earn more Starsand Points, which you can spend in the Workpedia to make your work easier or faster.

You can earn between 50 and 1,500 Starsand Points each day by completing quests on the Starsand Resident quest board outside the Community Center. The requests have different star ratings, with better rewards for higher ratings. Be aware that most requests have deadlines, so complete them on time to avoid losing your reward.

Check your Workpedia daily to upgrade your skills in crafting, farming, and exploration. Improving these skills makes your actions more efficient and helps you progress faster through additional certifications and skill levels.
