Mastering Sniper Elite: Unlock All Campaign & Survival Ribbons

    Quick Links

The top stealth games, from Hitman to Sniper Elite, allow for numerous interactions within their environments. This variety makes each level stand out, presenting you with different problem-solving methods, and generally making you feel more in control than in many other games.

Sniper Elite: Resistance follows this trend, featuring several ribbons that reward you for creatively overcoming challenges. These tactics ribbons acknowledge unconventional gameplay strategies alongside other smart maneuvers.

How To Get Every Tactics Ribbon In Campaign/Survival

You can earn 11 Tactics ribbons in the Campaign and Survival modes.

    Ribbon Requirement
Resourceful Reaper Kill three Nazis using environmental effects.
Trapper’s Delight Kill three Nazis with booby traps.
Jinx Eliminate two Nazis not in vehicles by hitting a trap or an explosive.
The More The Merrier Take out two Nazis at once who aren’t in vehicles with a single trap or explosive.
    Tank Terminator Destroy a tank.
Armored Annihilator Destroy an armored car.
Tracker Tag 20 Nazis using your binoculars.
    Lifesaver Revive a teammate.
Tagger Achieve five tag assists in Co-op.
Bagger Get three kill assists in Co-op.
Mechanic Destroy three vehicles using traps.

    Resourceful Reaper

Using environmental effects to eliminate Nazis is not only effective but also incredibly satisfying. These effects include explosive barrels, suspended crane pallets, and vehicles that are scattered throughout missions, making them easy to identify, especially the bright red barrels.

If you find yourself alone near a trap, consider luring enemies close with a whistle or a bottle.

However, there’s a trade-off for using these methods: while explosives create a loud commotion that can alert nearby enemies, if you can use a quieter method to trigger them, the Nazis will be none the wiser about your location.

    Trapper’s Delight

Setting booby traps can be straightforward if you closely observe enemy patrol routes and are willing to use various items. You can utilize grenades or Teller Mines for this purpose, but you’ll need a corpse to set the trap.

When you interact with a body, you have the option to booby trap it. If a nearby Nazi approaches, the trap will activate.

To maximize this tactic, it’s advised to set traps in tight spaces, like hallways or stairs, where enemies can’t easily move around your traps.

    Jinx

For the Jinx ribbon, you must be clever and have a clear line of sight to successfully lure enemies toward explosives like TNT. There are two main tactics to consider:

    1. Lure an enemy close with a whistle and shoot the TNT once they are near.
    2. Memorize an enemy’s patrol path, place the TNT, and wait for them to come by.

    The More The Merrier

Achieving this ribbon can be tricky since it requires two unsuspecting Nazis to be positioned closely. You can improve your odds by setting up the scenario beforehand:

    1. Knock one enemy down discreetly.
    2. Place a Teller Mine near them.
    3. Use a whistle or a distraction to draw a second Nazi into the trap.

This strategy will result in either the second Nazi stepping onto the mine or waking the first, leading to a satisfying explosion.

    Tank Terminator

Availability for this ribbon varies as not all missions feature tanks. However, in missions where they do appear, expect to use specialized explosives to deal with them effectively.

High explosives, such as TNT and Pressure Mines, will be your best bet. While these alone might not finish the job, they can disable critical components on the tank, making it easier to destroy.

You can also use armor-piercing rounds on weak spots. Entering Focus Mode will highlight these vulnerable areas, making your attacks more efficient.

    Armored Annihilator

Taking down armored vehicles is simpler than dealing with tanks; they typically require fewer explosives for destruction. Focus your attacks on weak points, such as the engine, for maximum damage.

Consider laying Pressure Mines along the vehicle’s path to initiate the encounter on a negative note, saving your ammunition for the main confrontation.

    Tracker

This ribbon is among the easiest to earn. Find a good vantage point with a clear line of sight where you can observe the behavior of many enemies. Pull out your binoculars and tag enemies for quick ribbon progress.

    Lifesaver

In cooperative play, you’ll have the chance to earn this ribbon by reviving downed teammates using a Med Kit. Anytime you help an ally in this way, you will receive the Lifesaver ribbon.

    Tagger

Another cooperative ribbon, you will need to act as the spotter while your partner takes out enemies. Tag foes with your binoculars, allowing your ally to score the kills.

    Bagger

This cooperative task requires you and a partner to shoot at the same enemy. You’ll need to weaken a target with your shot, then have your ally finish them off.

When initiating this strategy, make sure your shot is non-lethal—opt for less powerful weaponry and aim carefully, avoiding fatal shots.

    Mechanic

For the Mechanic ribbon, you’ll primarily focus on utilizing Pressure Mines against smaller vehicles, as they do not require much firepower to eliminate. Enhance your effectiveness by positioning a fuseless TNT right next to a Pressure Mine; when the vehicle trips the mine, it will also activate the TNT for significant damage.

  • Unlocking Multiplayer Specializations in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Unlocking Multiplayer Specializations in Sniper Elite: Resistance

The multiplayer experience in Sniper Elite: Resistance brings to mind a time when games were packed with various multiplayer options, even if the main focus was single-player play. This game introduces some distinctive elements that set its multiplayer mode apart from others.

Once you hit level five in the multiplayer segment of Resistance, you’ll have the chance to explore different specializations beyond the default Sniper specialization. These unique specializations can significantly alter how your character plays, and while it may take a while to unlock them, it’s worth understanding how it all functions.

    How to Unlock Multiplayer Specializations

To unlock multiplayer specializations, you must reach level five; keep in mind that this level is separate and doesn’t correlate with your campaign progress. Essentially, everything you do in multiplayer is distinct, including weapons and attachments.

Achieving level five in multiplayer generally takes just a few hours.

Your starting specialization is the Sniper specialization, which you can use right away. Any Perk Points you earn on your journey to level five can be applied to that specialization or saved for another one you might prefer.

You earn one Perk Point for every level you gain.

    Each Specialization and Its Perks

There are five specializations in Resistance, each featuring seven perks that you can unlock over time.

Your starting Sniper specialization remains equipped, and you can also select one of the other two specializations to complement it.

    1

This diminishes incoming explosive damage by 10%, enhancing your survival rate in explosive scenarios.

    Explosives Expert

    2

This allows quick deployment of landmines, though it bypasses the benefit of your Anti-Handling Device perk.

    Enhanced Shrapnel

    2

This adds a 15% chance for your mines to cause bleeding, creating critical situations for enemies who survive the initial blast.

    Master of Destruction

    2

This extends the range of your Panzerfaust by 20%, facilitating long-range assaults on stationary targets.

  • Mastering No Cross in Sniper Elite: Resistance Gameplay Guide

Mastering No Cross in Sniper Elite: Resistance Gameplay Guide

Overview of No Cross Mode in Sniper Elite: Resistance

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, several multiplayer modes are available, but none capture the essence of the series quite like No Cross Mode. In this mode, two teams are stationed at opposite ends of an impassable No Man’s Land, making sniping the main form of gameplay.

This unique setup results in a distinct flow of the game that players familiar with other modes might find challenging to navigate initially. It’s easy to accidentally hinder both your own and your team’s performance. Here are some strategies to be a valuable asset to your squad.

    Understanding No Cross Mode

    • The match consists of two halves of gameplay.
    • Each half lasts for ten minutes.
    • Teams switch sides at the end of each half to experience both areas of the map.
    • A total of 50 kills is required for a match victory.

It’s worth noting that matches often conclude due to time restrictions rather than reaching the kill limit. Upon dying, players face a brief respawn timer and can adjust their loadout between lives, significantly impacting their effectiveness in the game.

    Utilizing Your Third-Person Perspective

Sniper Elite: Resistance is played primarily from a third-person perspective, which can be strategically advantageous. This viewpoint allows players to peek around corners while remaining hidden from enemy snipers. Taking the time to observe the battlefield will give you insights into enemy positions without exposing yourself.

Keeping an Eye Out for Tracers and Glints

From your vantage point, focus on spotting sniper glints and bullet tracers. A glint resembles a flash from a camera, while a bullet tracer guides you to the source of a shot, albeit briefly.

It’s useful to align your shot as best as possible from your third-person view before switching to scope mode. This minimizes the time spent exposed and allows for a quicker follow-up shot.

    Avoid Long Scope Time

Remaining down the scope for extended periods can be risky; the sniper’s glare gives away your location. Make your shots swiftly—don’t linger unnecessarily in sniper mode. Aim to shoot then retreat swiftly to cover. This way, your opponents must accurately aim and time their shots perfectly to hit you.

    Familiarize Yourself with Safe Angles

To maximize safety while aiming, minimize your exposure by taking positions where enemy sights are blocked. Often, going prone helps conceal your presence, allowing you to maintain a good view while making it challenging for enemies to spot you. Consider positioning yourself behind cover, staying low, and using side angles to limit exposure.

    Reposition After Being Spotted

If you take out one or more enemies, or sense any adversaries know your position, it’s wise to relocate even if it’s to a nearby area. Once an enemy has been taken down and respawned, they might anticipate your location based on your last shot. Taking the initiative to move not only keeps you alive but complicates their efforts to line up another shot on you.

    The Smart Use of Explosives

The map is dotted with explosive barrels, marked in red. These can often be more useful than directly targeting enemies. Many players might neglect their surroundings, placing themselves near explosives instead of always seeking cover. Engaging these explosives can yield efficient results without the need for risky head-to-head combat.

The High Value of Each Kill

In No Cross matches, scores tend to be low, often not reaching the limit of 50 kills. This makes each kill particularly valuable. It’s crucial to protect your character; while risks can lead to rewards, staying alive is often more beneficial than acting recklessly. Approach the game more tactically rather than treating it like action-packed titles like Call of Duty.

    Reviving Teammates

Any chance to revive teammates should be taken. Players who are down will bleed out rather than outright die, providing an opportunity for timely rescues. Typically, allies downed within 100 meters are accessible for a swift revival. Sprinting often takes you safely to them, but be cautious of potential enemy ambushes.

    Exercise Patience in Gameplay

In No Cross, gameplay tends to take on a more leisurely pace, which may reward players who remain patient. Many opponents may take unwarranted risks, such as remaining exposed after being spotted. While it’s tempting to capitalize on their mistakes, it’s best to approach each situation with measured caution. Ensure you gain at least one kill per life—doing so consistently benefits your team significantly.

The experience in No Cross will gradually enhance your familiarity with map layouts and typical player camp spots. Over time, you’ll become adept at punishing others for mistakes you’ve learned to avoid.

  • Guide to Earning All Survival Ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Guide to Earning All Survival Ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance

    Quick Links

There are many ways to experience Sniper Elite: Resistance. This applies not only to your approach in the Campaign but also to the variety of game modes that can transform the gameplay significantly.

One of the most transformative modes is Survival Mode. This mode shifts the focus away from sniping from long distances, stealth tactics, and other elements typical to Sniper Elite. In Survival Mode, the objective is to secure a location against waves of attacking Nazis and, ultimately, to endure the onslaught.

Guide to Obtaining All Survival Ribbons

In Survival Mode, players can earn 13 different ribbons:

    Ribbon Requirement
Sentry Service Eliminate 15 Nazis while in proximity to the Command Post.
    Survivor Complete a Survival Mission.
Boom Barrage Destroy 10 Nazis with the Panzerfaust.
High Achiever Kill 10 Nazis, with each kill earning at least 300 points.
Post Protector Eliminate 5 Nazis who are trying to capture your Command Post.
Flawless Fighter Kill 10 Nazis without taking any damage.
Consecutive Carnage Achieve the highest number of kills in two consecutive waves.
No Quarter Finish a stage without losing your Command Post.
Steadfast Complete a stage without getting incapacitated.
Sniper Suppressor Eliminate 5 Nazi snipers with headshots.
Rider’s Remorse Destroy 10 Nazis while they are still in their vehicles.
Machine Gun Maverick Kill 10 Nazis using an MG42.
Fortress Keeper Finish a stage without allowing any enemy to reach the Command Post.

    Sentry Service

Several Nazis are in the scope of a sniper rifle in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Your location in Survival Mode will greatly influence your ability to earn this ribbon. If you frequently position yourself inside the Command Post, you stand to earn this ribbon more often due to the ample cover and available supplies.

However, if you’ve chosen a spot far from the Command Post, getting this ribbon will be much harder.

This ribbon’s viability heavily depends on your chosen location.

    Survivor

An enemy is clipped by a bullet in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon may take the longest to earn, but the good news is that you don’t have to follow any strict tactics.

Simply completing an entire Survival Mode mission will earn you this ribbon. Expect various waves across multiple locations. While it’s possible to achieve this solo, teamwork makes the challenge much easier.

    Boom Barrage

An explosion destroys a vehicle full of Nazis in Sniper Elite Resistance.

You’ll often find several Panzerfausts nearby your Command Post. They’re easy to pick up and use, especially when surrounded by groups of Nazis ripe for an explosive attack.

Be cautious not to waste your shots, as they are limited. Ensure you’re not firing too close to friendly units.

    High Achiever

Points are displayed for a double kill in Sniper Elite Resistance

Earning the High Achiever ribbon can be tricky, as it requires you to secure kills with various modifiers.

These modifiers can include performing headshots, organ shots, eliminating multiple enemies in one go, and destroying vehicles. The points earned per kill are displayed at the bottom right of your screen, so monitor this to understand which actions yield the most points.

    Post Protector

A wounded Nazi is about to be eliminated in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Securing the Post Protector ribbon can be straightforward. However, it ironically becomes harder if your team is performing exceptionally well.

This ribbon is earned by eliminating Nazis who are attempting to capture the Command Post. If your team excels, it means enemies aren’t reaching the post, so you might have to let some get closer before you engage.

    Flawless Fighter

Covering behind a stone wall in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Achieving ten kills without taking damage is manageable if you position yourself correctly or have supportive teammates.

While playing solo, you’ll need to be proficient with your sniper rifle and select a location that has solid sightlines and minimal access for foes.

If you have teammates, it helps if they are more aggressive, drawing the enemy’s attention while you aim from a secure spot.

    Consecutive Carnage

Firing an SMG at a Nazi in Sniper Elite Resistance.

You’ll need to be in a group to earn this ribbon, as it won’t track in solo play.

To achieve this, you must have the most kills in two consecutive waves. If your team is coordinated, you can easily alert them to allow you this opportunity. Without coordination, you’ll need to take aggressive action to eliminate enemies before your teammates can shoot, which will put you in risky positions.

    No Quarter

A bullet heads straight for a Nazi in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon is relatively easy to achieve in many scenarios. Most early stages can be completed without the enemy successfully capturing the Command Post.

Ensure you adequately cover your sightlines, and keep at least one player near the Command Post to eliminate any Nazis that may slip through.

    Steadfast

Taking cover behind sandbags in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Steadfast is as easy to earn as No Quarter. If you’re cautious and covering the right angles, you can get through a stage without being incapacitated.

The key advice is to stay covered as much as possible. Position yourself where enemies will struggle to flank you and where you can maintain a clear line of sight to take them out.

    Sniper Suppressor

A bullet heads for a building housing a sniper in Sniper Elite Resistance.

During most rounds, enemy snipers will spawn, typically one or two at a time. Often, they won’t have a direct line of sight on the objective. You can usually finish off all the other Nazis before dealing with them.

Enemy snipers often appear on rooftops. Look for glints that reveal their scope.

    Rider’s Remorse

A couple of Nazis on a motorcycle share a bullet in Sniper Elite Resistance.

The Rider’s Remorse ribbon can be easily earned through the use of heavy explosives like Pressure Mines or TNT. Expect to see enemy vehicles frequently throughout Survival Mode, especially in later waves.

Set up Pressure Mines in the roadway between rounds, and always have a Panzerfaust ready for these encounters.

If the vehicle is a car or motorcycle, you can also obtain this ribbon by shooting the driver and passengers before they exit.

    Machine Gun Maverick

Shooting a Nazi with an MG42 in Sniper Elite Resistance.

MG42s are often dropped by specialized enemies and can also be found scattered throughout the map. These weapons deliver heavy firepower and come with 100 rounds to eliminate your targets.

In solo play, these weapons can be particularly useful, balancing the odds against enemies. Be sure to conserve your ammunition and only take a few shots at each enemy to maximize your firepower.

    Fortress Keeper

Multiple enemy corpses litter the area outside of the Command Post in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon is essentially a more challenging version of the No Quarter ribbon: you must not allow any enemies to reach the Command Post.

If you’re playing by yourself, this can be tough since enemies may approach from multiple directions, making it hard to cover all areas. Strategically placed traps, such as Teller Mines and Grenade Booby Traps, will be very helpful.

When playing in a team, make sure to divide your sightlines so that everyone is focused on different angles; this teamwork will make it much harder for enemies to establish a foothold.

  • Unlocking All Non-Lethal Ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Unlocking All Non-Lethal Ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, you’ll spend a lot of time defeating Nazis, but there are situations where you can put them into a gentler kind of sleep. There are various methods to achieve this, and, most of the time, they offer better rewards.

There are seven unique ribbons you can earn in the non-lethal category. Some are easy to acquire just by playing, while others will require specific strategies. If aiming to collect every ribbon, understanding them is crucial.

Ways to Earn All Non-Lethal Ribbons

Here’s a list of all seven non-lethal ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance:

    Ribbon

    Requirement

    Concussion Conductor

Use Schu-Mines to knock out three enemies.

    Marked Mastermind

Tag at least 20 enemies alive and finish a mission.

    Stunner

Headshot 15 Nazis using non-lethal ammo.

    Ignition Inhibitor

    Disable three vehicles’ engines.

    Conscientious Affecter

Knock out 15 Nazis with non-lethal ammo.

    Pugilist

Execute ten takedowns, knocking Nazis unconscious.

    Yeet Street

Use throwables to knock out Nazis four times (excluding grenades).

    Concussion Conductor

This ribbon requires a bit of planning when you set up your loadout and also during the mission itself.

Make sure to equip Schu-Mines in your item slots before heading out. While they can be found in the mission area, relying on them now and then is not effective since they’re less common than other items.

Place Schu-Mines in areas like hallways or narrow passages. This way, enemies are more likely to trigger them rather than pass by unnoticed.

To increase your chances of success, position the mines in enemies’ patrol routes or draw their attention so they have to pass by the mine. To get the ribbon, knock out three enemies, so consistent use is essential.

    Marked Mastermind

Spotting an enemy sniper with binoculars in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon is straightforward if you can show some self-discipline. Using your binoculars, identify areas in each mission where you can spot nearly 20 opponents all at once. Be methodical and try to engage in non-lethal takedowns during the mission.

You will need to keep a low profile or carry enough non-lethal ammunition, as being spotted will complicate your mission significantly.

Using suppressors can greatly assist in accumulating this ribbon.

    Stunner

An enemy falls unconscious after getting shot with non-lethal ammo in Sniper Elite Resistance.

For the Stunner ribbon, you must prepare beforehand and maintain precision in your shots.

Bring non-lethal ammo, ideally on a sniper rifle with a low audible range. Find a location with a clear view and begin picking off enemies.

For an added bonus, lay some Schu-Mines first, as enemies investigating the gunfire might accidentally trigger them, helping you earn the Concussion Conductor ribbon simultaneously.

    Ignition Inhibitor

Harry sabotages an enemy vehicle's engine in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon stands out as it isn’t solely about taking down enemies. You need to interact closely with vehicles, either parked or on the move.

Approach the engine area and interact with it. Clearing out nearby enemies will help, but isn’t necessary.

You can also disable the engine by shooting it. Use Focus mode to see the vulnerable spots highlighted in red; there’s always one near the engine.

As long as you’ve disabled the engine first, you can push it far enough for it to explode, taking out any nearby enemies without affecting your ribbon count.

    Conscientious Affecter

A Nazi falls backward after being shot by non-lethal ammo in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon pairs well with the Stunner; in fact, you can earn both at the same time without any extra work.

Use non-lethal ammo from a good sniping position to achieve both headshots and takedowns, efficiently working towards two ribbons.

You can aim for the torso instead of the head if you’re only focused on this particular ribbon; this can be easily accomplished with an SMG.

    Pugilist

A Nazi appears terrified as they're choked from behind in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon is probably the most challenging to acquire, as it requires you to get up close and personal with enemies without being noticed.

Fortunately, you don’t need any specific weapons—your fists are enough.

To be successful, you should familiarize yourself with enemy patrol routes and be selective about which enemies to engage.

    Yeet Street

Harry throws a bottle at a Nazi's head in Sniper Elite Resistance.

This ribbon is relatively easy to collect since you can achieve it using bottles, a commonly found item.

You begin each mission with three bottles, and there are often more available scattered throughout the area. Focus your efforts on isolated targets, as you’ll likely need multiple throws to knock them out.

Aim for enemies who are walking away from you for an easier hit compared to those moving sideways.

    Smart Use of Non-Lethal Ammo

Non-lethal ammo highlighted in the inventory screen in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Many of these ribbons either require or benefit significantly from non-lethal ammo. However, you can’t carry an excessive amount of it into missions—typically, only enough for one magazine per weapon. Be mindful, as you’ll go through it quickly.

Look out for ammo caches scattered throughout missions. Most maps have one or two non-lethal ammo supplies that can assist you in securing an additional ribbon.

Exercise caution with each shot when using non-lethal ammo. Unlike standard ammunition, which can kill enemies, non-lethal shots are unique—once they’re spent, they’re gone. Some ribbons will need to wait until your next mission, so make every shot count.

  • Mastering the Coal Torpedo in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Sometimes, the smartest way to deal with a Nazi isn’t through gunfire, but with a clever bit of sabotage. In Sniper Elite: Resistance, the Coal Torpedo presents a particularly cunning method to tackle the Kill List challenge in Mission Six: Assault on Fort Rouge. Instead of engaging in a direct shootout, this task calls for a blend of patience, precision, and cleverness to ensure your target unwittingly seals their own doom.

If you want to execute one of the most gratifying takedowns in the game, we’ve got all the details you need. Here’s how to set the perfect trap, stay under the radar, and let the Coal Torpedo handle the messy part for you.

    Using the Coal Torpedo

The Coal Torpedo is essential for completing the Kill List challenge in Campaign Mission Six: Assault on Fort Rouge. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Your target is located in a building outlined in red on your map. Start by approaching the structure and enter through the ground floor. Inside, there are two Coal Torpedoes set on tables in different areas.

    • One is situated in a brightly lit room at the southern end, identifiable by a colorful striped rug.
    • The other can be found in the northern section, perched on a crate in a large office room on your left as you enter.

Either Coal Torpedo will work, so choose the one that is easiest to grab.

With a Coal Torpedo in your possession, head to the second floor. Your target, Uwu Schoene, identifiable by his white jacket, will be moving through the central room on this level. To set your trap, go to the northernmost room. On the room’s western side, you’ll find a lit fireplace. Look for a bucket placed near the fireplace’s left side and put the Coal Torpedo inside. After you’ve set the explosive, find a good hiding place close by and wait for Schoene to enter.

As Schoene walks into the room, he’ll inevitably place the Coal Torpedo into the fire, causing an explosion that takes him out immediately. Just like that, you’ve successfully completed the Kill List challenge.

Stealth and patience are crucial to make sure your target falls for the trap, so keep a low profile and let the Coal Torpedo do its thing.

  • Unlocking All Stealth Ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Unlocking All Stealth Ribbons in Sniper Elite: Resistance

    Quick Links

While you can certainly play through Sniper Elite: Resistance by taking out Nazis without caution, the top-tier snipers know that stealth is the key. A sudden bullet or a swift knife strike can be just as vital to the mission as using a grenade.

To demonstrate your skills as a stealthy marksman, the game offers seven ribbon challenges. Completing these can range from straightforward tasks to those that require considerable planning.

How to Earn Every Stealth Ribbon

There are seven stealth ribbons that can be earned throughout the missions in both the campaign and survival modes:

    Name

    Description

    Reaper

Eliminate 15 enemies while hiding in Tall Grass.

    Crate Keeper

    Conceal three bodies inside crates.

    Master of Distraction

Eliminate five enemies when they are distracted.

    Invisible Annihilator

Without being detected, take out 15 soldiers.

    Saboteur’s Symphony

Sabotage three objects to create sound distractions.

    Wraith’s Wrath

Achieve five lethal takedowns classified as Ghost Kills.

    Siren Suppressor

    Turn off an alarm.

    Reaper

This ribbon is best earned in more open missions, such as Collision Course or Lock, Stock, and Barrels.

Though killing 15 enemies in a single mission sounds like a big task, remember that only you need to be in the grass. Find a large patch of tall grass, and you can shoot enemies from afar, and it will count towards this ribbon. Melee takedowns also contribute, allowing you to earn both Wraith’s Wrath and this ribbon simultaneously.

    Crate Keeper

Throughout the missions, you’ll find crates designed to hide bodies. You’ll recognize these by the thin white line on their lids, which will highlight when you grab a dead body.

While this is a stealth ribbon, how you take down enemies doesn’t matter. You can sneak up on them and carry them to the crate or cause a ruckus and clean up afterward.

    Master Of Distraction

Creating a distraction involves gaining an enemy’s attention without alerting them to your presence. This can be tricky, but any enemy you eliminate while they are distracted will have the ‘Distracted’ score modifier recorded.

To distract enemies, use sound-based techniques like bottles, sound traps, whistling, or a sabotaged Schu mine before it detonates. However, enemies that are alerted, searching for you, fleeing for cover, or investigating a body do not count as distracted.

    Invisible Annihilator

This is among the easier ribbons to achieve, as it simply requires you to eliminate enough enemies without being detected. Many missions have sniping locations where you can take down foes without being seen, such as the beginning of Sonderzuge Sabotage, Collision Course, Assault On Fort Rouge, and End of the Line.

As long as you stay undetected, this ribbon can be earned within minutes of starting a mission.

    Saboteur’s Symphony

This ribbon is also fairly simple. Just locate any generators, vehicles, or alarms, and sabotage them to make noise distractions. The easiest missions to do this are those with a lot of vehicles, like Devil’s Cauldron or Sonderzuge Sabotage.

Sabotaging involves approaching the object and holding the sabotage button. Shooting does not count—you have to manually sabotage it for it to apply toward the ribbon.

    Wraith’s Wrath

Conversely, Wraith’s Wrath is one of the tougher ribbons since it requires you to get up close and perform melee takedowns on five enemies, and all five must be ghost kills.

Ghost kills require that you be completely undetected. The target cannot see you, and any nearby enemies must also be unaware after the takedown. The best mission to achieve this is Dead Drop due to its tight corners ideal for ambushes and enough enemies at the start to earn the ribbon relatively quickly.

    Siren Suppressor

The final ribbon is straightforward: just disable any alarm. You can do this by either approaching it directly to deactivate it or sniping it from afar.

Look for speakers with small boxes at the bottom; those are the alarms you can deactivate. You’ll only need to do this once to earn the ribbon. Sonderzuge Sabotage has alarms near the starting area, making it easier to obtain this ribbon.

  • Top Sniper Elite Resistance: Ultimate Authentic Loadout Guide

Top Sniper Elite Resistance: Ultimate Authentic Loadout Guide

Sniper Elite: Resistance is a game that tends to feel easier the more you replay its levels. Each mission is designed to be tackled multiple times, allowing players to recognize patterns and learn how to navigate challenges more effectively.

If you’ve run through a level a few times and want to raise the difficulty, consider trying the game on Authentic difficulty. This setting can provide a true test of your skills, and going into it with the right gear is essential for success.

    Authentic Difficulty

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, playing on Authentic difficulty strips away many of the game’s mechanics, leaving only the fundamental third-person perspective. You’re left without features like health regeneration; you’ll rely solely on healing items. There’s also no radar or "spotted" indicators, and your ammo count won’t be displayed. This forces you to pay close attention to your loadout, character status, and surroundings.

Bringing the right equipment is important, but smart gameplay is even more critical. Success lies in combining both thoughtful preparation and strategic play.

    Best Loadout for Authentic Mode

To tackle Authentic difficulty successfully, it’s vital to choose weapons that hit hard and can take down enemies quickly. You’ll want to avoid situations where multiple foes surround you, which can lead to quick defeat. Effective planning and the ability to set traps will help you choose your targets wisely.

These attachments enhance the Lee NO.4’s fire rate, improve aiming stability, and reduce noise, making it a highly effective weapon in various situations.

For long-range shots where sound isn’t a concern, using the Soft Point ammo is beneficial. The slight increase in damage can ensure a lethal hit, which is crucial when trying to effectively eliminate enemies before they find cover.

    Best Secondary Weapon

The Trench Gun is a unique choice as it’s the only shotgun available and serves a distinctive role.

This weapon can take out almost any enemy with a single shot, effective at various distances even without many attachments.

Best Attachments for the Trench Gun

To maximize the Trench Gun’s potential, consider these attachments:

    Slot Attachment
Special Ammo Rifled Soft Slug/.36 Shot
Sight Rifled and Improved Iron Sights
    Muzzle Improved Cylinder
    Receiver Lightened Assembly

These attachments improve the shotgun’s spread, firing rate, and accuracy. The Rifled Soft Slug rounds are particularly effective for longer engagements, vital when you need versatility in your arsenal.

    Best Pistol

When it comes to pistols, the Modèle 1935A is considered one of the better options for Authentic mode. It serves as a reliable close-range weapon that can silently take down enemies with one well-placed shot.

Best Attachments for the Modèle 1935A

    Best Items for Authentic Mode

Equipping yourself with a range of useful items is crucial for survival. Here are some essential items to consider:

    Med Kit

In Authentic difficulty, health does not regenerate, elevating the Med Kit’s importance. Using a Med Kit can restore your health completely, potentially saving your life.

    Bandages

While not as effective as Med Kits, Bandages are quicker to apply and can help recover from less severe injuries. They also allow you to carry more for emergencies.

    Grenades

Grenades are versatile, useful for handling groups of enemies, taking out foes in cover, or quietly eliminating multiple targets.

    Mines

Setting up Teller Mines along flanking routes provides an early warning system against approaching threats. They can serve as an effective defensive measure while you carry out your sniping duties.

    Schu-Mines

These can serve as alternatives to Teller Mines and are useful for discreetly manipulating enemy movements without revealing your position.

    TNT

While less subtle than other options, TNT is effective for significant destruction, capable of crippling or destroying vehicles with proper placement.

By using the right gear and strategy, you’ll find greater success navigating the challenges of Authentic difficulty in Sniper Elite: Resistance.

  • Mastering Traps in Sniper Elite: Resistance Guide

Mastering Traps in Sniper Elite: Resistance Guide

The Sniper Elite series, especially in titles like Sniper Elite: Resistance, is all about creatively eliminating Nazis. While the thrill of sniping enemies from afar is a major aspect of the game, there’s so much more to explore.

One exciting element is the use of traps. Each type of trap has its own unique characteristics and can add an explosive twist to your gameplay. You can either choose traps as part of your loadout before heading into a mission, or you can discover them hidden throughout the map.

    Where to Find Traps

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, traps are commonly located in areas with a higher enemy presence, such as bunkers or buildings. You’ll often find them neatly arranged on tables, alongside other useful items like grenades or medical supplies.

Additionally, you may encounter locked crates in these enemy-infested areas. These crates can be opened with tools like lock picks or crowbars and typically contain traps as well.

    Looting Traps from Enemies

When you take out Nazis, don’t forget to check their bodies. They often carry valuable items, including traps, ammunition, and health supplies. Scavenging through the remains of enemies you’ve defeated can be an effective way to replenish your resources.

    Including Traps in Your Loadout

You have the option to pack traps in your loadout. Initially, you can fill four item slots, but by leveling up certain skills in the Equipment tree, you can expand this to six slots.

    How to Use Traps

The effectiveness of a trap often depends on the situation. Here’s a breakdown of how to use different types of traps:

    Teller Mines/Pressure Mines

Teller Mines are specifically landmines that can be used effectively during defensive setups. These are great for guarding your position against enemy flanks.

Pressure Mines are more suited for dealing with vehicles. They only detonate when heavier weights, like those of vehicles, trigger them, making them safer for ambush situations when using Teller Mines.

    Using Grenades as Traps

While grenades may not seem like standard traps, they can serve that purpose. You can set a grenade on the body of a fallen Nazi to create a makeshift trap. When other enemies approach, they’ll set it off.

    Using TNT as a Trap

TNT offers a few options: the fused versions can be set to explode after a certain time, while the fuse-less variant requires you to shoot it to detonate. This versatility allows you to create significant damage by detonating explosives near enemies or vehicles.

    Using Schu-Mines

Schu-Mines provide a stealthy alternative, incapacitating enemies quietly without alerting others nearby. Some variants even draw enemies closer after a few seconds, enabling you to ambush them effectively.

    Using Satchel Charges

Satchel Charges might not be the first option that comes to mind when thinking about traps. However, they can be strategic when set on vehicles. With patience and a stealthy approach, you can set a Satchel Charge on a vehicle without getting detected, leading to explosive results.

If you’re feeling inventive, consider combining a Schu-Mine that lures enemies with a Satchel Charge for a double whammy detonation.

In conclusion, Sniper Elite: Resistance allows for creative gameplay through the effective use of traps, encouraging players to experiment with different strategies for maximum impact on the battlefield.

  • Top Sniper Elite: Resistance Loadout for Campaign Success

Top Sniper Elite: Resistance Loadout for Campaign Success

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, you’ll encounter a wide variety of challenges across different missions. The first time you tackle each mission, you’re likely to feel unprepared and uncertain about your strategy beyond the immediate situation.

Fortunately, Sniper Elite: Resistance encourages replaying missions, allowing you to refine your approach. With a wide range of weapons and equipment at your disposal, having a versatile loadout can be crucial. Here’s a comprehensive guide to creating a loadout that can tackle any scenario the game might present.

    Optimal Campaign Loadout

This loadout is designed to ensure you have the necessary tools to respond to various situations during the campaign. Given the unpredictable nature of combat, it’s essential to be well-prepared.

    Loadout Summary

Below is a quick overview of the full loadout before we delve into specifics:

    Slot Item
    Primary Weapon Lee NO.4
    Secondary Weapon SIG MKMS
    Pistol Welrod
    Item 1 Med Kit
    Item 2 Bandage
    Item 3 Grenade
    Item 4 Decoy
Item 5 (Skill Points Required) Teller Mine
Item 6 (Skill Points Required) TNT

    Top Primary Weapon

The Lee NO.4 stands out as one of the best weapons available. It boasts an exceptional effective range compared to other firearms and provides solid damage alongside a respectable fire rate.

This weapon is effective in both long-range and medium-range situations, allowing you to engage targets without a significant delay between shots.

Optimal Attachments for the Lee NO.4

To maximize the potential of the Lee NO.4, equip it with the appropriate attachments:

    Slot Attachment
    Barrel Lightened And Blued
    Muzzle MK II Suppressor
    Magazine 20RD Magazine
    Stock Bullet Loops

These attachments make the weapon quieter while significantly boosting its firing rate, making it formidable in engagements between 30 and 600 meters.

If silence is crucial, consider equipping subsonic rounds for the Lee NO.4. This reduces its audible range to under 57 meters.

    Best Secondary Weapon

The SIG MKMS is primarily a backup option and should not be your go-to choice. While it performs admirably when needed, it can be tricky to control against multiple enemies.

This weapon is invaluable when your cover is blown and you face numerous foes at close to medium range. Its high rate of fire and damage can help you dispatch opponents efficiently, but it struggles at longer ranges.

Optimal Attachments for the SIG MKMS

Here are the recommended attachments for the MKMS:

    Slot Attachment
    Barrel Precision Rifling
    Muzzle Mcleed Control Brake
    Magazine Extended Magazine
    Receiver Lightened Bolt

These attachments help enhance control, which is essential for the role that the MKMS plays. While not quiet, it’s crucial to be accurate when you need to fire it.

The Lightened Bolt attachment increases the rate of fire, therefore boosting the weapon’s overall damage-per-second.

    Best Pistol

The Welrod is challenging to use but exceptionally effective in certain situations.

While it has the second-highest damage output among pistols, its real strength lies in its silence, boasting an audible range of just 12 meters.

You’ll rely on the Welrod frequently, especially if you haven’t unlocked many suppressing options for the Lee NO.4. Stealth is your ally in this game, allowing you to navigate around enemies discreetly.

    Best Attachments for the Welrod

    Slot Attachment
    Muzzle Solid Stealth Baffles
    Rear Grip Khaki Grip Tape
    Receiver Reinforced Overpressure

These attachments enhance the Welrod’s stealth capability, reducing its audible range to just 7 meters. With careful aim, a well-timed shot on an enemy can take them down without alerting others.

    Top Items

This loadout is designed to handle a variety of situations, packing in numerous utilities.

    Med Kit

The Med Kit is the top-tier healing item in the game. Although it requires some time to use, it can revive you from near-death to full health. If you equip the ‘Back In The Fight’ skill from the Combat skill tree, you can also use it to revive yourself.

    Bandage

The Bandage in Sniper Elite Resistance.

The Bandage is a smaller healing item that restores one health chunk and stops any bleeding. It’s often more efficient than the Med Kit when you’re only missing a small amount of health. You’ll commonly find these scattered around the map or even looted from enemies.

When possible, opt for Bandages over a Med Kit; they are quicker to use, while the Med Kit is best saved for critical situations.

    Grenade

The Grenade in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Grenades are highly versatile, and having one equips you with access to multiple types:

    • Standard Grenade – Explodes after a set time.
    • Sticky Grenade – Adheres to surfaces, perfect for vehicles or getting around obstacles.
    • Impact Grenade – Silent detonation upon impact, best for eliminating nearby enemies without attracting attention.

Note that Impact Grenades can trigger nearby explosives, creating a loud and dangerous situation.

    Decoy

The Decoy in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Decoys can divert enemy fire away from you, serving as a distraction or providing intel. When enemies shoot a decoy, they’ll be marked, giving you visibility on enemy positions. You can choose between a default or a Fused Decoy, which emits sound at the end of its fuse to draw enemy attention.

    Teller Mine (Optional)

The Teller Mine in Sniper Elite Resistance.

For the last two item slots in this loadout, you’ll need the ‘Extra Item Slot’ skill from the Equipment tree. The Teller Mine is a great option, providing two variants:

    • Teller Mine – detonates when an enemy steps on it.
    • Pressure Mine – requires more weight to activate, ideal for damaging vehicles.

While vehicles aren’t a constant threat in every mission, they can be crucial in certain scenarios. Using Teller Mines effectively can help secure your position during engagements.

    TNT (Optional)

    TNT in Sniper Elite Resistance.

TNT is a powerful explosive, useful for dealing with tougher targets like vehicles. It can be triggered by damage or can be used in fused variants. It’s particularly effective against stationary targets, providing significant damage.

  • Distraction Tactics for Enemies in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Distraction Tactics for Enemies in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Sniper Elite: Resistance offers players several gameplay styles. You can charge in with guns blazing, overwhelming groups of Nazis, or you can opt for stealth, taking them down without a sound and racking up Ghost Kills.

If you choose the stealth route, having the right weapons and gear is crucial. One very useful tactic is to distract enemies, luring them into spots where you have the upper hand.

Effective Ways to Distract Enemies in Sniper Elite: Resistance

There are numerous techniques you can use to distract your enemies, each suited to different scenarios.

    Using Bottles as Distractions

Harry aims to throw a bottle to distract an enemy in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Your character, Harry, will start each mission with a few bottles in his inventory. You’ll also find bottles scattered around the map, typically on tables or wooden crates. The maximum you can carry at once is six bottles.

To use a bottle, open your equipment wheel (L1 on PS5, LB on Xbox, and Q on PC by default), select the bottle, and press the secondary action button (R1 on PS5, RB on Xbox, and F on PC by default).

If you throw a bottle close enough to an enemy, they’ll hear the noise and move towards it to investigate. This can serve several purposes:

    • By throwing a bottle, you can lead an enemy away from a doorway or other spot you need to cross. While they’re distracted, you can move through the area without being spotted.
    • Bottles can also act as lures. If enemies are clustered together, it can be challenging to take them out without raising an alarm. You can use a bottle to lure them into more manageable positions.
    • Consider using bottles to walk enemies into explosive traps. While this approach might be overly conspicuous, it’s an effective way to secure landmine kills.
    • You can also use Fused Lures—special bottles that distract enemies once their timer runs out.

    Whistling to Distract

Harry whistles to attract an enemy in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Whistling is a distraction technique that doesn’t require any equipment and can be performed as many times as you like.

Whistling is accessed in the same way as other equipment like grenades. Just open your weapon wheel and find the option on the bottom-right.

The limitation of whistling is that you can’t use it to divert an enemy away; it will always draw them towards your location instead.

    • This is useful for luring a single enemy so you can perform a silent melee kill. You can easily hide around a corner, whistle, and take them down once they come within reach.
    • You can also whistle and then crouch-walk away. This technique can get enemies to follow you into less secure areas, provided you have a side route to escape.
    • Similar to using bottles, whistling can directly lead an enemy into an explosive trap. Just make sure to set the trap first and keep a safe distance to avoid being caught in the explosion.

    Setting Up a Decoy

Harry places a decoy in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Decoys are another effective gadget for distracting enemies. You can find them throughout the game, but not as frequently as bottles.

Decoys work by catching the enemy’s eye rather than appealing to their ears. If enemies spot your decoy, they will shoot at it, and any enemies that hit it will be tagged.

You can also utilize Delayed Decoys that activate in five or 30 seconds. When these decoys trigger, they will create noise and alert enemies in the area, causing them to fire at it. Delayed Decoys are particularly useful for drawing attention while providing valuable information through tagging.

    • You can use decoys to cover your retreat, as enemies will focus on the decoy instead of searching for you.
    • Decoys can be employed offensively too. Enemies may try to position themselves advantageously around the decoy, allowing you to find a good spot to fire at them. If you have a silenced weapon and subsonic rounds, you can set up a shooting gallery.

    Using Explosions as Distraction

A vehicle explodes, creating a distraction in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Explosions can also serve as powerful distractions, offering a wider range than quieter methods. Many strategies exist for creating explosive distractions.

You can initiate an explosive diversion from afar if you spot an explosive and take your shot accurately. Look for red barrels, vehicles carrying explosives, and gas lines scattered across the map.

    • Vehicles present numerous explosive possibilities. While it may be hard to detonate a vehicle quickly with a gun, you can plant mines in areas where you anticipate a vehicle will pass, then find a suitable spot and wait. Sticky grenades are also effective when attached to vehicle weak points.
    • Grenades can create distractions as well but are limited by your throwing distance. However, they can still effectively create chaos if you need to distract multiple enemies quickly.

Note that Impact Grenades are quieter and thus not ideal distractions. Standard and sticky grenades will work better in creating noise.

When using explosions to distract, remember to consider the broader implications. Explosions can alert a large area of enemies, disrupting their typical behavior and making them less predictable. This method presents the greatest risk and reward among all distraction techniques.

    Using Soundmasks for Distraction

Harry sabotages a generator to create a soundmask in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Soundmasks can create distractions for enemies, though options are somewhat limited compared to other methods. You can tamper with vehicles or generators to produce consistent noise, prompting nearby enemies to investigate.

This soundmask prevents nearby enemies from being distracted while it’s active. However, it allows you to move around undetected, as your actions will be effectively silent amidst the noise.

  • Unlocking the Lost Its Way Gnome Achievement in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Unlocking the Lost Its Way Gnome Achievement in Sniper Elite: Resistance

    Quick Links

Sniper Elite: Resistance brings players intense action and gripping challenges. In the shoes of Harry Hawker, your mission is to eliminate Nazis and take down Kleine Blume to protect the D-Day landings. However, there’s another tiny goal you can’t overlook: you need to locate a special little character.

This character is none other than a French Resistance Gnome. Finding this gnome and capturing a picture of him using Photo Mode will earn you the Lost Its Way Gnome trophy or achievement. However, he’s just a small figure in a vast campaign set against the backdrop of Nazi-occupied France. So, where can you find him?

How to Find the French Resistance Gnome

The gnome may be tiny, but he is relatively easy to spot. You can find him in the fourth mission, Collision Course.

To locate the gnome, make your way to the bridge. Keep in mind that this isn’t the large dam but rather the smaller bridge located near the starting area. There’s a village at one side of the bridge and a tank with two bunkers filled with soldiers on the other side.

About halfway across the bridge, on the side that overlooks the dam, you’ll discover the gnome nestled in one of the many small arches. Be cautious, as this spot is right in the line of sight of the tank, so you may want to act quickly or take care of the tank first.

How to Get the Lost Its Way Gnome Achievement/Trophy

Once you’ve found the gnome, getting the achievement is straightforward. All you need to do is open Photo Mode and take a screenshot of him.

To access Photo Mode, head to the main menu and select it. Position your camera to capture the gnome, hide the user interface, and press the screenshot button on your platform. After doing this, the achievement or trophy will appear, marking your success in completing one of the key objectives in Sniper Elite: Resistance.

Additionally, there are ten more gnomes to discover in Chapter 7: Lock, Stock, and Barrels. While these do not grant any achievements, collecting all of them will reward you with a gold medal.

  • Mastering Photo Mode in Sniper Elite: Resistance: A Guide

Mastering Photo Mode in Sniper Elite: Resistance: A Guide

A well-designed photo mode can greatly enhance a gaming experience. It extends the time players engage with a game as they devote hours to capturing the ideal shot. Plus, it results in some amazing screenshots that players proudly showcase online. Fortunately, Sniper Elite: Resistance features a solid photo mode.

While the photo mode isn’t flawless and some expected features are missing, it performs well enough for players to capture numerous pictures during their missions against the Nazis.

    How to Access Photo Mode

Accessing Photo Mode is straightforward. Simply pause the game, and you’ll find the ‘Photo Mode’ option on the pause menu. This works on both console and PC. Currently, there’s no ‘Quick Photo Mode’ button or key bind available.

In Photo Mode, you can toggle additional features such as ‘Enable Camera Control’ and ‘Toggle Grid,’ the latter providing a grid to assist with alignment. You can also activate ‘Toggle UI’ to hide on-screen elements while preparing your shot.

Moving the Camera in Photo Mode

The shooting range in Sniper Elite Resistance.

Once in Photo Mode, you control the camera independently from the settings. The controls for your system or keybinds will appear in the bottom left. Hit the button for ‘Enable Camera Control’ to freely move the camera within a limited range around your character.

You can navigate the camera in all directions and tilt it up and down. However, you cannot adjust the field of view (FOV) while moving the camera; you’ll need to switch ‘Disable Camera Control’ to do that.

If you move the camera to an undesirable position or alter settings incorrectly, a button prompt in the bottom right of your screen allows you to reset Photo Mode to start afresh.

    Camera Settings in Photo Mode

The camera tilts to the side slightly in Sniper Elite Resistance.

After positioning your camera, you can disable Camera Control to access options on the right side of the screen.

The first tab is ‘Camera,’ containing five settings:

Discover All Workbenches in Sniper Elite: Resistance

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, your firearm is your most vital asset. While it serves as your defense against the Nazis and helps thwart the Kleine Blume initiative, it’s essential to keep it in top shape by discovering various upgrades throughout the levels.

By unlocking workbenches, you’ll gain access to enhancements for your rifle, SMG, and pistol. These modifications can make your weapons quieter, increase their damage, lower recoil, or even enhance their firing rate. To create your optimal loadout, ensure you locate all three workbenches during each mission in the campaign.

    Navigating the Map

This guide refers to directions as up, down, left, and right rather than north, south, west, and east. This approach is necessary because the map isn’t aligned to geographical north, unlike the minimap in the corner of the screen.

    Behind Enemy Lines

In your first mission, Behind Enemy Lines, there is only one workbench, conveniently located directly in the mission’s main route.

    Pistol Workbench

After pressurizing the dam, enter the barn and break down the wooden planks to your left.

This workbench is the sole one found in this mission.

    Dead Drop

The pistol workbench in Dead Drop can be one of the hardest to locate in the game because the entrances to its tunnel can be very easily overlooked. Fortunately, the other two workbenches are easier to find.

    Pistol Workbench

Head towards the northeastern section of the city. From the walls, you will see a tunnel leading underground. Enter the tunnel and unlock the gate to reach the workbench.

    SMG Workbench

To find the SMG workbench, pick the lock on the gate located in the inner courtyard of a large castle. This courtyard can be accessed from both the main courtyard and a quieter garden area, offering a stealthy entry.

    Rifle Workbench

Look behind the building in the bottom left corner of the map for stairs that lead to the first floor. Dispatch or sneak past the soldier and Gestapo agent, then unlock the gate that leads to the workbench.

    Sonderzuge Sabotage

In Sonderzuge Sabotage, the workbenches are relatively easy to access despite the map’s intimidating size. Start by grabbing the SMG workbench, then move across the larger bridge to collect the pistol bench, and finally head to the wharf for the rifle bench.

    Pistol Workbench

Located in a smaller building with a green roof and green interior walls within the train station. Unlock the gate and go upstairs.

    SMG Workbench

On the south side of the river, enter through the lit blue door where a Gestapo officer and a soldier are present.

    Rifle Workbench

At the wharf on the opposite side of the river, near the Claude La Ronde Kill List objective, you’ll find a well-lit brick building that houses the rifle workbench.

    Collision Course

Unfortunately, the workbench you accessed at the dam in the previous mission, Behind Enemy Lines, has been removed. In Collision Course, you will find three new workbenches in different locations.

    Pistol Workbench

Upon entering the abandoned village, climb the vines to reach the top floor of the resistance building and enter through the open window.

    SMG Workbench

In the train station, unlock the gate and descend the ladder, which is found on the right wall of the large room.

    Rifle Workbench

    Devil’s Cauldron

The Devil’s Cauldron map presents navigation challenges with its multiple levels and large cliffs. Accessing all three workbenches is quite difficult, especially since one is very close to the main objective of the mission.

    Pistol Workbench

Inside the Kleine Blume production facility, this workbench is located behind a locked door. You can either obtain the Factory Armoury Key from a nearby officer or use a satchel charge to access it.

There’s also an air vent in the adjacent room that leads into the workbench area if you can crawl through.

    SMG Workbench

From your starting point, continue up the road and take the first right to find a path leading to a tunnel. The workbench is just through the door directly ahead of you.

    Rifle Workbench

You’ll find the rifle workbench by picking the lock on a door in the church, then heading down the stairs. Remember to look for the propaganda poster on the church’s exterior wall.

    Assault On Fort Rouge

To secure all three workbenches in Assault On Fort Rouge, you’ll need to progress through most of the mission, with the rifle bench located near the finish.

    Pistol Workbench

On the grounds of the church by the town hall, look for a large brick shed. Unlock the door to find the workbench inside.

There is an optional objective in the church, so take care of that while you’re there.

    SMG Workbench

In the central-right area of the city, navigate through the bombed-out structures to find stairs leading underground. You might need to blow the door open with a satchel charge or pry the planks loose, depending on your chosen entrance.

    Rifle Workbench

Within the fort, there is access to the underground Kleine Blume storage facility. Explore a side corridor off the main warehouse, where you can either blow open the door or unlock it with a key from a nearby officer.

    Lock, Stock, And Barrels

All three workbenches in Lock, Stock, And Barrels can be found without entering the mansion if you start at the Western Farmhouse and move clockwise around the map.

    Pistol Workbench

Just beside the V1 rocket launch site is a bunker with a green ladder. Climb it and go through the door to access the workbench.

    SMG Workbench

In the brick barn on the far right of the map, next to the Western Farmhouse starting area, climb the ladder to find the SMG workbench.

    Rifle Workbench

In the bottom right corner of the map, ascend the vines on the watermill building and enter through the window. This area also features a Propaganda mission poster.

    End Of The Line

The final mission, End Of The Line, is among the most extensive in the game. Thankfully, its workbenches are positioned in a relatively straight line, allowing you to reach each one as you advance through the mission.

It’s worth noting that the actual final mission, All Or Nothing, has no workbenches.

    Pistol Workbench

In the more rural lower half of the map, discover an abandoned resistance facility. Climb the vines and shimmy across to reach the top floor, then descend the ladder into the barn for the workbench.

    SMG Workbench

In the upper left part of the map, there’s a medium-sized warehouse with internal walkways. Climb up and follow the path to find the workbench at the end of a long room.

    Rifle Workbench

Inside the large train station in the map’s center, proceed to the second floor and either unlock or blow open the door located in the right corner.

  • Mastering Axis Invasion in Sniper Elite: Resistance

Mastering Axis Invasion in Sniper Elite: Resistance

    Quick Links

After being introduced in Sniper Elite 5, the Axis Invasion feature returns in Sniper Elite: Resistance, letting players step into the shoes of the enemy and disrupt others’ campaigns. Drawing inspiration from mechanics found in the Souls series, this mode can be incredibly enjoyable if you understand its nuances.

Whether you’re the one defending against an invasion or eager to become an aggressor, trying this mode at least once is highly recommended.

    What Is Axis Invasion?

Axis Invasion is a game mode in which you can invade other players’ single-player campaigns. During an invasion, the objective is straightforward: eliminate your target or face defeat yourself. If the player being invaded dies, they will lose progress on their mission, while you, as the invader, will gain a rank. Each successful kill unlocks various rewards like new weapons, modifications, or skins.

Note: Axis Invasion is turned on by default, but you have the option to disable it if you prefer an uninterrupted campaign experience. To do this, navigate to Options, then Game, and set Allow Axis Invasion to either Off or Invite Only.

    Being Invaded

You can be invaded during most campaign missions, except for the first and last chapters. Typically, you can’t be invaded immediately; you must progress through the level before this feature activates. You can check the exact moment that invasions become possible in the pause menu.

While NPC enemies remain a threat during invasions, your main focus should be locating and eliminating the Axis sniper. If you’re killed, you can restart from the moment you were invaded. Be cautious about advancing too far into the mission, as doing so could lead to losing significant progress.

If you find yourself nearing the end of a mission, exiting will automatically secure a win, so don’t hesitate to make a break for it!

The best tool at your disposal when under siege by an invading sniper is your focus ability. By using focus, the minimap will show a general direction of the enemy, lighting up if they get close enough. This ability allows you to track your opponent, providing a crucial advantage.

You can also utilize—and sometimes rig—phones located throughout the map to share both players’ positions. While this tactic can expose you, it can also provide vital information about your safety.

    Tips for Being Invaded

    • Stay Calm: Remember, your opponent doesn’t know your location. Take your time to assess your surroundings and choose a strategic position.
    • Be Discreet: Sounds like gunfire, explosions, and running can be heard by your enemy. They also keep track of any tagged NPCs, so eliminate them carefully.
    • Use Your Scope Wisely: Looking through your scope creates a tell-tale glare that your adversary can see. However, they also give away their position this way.
    • Keep Moving: Staying stationary for too long will reveal your location. It’s better to change positions frequently, even minimally.
    • Be Aware: The invader will be more cunning than typical NPCs; simply hiding in grass or behind cover is often not enough to remain undetected.

    Playing as the Axis Invader

When you invade, you’ll spawn in a random location on the map, typically some distance away from your target. This gives you a chance to find cover, survey the landscape, and plan your next steps.

As the Axis Invader, you have unique abilities that differ from playing as the main character, Harry Hawker. However, these come with significant limitations.

    Skill Description
Eagle Eyes Tagging NPCs reveals where they last saw your target.
Stay Sharp Nearby NPCs will alert you to your target more quickly.
Sixth Sense You will be notified if the enemy successfully tags you.
Wire Trapper You can rig phones to explode when your opponent uses them.
Grenade Throwback Throw grenades that land close to you.
Stabilized Healing items lower your heart rate as well.
Back In The Fight Revive yourself with med kits when downed.
Cardio Your sprinting doesn’t increase your heart rate as fast.
Speedy Recovery Your health regenerates more quickly after taking damage.

You can roam the environment openly, as you don’t need to hide from NPCs, allowing you to move quickly between strategic locations. However, the downside is that you have limited visibility of your opponent’s whereabouts. You can’t directly track their movements, relying instead on NPC observations for updates.

Tips for Playing as the Axis Invader

    • Spawn Strategy: Your spawn location can give clues about your opponent’s position. For example, spawning near late objectives usually indicates the player is positioned closer to the beginning of the mission.
    • Tag NPCs: Tagging will help you gain intel on your target, as NPCs that spot them will change color based on their engagement.
    • Leverage Key Enemies: Non-player characters like snipers can indicate how far the player has progressed through the mission.
    • Use Your SMG in Close Quarters: It can be a lifesaver when navigating tight spaces.
    • Avoid Trapping Phones: With numerous phones scattered throughout the map, rigging them is often a poor use of time and resources.

By skillfully navigating the battlefield and using your unique abilities, you can become a formidable Axis Invader, enhancing both your gaming experience and that of your opponents.
