Complete All Escape Room Challenges in High On Life 2

While the main storyline of High On Life 2 centers around hunting down bounties from the Rhea Pharmaceutical gang, there are several side activities you can discover if you take the time to explore different parts of the map. If you stick only to the main missions, you might miss out on some of these extra features.

One such optional activity is the escape room found in Pinkline Harbor. When you start it, you’ll need to complete three separate escape puzzles and find a key in each one before you can leave the area and continue exploring.

Where to Find the Escape Room

You can locate the escape room by heading to Pinkline Harbor, an area unlocked after accepting Larry Pinkstock’s bounty. Once there, go directly south to a small spot with some counters and an upstairs area.

In this area, use the elevator to reach the upper floor. Before starting the escape puzzles, you’ll need to unlock characters Travis and Jan, which happens during the “Dinner with Mom” mission. After going upstairs, speak with the counter person to start the escape room challenge. Also, you can claim a Luglox on the couch to your left when you enter.

    Pharoah’s Tomb Escape Room Walkthrough

The first escape room is called Pharaoh’s Tomb. It’s pretty straightforward. Upon entering, you’ll see a mummy sleeping on some boxes and an alarm clock nearby. Interact a few times with the clock, then approach the mummy. It will wake up holding a key, which you can use to unlock the exit door. Afterward, go back to the counter to rate your escape. When you try to leave the area, you’ll be blocked, and the next room will open.

    Alien Wasteland Escape Room Walkthrough

The second room is set in the Alien Wasteland, which involves a few extra steps:

    1. Grab the bright red meat from the trash can on the right side of the entrance.
    2. Approach the grill in the middle and interact with it to open it, then put the meat inside to cook.
    3. Take the cooked food to the dog house on the right and place it in front of the mummy there to earn the Ankh needed to escape.

    Scary House Escape Room Walkthrough

The third challenge is set in the Scary House. This room features a chainsaw, a fuel tank, and the mummy:

    1. Pick up the chainsaw from the cabinet on the middle wall.
    2. Refuel the fuel tank on the right side using the chainsaw.
    3. Use the chainsaw on the mummy to move it to the bed, which spawns an Ankh beneath the bed.

Once completed, you can collect a Luglox and exit the area.

Completing All Revelation Solutions in The Rise of the Golden Idol

“Revelation” is one of the most intriguing puzzles in “The Lumurian Phoenix,” the second DLC for The Rise of the Golden Idol. Here, you won’t find typical crimes or betrayal but rather a complex riddle that transforms you into a sort of codebreaker.

Your mission is to interpret the pictograms created by the dedicants and uncover the meanings hidden within the gospel, commandments inscribed on a monument, and the messages from a certain individual regarding what the waterfall has declared.

    How to Decode the Language

To begin deciphering this language, you’ll need to grasp four key rules:

    • Nouns: The first and last symbols in a sentence represent a noun, whether it’s common or proper.
    • Verbs: These symbols appear between nouns and indicate a specific type of action. A dot above a verb changes it to its opposite. For instance, the ‘burn’ symbol with a dot means ‘extinguish.’
    • Positivity or Negativity: A line above the verb symbol indicates negativity, meaning the action is not happening.
    • Tense and Strength: Each sentence features a line with an arrow beneath it. Different arrow shapes signify different tenses; understanding this alongside the previous point is essential.

Once you have these basic concepts down, you can start identifying noun and verb symbols to solve the puzzles.

    • The waterfall scene contains the information needed to understand the Symbols page. Consider the family tree depicted on the door—who might it refer to, and what does the symbol on the damaged building signify?
    • The children’s book found in the cave is crucial for grasping various rules, including the symbols for Waterfall, Kill, and Reward.
    • The man reading near the monument offers valuable clues regarding the monument’s inscriptions.
    • Deciphering the gospel is a bit more challenging but still feasible. The element of fire plays a significant role here. What can you deduce from the symbols present?
    • The waterfall panel poses the toughest challenge and serves as a final exam of your skills. The new symbols resemble family trees—these should help you make sense of the available words.

    How To Start Mission Captis

If you’re diving into the Heresy episode of Destiny 2, be ready for some entertaining short story missions. These missions provide quick gameplay and deliver memorable story elements. This includes Mission Captis, which features a unique puzzle that may stump some players. Prepare to take out lots of Acolyte Eyes; many will be needed to complete the mission.

Here’s a brief guide on finishing Mission Captis, detailing the challenges you’ll face, including the rune puzzles that pop up during the adventure. We will also explain how to start this mission and what it unlocks upon completion.

    Starting Mission Captis

Mission Captis is the concluding story mission in Act 2 of Heresy. Once you log into Destiny 2 during this season and own the Heresy content, you will activate the quest chain without delay. Progress through the quest until this mission opens up, then head to the Last City map to begin. It’s a manageably short mission that can be played solo, although expect to encounter a tricky puzzle midway through.

    Complete The Binding

Head to Eris Morn’s location on the Dreadnaught. She will instruct you to stand on a nearby Hive plate, which will kick off the binding ritual. Shortly thereafter, the Subjugator will appear, immune to all damage. Your main objective isn’t to defeat the Subjugator. Instead, focus on clearing out the adds until a wall of Acolyte Eyes appears.

How To Solve The Symbol Puzzle

A wall of eyes will emerge in the center of the arena, and they will regenerate if you don’t shoot the right ones. Pay attention to the floating Hive Rune near the Subjugator. Your task is to get the wall of Acolyte Eyes to match that symbol. This mechanic is similar to the one you encountered in the Witness fight in Salvation’s Edge.

For instance, the first Hive Rune resembles a lower-case "n" shape with two ellipses on top. There will be five eyes in total at the top. Since you need three for the ellipses, shoot two of them to create the desired shape. This will recreate the symbol perfectly and summon the next puzzle wall.

The second symbol looks like a "V," affectionately nicknamed "pizza" by players. Adjust the eyes as needed to recreate the visual that’s shown above; the goal is to create a pointed bottom.

Lastly, you’ll need to form the circular Hive Rune. Eliminate the three eyes in the middle to complete the symbol.

Once you’ve completed all three rune formations, defeat the remaining adds to end the mission. You will find Sloane waiting for you at Eris’ location in The Last City for a debrief on the successful operation. This marks the end of the story for Act 2, and you can continue the adventure once Act 3 opens up right after this mission.

  • Chapter 5: Complete Guide to Idol Rules in The Golden Idol

Chapter 5: Complete Guide to Idol Rules in The Golden Idol

The conclusion of The Rise of the Golden Idol is marked by Chapter 5, but completing the Steelside Warehouse scenario leaves you with the sense that there may be more to explore. Although a climactic ending awaits, you first face another puzzle that requires you to piece together the chapter’s main themes.

In this part of the game, the focus is on the potential applications of the I.D.O.L. machine, a remarkable creation by OPIG’s scientists. This Golden Idol is intended to grant their ambitions, yet Hunter Wolf seems to have his own mysterious agenda regarding its use. What insights have you gathered about this machine up to this point?

    All I.D.O.L. Rules Solutions

In this chapter, you only need to fill in a single panel that revolves around the functions of the I.D.O.L. Keep these tips in mind:

    • Some of the solutions should be quite straightforward, but you might want to revisit details from earlier scenarios.
    • The various symbols at the top can be traced back to several scenarios, including the one involving Ancient Artifacts.
    • Information regarding the disks can often be pieced together from challenges faced in earlier chapters and clues found in Ancient Artifacts.
    • The symbols on the machine are essentially controls, and you should feel confident arranging these into the correct positions. There’s only one control you haven’t encountered, but logically, only one term would suit it.
    • The diagram on the left will likely remind you of a pictogram puzzle from Ancient Artifacts, as the narrative is very similar.
    • Don’t overthink the colors of the brains in this puzzle; they don’t match the colors of the crystal. However, the crystal’s color is crucial.
    • For improved clarity on the picture puzzle and the accompanying descriptive text, refer to the I.D.O.L. Guide information on the left side of your display.

    The Lens Symbols

Here’s a table that outlines the symbols in order:

    Duration
    ≈ 1 month
    ≈ 3 days
    ≈ 1 day
    ≈ 1 minute
    all

    I.D.O.L. Controls

Going clockwise from the top of the diagram, the controls include:

    • Matter
    • Memory
    • Heat
    • Take
    • Give

    The Disks

The red indicators display how much memory is available on a disk. Disks are not subject to depletion.

    Comic Interaction Steps

Here’s what you need to do within the comic:

    1. Add a blue diamond to the I.D.O.L.’s crystal.
    2. Attach a red diamond to the I.D.O.L.’s crystal and connect an empty brain to the individual’s head.
    3. Place a red diamond into the I.D.O.L.’s crystal while positioning the blue and yellow brains on people’s heads.
    4. Use a blue diamond for the I.D.O.L.’s crystal and place two pink brains on individuals’ heads.

    The Crystal

When the crystal glows red, the I.D.O.L. is full, and the take command becomes ineffective. If it’s blue, the I.D.O.L. is empty. To deplete the I.D.O.L., apply the give command either on an empty disk or a conscious person.

Completing this panel leads you to unlock the game’s concluding scenario!
