  • Should You Save Nyx During the Marauder War to Solving Them in Tides of Tomorrow

Should You Save Nyx During the Marauder War to Solving Them in Tides of Tomorrow

As you explore different parts of the story in Tides of Tomorrow, you’ll meet many characters. However, they mainly belong to three groups: Marauders, Mystics, and Reclaimers. To unlock the best ending, it’s important to gain their support.

To do this, you must follow three separate storylines, each affected by your choices with that faction throughout the game. To persuade the Marauders, you need to go back to Wrecklandia and do certain things to increase your chances.

Since your previous decisions can influence outcomes, this guide is still a work in progress as we find all possible endings for this part of the story.

Where to Find Nyx’s Hidden Members

When you enter the area, your first task is to find Kass. She can be found easily in the middle of the main area. She will then ask you to locate Nyx’s hidden rebels. Remember, this only happens if you chose to save Nyx from Obin at the start of the war at Obin’s Tower.

To find these hidden survivors, go behind Kass. You’ll see a small path on your right behind some crates. Enter that area first to gather all items available. Afterward, tell Kass about their location. She will then go to the hideout and close the door behind her.

    Where to Find Nyx

As Kass heads toward the hideout, she will ask you to find Nyx. From the main area, turn left into a small alley. Follow this path and turn right at the T-intersection. Continue straight, and you’ll be ambushed by Nyx’s guards. During conversation, choose the option “Only on my condition” when she asks for your help. This will open Nyx’s will meter.

You can then select to help “reclaim the Maelstrom” to lower the red bar. If you have the Troublemaker trait, you can pick the first option on the next choice. If not, choose “You owe me,” and remind her of how you saved her from Obin.

Keep choosing options until you can say, “I’m your best chance at survival right now.”

How to Leave the Area Alive

After talking with Nyx, you’ll do a stealth mission to avoid Obin’s guards. Start by jumping down the small gap in the fence where Nyx’s soldier was standing. Follow the path until you can climb back up, then wait for the soldiers to pass.

Once they do, crouch, grab some scrap, and follow the same path they took. The soldiers walk in a circle, so if they come back, you can jump onto the platform on your right to stay hidden.

Before reaching the large red door, you can sneak through the right side and find stairs going up. Climb these stairs, go down the other side, crouch in the left area, and listen for Nyx’s voice again.

After this, swim across the water to reach the other side, then take the elevator up to the room with Kass and Nyx.

    What to Do With Nyx

To get the best ending, you want to save Nyx and convince the Marauders to support you. During the dialogue, choose these options:

    • Kass, don’t hurt her.
    • Killing him was still wrong.
    • Help us, and you’ll live.
    • Will you help us reclaim the Maelstrom?
    • That’s not enough. We need an army.
    • Nyx, you have to surrender.
    • Play dead. We’ll pretend we killed you.

Choosing the last option will greatly boost Nyx’s will meter, turning it into the blue section. Once that’s achieved, you can select “Stop Kass” and leave the area. As you exit, the Marauders will support you.

  • Should You Kill or Save Shadowheart’s Parents in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Should You Kill or Save Shadowheart’s Parents in Baldur’s Gate 3?

If you decide to follow the dark path of the Dark Justiciar, you’ll find Shadowheart’s parents hanging in the House of Grief after defeating them. Lady Shar will then demand that Shadowheart execute her own parents. This is definitely the evil route.

Allowing Shadowheart to kill her parents results in their death, but it has deeper consequences. Their souls are sent into eternal torment in Shar’s dark afterlife, forever separated from her worship. The only silver lining is that Shadowheart’s memory will be wiped again as she gains more power, meaning she won’t remember her parents and won’t believe you if you tell her what happened. You’re left with the burden of this decision.

Choosing this route also boosts Shadowheart’s power. Any remaining Justiciars in the previous room will come under her control and fight alongside you in the final battle. However, be careful not to kill all the Justiciars in that room, as you’ll need some of them to join your team during the last fight. Without allies, you’ll miss out on key benefits of this choice.

    —

If instead you follow the Sune path, after defeating Mother Superior, Shar will still appear in the House of Grief and push Shadowheart to kill her parents. Killing them here is a very different story. If Shadowheart walks the light of Selune, she can choose to spare her parents. Both options will lead to her parents being rescued and joining your camp for the rest of the game.

To convince her to make this decision herself, you can trigger some memories in the Lower City that remind her of her past life. There are three spots where these memories can be unlocked:

    1. Allister Marnley’s Grave (X: 24, Y: 14)
    2. Graffiti on a wall near the Baldur’s Gate waypoint (X: -214, Y: -32)
    3. Shadowheart’s hidden spot in the Night Orchid cave, the basement of the House of Grief

You only need two of these memories to motivate her, but high approval with Shadowheart is helpful. Even if you don’t revisit these places, you can still persuade her to save her parents by supporting her emotionally and encouraging her to make her own choice.

If you decide to save her parents, they will be brought back to camp and have a chance to live out their days peacefully. Emmeline, Shadowheart’s mother, will still suffer from severe memory loss and declining health but will offer wisdom and comfort. Arnell, her father, will consistently give advice, and both will help lift Shadowheart’s mood throughout the story.

However, keep in mind that her curse remains. It is mysterious but causes her intense nightly pain and torture that will continue for her entire life. Despite this, if she survives, Shadowheart will eventually accept her loss and offer to stay with you, moving on despite her guilt. In romantic endings, she might openly admit her longing to reconnect with her parents, revealing her deep feelings and regrets.

    —

In a different scenario, if you betray Shar and choose to save Shadowheart’s parents, both routes (Shar or Selune) will lead to her parents being freed and joining your camp. To ensure this, support her in making her own decision when the moment comes. You may also want to trigger specific memories in the Lower City to strengthen her resolve—visiting places like Allister Marnley’s Grave, the graffiti near the waypoint, or her secret spot in the Sombre Embrace basement can help. These prompt her to comment and then speak with you, reinforcing her choice.

Just be aware: her parents will survive, but her curse remains. She will continue to suffer nightly pain, a burden that will likely persist, and her memory of her past will stay intact. Still, she might eventually settle down with her parents near you, living out her days, even as she endures centuries of the curse.

If you are romancing Shadowheart, she might express a desire to reconnect with her family, saying she would have given anything to speak with them again, even if it meant continuing her curse. Supporting her in saving her parents aligns with her true feelings and may lead to a bittersweet, emotionally rich ending.

    —

Throughout all choices, significant relationships and pivotal decisions shape Shadowheart’s fate. Whether she bears her curse in silence or finds peace with her past, the route you choose leaves a lasting mark on her story.

  • How to Save Bad Grief’s Life by Completing and Solving in Pathologic 3

How to Save Bad Grief’s Life by Completing and Solving in Pathologic 3

Ryan grew up playing mascot platformers and role-playing games from Japan, which sparked his passion for gaming. He has been enthusiastic about video games for over 20 years and has spent the last decade writing about them.

A key part of Pathologic 3 is making different choices—either to change Daniil Dankovsky’s actions to stop him from being arrested on Day 5 or to influence other characters’ decisions. These choices often lead to better outcomes, even saving some people from death.

One of the first major characters you can help save is Bad Grief, who is the leader of the town’s criminal underworld. If you act quickly, you can prevent his death and turn him into an uneasy ally and trader. But convincing him requires skill and careful conversation.

    ### How to Save Bad Grief on Day 4

Bad Grief is hiding in his base in the Warehouses district. On Day 4, you can find him there, but two bandits are waiting outside, believing he is responsible for killing Simon Kain.

Your options in the conversation vary. You could choose violence and shoot the bandits, which will save Bad Grief but will hurt your character and use up resources. Alternatively, you can try to talk your way out.

To do this, you’ll want to:

    – Ask the bandits why they suspect Bad Grief.
    – Discuss Simon Kain’s past acts of forgiveness.
    – Persuade them that they can’t be certain about their suspicions and remind them of Simon’s kindness in similar situations.

Getting the bandits to doubt their claims and trust your reasoning will cause them to leave Bad Grief alone. Afterward, you can enter his base, speak with his assistants, and confirm that you’ve saved him from an untimely death.

  • How to Save Rubin’s Life in Pathologic 3 by Completing and Solving

How to Save Rubin’s Life in Pathologic 3 by Completing and Solving

Pathologic 3 focuses heavily on fixing past mistakes, especially once you gain the power to time travel. Early on, you’re faced with important choices, such as whether to save Rubin from being killed by a mob on Day 3.

Rubin, the last person to see Simon Kain alive, is also suspected of being involved in Kain’s death. If you choose not to stop the bandits on Day 3, you’ll lose a vital lead for your main mission in the town.

How to Save Rubin on Day 3

Rubin is located in the Warehouses district on Day 3, which is full of chaos due to a riot. This makes it tricky to navigate the area. It’s common to encounter this district early in the game, so knowing how to survive here is crucial.

    Key survival tips:

    • Rioters won’t talk; they will attack on sight.
    • You can threaten them by aiming your gun at them. However, shooting isn’t recommended because bullets are rare and your ally Daniil will suffer.
    • To threaten, fire a shot in the air. Just make sure your gun is loaded—an empty gun won’t scare them, and they’ll keep attacking.
    • Only threaten the rioters when you need to pass close by. Many can be avoided by running around them.
    • If you have plenty of health items, boosting your Mania (a mental state) can help you escape from rioters faster.

    Visual cues:

    • Rubin is in the Warehouses district amidst the riot, where chaos makes traversal difficult. Here’s an image for reference:

    Dealing with bandits:

    • Head to the old boiler room at the bottom of the district; use your map or Concentration Mode to locate it.
    • Outside, you’ll find two bandits standing guard (use your map or Concentration Mode for specific directions).
    • Approach them, and dialogue will follow.
    • The bandits won’t fall for threats forever. They’ll eventually stop attacking, but only temporarily.
    • To progress, you’ll need to eliminate one of them: a headshot will do the trick to kill one. The remaining bandit will surrender afterward.

Once you’ve dealt with the bandits, you can interact with the door to Rubin’s location. However, he won’t let you in right away—he’ll tell you to come back another day.

  • Can You Save Audra in The Outer Worlds 2 Through Completing and Solving?

Can You Save Audra in The Outer Worlds 2 Through Completing and Solving?

Companion characters are a core part of any party-based RPG. Obsidian is well-known for crafting memorable companions, and in The Outer Worlds 2, there’s a diverse cast of characters for you to meet. Each companion has their own set of quests that help develop their stories both narratively and through gameplay.

Niles Abara is the first companion you’ll meet during the game’s opening mission. He becomes your ally after you’re stranded in space for ten years. That time in deep space is enough for him to have some regrets, and he needs your help to resolve those before focusing on the mission ahead.

    Unlocking The Pressing Cares Quest

Niles’ initial companion quest, called Pressing Cares, can be started very early but isn’t obvious. It isn’t discovered simply by talking to an NPC or marked on your map. Instead, Niles himself must offer it, which only happens when he’s in your party as you explore.

The quest usually triggers after you’ve spent enough time exploring Fairfields. Being close to Augustine de Vries might remind Niles of his past. When the opportunity arises, a dialogue icon will appear above his head, signaling that he’s ready to talk about it. To start the quest, just speak with him. Niles had a partner named Zebulon during his time away, who he left behind after a dispute. Zeb wanted to escalate attacks on the Protectorate, but Niles kept his cover, causing him to disappear suddenly. Now, Niles wants to make amends.

    Meeting With Zeb

Zebulon is located further north than Fairfields, in Westport—a city that was flooded and abandoned by the Protectorate after an invasion. Interestingly, Westport is not on the west side of the map but on the east, making it the largest settlement on the southern island and a recognizable landmark.

You won’t find Zeb in the city itself but in the flooded area nearby. To reach him, you’ll need to navigate past the Bridge of the Reverent, which might require sneaking in from the northeast corner of the map. Here, you’ll find a sunken ship, which you can access if you have P.A.L.E. boots—these allow double jumps and are obtainable through a specific quest called A Final Death for Gravity.

Once on the northern island, head to the landing pad near Zeb’s hideout. Guarded by Protectorate soldiers, you’ll want to be discreet, although direct combat is also an option, which won’t impact the quest’s outcome.

The Subversives, Zeb’s group, are found in a cell behind the landing pad, away from patrols. You can take your time here, but be aware that most of Zeb’s subordinates have been killed—only Audra remains alive. She has the cipher they stole, but she refuses to leave because she plans to blow up the Protectorate ship with herself aboard, making it look like a maintenance accident.

Convincing her to abandon her plan is possible with multiple dialogue options involving Engineering, Explosives, or Speech checks. Niles also supports her decision. Afterward, she will thank you, and you can inform Zeb of what happened.

    Returning to Zeb

When you reconvene with Zeb, he will ask where the Subversives are. The scene quickly shows the Protectorate ship exploding. While there’s an Explosives check involved, it’s obvious what has occurred. Expressing sympathy is recommended to keep your character’s integrity intact.

Zeb acknowledges the sacrifices and recognizes that the cipher’s recovery was worth it. He begins to mend his relationship with Niles and offers you an old mod kit, which he had kept for Niles years ago. This completes the Pressing Cares quest.

Using Niles’ Field Tinkering skill, you can immediately apply the mod kit, which changes his appearance and allows you to switch between different upgrades as needed.

  • Can You Complete Willem’s Quest in Vampire: The Masquerade?

Can You Complete Willem’s Quest in Vampire: The Masquerade?

Since the start of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, it’s clear that your character is quite powerful, especially after learning more about The Nomad. With this strength, most early challenges are fairly easy to handle.

However, once you reach the To Founder On The Lethe quest, the real challenge begins. You will face many more enemies, and you’ll need a solid strategy to succeed.

    ### How To Get To Founder On The Lethe Quest

This quest focuses on uncovering the meaning behind the mark on your hand. Before starting, you need to make some progress in the main story. After defeating Benny and becoming the sheriff, you must first stop a masquerade breach at the Atrium.

After defeating Ysabella at the Atrium and talking with Ryong, you can exit Weaver Tower and meet Tolly at the bottom. He introduces the quest and instructs you to find Willem at the South Main Street Parking Lot. When you arrive, you’ll need to fight through many anarch enemies.

    > Tip: It’s best to stay on the rooftops while heading to the quest marker, since the entrance is only accessible from above.

Before starting, unlock certain abilities, because the main difficulty of this quest is facing groups of enemies that include two or more elites at once. Fighting these groups directly usually results in failure. The recommended skills to unlock are:

    | Ability | Description |
    |———————|————————————————————————————————–|
    | Cauldron Of Blood | Boil an enemy’s blood to attract others, helping you avoid combat if needed. |
    | Possession | Take control of an enemy, forcing them to attack their allies. Beware – detection turns them hostile. |
    | Bladed Hand | Instantly kill smaller enemies or reduce an elite’s health by half with a quick strike. |
    | Blood Salvo | The strongest ability, allowing you to take out multiple elites with a few hits. |

    > Note: You can complete the quest with other abilities, but using this combination makes things much easier.

    ### How To Reach Willem In The Parking

Head to the roof marked with a blue icon. Here, you’ll meet some anarch enemies guarding the entrance. Use the Cauldron of Blood ability on an adversary on the left side of the roof; this clears the way to enter the parking lot.

The parking lot has two floors filled with enemies. On the upper level, you can possess an elite enemy to turn them against their allies, which helps clear out groups including elites, since they’ll keep fighting until they’re defeated.

Repeat this process on the lower floor, but it’s recommended to possess a commanding enemy with a ranged weapon, since they survive longer and can take out more enemies before falling. After clearing both floors, proceed through the door to reach the staircase.

    ### How To Find Willem In The Plastic Factory

Once inside the plastic factory, follow the simple path to an open area. Cross to the opposite side and climb the stairs twice to reach Willem. He’ll put you into an illusion, but you can choose “Is everything all right?” to get a positive response from him.

    > How To Break Willem’s Illusion

Willem’s illusion traps you within the factory three times. Each time, you face different challenges: the first two are combat-based, and the third is a puzzle.

In the first challenge, you’ll see Sabbat enemies. Use possession on the large elite in the area to eliminate most foes quickly. Once the enemies are dealt with, feed on the remaining ones to reveal Willem, who then causes the next illusion.

The second challenges involve puppets. These don’t have blood, so you can’t feed on them, and they attack in waves. Move around constantly, attacking the puppets to survive. After defeating all the puppets, feed again to reveal Willem for the final illusion.

The last challenge is non-combat. Use your Heightened Sense to follow the music. When you get close to a music player, use telekinesis to attack it, moving toward new sources as the sound moves. Follow the sound to reach the room where you first encountered Willem’s illusion.

Once there, attack Willem directly to break the illusion. Although Sofia’s wishes to save him aren’t possible, you can choose comforting dialogue options:
    – “I can help you, Willem.”
    – “There is still hope for you.”

After the explosion, the sequence includes several flashbacks, and the quest ends.

  • How to Save Sherma in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

How to Save Sherma in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

Sherma is the most precious and beloved character in Hollow Knight: Silksong. His safety is our top priority, and when he is threatened, we ride out at dawn.

This time, Sherma has gone on a bit of an adventure into the Whiteward to find balms and bandages for wounded pilgrims of the Songclave. Although his cause is noble, Pharloom’s shadows are not a place for someone as pure as him. It is our responsibility to protect him at all costs.

How to Start Balms for the Wounded

Before you can begin the Balms for the Wounded quest, you need to complete two key steps so Sherma will appear at the Songclave:

    1. Open the shortcut gate at Bone Bottom called The Marrow connection.
    2. Defeat the Last Judge and open the Grand Gate in the Blasted Steps.

Important: If you haven’t done both, Sherma won’t be able to progress further into Pharloom.

    Meeting Sherma in Various Locations

Along your journey, you may find Sherma at several spots. These aren’t necessarily required to advance his story, but it might be helpful to find him in these places:

    • In front of the Bell Beast (while it’s trapped)
    • Pilgrim’s Rest
    • Bellhart
    • Bench at the Blasted Steps
    • Citadel Spa

Note: Sherma appears at the Citadel Spa after the Songclave bell rings. He may wait until the Cogwork Dancers are defeated; if he doesn’t show up, try defeating them.

    Entering Whiteward

To reach Whiteward for the first time, start at the Grand Bellway station. Enter the chamber on the left, take the second exit from the bottom left, and go through the long corridor into the far room. The Whiteward entrance is marked by an upside-down spear sign on the bottom right. Inside, use your key to unlock the elevator to access this area.

Once inside, take the elevator down to the bottom. Travel left past the key slot, jumping onto platforms to reach a narrow upper tunnel. Ascend as far as possible, navigating through steam vents, then jump up and to the right, avoiding circling fans.

Tip: There’s a rare Spool Fragment under the elevator shaft. Climb up, hit the lever at the top, and fall to the middle side paths before the elevator arrives to retrieve it.

    Progressing Through Whiteward

Eventually, you’ll reach a dead end with a lever. Pulling it opens a new path below. Drop into this room and destroy false walls along your route to the right. Pass the elevator shaft, destroy a grate, and fall down to find the Whiteward Map for sale—costs 70 Rosaries—but your goal is further right.

Following Sherma’s trail from the map area, head past enemies and climb onto a platform to reach the room above. Then, cross spikes and enter a building with bells at the entrance.

    Saving Sherma

Inside Sherma’s hideout, locate him at the back of the building. He is hiding behind a false wall, which you must destroy to reveal his room. Talk to him, but beware: morticians and surgeons will appear afterward. You need to defeat them all to rescue Sherma. Strategies include:

    • Using traps like Tacks and Sting Shards (preferably with Pollip Pouch)
    • Employing Cross Stitch to punish over-aggressive morticians
    • Listening carefully for unseen movements
    • Staying mobile to avoid being surrounded
    • Prioritizing morticians over surgeons

Tip: Use Cling Grip to climb the walls and heal if surrounded.

After defeating all enemies, speak to Sherma again. He will reward you with a Spool Fragment. He will then return to the Songclave on his own; you don’t need to escort him. He’ll stay safe at Songclave with new dialogue about the bandages, and his story concludes for now.

Finding the White Key in Whiteward

On the right side of the Songclave, the White Key can be found against the metal fence on the ground. Pick it up, as it’s essential for entering the area to save Sherma.

Note: If the key isn’t there, it’s possible that story progression has blocked access. Sometimes the key may be purchased from merchant Jubilana at Songclave, who must be unlocked via her Wish quest first.

    Tracking Sherma’s Trail

Start from the Whiteward map dispenser and follow his trail right through various hazards, past enemies, and up into the building with bells at its entrance. Continue over spikes, ascend to the room above, and then head left over the spikes to find the building with bells.

This is as far as the current quest details go. Protecting Sherma involves navigating treacherous areas, defeating enemies, and gathering the necessary items to aid him.

  • Completing Dar-Ma’s Rescue in Oblivion Remastered

Completing Dar-Ma’s Rescue in Oblivion Remastered

In The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, numerous quests await, but some require more effort than others. You’ll travel across the map, save villagers, and defeat formidable foes. Among these quests, “A Shadow Over Hackdirt” will truly challenge your detective skills.

When Dar-Ma from Chorrol disappears, you must step in to find and rescue her. There are multiple ways to accomplish this, and we’ll guide you through the most effective methods to bring her home safely. Here’s what you need to know to locate the missing Argonian in Cyrodiil.

How to Start the “A Shadow Over Hackdirt” Quest

To kick off this quest, first, visit the city of Chorrol and meet young Dar-Ma. She’s a talkative Argonian who lives with her mother, Seed-Neeus, and they run the Northern Goods and Trade shop together.

Once you’ve met Dar-Ma, talk to her mother during your next visit. You’ll need to leave Chorrol completely for the quest to begin. Seed-Neeus sent Dar-Ma to make deliveries to a small settlement called Hackdirt, which is not far from Chorrol. Unfortunately, she hasn’t come back, and her mother is worried.

If you’ve previously visited Hackdirt, ensure that Etira Moslin and Vlanholder are still alive when you depart; otherwise, the quest won’t trigger.

    Where to Find Hackdirt

To reach Hackdirt, leave Chorrol and head south. Follow the path past the Weynon Priory, then take a detour along the dirt track further down. If you reach Odiil Farm, you’ve gone too far.

Upon arriving in Hackdirt, you’ll find that much of the town is in ruins. The place was devastated long ago, and the remaining residents aren’t very friendly. Engaging with them will reveal little information.

    How to Find Dar-Ma

Explore Hackdirt, but don’t take too long. While the locals are tight-lipped about Dar-Ma, you can still question them to gain some insight into the situation.

Start by talking to Etira Moslin, the local merchant and Seed-Neeus’s contact. She states that Dar-Ma never arrived and alleges that Seed-Neeus is a fraud, offering little more than that. You’re free to wander the town and gather evidence of Dar-Ma’s presence on your own.

    Gathering Evidence of Dar-Ma’s Arrival

There are several clues that suggest Dar-Ma was in Hackdirt. Below are some ways to confirm her visit and that she’s still nearby:

    • Her horse, Blossom. You’ll find Blossom in one of the burned-down buildings. While riding the horse counts as theft, Seed-Neeus mentioned that Dar-Ma would never abandon her beloved mare. If you ask Etira about the horse, she claims it belongs to her.
    • Dar-Ma’s ransacked bedroom. Head to the inn and pick the lock to the guest rooms. One of them appears to have been overturned, suggesting a struggle. Something feels off, but it’s unclear just by looking.
    • Dar-Ma’s diary. Inside the dresser of the guest room are Dar-Ma’s belongings and her diary. The latest entry talks about her hearing footsteps outside her door at night. When you confront the innkeeper about it, he claims she simply stayed the night and left without a word.
    • The Deep Ones. You can read the Bible of the Deep Ones in the chapel, which contains Daedric runes. While this won’t fuel conversation, it hints at why the townspeople are so secretive.

The Bible of the Deep Ones is a rare find, so don’t forget to grab it.

Every building in Hackdirt has a hidden trapdoor that can expedite your search for Dar-Ma. However, if you wish to gather more intel before venturing down, only one townsfolk can assist you.

Talk to Jiv Hiriel, who will caution you not to speak openly (if you hadn’t already guessed). Meet him at his house after dark, right next to the chapel. He’ll inform you that time is running out and you only have a few hours to save Dar-Ma.

Jiv Hiriel provides you with a key to the caverns below the settlement and tells you to enter through the inn to get to Dar-Ma.

While it’s possible to find Dar-Ma before speaking to Jiv and rescue her during the day, the townspeople devoted to the Deep Ones will attack you on sight.

    How to Keep Dar-Ma Safe

Upon entering the caverns beneath the settlement, you’ll discover Dar-Ma locked in a cage. Stealth is key to reaching her undetected, or you could combat the half-clothed Hackdirt Brethren. Use the key on the stool beside Dar-Ma to free her or pick the lock.

You can sneak out together through the ladder leading to the inn and then head to her horse, Blossom. If you drop a weapon for Dar-Ma, she may utilize it to defend herself. Otherwise, make a fast escape from town.

If Dar-Ma reaches Blossom, she’ll ride her back to town. However, the horse is quite slow since she has lost a shoe.

Instead, ride Blossom yourself and fast travel back to Chorrol to evade attacks on the way.

Once you’re back, talk to Seed-Neeus to inform her that her daughter is safe. For rescuing Dar-Ma, you’ll receive a five-point boost to your Mercantile skill, increased fame, and a disposition increase of 100 points with Seed-Neeus.

If Dar-Ma dies at any point during this quest, you’ll need to deliver the bad news to Seed-Neeus. You won’t receive a reward since she will now be in mourning for her only child.

Should You Kill the People of Hackdirt?

Be advised that if you’re spotted by the townspeople at night before the ritual, most will turn hostile and attack. Even if you manage to go undetected, they’ll aggressively chase you if you return.

Despite the unsettling noises in the caverns, you won’t actually see the Deep Ones. However, the growling sounds are thought to come from these mysterious creatures.

Only a small number, including Jiv Hiriel, will avoid conflict with you. Therefore, unless you’re truly committed to it, you’ll probably need to eliminate almost everyone in Hackdirt.

If you have a reason to save the townsfolk, try to navigate the settlement stealthily. Engage only with Jiv Hiriel without being seen, then make your way to the caverns.

Even if you avoid being spotted, there’s still a chance the townsfolk will attack, so stay alert.

Regardless of your decisions, the Hackdirt Brethren will track you down. If you don’t defeat them in the caves, they will emerge from the trapdoors and pursue you in the outside world. Act quickly to prevent additional casualties in Cyrodiil.

Save $349 On 12-Month Starlink Subscription In These States

If you’re looking to sign up for a year of Starlink, a new offer might be just what you need. Elon Musk’s satellite internet service has unveiled a promotion that allows you to receive the Starlink hardware at no cost, provided you commit to a 12-month residential service plan.

Typically, subscribing to Starlink means you would have to pay for both the monthly service and the equipment, which in the U.S. usually costs around $349. This upfront cost can be quite substantial. However, this new deal waives the hardware fee as long as you agree to the 12-month Residential plan. You can choose between the Residential Lite option, which is $80 per month and offers “unlimited deprioritized data,” or the standard Residential plan for $120 per month, which provides prioritized data access.

Upon taking advantage of this offer, you’ll have a 30-day trial period to test Starlink without any risk. After this initial 30 days, your commitment becomes binding, and you won’t be able to cancel your plan.

$0 for the Standard Kit with a 12-month residential service plan commitment, now available in select markets.

That hardware cost might still come back to haunt you in certain scenarios, as indicated in the Starlink promotion FAQ. If you change your service address, cancel your subscription, fail to pay your bill on time, transfer your Starlink service to another individual, or terminate your plan during the 30-day trial without sending back the hardware, you could face a Change Fee. The amount of this fee appears to vary by market and is prorated over time. Note that in some areas, an additional $100 demand fee may apply, which is not waived by this offer.

This offer is available in the U.S., but only in about half of the states. It can also be found in certain regions of Australia, Canada, the UK, and select European countries.

  • Completing the Quest to Save Mucianu Allias in Oblivion Remastered

Completing the Quest to Save Mucianu Allias in Oblivion Remastered

As you climb the ranks at the Arcane University, you do so under the careful guidance of the Archmage. Having witnessed the threats posed by necromancers and their dark rituals firsthand, the Archmage has enlisted your help to uncover schemes that may involve both forgotten faces and new adversaries.

With your growing reputation and skill within the guild, your upcoming mission will demand more from you than any prior task. You will face your most perilous challenge yet. Time is of the essence, and your expertise will not only affect the fate of someone vital to the Arcane University but could also impact the entire guild and the realm of Tamriel.

How to Start the Liberation or Apprehension Quest

To embark on this quest, you need to have completed all four assignments from Raminus Polus and achieved the rank of Magician. The tasks include:

    1. The Mages’ Staff
    2. Ulterior Motives
    3. Vahtacen’s Secret
    4. Necromancer’s Moon

Once these prerequisites are fulfilled, you can accept the quest from Archmage Traven.

He will instruct you to rescue Mucianus Allias from the ruins of Nenyond Twyll, where he is held captive by battlemages of the university.

Sometimes, the entrance to the Archmage Council chambers is flagged as trespassing. However, you can safely proceed without any consequences. Just use the teleporter without worry.

    How to Rescue Mucianus Allias

Nenyond Twyll is a series of Ayleid ruins located south of the Imperial City, around 500 steps west of Hircine’s Shrine and 200 steps west of Faregyl Inn.

You’ll find the entrance through a door at the base of a marble structure with a spiral staircase leading underground.

Upon entering, a battlemage named Fithragaer will question your presence and claim to be the last remaining battlemage. When he asks you to follow, he’ll dash ahead without warning.

Chase him quickly as he will trigger a floor trap that leads to his demise. You must navigate the edges of the platform to avoid this fate.

At the end of this section, you’ll encounter a skeleton and a necromancer. Defeat both to continue deeper into the ruins.

Fithragaer usually dies in the trap, but he might evade it if you’re not quick. You can try to keep him alive, but be warned: he is likely to fall to a single hit from any enemy. It’s often not worth the effort to save him, as it may cause unexpected issues.

In the next room, you’ll find two necromancers. It’s advisable to take them on one at a time to avoid being overwhelmed by their abilities.

After dealing with both, loot their bodies before moving to the next hallway to confront a skeletal guardian.

Check the nearby hallway for multiple chests containing useful potions; make sure to loot them all.

Continuing down to the Riellesel level, you’ll soon spot an elven woman blocking the doorway ahead. Speak with Mariette Rielle to uncover Mucianus’s fate.

Be ready to fight Mariette as soon as you finish your conversation.

Defeating her swiftly is crucial to prevent becoming overwhelmed by her summoned creatures and the skeleton lurking below the stairs.

In the next room, you’ll face several foes:

    • One skeleton
    • One zombie
    • Three necromancers

After eliminating these threats, you should be positioned on the north side of the bridge. Approach the north wall and open the door by pushing a block on the wall to your left.
Be cautious, as this action will reveal a zombie on the other side.

This isn’t just any zombie; it’s Mucianus Allias himself. Unfortunately, you cannot save him, so put him out of his misery.

Now, exit the ruins and return to the Arcane University to report on his tragic demise.

Don’t forget to loot the chest in the back room before you leave.

When you reunite with the Archmage, inform him of what transpired in the ruins. Completing this quest will conclude this mission, with no rewards other than what you collected during your adventure.

However, finishing this quest will enable you to speak with Raminus Polus to advance to the Warlock rank.

  • Completing Day 006: Solving Eito’s Dilemma at Last Defense Academy

Completing Day 006: Solving Eito’s Dilemma at Last Defense Academy

Following some intense conversation from Hiruko about classmates who choose not to fight in The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, Eito suddenly disappears the next day. Everyone quickly realizes that with one of the Extinguishers missing from the Entrance Hall, he must have left the school.

Take Darumi and Takemaru with you as you embark on a quest beyond the Undying Flames to locate Eito. Gather plenty of early-game resources along the way, and prepare to rescue him from a group of fierce invaders before bringing him back to school.

How to Rescue Eito from the Invaders

    Step One: Find Eito

On the morning of Day 006, head to the Cafeteria to find out that Eito has left the school due to Hiruko’s threats from the previous day. While she refuses to join your quest to find him, Darumi and Takemaru will accompany you. Meet them at the Entrance Hall and interact with the fire extinguishers to head outside.

If you haven’t experienced a board game expedition beyond the Undying Flames yet, this is the mechanic you’ll frequently use to find crucial resources, treasures, or lost characters as the story unfolds. You can also venture out during any morning Free Time segment.

Your aim in this phase is to navigate to the highlighted checkpoint on the board game map, but feel free to explore and gather resources along the way. It’s wise to avoid unnecessary battles to keep your team’s hit points (HP) up, especially since you’ll face a boss-like encounter when you reach Eito, who will be surrounded. Be ready to fight to rescue him.

    Step Two: Battle

In this battle, your primary goal is to defeat all the invaders while ensuring Eito’s safety. Keep an eye on Eito’s HP in the bottom left corner of your screen, as the invaders will attack him as much as they will you. Prioritize his protection; if he gets taken down outside the Flames, you’ll have to restart the battle.

Since Eito occupies just one space on the board, it’s a good strategy to surround him. There are only four spaces from which he can be attacked, so placing your teammates around him helps minimize his chances of taking damage.

Make sure you’ve focused on upgrading your Class Weapons during your free time. Having Takumi’s strong attack, Takemaru’s upgraded prong attack, and Darumi’s ability to control the enemies charging toward Eito can greatly help. While you can get through without these upgrades, it’s always a smart idea to improve your Class Weapons before heading out.

Darumi highlighting Takemaru, Eito, and Takumi in the Day 006 battle to save Eito in The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy.

Luckily, each fighter on your team has multi-target attacks, so try to eliminate as many enemies as possible during your turn. Keep an eye on the larger invaders, as defeating them restores one AP, allowing you to execute some impressive combos, especially with your Voltage attacks. Once all the invaders are defeated, the battle wraps up, and you’ll bring Eito back to school, earning plenty of Battle Points for your efforts.

Opera is stepping into the future of AI-driven browsing with a groundbreaking feature called Browser Operator, showcased at MWC 2025. This innovative tool transforms simple written queries into actionable commands, streamlining the web surfing experience and reducing the need for users to manually navigate through different pages.

Simply type your request in everyday language, and Browser Operator does the rest. For instance, if you need to secure three concert tickets, just instruct the Operator, and it will handle the selection and booking process, guiding you to the final payment stage without hassle.

As this browsing assistant springs into action, users will receive a detailed breakdown of the actions taken, akin to an AI reasoning model. The Operator can tackle complex multi-step tasks while keeping track of context from prior interactions.

    How does Operator work?

    Nadeem Sarwar / Digital Trends

This tool doesn’t operate fully autonomously; Opera has designed it to require user confirmation at sensitive points, like entering personal information such as phone numbers or vehicle details. The technology relies on the AI Composer Engine, intelligently parsing user inputs into specific browsing directives.

One of the standout aspects of the Browser Operator is that it functions locally on your device rather than relying on cloud processing, ensuring that user data remains private. According to Opera, “the Browser Operator runs natively inside your browser,” protecting sensitive information such as cookies and browsing history.

The AI’s approach differs from traditional web interactions, as it emphasizes a text-based comprehension of webpages rather than treating them as static images. This efficiency accelerates the browsing process significantly.

Moreover, the Operator effectively interacts with elements that might be overlooked by users, such as pop-ups and verification prompts. If it encounters steps requiring user action, it will prompt the individual to temporarily take control.

Opera describes its process as a “human-in-the-loop” methodology, where users can either navigate the webpage themselves or input necessary details directly into the Operator chat interface. It’s essential to note that at no point does the Operator retain any data, as that information is intended solely for processing by the website.

The Browser Operator is currently in its preview stage, with plans for a feature rollout in the “near future.” It’s worth mentioning that Opera isn’t the only player in the field; OpenAI has also created its version called Operator, and Gemini Deep Research offers another web-centric agentic AI solution.

  • Rescuing the Dry Devil in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Rescuing the Dry Devil in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Once you’ve finished the quest “The Sword and the Quill,” your next adventure in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is called “Speak of the Devil.” After discovering that Margrave Jobst turned away the Dry Devil, you’ll team up with Zizka to track him down.

The Dry Devil has a fierce reputation, but you’ll soon find out that he has been captured. This quest is one of the most entertaining so far, featuring some challenging moments. Here, we’ll guide you through completing this quest smoothly.

Follow Zizka to the Devil’s Den

After you meet Jobst in “The Sword and the Quill,” simply follow Zizka for a while and strike up a conversation until the option for fast travel pops up. The journey is lengthy, so it’s best to fast travel. Upon arrival, you’ll trigger a cutscene.

This cutscene will show a group of men picking on a drunkard who happens to be Zizka’s friend, prompting you to engage in combat. Defeat the enemies, then speak with Kubyenka, who will inform you that the Dry Devil is now in captivity.

Your main task is to rescue him, and for that, you’ll need some supplies. Kubyenka has hidden some hand cannons near his camp, but he’s uncertain where exactly. So, you’ll need to follow him a bit to uncover their location.

Follow Kubyenka to Find the Hand Cannons

    Henry riding alongside Kubyenka.

Mount your horse and follow Kubyenka. Engage him in conversation along the way, as the distance isn’t short. When you arrive at the location, tag along as he leads you to his camp. If you don’t have a spade, it’s a good idea to pick one up from the camp since you’ll need to do some digging shortly.

Continue to follow Kubyenka, who will take you to a location. You won’t find the hand cannons just yet, so go through the dialogue options and follow him to the next spot. Shortly after, he’ll ask you to retrieve some booze from the water. You can either get the booze or decide to ignore the request by picking the third option.

A spot in the forest perfect for digging.

If you choose to get the booze, it won’t take long, so it’s better to do it. Afterward, chat with Kubyenka and share some booze with him. Keep following him, and he’ll take you to another area. Start digging, and this time, you’ll uncover a grave where you can loot a few items from the body inside.

After exhausting the dialogues, follow Kubyenka again, and he will lead you to the right spot. Dig there, and you will find the firearms. Now, hop back on your horse and accompany him to the ambush location. As you ride, Kubyenka will start singing, and it’s quite a humorous tune.

The song is hilarious, so let him sing and give him compliments; it’ll make your journey much more enjoyable.

How to Save the Dry Devil

The Dry Devil seated in a cart with slight injuries.

When you reach the ambush site, talk to Zizka. He’ll inquire about your experience with Kubyenka. Select the second option to witness yet another amusing exchange. Zizka will then share his strategy for ambushing the enemy, which leads to a cutscene.

If you have a decent skill level, you should succeed, and some enemies may flee, easing your fight. If you don’t pass the skill check, however, some allies may run, raising the difficulty of the battle.

Your team will fire the hand cannons at the enemies, but none will be hit, setting up another comedic moment. Soon, you’ll face three skill checks; if your skills are low, opt for the first choice: “I will shoot, but in your belly!”

It’s wise to take out a few enemies with your hand cannon since it’s already loaded. While Zizka and the others are fighting, reload and shoot at the enemies. Make sure to target the knight in armor, as you can eliminate him with a single shot; just remember that reloading takes some time.

So, it’s preferable to choose the option without the skill requirement. Now, engage in battle, keeping an eye on the heavily armored foes. Let Zizka confront him while you attack from a safe distance. Once you’ve defeated all your enemies, talk to Zizka and select “Shall we head out?” to enter the Devil’s Den.

Zizka conversing with the Dry Devil and Kubyenka.

Engage in all the dialogue options and agree to assist Zizka and the Dry Devil. After this, the quest will conclude, allowing you to unlock two more quests: Into the Underworld and The Devil’s Pack. Feel free to choose either quest to start first.

  • Avowed: Preserve or Annihilate Solace Keep?

Avowed: Preserve or Annihilate Solace Keep?

At the conclusion of Our Dreams Divide Us Still, an important quest in Avowed, you must decide between following the advice of Mihala or Kostya. However, neither character presents a compelling argument. Mihala has nearly pushed her people into destruction by clinging to outdated traditions, is often rude to you, and her strategy seems to solely focus on countering Kostya’s plan. This doesn’t make for a solid pitch.

On the flip side, Kostya betrays both Mihala and you. His approach involves destroying Solace Keep, risking the lives of everyone inside in a misguided effort to resolve the Dreamscourge, which may not even work. Therefore, your decision is less about the story and more about the rewards. In this case, your best bet is to protect the Keep.

What Happens If You Leave Kostya in the Lava Tubes?

You can choose a rather lazy option here: instead of trying to help Kostya, simply tell him you won’t intervene, then walk away. This results in no rewards, and Solace Keep meets its end. This outcome is the absolute worst for everyone involved, so it’s wise to steer clear of this path.

When you meet Mihala afterward, she suggests that Kostya might still be out there, but the next quest is effectively a point of no return. It seems this hint is more about Mihala lamenting the past rather than having any significant consequences. Ultimately, avoiding this option is advisable.

What Happens If You Destroy the Winch Gears?

Choosing to destroy the winch gears does at least show that you’ve taken a side, but you still walk away with nothing. Kostya offers only a thank you for your efforts, meaning that when it comes to tangible benefits, Mihala is a better option. Even in this scenario, Mihala will express a similar wistfulness regarding Kostya.

What Happens If You Kill Kostya?

If you opt to fight Kostya, be prepared for a tough battle. He can deal heavy damage, but he’s also rather slow. Similarly, his two Wardens follow suit in their attack patterns. You could create some distance by retreating up the steps for a ranged advantage, but the best tactic is to engage in quick strikes and dodge his swings. He lacks any special abilities; his power comes from his sheer size.

After defeating Kostya and his Wardens, you have a couple of immediate tasks. First, loot his body to acquire Councilor’s Garb light armor and Councilor’s Shoes, which provides various boosts. Although you could still choose to destroy the winch afterward, it serves little purpose and is truly pointless unless you want to embrace chaos.

    Stats for Councilor’s Garb:

    • Damage Reduction: 5%
    • Additional Damage Reduction: 70
    • Maximum Stamina: -20
    • Maximum Essence: -10

Next, you will need to raise the gates by interacting with the wheel in the room to save Solace Keep. Once that’s done, return to Mihala, who will reward you with the Bastion of Solace shield.

Stats for Bastion of Solace Shield:

    • Block Efficiency: 84
    • Stability: 20
    • Parry Efficiency: 340
    • Elemental Resistance: 45

What Do Your Companions Think in Our Dreams Divide Us Still?

Companions Marius and Yatzli have strong opinions about your choices. Marius, feeling a deep connection to his homeland, advocates for saving the Keep and reacts with anger if it’s destroyed. In contrast, Yatzli supported Kostya’s bold plan and questions your judgment if you decide to kill him. Giatta tends to align with Marius, especially after the destruction of her own city, while Kai shows some support for Yatzli, though remains somewhat neutral.

In summary, despite the narrative discussions that arise from your choices, they don’t affect your relationships with your companions mechanically, so their feelings might not be a priority. Sorry, Yatzli.

  • Tips for Saving Dice in Monopoly Go: A Handy Guide

Tips for Saving Dice in Monopoly Go: A Handy Guide

Rolling the dice to navigate the Monopoly Go boards has been a classic feature since the original Monopoly board game debuted almost a hundred years ago. The developers of Monopoly Go have found innovative ways to incorporate this beloved mechanic into the modern digital landscape, especially with their limited dice rolls.

Many players have discovered ways to accumulate thousands of dice at once, which is why you often see them at the top of the leaderboards. While there’s no one right way to play Monopoly Go, we’ll share a few strategies to help you conserve your dice.

At any given time, Monopoly Go provides several stores where you can buy extra rolls for real money, either through the game itself or via the Tycoon Club. However, this guide will focus on strategies to help you save dice without spending any cash.

Earn Free Dice Every Hour (If You’re Below a Set Limit)

When starting Monopoly Go, it can be tempting to quickly spend all your dice just to get the game going! As you continue playing, you’ll earn more, and Monopoly Go consistently gives you incentives to keep coming back. However, you can earn free dice every hour to keep your supply up.

It’s important to note that these free dice accumulate only until your total reaches 200. Once you hit that threshold, the game won’t provide additional rolls. If you run out, don’t worry; you have a 20-hour window where you’ll be able to gather more before you stop accumulating dice again.

For players with more than 200 dice, the game halts the hourly generation of extras to assist those who may have depleted their count and need a boost to return to the action.

    Collect All Free Rewards

To encourage players to keep engaging with their popular mobile game, Scopely offers various in-game rewards that are worth collecting. These rewards include:

    • Completing your Quick Wins tasks daily. This is a set of three easy objectives focused on gameplay, such as moving around the board, playing mini-games, and upgrading your buildings.

      • Make sure to check and claim your rewards after finishing these tasks, as you won’t automatically receive your dice payouts until you do.
    • Participating in the weekly reward meter for completing Quick Wins, which gives out free dice along with other bonuses like sticker packs.

    • Claiming your in-game store rewards, which refresh every eight hours, ensuring you get some free rolls every time you check in.

    • Visiting the Tycoon Club daily for free dice in both the Shop and Benefits sections.

    • Seeking out codes for free dice that are typically available each day—there can be anywhere from one to three codes, and we maintain an updated list for convenience.

These are reliable methods to gather extra rolls that don’t take much time. Many players focus on completing their daily tasks and collecting rewards without spending excessive time playing outside these objectives.

    Complete Sticker Albums

As you play, you’ve probably noticed the vibrant sticker packs you collect alongside dice and cash. It’s vital to collect as many of these as possible because completing a sticker album yields hundreds of free dice.

Each album contains stickers that are increasingly rare, so the harder it is to complete the album, the greater the reward will be in terms of dice. Therefore, not only should you strive to collect sticker packs during your gameplay, but consider trading duplicates with friends to fill your albums faster.

Additionally, finishing every sticker album each season grants you thousands of free dice rolls and even more if you manage to complete them multiple times.

Bet on Rolling Doubles When in Jail

A more unconventional strategy involves taking risks during gameplay. If you land on the Go to Jail space, you’ll be temporarily confined to that spot, but you’ll have three chances to roll doubles and secure your release. Successfully rolling doubles means you’ll not only escape but also earn a nice stash of dice!

Some players intentionally increase their dice roll multiplier when they know they might land in Jail. This can lead to significant rewards if you do happen to roll doubles, as higher multipliers mean even more dice in return.

Partner Up with Active Players During Team Events

You may have some friends on your list who frequently seem to have extra rolls or are quick to help with sticker exchanges. These active players are ideal partners for team events, as they’re more reliable and committed to participating in these activities. Aligning with them can make the tasks less tedious and help conserve your resources.

Know When to Step Away from Gameplay

While Monopoly Go continually offers events, it’s essential to recognize that you don’t always need to participate in every single one. Though events are excellent opportunities for earning additional dice, rolling recklessly in pursuit of random prizes can end up costing you more than you gain.

Be strategic about when to take breaks. Consider skipping gameplay during:

    • The final moments of an event if you are far from the next milestone.
    • Daily leaderboards that are competitive, especially if you’re not keen on the potential rewards.
    • Special events where you might not earn enough tokens on time.

Carefully Choose Your Dice Roll Multipliers Based on Upcoming Tiles

When you start accumulating some dice, it’s tempting to ramp up your roll multiplier. Monopoly Go allows you to adjust multipliers based on your current dice count, but think carefully before you increase it.

Playing manually allows you to assess upcoming spaces, whereas auto-rolling depletes your dice quicker without providing you time to strategize. If the spaces ahead offer points relevant to your current events, then boosting your dice roll makes sense. But if those spaces offer less rewarding outcomes, it could benefit you to tone down your multiplier instead.

Moreover, during the High Roller flash events, which temporarily increase your potential maximum multiplier, it’s worth weighing your strategy based on the tiles ahead before jumping in.

By keeping these tips in mind, you’ll be better equipped to save your dice in Monopoly Go and enhance your gaming experience. Enjoy your time on the board!

First, go to the main menu and click on your profile icon located at the top right corner. This will open your profile or ‘Career’ page. Once there, choose the ‘Favorites’ tab from the top menu bar, where you’ll find your five latest highlights listed.

Find the highlight you’d like to save and click the ‘Save’ button underneath it. You will then have the chance to adjust several settings, including the highlight’s name, resolution, and frame rate.

    Where Are My Highlights Stored?

By default, saved highlights will be located in your computer’s ‘Videos’ folder or your console’s media library, depending on which platform you’re using. If you’re on PC and want to change where your highlights are saved, click the ‘Change’ button in the ‘Highlights Saved’ section and choose your preferred destination folder.
