Every new season of Fortnite brings a fresh storyline for players to dive into, and the release of Chapter 6, Season 1 is no exception. This season features a variety of story quests waiting to be explored.

These quests typically start by tracking down a particular character or gathering clues about new elements on the map. For this season, players will be tasked with investigating mysterious demons and peculiar masks that they may have come across.

We will keep this article updated once the ‘Splinters of Possibility’ story quest is made available.

Kendo’s Calling

Stage 1 of 6:
To kick off the Kendo’s Calling quest, your first objective is to locate and meet Kendo. He can be found on the northeastern edge of Nightshift Forest, right by the waterfall.

To streamline this process, you can access the Quest tab to track the quest, which will place a marker on your map for easier navigation. This feature is helpful for all quests.

As you approach Kendo’s location, you will see him battling a demon. Join him in the fight and then interact with him to proceed with the quest.

Stage 2 of 6:
After your conversation with Kendo, your next mission is to inflict damage on demons scattered throughout the map, including Night Rose, Shogun X, and others wandering the landscape.

Open your map, and you’ll notice white symbols indicating their locations.

You just need to hit them with any weapon to meet the quest’s requirements.

Stage 3 of 6:
In this stage, you need to place Spirit Charms at three distinct locations. Although there are more than three potential spots on the map, the quickest way to finish this task is to head over to the Magic Mosses area, where all three locations are conveniently close to each other.

Stage 4 of 6:
Next, you have to collect five Residual Essences from Shogun’s Solitude, Warrior’s Watch, or Demon’s Dojo.

Since Demon’s Dojo can be a popular landing spot due to the boss fight, it’s recommended to visit Shogun’s Solitude or Warrior’s Watch as they are near each other. Once there, look for the blue spirits and interact with them to collect a total of five.

And don’t worry—you can gather these essences over multiple matches if needed.

Stage 5 of 6:
This stage is similar to Stage 2, but now your task is to eliminate demons instead of just damaging them. Each demon you take down will drop an essence that you must collect.

Aim for Demon’s Dojo, where the boss, Night Rose, is present. As long as Night Rose remains alive, her shades will continually spawn, making it easier to collect the ten essences you need.

Note that you do not have to begin the fight against Night Rose for the shades to appear. However, be cautious, as multiple players may land in this area.

Stage 6 of 6:
For the final stage of Kendo’s Calling, you need to bring the essences you collected to Shadow Blade Hope, who is situated southeast of the map in the Hopeful Heights area.

Interact with her and select the option to hand over the collected essences to successfully complete the Kendo’s Calling quest.

Jade and The Mask

Stage 1 of 6:
To start the Jade and the Mask quest, you must first complete Kendo’s Calling. Begin by speaking to Kendo where you found him earlier.

Choose the option to inquire about the Dark Magic to trigger the next quest.

Stage 2 of 6:
The objective marker will guide you to a portal near Kendo, which you need to interact with to advance in the quest.

Stage 3 of 6:
You’ll then need to find Daigo’s hidden underground workshop located in the Masked Meadows. First, speak to Daigo at his location, then enter the house he’s in and head downstairs to the workshop.

In the workshop, investigate four specific items:

• The three masks hanging on the wall.
• The adjacent painting.
• The small cage.
• The strange machine nearby.

Stage 4 of 6:
After checking out those items, you should collect one of the masks situated near the strange machine. This will yield both Oni Masks, so make sure to pick one up.

Stage 5 of 6:
When this stage begins, you’ll have to make a choice that doesn’t affect your quest progress; you can either drop the mask or use one of its abilities.

Stage 6 of 6:
Finally, head back to Kendo and interact with him. Ask him about Jade to complete the Jade and the Mask quest.

The Great Turtle

In the Great Turtle quest, you must track down a remarkable turtle that changes its location every match. Interact with Ryuji, who can be found on the turtle’s shell. Afterward, your task is to free the turtle from the dark magic thorns.
